Eww. Anyways, this one doesn't bring many structural changes, although the music was thoroughly (and somewhat messily) composed to fit the Chess theme! Actually, I'm thinking of putting this Go music up as a sort of "free online CD" that you could download if you want.

Oh, and for anyone who cares about structural differences, I cleaned up the library for this and made the system's set-up more organized and streamlined.

And I just realized that some people probably like these problems because I use the word "Fail" when an incorrect move is played. I also realized (at school) how someone is always saying "fail" at least every 90 seconds. I just hope you know I'm not using it like that, it's just a shorthand way to get across that you responded incorrectly. (And I hope you people finally come to your senses and realize that saying "fail" isn't really that funny when everyone is saying it constantly, it's actually becoming annoying. Come on guys, it used to be good for a laugh! )

Oh well whatever. For our Web class we have to make a portfolio in Flash, which should be a breez... wait. I just remembered my old Flash sites that I made, which are tucked safely away in the dark recesses of my gallery... OH WELL. Hopefully I've improved! So I'll post the portfolio when it's finished, which will be who-knows-when.

Since it's getting fairly close to problem 450 and school's started, I'm asking (once again) for any ideas you have for the next Go problem layout! And if no one says anything, I'll just have to make up something to work with. (So far I've got a Game Boy thing and possibly a transparent board on a background, which might not work out considering my talent in "elegant backgrounds.")

Oh, and has anyone heard of the web browser Shiira? Version 1.x was very attractive, despite it's lack of plug-in support on Intel Macs. I liked the browser enough to start using it as my default, but no Flash Player is no good. So I upgraded to version 2.x, which is not only very buggy, but doesn't have the same appearance. Now it looks somewhat dull! I'm hoping I could try to help out the creators though, since it is an open source project and I'd love to see Shiira become an actual option in the eyes of internet users.

Now I feel silly for saying anything, sheesh.

I really do need to work on tying everything together though, as the text box seems out of place and the board might be kind of wonky.

I'll try working on "Path of Go" (For lack of a better name. It's the Go compilation, if you didn't know), although it's unbelievably painful to do so since the older problems were built without compatibility in mind. The funny part is, I even had plans at the time to put them into a compilation! Oh well.

I'll try working on "Spoon!to the Beach!", although the current scene I have planned requires me drawing her at an angle. If you know me, then you know that I cannot draw people or angles! DX Then there's that game project, possibly "Narau Kanji!", and uh... stuff.

-THINGS OF A PERSON'S POSSIBLE INTERESTS -
We should be going to Sweden sometime around the second week of June. I plan on brining my Gameboy Camera along with my insane Gameboy Camera setup! I'm also going to have a regular camera and internet access, so my site'll still be updated while I'm there, although there won't be any more Go problems for a while.

Speaking of my Gameboy Camera, you have no idea what I meant by "insane setup". You see, I have one of only 2000 rare golden Gameboy Cameras, a gold Gameboy Light (only gameboy system with backlight and cartridge slot at the top) which was only sold in Japan, Gameboy Printer and cable (and extra paper rolls), Mad Catz Link Cable to rip high quality Gameboy Camera photos off the actual console.... oh man, it's a Gameboy photographer's dream! Enough of this.

Also, before I go you must hear "Stupid Vinyl Collection"! It's like 22 minutes of every good genre of music, along with some recorded audio and assorted noises. Oh, not to mention a GERMAN CHANNEL SURFING PIRATE followed by some tropical-pop version of the Star Trek theme! Anyways, I'll try to make a lot more problems in one day than I usually do, because I'll need some way to promote going to my site. That, and these get uploaded 3 hours earlier when they're already made and waiting to be uploaded to DA than when I have to make one for my site and DA! Shut up, it's not an excuse... for the most part.... :'<

Anyways, check it out, because my site looks really nice. I realized that I have no copy of my current website, so I've been copy and pasting every scrap of text there into a text file, and right now I'm copying the comments I made on my Go problems.... that's why I brought this up.

