So I played S.T.A.L.K.E.R today, on multiplayer.
It's pretty good, or at least weapon-wise. And dynamic weather effects and lighting is pretty good too.
I totally beat , 30-25. Miserable end.

Ok so here's how it goes.
Simpsons comes on at 6pm. Meanwhile I'm out of the room, and can bearly hear it.
I can however hear Bart and Homer talking and laughing at something.
Bart reads something and laughs. A MAD magazine quote.

At this point I know that MAD magazine leads to Bart's t-shirt "Down with home-work", which leads to school riot, which leads to new uniforms (the achromatic Mr Boy and Mr Boy for Girls). But that's only one of the plots, and there are always at least 2.

Then I remember Homer's "damn weiner kids" statement, in which Bart and Lisa are wearing said uniforms. And from that I know that the other half of the episode revolves around Homer's bowling team, the pin-pals.

Bart: These uniforms suck!
Marge: Bart! Where do you pick up words like that?
Homer: Yeah, Moe, that team sure did suck last night. They just plain sucked! I've seen teams suck before, but they were the suckiest bunch of sucks that ever sucked.
Marge: Homer! Watch your mouth!
Homer: Aw, I gotta go. My damn weiner kids are listening.
Lisa: We are not weiners!
Homer: Then what are you dressed like that for?
Bart+Lisa: They made us.
Homer: "Oh, they made us." That's loser-talk! You gotta start acting more like me and my team, the future champions of the world."

Great dialogue.
And I do that sort of thing for basically every episode. I less than three my Simpsons.



In other news, the Smash Brothers site didn't deliver much. Though it did give us a hueg list of composers and the menu theme, so that's nice. And supposedly it's being updated regularly, so it's something to keep an eye out for.

Meanwhile, I'm totally lazing up on dA. And my comic. It's like Brian with his novel.

You've probably seen them at some point.
At the shops. At your schooling facilities. Some teenagers eating them.
Those crazy gummi lollies.
Some sort of confectionary no doubt consisting of 150% and maybe some gelatin.
You've always wanted some, but never bothered getting any.

So today, I am hungry. I've had breakfast. I've had lunch. No wait, I haven't had lunch.
And that's the problem. I need something to snack on.
It's not like I have a large choice, either. Chips? Save them for TAFE. Biscuits? I've already had a bunch. But I'm still hungry. There must be something to eat.
But closer inspection reveals that there is nothing. Condiments and dinner recipes, but no real snack food.

Of course, there is the other cupboard. The cupboard used for holding various things, including the food saved for parties and other such things.
And lo and behold, a small selection. 3 boxes of Shapes, two barbeque and one pizza. Of course the natural obligation is to go for one of the barbeque ones. There would be one of each flavour left and everyone's happy.

But that's not it, yet. There's still a couple of large bags in the cupboard, being saved specifically for parties, whenever they should pop up.
At this point, I knew two things about these bags. They contained confectionary, and I was hungry. The latter isn't actually about the bags, but that's unimportant.
What is important is that I have made my choice. I rip open one of the bags and take out a handful of... plastic wrapped things.
Little plastic bags with somethings inside each ones... gummi treats!

At this point I have not had something gummi in many years, so the barbeque Shapes are way out of the picture by now. I quickly make away with my handful of individually wrapped sugar things, devouring them and enjoying their bizarre, squishy texture.

Maybe an hour passes. No lunch. Just gummi things. This is not enough to sustain any person.
So I go back for some more, and sit down at my computer and start eating. Eating and thinking.
Thinking about gummi, no less. There are many different brands of gummi treats.
One that comes to mind is Gummi, who may or may not have invented the name. They probably did.
"Could I beat eating Gummi treats?" I think to myself. I make no hesitation in investigating the brand name that I am gorging myself on.

Well, it ain't Gummi, that's for sure.
More accurately, it's "Sadi".
"Sadi? Who the hell is that?"

Now, I've lurked enough in life to identify Balinese text when I see it. Now I've nothing against Bali and its exports, but I make a note of being cautionary around Balinese food products. Why eat something that comes from overseas when I could eat something home grown?
Maybe it wasn't that, though, but the goofy babyfaced kid with "Friend*" on his t-shirt that put me off slightly.

But fair enough, I think between instances, it's gummi, regardless of its origins.
Of course, as I'm done thinking this, I can't help notice the small black vertical text next to the "Breakfast Gummy!" exclamation mark.

At this point, my expression has changed from its original "Yay, gummi!", and then "hmm, Bali", to its current, possible to describe but would detract from reading drama expression.

With in 24 hours, Blizzard will unveil their newest game. This is totally awesome, since Blizzard strive in making awesome things, ignoring WoW.

Also, between TAFE and TAFE, I've nary any time do work on comix. And that's terrible.
So after my character designs and storyboards and fake website are done, I'll finally get started.
Which is just as well. This comic series requires research. Research isn't fun. I mean sure, learning things is fun when they don't suck, but that's irrelevant.
