So I watched the new music/opera "Repo: The Genetic Opera" and I have to say I am impressed! It is officially one of my favorite movies already. To some up the idea of it (if you haven't seen it)
its like Andrew Lloyd Weber teamed up with Nightwish and they traveled to the year 2057.

The music through the whole movies has an awesome classic opera influence with instruments and rythms from the rock 'n roll / punk era. The characters are also cool and the plot and story can't be beat. I suggest you all watch it.

On another note I am still yet to find work. I have a company I am applying for that I have some friends in so that might pan out sooner or later. I just hope I don't end up at walmart ~shutter~. I know I probly won't find a great job, and thats ok, I just want to get a job that pays what I got at GCR or a lil more. Sadness to say as Collins College provided me with nothing I can use outside the game industry. Although our course was pointed specificaly toward that.

Also, I have been noticing several of my friends posting journals with sad overtones and getting a jibe like life isn't so good. To that I just want to say: Buck up chaps! there is bright roads ahead... or beyond... or what the hell did the captain say near the beginning of the 70s version of 2000 leagues under the sea?

Gah this is gonna kill me now... NETFLIX!

Anyway, cheer up fellows. You only get one life so try to find something good in the one you have. Or get a nice hat, that always helps people feel better, or at least it did in the 40s.

So I was just browsing through DA art to see whats out there, comment on some stuff, maybe get some ideas for my next tattoo when something started to disturb me:

Every page I looked at contained at least one image of a woman's left eye. I know that these are valid photographic images, but it seems to me that if so many are being taken at once they make each other a cliche image. Be it that I myself take lots of flower photographs and these are also poular photos to take I still don't flood an art site with them.

Did I miss something on tv, radio, internet, pigeon mail, office memo, powerline enduced preprogramed government big brother plot dream, or handwritten letter that announced the strange and sudden popularity of these pictures?

I know my rankings can seem it a bit crazy, and that is becuase they are. But really I mean how many of these can happen before some photographer grabs his camera and thinks: "Maybe we've taken enough of these for now". You know what I would love to see become a photo-fad? Parrots. Yeah parrots, big one, little ones, red feathers, blue feathers. I don't care just something other than chiks' eyes.

Oh well, back to my lomography...

So I was mixing random stuff during my Wife and I's party night and I invented the best drink EVER!!!!

I call it the hulk! 1 part kalua, 1 part Creme De la Minte Liquer, 1 part milk (or creamer) It looks like that stub himself and will put the same look on your face! I love them. And so many uses!!!!!! Helps you sleep, helps you loosen up, helps you drive large military weaponry, helps you drive a space locomotive and will help drop you to sleep!

So I have been trying to jump back into writing on my story (now titled 'Mother's Favorite Words' ) and I can't seem to start. I am stuck on what to have the main character do to drive him insane and all. I have also been wanting to draw the woman from the story but I can't get that out either... not well anyway.

So I sit and wait and do a little dance and hope something will pop into my head soon.

yeah I like it.

so after my wife's computer literally broke by doing nothing as it sat in her lap, we decided it was time.

yes, thats right folks... we bought a mack

now now I know there are alot of mac haters out there and after going through the task of finding reviewing purchasing and using one I can say that its just like a pc. only no viruses, hack attacks, key loggers, random hardware failures, over heatings, blue screens of doom, no "Can not run '.program' because 'wtf'.dll can not be found FOR NO FUCKING REASON!!!

I gotta say the actual onscreen use of a mac isn't any different than a PC, in fact is better. Quieter, faster, shinier, more detailed, and best yet: INDUSTRY STANDARD! HAH!
because of me and Heather's side jobs as photographers, my love of 3D and her use of photoshop for school/fun it was just the best choice to get a mac.

Its like having sex with the future!

just kidin.

So I am here at work bored as hell. I managed to break the lock on the internet so I'm goofing off on DA. Looking up tattoo ideas and such. I just go a new tat on my inner forearm, a nautical star. I likes it. If you call it cliche I'll kick your teeth in... nah I'm just kidin again. I got all my tattoos touched up so they all look alot better, specialy my empirial dragon tat. I wan't more now 'cuase it seems I took the pain alot better now. Its my first color tattoo.

Anywho I was jumpin around on my lomography gallery and I noticed that no one has commented on anything. I mean its cool that no one has but it seems almost like no one has looked at it. I am really proud of the work so I was hoping to get my frieds' critiques.

Instead I am going to try the Lovecraft approach and and write a few short stories. Of which there will be a series on references and connections between the different evens.

Since I am home alone a lot now and freaked out of my whits because of all the Clive Barker and H.P. Lovecraft I been going through, I am going to spend my alone time writing, or at least trying to write, and hopefully get some good stuff out to my good deviants.

Growing up I didn't work much so I had little to no money and there for little to no cool stuff. So I have set out on a quest to get all the old Xbox, PS2, and Gamecube games I never had.

Thus far I have gotten my hands on an Xbox with 4 controllers and Munches Odyssey, Stranger's Wrath, Star Wars: Republic Commando (which F'ing RULES!!!), Fable, and Godzilla: destroy all monsters Melee (great for parties).

for the Playstation and PS2 I have managed to get Alone in the Dark, XIII, Shadow of the Colossus, Robopit and RoboPit2.

I love these games and I feel like I got a piece of me I lost being such a loner in middle school/High school. My Fiance treats me so well in giving me space and time to play these when I really want to. I just wanted to share this piece of my life 'cuase it reminds me of what a little thing like that can do to your mood and emotional health.

If anyone out there in deviant land knows of any old games I should try, let me know.

(donovan, I know, Custom Robo rules, but its hard to find for cheap. Lolz).