Speaking of my site, I'm making good progress on my new template, kinda, and I'm about to switch web hosts! (That's why I need these text copies, I don't plan to transfer my old files over in favor of new things I'm going to use from now on) That doesn't mean the Go problems will be up right away, but it does mean they'll be back soon! Ok, so the new version of my site could use some new features. On of those fetaures are page top/bottom buttons. The other is an SGF file download center, where you can download some of my games!

So, if you guys want anything to be added, I'll see if I can do it! Something I'm considering is a "rating system" on the Go Problems, and I guess any movies and games I've made, too. Basically, you'll be able to rate everything 0-5/5 stars...

The new RAM is like, fake or something. This computer handles just the same as before. EXACTLY the same as before....

As for the motherboard, thanks DELL, for giving us a refurbished motherboard without telling us, then restating our correct shipping info 2 times, and proceeding to send it to Grandma's. You're the best! D8<

Anyways, it's been installed, and apparently... err, well, we always knew this, but now my parents want to do stuff about the "infections" on here. Seriously, this computer has a worse immune system than I do! D8

Oh, and did I mention possible after school soccer practice, plus the fact that I get lots of homework, and it takes like, 2:30-4 hours? I mean, I was aiming for trying to catch up this weekend, but after a last minute barrage.... yeah....

So, should I try to catch up, or should I just start with 154 tomorrow, and then miss a week or two?

Bleh, I have to use my mom's computer to type this. OK, here's what happened:

Gustav somehow knocked out our power. I have no idea why our lines were hit, or if they ran through Louisiana or what.... O_o Anyways, it was out, and then on the 4th day of the outage, mom got us tickets to Grandma's. I was a little mad, because with no power, there was a whole lot less Stafy, and more Yoro concept art and stuff, for this game I'm working on... and boy did they look good with my ink pen and crayola finish! 8D But anyways, went there, played Gamecube, drew some art, played a ton of Stafy, played and lost to a ton of computers on the KGS Go server, and ate some good food... Then we spent 6 hours flying home on some crazy connection flights, and when I got home.... uh, click this post's title again for the effect... ( Which you can't do because this was written for my site. Click this: [link] =3=; )

My computer wouldn't start because it claims that there's "Not enough power to operate." Dell was very helpful in doing nothing. I mean, look at this! You click "My computer will not start" and then it asks "Is it this computer that has the problem, or another one?" What do you think, doofus? =a=; We're going to get the Geek Squad to see if they can help sometime today... I'm kinda hoping that it's a nonreplaceable component, and that my files can be saved, and uh, insurance or something. Know why? Because then I could get a Mac, load Windows XP on it for the "Non compatable with Mac" things or whatever.... which doesn't seem too uh... logical... I don't know. I should do more research, I talk to some people with gTalk, and I think that gTalk isn't compatable with Mac, but if I had Windows on there too, it's still a Mac computer.... I don't know, I guess it works! I just want Garage Band and uh.... I like messing around with uh, iPhoto or whatever it was...

Anyways, what I should really be saying is, I have my power back, but there's a uh... 'technical difficulty' so.... no Go problems for another while, I don't know how long, no more Spoon updates.... no more uh, well, don't expect much of anything... I might scan and upload some of those drawings I did, though! Some are actually really good!

Oh, and don't worry about my files, it might have not backed up since problem 152 or something, but if it comes to that, I can use the back-up hardrive. Only problem is, the new problem layout has like, 4 versions, and 154 had a lot more work put into it than 150 did... but I can probably get my work back! Wish me luck! 8D

Oh, and I finished watching gunXsword (Or Gun Sword, but I couldn't find any english dubs... so I guess it was gunXsword) yesterday, and although most of it felt kinda dumb, seeing as I think mecha battles are pretty silly, I enjoyed it. It was prolly just the characters and music, and the stuff they did, but I really enjoyed it, which was nice!

Prolly my first time in 2 years or so watching an anime like that...

I need to make more go problems and stuff, too.

Aaaaanyways, I am crazy with buying stuff. As if you saw that huge list of stuff I've bought, I just went and bought Nightmare in Dreamland and Squeak Squad, because I wanted them. But the stores didn't have them, so I went on ebay and well... ended up with a copy of Super Star with it's box and everything for another $60. Now I'm saving for an SNES and hoping to break the chain! DX

Yeah, I haven't done too much lately.... I've been lurking a lot though....

