My husband got some crappy news today. Turns out the guy he has been working for for a couple years doesn't have any money to pay him, or the other employees. In fact, the last paycheck he got from them bounced, causing us all kinds of problems. And the boss man doesn't know when he'll be able to pay him. The company seems to be going under, with no credit lines, no savings, and clients that are refusing to pay. So, we have maybe a couple weeks to find some way to float ourselves, before we begin defaulting on bills and the mortgage. I definitely do not want to go down that road and lose our house.

So, if there is -anything- in my gallery that you would be interested in prints of, please let me know. Comments here are fine, or notes, if you want something made into a print.

And, if you could spread the word around that I'll be offering prints, and point people towards my Etsy shop, where i'll be putting up new originals for sale, i would be greatly appreciative. I would do commissions, but I don't feel very confident in my abilities with that right now, since i've never done them before.

My traditional art is not to be used in any way without my express written permission. No tubing, cropping, editing, re-posting, claiming as your own, heavily referencing, printing and selling, etc. All copyrights are reserved.

As for the photos, i don't mind if they are used as reference for art as long as it's not just digitally enhancing, adjusting color or contrast, cropping, or something else like that. No cop-outs by just tweaking something small and then claiming it as your own.

If you -do- happen to use my photos for inspiration or reference, all i ask as that you give me credit for the reference, a link back, and a link to your art so i can see what cool thing you've made, ok?

It's been a really hectic few months, I finally found a decent job, and we've been doing house projects, visiting people, having people visit here, etc. So, apologies for not having much traditional art to show you at the moment. I've been taking photos still, but i don't often have the time i want to work on my paintings. I do have a big one in the works, though. IF i ever decide i like it well enough, I'll take a picture and share it. That's the problem i have with working so big, i don't have a decent way to scan it, and photos usually end up pretty crappy looking. Ah well.

i have pictures of each of them individually if anyone's interested. just note me.

I am pondering selling them, or possibly trading them for something... Specifically i'm thinking about those awesome people who do custom pony re-dos.. maybe they would like to have these guys.

I'm in the process of getting some pictures uploaded, which i will put into scraps and link to shortly. There are 20 in all, with one of the breyers having it's back legs broken off from the knee down, two of the MLP's being dog-chewed and thus headless/otherwise damaged, and three random toy horses that are fairly mangled, but fine for use as a base to build something else. Otherwise, they are all in excellent-good shape, some with typical played-with scuffs and hair tangles.

Maybe i'll put them on ebay.

Anyway, if any of you know someone who would like some ponies and horses for customization, or just for collecting, please let me know, or have them contact me.

Or, if there are trading posts for such things, i'd appreciate a link to those, also.

This is kind of exciting.. So far all i have up there are some little birds, but i hope to get some older works up there for sale soon. I have a bunch of ideas for new stuff, if i can find the time to sit and make art. Soon, i hope.

Uploading another batch of random photos... I hope no one minds that i take way more photos than i make traditional art. ~sigh~ I just don't have a lot of inspiration or time lately, and i ruined the last watercolor painting i was doing for myself. Maybe if i knew how to paint digitally i could scan it and fix it, but i don't.

I decided to go back to school last year, so i've been really busy. I'll be graduating as a Certified Massage Therapist in just a couple weeks. Then to take licensing exam. Woot. And now the hunt for a real job (TM) begins again. And then, i turn into an old lady of thirty at the end of the month. Doooooom. ~shakes fist~

I'm still painting a ton of little birdies. Might post some more of those soon.

This year will bring even more change. I am going back to school, teaching myself things that are sacred and important, and trying to rekindle the creative fires. Change is happening. Evolution is inevitable. I will do the best I can, and continue becoming ever more true to myself.

In more mundane news, I got a camera for the holidays, so I am probably going to inundate my gallery with photos, until I get back on the physical media horse.

Gotta figure this new gallery thing out... it's been a long time.

It may be depression related. It might be tied to lack of sleep. But all i know is i have art i need to make, and i can't force myself to do it.

Advice on overcoming fear of making art, and finding the energy to do it even if one does not want to is -greatly- appreciated.
