Today I found out that I got accepted to Stockholms University. :D The course I'm going to study is "Film studies" and that was my first hand choice, so I'm very happy! :w00t:

And I don't have to leave home, it only takes 20 minutes by train to get there, so that's good too.

Tomorrow I will leave for a week and visit some of my relatives. They live in Sweden too, but it's a five hours drive north to get there.

I’m both happy and sad at the same time. Sad because I’m going to miss my class mates and some of my teachers, and happy because I’ve finished school!

At first we took some person portraits and then some pictures of the whole class. We had “a meeting” with our teacher and then a final lunch. Then there was a program in the lecture hall where some of the teachers performed :) And then we ran out on a platform outside school were family and friends waited :)

Here in Sweden it’s a tradition to ride on a lorry platform and shoot beer over each other (and listen to very high music of course, haha! :D) So we did that too, naturally! Do you have that tradidtion somwhere else? :) I got really wet, not just because of the beer, but it was raining too. It was very cold and windy.

And then I had a reception where friends and relatives came. :) Some of them I hadn’t seen in years. It felt a bit strange to be the centre of it all and get gifts from everyone, but good too. :D

Along with other things I got jewellery, some cookware, and a gift check for massage and quite a lot of money. But the best gift of all was that me and my brother got a trip to Barcelona from our parents!! :D I didn’t see that one coming at all! We're going all four on Sunday :)

On the evening we went to a club :) To summarize it all it was a wonderful day (exept for the lousy weather)! :w00t:

I came home from Rome 4 days ago. I had a great time! :dance: I didn't want to home! It was so wonderful to feel the warmth of the sun and to see the flowers and green trees. :rose: I thought that the spring had come to Sweden too, but obviously not, there was a snow storm today. I was covered in snow by the time I got home...

The first day in Rome we visited the Roman Forum (which is remains from the antique Rome), Colosseum and Palatine Hill (which is one of the seven hills of Rome).

The second day we went to EUR which Mussolini build during the facist regime, and after that we whent to the Vatican city and st Peter's Basilica.

We saw many other things, but these are the most famous ones. :)

I hope that you all are well :)

First, I would like to tell you about "Earth Hour" which is one hour when you should turn off all your electical equipment. The reason for it is to make all the politicians and other people who are leaders to concider the environment, which we all should do :) Without the environment WE can't live.

The idea comes from WWF and it's on Saturday 28th (in March). In GMT (Greenwitch Mean Time) It's 19:30 - 20:30, so in Sweden it's 20:30 -21:30. You can check out your time here: [link] and read about it here: [link] It's imoprtant that as many as possible is doing it. Your actions count! :w00t:

There are many things you can do; you can tell each other ghost stories, hold someones hand etc :)

Secondly I'm going to Rome with my class on Sunday!! :dance: It's going to be so much fun! :D We will be there for five days, and look at architecture and museums and such, but in the evenings we will be free :) I've been looking forward to this for more than a year, and now it's time. Finally! :)

Finally I have something to write about again ;) I'll start in chronological order. Last Wednesday I cut and dyed my hair! Before I had fairly long hair, a bit longer than to the collar bones and it was dark blonde. Now it only goes halfway down on the neck and it's dark brown with a red tone. I'm really happy with it :D The colour will disappear after a month or someting like that, but anyway...

Last Friday I was at the "House of Culture" in Stockholm. At school I study a program called "the cultural line" and for that reason my class were volunteers at the "Night of the House of Culture". :dance: At that night lots of artists is invited and band played, circus artist ran around and perormed everywere in the house, you could try out different dances and watch short movies. My class helped the artists out with different things such as guarding their dressing rooms, refilling water, watched over the stages etc. It was great fun!! :D

Last thing I want to menton is that on this Monday (20th of October) Viggo Mortensen turned 50!! :airborne:

I really like him, he is so modest and such a true arist in every way. He has a great respect for all living things and don't like the spotlight. I have much respect ofr him :) And on top of that he is a great actor and attends in wonderful movies!! :claps: He is also intesessted in politics. Look at this: [link] I totally agree with him. One thing only, I'm not an american ;)

So this was my first day in school, so I thougt it would be a good idea to summarise my holiday. :icq: the first couple of weeks I was just at home, and the weather was nice. For two weeks 2/7 - 16/7 I was in Spain, wich was great! :) We stayed in a town called Empuriabrava wich was close to the border of France, so some of the days we drove in to France and Andorra. The mountains was amazing!:sun:

A couple of days later I whent to Estonia, to the island Vormsi (Ormsö in swedish), where my family is building a house! My grandfather is born on Vormsi but during world war 2 he and his family fled to Swden and today we have land there again. This was the first time we had a house, wich was great! The other years we cleard out some of the wood and made a road.

After that I was home alone for a week, and after that i whent to Malmö with my friend Anna, who is also a deviant (annipannipytti). We had a great time. One day we whent to Copenhagen and rode some rollercoasters! :w00t:

The second last week I worked at a bakery. I worked there last summer as well.

It feels good that school has started, even if i wish that the holiday had been a bit longer... :P. This is my last year! This spring I will graduate! I have many new teachers and new subjects wich will be interesting.

And the last thing I want to say is: CONGRATULATIONS ANNA!!:airborne: She's going 19 today :)

Finally my scanner is working again. :w00t: I hope it will stay that way. The funny thing is that when we tried to fix it, it would not work. But now, when no one has messed with it for a while it works! Strange... =P

That's not all! I've begun with a new painting :) It was a looong time since I did anything like that, but now I fell some inspiration once more. I just hope I will have the patience to finish it :)

Today my grandfather is going to have an operation. He has had cancer in his stomach. The last time ha had an operation (last summmer) he was confused for days because he has got Alzheimers and he got very skinny... So Im a bit worried... :(

But I dont have to study all day! because today is my friend Jennifers 18th birthday! :w00t: So Im going to spend the evening at her place :)