Anyways, I guess this is mainly because I have some game projects that I want to work on... aaaaaaaaaand I am always doing other stuff instead of go problems...

I really don't want to restart now, what with 1 and about half a week left of school.... meaning finals and studying.

I mean, it's not stressful to make them, it's just sometimes I feel like there's something better I could be doing at the time.... (and there usually isn't.... O_o)

So yeah. I'll try though! During the summer, if I don't go to Sweden (Not Switzerland, Sweden! My >friend< lives in Sweden, >I< was born in Switzerland.... which I have friends there too, but anyways, stop confusing them! =a=; [tee hee]) I should be able to make a boatload of problems.... or maybe I could. I mean, he has the program..... methinks!

Oh, but if I do go, it's Game Boy Camera TIEM! Man I love that thing! I need to upload a few photos to here to show you guys the power of low quality... some stuff looks really good!

Yeah, that's another thing. Over the past 2 months, I've spent about $350 on games. And not like, enitirely console stuff, I mean like: Brawl, DS Lite, Pokemon Diamond, Kirby's Dreamland, Kirby Tilt n' Tumble, Game and Watch Gallery 3, Game Boy Camera Red, Kirby's Dreamland 2, Game Boy Printer, Wario Land 2, Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle (I don't really want this game, but it came with Wario Land and the next item), and then....

I have quite a few rare pieces in my collection.... I guess I could post some pictures for other fanatics! (The red camera shall go to my great friend for his birthday.... because it can! 8D)

Oh, I also got and beat Kirby Superstar and am currently trying to beat Earthbound! 8D Great games!

The best part is, I still have $50 left over.... how did that happen? O_o
(Is saving for Kirby Super Ultra Deluxe and his next console game.... go Wiki it, they haven't said much about it and everything I know is on Wikipedia!)

I've been and will continue to post go problems daily, unless it's annoying, BUT!

I have been working on other things too! Narau Kanji! is being cleaned up so that you know how to use it and all, and all i'll have to do is upload characters to it, which I'll try to do everyday.

Anyways, bah, I've been doing a lot of things lately...

I finally beat Super Mario Galaxy (Yes, fully beat it, not rush through it and finish with 60-something stars... |:B) and it was awesome! 8D I was so sad when it was completely over... but then I got Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games! 8D

Oh, and I've been re-doing my website... the old one was a pain to update and use... this one is more comvient! Go check it out!

Oh, and geez, I was so far behind on this. I've been reading a lot into buying go items and playing and such... and then I saw this thing saying that stones come "chalky" in the mail to preserve them, and that they should be washed after shipping.... well, I've had this set for what now, 2 years?.... never washed them...

I was like "Lol, whoops."

It was aggravating! D8

I had to put then in the sink, the sink had indents where the stones would go and hide, then I had to scrub them in warm water... I only did that with the white stones because when I finished the black... I was like

"Oh wait, warm water"

Then came drying, and the black stones took forever.... finally, I had to oil them, and the white ones came out ok, except for the fact that I had to dry 1 at a time by rubbing off the oil with a towel...

It took me about 1-2 hours just to wash them and oil them! (Well, mainly oiling, but washing took some time too)

And the whole time, I was missing out on Shrek 3... ;_;

At least I have clean stones! 8D

Wow, I've done so much, achieved so little. Sorry for not updating! I'm going to try to draw a christmas piece today (lawl rush.) and try to upload it tomorrow! I've also been improving my go skillz. I finally beat my friend 128.5 to 103 or something like that! C: I'm so proud. And my Dad almost beat me yesterday, although I did give lots of advantages in some places... I won by a point. O_o Ya, enough boring, guess what else!

came over yesterday! 8D twas fun. So did my other friend. Heh, 's such a pyromaniac, I know what I'm getting him for christmas!

I also got Starfox 64 on my wii. SO FUN! And Slippy.... that gu---well... uh.... we'll just say -[gender undetermined]- is nuts. And teh asteroid belt, that has got to be the funniest place EVAR. C: 'Things are finally heating up!' (Uh, what?) 'Quit dinkin' around, Slip' (Dinkin' around?) 'We're heading into the asteroids!' (O RLY, Fox?) and then at one point Slippy goes like 'Hold 'A' to charge your lasers' (IMMA CHARGIN MAH LAZORZ!) So fun...

