I was there yesterday, having bought a 1-day pass due to my job switching my schedule around. I worked 3rds all week, rendering me a zombie pretty much every day. So, I got little done, and almost didn't have anything ready for print on Friday. It worked out (albeit, losing some quality in the prints...).

I met a lot of artists and authors, including Larry Elmore, Jessica Cox, Matthew Verish, and Todd Lockwood.

Mine is putting enough detail and knowing what and how to put that detail there. I spend a lot of time, and as it begins to take shape, I'll forget about the minute details that make the painting worthwhile. I believe that's where I fall flat most of the time (besides needing to practice anatomy more.)

I believe this is why my work seems sketchy most the time, even after spending more than forty hours on it. I wish I could ask for a secret to curb that, but I believe the only secret is in practice itself. The more you do it, the better you get.

On one hand, I'm free of school for a few weeks - but on another, I'm in a bit of a situation. Nothing bad, really. Just something I'd like to do.

As some of you know, I have a medium Wacom Intuos 4. As a handful of you know, that tablet is now dead. I don't have warranty. It's been three months since I gave it to my dad, who hoped to fix it, but unfortunately couldn't. In the meantime, I've been using a Wacom Bamboo, the tiniest size I could find due to the cost ($70.) It's worked fine, and is great for portability. The list of names was enormous and a lot of them amusing, fun, and interesting. It took a while for me to decide, and I was torn between a lot of them. However, I kept going back to two in particularly, and decided they'd both suit. One as an official name, and the other that may (or may not) appear as a joke in the book.

On TinyChat multiple people can livestream at the same time. If you want to stream, you have to download a program called ManyCam (http://www.manycam.com/) and click Broadcast. You can also use it to voice chat by having a mic plugged in (most laptops have a built in mic though.)

Well, I'ma use it in school this Fall semester, so I may as well get the program and start learning how. That way, when I take the class (it's 2-D animation in flash) I don't have to waste time learning HOW and can spend more time making something fun with it. :meow:
