World of Wind:

A girl's life is thrown into a ancient conflict, as her world slowly crumbles away. Unusual alliances and unforseen betrayals force her into a journey for the truth, only to discover the dark secrets hidden in the past, and the sole purpose for the planet's last struggle for salvaion for the future. The painful sacrifices she made, however, will ultimately bring the true evil to ultimate fruition.

Most of my work for this has been done in traditional working. (I keep it in a lab book. Historycharactersweaponsitemsstoryeveryt hingrelatedtoit.) I'll try to relay the information when I'm a bit more jovinal and blissful.
------------------------------------------
Once again I'm going to as to bounce ideas about a few things about gaming off of you guys.

A RPG Battle system - I tried to mix up a few elements from Star Ocean 3 and FFXII and Shadow Hearts. All battles are held on the same map of travel. No ATBs or stuff like that. all real time. Fighting consists of "Styles" of attacks, or basicly small attacks you can chain to the X,O and Square buttons. (Using Playstation setting as i'm familiar with them) Try to think as O as a thrust and X as a slash with a sword, etc. You cannot use the same attack twice in a row, so it has to be like X,O,X or O,X,Square or Square,X,O, and so on and so forth.

Now, every character has a combo limit, in which, is a limit in how many attacks a character can do before delivering a final blow. (So we have a character with a CL of 3. they do two strikes with the three attack buttons and despite which button they press next in the combo they'll do a final blow which often will send a oppenent off balance or knock them back.)

So Let me try to tie it in together so far. We have Rikard, a fighter who uses his mechanical arm as a weapon. His Attack "Styles" are as follows:

Square = Elbow strike
X = A downward swinging hook
O = a backhand strike from right to left.

He has a combo limit of 5, so I can strike with four of these attack in any order i want as long as I don't repeat the same attack twice in a row before doing a final blow, which is a uppercut.

Moving on, Skills are assigned to one of the 3 buttons and to use them, you press the corrisponding attack button a R1 or R2 shoulder button. (This makes 6 skills total to have on one character. Skills are not overly important and arn't really easy to spam.)

The characters run speed once battle commenses will change form their run speed when they are not in battle. (Everyone has the same run speed outside of battle, but in battle it changes, most likely all of them are usally faster than the run speed outside of battle.) There are 4 characters on the field at once. and can be changed out at anytime. (The character being changed out will often run away to the outskirts of the battle area and then the other character will come in. you can change out fatiuqed characters (Fatigued characters = K.O condition), but they take a lot longer to get up and go out away from the battle to change.)

Items have to be equipped and put on characters. there is a main "Inventory", in which it is a NPC that pertains to the storyline and helps you out by carrying stuff your characters arn't carrying.

Guarding is done by the L1 button. some attack can be blocked with a guard and others can't. Either the attack isn't strong (not damage based strength) enough and the attacker stagger, in which the character can quickly strike with a counter attack with any of the three buttons (the counter attack "Style" will be the same no matter what you press), the character staggers, but the attack still doesn't go through, or the attack is strong enough that it breaks the guard ofthe character and they take the damage.

Evasion is done with the L2 button and a directional press in a direction that your target is not in. so basicly backwards or left or right. (The game works on targeting. you automaticly target a enemy when you enter battle. chaning Targets works by pressing the triangle (Which is the menu) button and then pressing Square and changing between targets and confirming. (The menus outside and inside battle change. The player has the option of "Active" battle or "Wait" battle, in which the battle either contiunes even with the menu up or pauses.))

THe battle menu brought by the triangle button allows you to change targets (Or target an enemy walking around that you haven't engaged yet and waiting and striking them by rushing in behind them or hiding behing a rock and ambushing them. catching foes off guard flusters them. however enemies can ambush you too.), give commands to use skills or items or change stategies of the AI controlled allies, or use a item or switch out assigned skills and "styles".

Running away is simple. give the command in the menu to flee and th...

FURK YEA AMEERRICA.

Anywho, I poofed from reason of my own, mostly for College. First off, I have to say that College is great. I'm liking it a lot. With a move and house renovation on top of first quarter, it looks like I'm going to skit by with a 2.5 GPA.

NEXT, I deleted most of my work because of out of date issues and just plain suck. Then again this is prolly as about as apperant as the sky is blue.

AND THEN, I've cleared out of journals and 5/6s of my friendslist. However most people who I talked to way back when more than on occasion are still on my list.

So yea. Happy Turkey Day to you all.
