Hello everyone

Well, since I have this new awesome journal I just love writing these, so I want to simply announce that I'm finally done with all photographs from summer and that finally autumn is arriving on my deviantART page as well. It has been long awaited, yes.

I must drag your attention to the newly placed "2009. December "View of your Eyes" Feature" which might get taken down due to only one person entering.
I'll see if it'll be worth holding at the end

About my dA account: many gallery browsers have been added to promote my gallery collections/folders and then, the important part - yours! My favorite faving collections are being now showcased on my profile which includes the Animal Photography and Nature Photography. Also, the Random Favorites showcasing area is still here, so that others of my collections get time to be seen.
Also I've added the shoutbox for you to enjoy, although you don't really seem to like it and the visitors box which really gives me more use of it then my page viewers do.
And the thing I want to get your attention on most is the poll box, where I have an interesting question about my art going on so please vote if you have the time to push a few buttons

And a new devID, but that's not so important.

Journals? I am looking for quality journal codings from all over dA. As I have no problem to make the layout/to "skin" them myself, I'm just looking for a high quality CSS code that might have a scrollbox or/and a few more boxes than just one...? If any of you know of a such great journal code, feel free to post here or note me, or e-mail me, anything

I've started a new way of promoting my deviations! All newest ones are promoted on my Facebook account and in the ThumbShare forum.
I thank ALL my newest (and the old) devWATCHERS for their watches, it's greatly appreciated!

And about the camera, I've decided to go with Canon EOS 1000D, because it's affordable and it's good for a starter photographer like myself. Thank you all for your help on this topic.

I have also entered a contest being held by the European Delegation Commission and you can find more info on it here, but it's on Croatian so I don't believe many of you will understand what it says. None of the entries can be found on dA at this point, but they will in the close future
The results of it are being posted tomorrow

Do you really take a look at my newest deviation every time you see a new one posted?

Well, from the last time I added two or three new photographers from Croatia to my devWATCH list
Now I'm off in the waters to find my own camera. I decided to go with some of Canon's models.
The three finalists are:
Canon 1000D, Canon EOS 50D and Canon EOS 5D Mark II. The last two are a huge financial step while 1000D is kinda affordable for my age. I'm lost... I'll start doing more research on the 1000D.

What do you think about Canon 1000D?
All opinions are welcome. I'm specially interested in it's macro possibilities and quality.

The good news is that I got the LG KP502 (LG Cookie) a few weeks ago, and it's a great phone, maybe a little bit slow, but great
The bad news is that tomorrow (1st of August) I'm leaving for my vacation (yay, summer time!) and I don't know when I'll be back. Not before 30th of August, I think.

Where do you spend your summer breaks?
I'll spend them on a new and on the old place this summer. I'll go to an island on the Adriatic Sea and then I'll go to my grandmother's summerhouse, just around 5 hours of boat ride from the island I'll be on first.

I'm taking the camera with me because I've heard that Austria's nature is beautiful. I'm hoping to get some nice shots there, especially sunsets

Have you ever been to Austria?
If you did, how was it? Is it really as pretty as I heard?

About my dA account: well, there's nothing new to be said about it, though I'm pretty sure that before a day or two I knew exactly what to write here I have added special description to all contest art. I like the new descriptions because they really promote the host and the contest itself in it. They have detailed and tidy informations + other things that I personally need the art to have in it's description. It was kinda hard to edit them all and write special descriptions for each, but it was definitely worth it.

Also I will probably re-arrange my favorites and allow all types of art to be ed and corectfully categorized. Usually most of different favs were going to the "Uncategorized favorites" category, and that really isn't fair.

Also, I would like to get all the help possible on the subject of PRINTS? I have a deviation which got a print request, but I want to find out more about it from the people who are having some pieces of art available in prints, all help appreciated, welcome, and much needed

On my PC in their folder they are beautiful and clean, and here on DA they turn ugly and blurry! Is it just my computer or is it like that for everyone?

Also, as you might have already seen, I have changed my way of creating photomanipulations. I'm no longer going to merge a couple of images together (two or three, like I used to) or just change the color of it all... the first deviation that's created like this is "Spotlight Jealousy" [link] and another one has been finished but since no stock was used I'm waiting for the artist's approvals for the images used...

I also hope you liked the winter snow photographs, they were not quite as ed and looked at as I hoped they will...

It finally snowed today here and I woke up early, took the camera and just ran outside to the lake Jarun and took a lot of pictures!

I'm really proud at this rout of pictures, they turned out well.

My Photomanipulation inspiration is 0.5 (if not less) but my Photographing ideas are just bursting (10.00) but I don't have a camera of my own...

I am willing to provide non-watermarked photographs for manipulations - if wished.

EDIT at 21.43: copyright icons added in the artist's comments to some images that are dear to me. I might consider returning the non-watermarked ones now when the icon is here, but I doubt it. Thieves can ignore the icon and take the picture anyway, so I'll probably be keeping the watermarks.

I really must grab someone's camera and go somewhere in the nature.
I'm considering adding more photos on winter breaks if there will be snow.
Otherwise I probably won't add some special autumn/winter photographs.

I have also organized my Favorites and Gallery into sections which (should) make browsing a bit easier. I have made those browse folders, or whatever their name is (Devious Folder or something).

I am very happy with the amount of favorites and comments I have gotten in the previous two or three days and all I have to say is: Just keep it coming!

I also found a huge amount of terrific Deviations, and some of them can be found in my Favorites (I really have to sort out my collection tab xD). Can't wait to browse trough the animal photography/drawings sections. If I do that there will be so many favorites in just 5 seconds, LOL.

I hope you like some of my photo manipulations too, I might also upload some of the headers that I made for my blog (some of them are really nice). Don't know how life would be "hard" without Photoshop.
