in this Journal I want to tell you something about a new little project made in Germany.

Jedoch war wohl der "Obama-Hype" in Dresden am stärksten.
In der sächsischen Landeshauptstadt galt die höchste Sicherheitsstufe, die Dresden bisher erlebte. Egal ob am Flughafen Dresden- International in Dresden- Klotzsche oder bis ins Zentrum der Stadt, konnte man dem riesigen Polizeiaufgebot begegnen.

Vor dem Eintreffen des Barack Obama gab es eine Vielzahl an Spekulationen, wann er denn eintreffen würde, welchen Straßenweg er nutzen würde oder ob er per Hubschrauber anreisen würde......

Daher wurden auch Straßen gesperrt, die von den amerikanischen Limousinen nicht genutzt wurden- eben aus Sicherheitsgründen.

Insgesamt 10 Minuten brauchte der "Mr. President" vom Flughafen zum Hotel. Der normale Bürger würde mit dem Pkw mehr als 30 Minuten brauchen.

Dresden richtete für den Präsidenten eine "Welcome Party " auf dem historischen Altmarkt aus. Doch diese fand außerhalb der Sicherheitszone statt, daher ist fraglich, ob Obama überhaupt davon erfahren hat, was da für ein Spektakel statt fand.

Dresden ist natürlich nicht nur eine interessante Stadt für Politiker, sondern eine Stadt der Künste, der Wissenschaften, der Wirtschaft und vor allem eine Stadt der Kulturen und der Symbole.

Alles in allem eine Reise wert.

Thats great because Dresden was an important City in history and is it now also.

People know the Church "Frauenkirche" and maybe the Opera "Semperoper". But this nice City is more. More than 500 000 inhabitants live here. Dresden has one of the most modern traffic systems in Europe.

The question of architecture is a bit complicated but one of the topics in the cute art city.
