I fear though that university is taking up an awful lot of time again this semester and thus I have spent most of my days locked up and crouched over books in my room, while outside spring came and turned into early summer. Thus I fear: There will be no beautiful flower pictures this year - which annoys me a ton, believe me...
Picture taking has been going slow lately, but I hope to find some time for some cool summer pictures. Wish me luck.
I will not be able to visit often, so please don't be disappointed, if comments aren't responded to at once or I don't thank you for a fav you give me (I do that in advance here )...

TO get to a bit sadder topic, a lot of you people might have missed seeing me online and have wondered why I havn't uploaded any new pics lately, well - at the moment I have a lot of work to do for university: Another paper has been handed out and I've some trouble solving it... so I spent my days locked up in the library or my flat, reading, reading and then reading some more... As you might imagine there's not much time for picture taking because of that and to make matters worse the weather is horrible! It really shouldn't be snowing/raining all the time in March! >/ I hope to find a (sunny) day to take off from work soonish so that I can venture forth into the wild and take some pictures of the newly awakened nature... but work comes before the fun.
So until then I fear you'll have to wait for new pics and be content to look at some older ones.

The first pictures taken with my lovely, new Pentax are up and I hope you enjoy them. I think the cam was worth every penny! I'll upload some pictures from the first concert I shot with it in the next couple of days as well, cause I have to say I'm mightily pleased with how the pictures turned out.
The only thing that bothers me with the cam is that I can't zoom too far with the 18-55mm lense that I've got. After the 10x zoom I was used to have with my Lumix, I simply can't stand the feeling not to be able to take any closeup pictures anymore. So the next big investment I'll have to make in the next 6-12 months, will be buying a nice 70-200mm lense.
If any of you have advice which one I should get for my K10D, it is really appreciated.

I absolutely love it! It's all dark outside so I can't really take any pics yet, but I really can't wait to try it out.

Using a SLR is totally different from using an automatic camera, but it definately feels great to feel the weight and have some place to put your hands! ^^ I hope I'll learn how to use this beautiful camera soon.

So - at the beginning of December I can pick both my new babies up and a new era of photography will start for lil' ol' me - or at least I hope so. I'm really excited and happy about this best christmas present EVER that I'll give to myself. Can't wait to show you my first results.

University has started again, so classes and studying are taking up a lot of my time recently and I can't be online too much. Actually, I'm at university right now, but I'm too lazy/tired to study, so I thought I should finally reply to all the kind messages and faves I got (thanks sooo much everybody! It feels awsome to see that one's work is appreciated. ). I still have 400 or so deviations to look through, so please don't be mad at me, if I don't post a reply to each of the new pics you've uploaded, I'll do my best to comment on most of them.
Anyway, else there's nothing really new here, I've caught a bit of a cold and managed to cut another finger (left hand again - though it's the middle finger and not the thumb this time), luckily without severing any nerves though.
So, I should be going to my next lecture, but I'll try to be online again soon.

Then, I'm sorry I havn't been around and have kept you guys waiting for ages till I replied to your comments in the last weeks... I've been really busy with univeristy (exams to pass, papers to write, the usual...) and then I moved house, so that took some time and energy. Now I'm in my lovely new flat... boxes are still stacked everywhere, but the coffee machine works and I've internet at last, so I'm back - more or less. I just have a traineeship now, but that's just 3 hours monday to thursday, so it's not too much work.

My birthday went well and I feel very old now! *g* My parents and grandma bought me a washing machine that'll arrive on Friday and I can't wait to be able to wash my clothes without driving the 200+km to my parent's house! ^^ It'll be wonderful.

I also started ballet again, which I'm most excited about, cause it's been at least 5-6 years, if not 10, that I danced. It's fun, if very tiring, but I think I'll keep it up and go regularily.


Else there's not too much new really... Today is the first lovely day after about a week of rain, so I'm thinking about going out and taking picutres of my new surroundings. Let's see if I can move my lazy backside out there into the sun, or if I'll watch the "Troy director's cut" instead. *g* You'll know shortly (cause if I go, there'll be no pic up! *hehe*).