...Schools for schools is basically getting your school involved in fundraising to help build schools in Uganda, where civil war has been going on for almost 20 years. All you have to do is try to start a club at your school, or just donate money to anywhere that's participating!

Also, because I know that this sounds more like an advert than a news post, I'm thinking of getting into coding again, action script and non-actionscript codes. I'm working on something like an audio visualizer/player (Yes, it sounds like a newgrounds rip-off, but I assure you, I'm not trying to) that can have audio files uploaded to it via RSS feeds or soemthing like that.

Also, that game I had going, Daisukai, will prolly become smalledr than I had hoped it would be. But I shall make it a worthy RPG game for newgrounds, after I change the name til I'm happy with it. Any advice will be nice! (No, this will not be as low quality as my other submissions, this'll be really fun, I promise!)

If you didn't notice (and how could you not?), I've posted some of my sketches, and I'll probably put on more from my other sketchbooks.... like the one I've been wanting to upload since january.... O_o

I've also started to work on some animation tests, and yes, I am making sure every frame is worth looking at, because if every frame is, the whole thing is! 8D

Oh, a note on Dante.... I like how the.... *ahem* image *ahem* looks the way I wanted it to, and that made me satisfyed. That, and I spent spent 3 hours 'triming' his hair. Because for some reason I colored underneath instead of just using the fill tool.... so now I gotta trim the coloring so that it looks more like his hair and less like a bag on his head. |:B

I'm also getting started on OS, although I'd rather have more character sketches done at this point, I don't need them yet. But I will get that done, make a promotional music video for OS, and with the clips I used in that video, reuse them (Promotional video? More like an AMV to a non-exsistant anime) to uh.... better supply the viewer with entertainment faster, yes, not because I'm lazy or anything! Doing it for the people!

I also just got that 'Lukedraik retro' tee shirt from my shop, absolutely awesome. I love it. It's better than that dumb black spray logo (twill be changed) and those mass reused images I have on some items! So at least see what I've got, the items are really awesome now! (some are at least)

I know conclude this rant by appropriatly saying Happy Turkey Day! (Or Thanksgiving, whatever you wanna call it! ) I won't be enjoying this because I don't like meat. maybe duck and some chicken, but we're having ham because we know I won't eat anything else.... including Ham. And I dun like the other thanksgiving foods either...

They must feel so rejected by me.... Anyways, at least others can enjoy it more than I do! Have a nice holiday! 8D

Anyways, guess what I got? (And no, I'm not trying to obsess here... ) I have just recieved Naruto and Fullmetal Alchemist book 1, in japanese, from japan, from a very nice vendor on ebay. As he's stated in a letter to me, ARIGATOOOoooo!!! 8D I can read the begining of FMA.... or at least the first word bubble, because all he says is, in english, 'Al, A-al? ALPHONSE!' but it's a start! ^w^

I am also making an Edward Elric costume, because I can not come up with great ideas for Halloween anymore.... *sigh* The costume is pretty good though, and thge only thing I don't have is the cloak, which I'm not getting because it's too hard to find/make.

I've also taken up go again, as seen in my little grid papers of 'aper go', in which I almost always lose against my friends. I'm playing right now, I'm better than I used to be! It's fun, I can beat anyone in my family!

I'm also procrastinating on learning japanese, I shall try my best to pick up! I have mastered the japoanese alphabets (Yes plural, I am teh smartz. |:B) and can do them by memory.

Enough on japanese, I'm making progress on OS, or Overhead Skies, and have Tai's (awesome) character design, and Luke's been done for a while! I shall begin, but I think I'll give Luke a cat, because cats are cute! ^w^ ~ Myu

I've been playing this game called 'knuckles in china land' on my computer... it's this learn japanese rpg, it's free, and it's good.... but it's kinda childish... ;0; But I'm learning! I'm excited. Ima get me some japanese manga and study the language until I can watch all the anime I want without reading! XD
