Tonight's Xmas Eve

And what are your plans for Christmas?

We're gonna have nice dinners and my brother and his girlfriend are coming to visit.

And another thing: I've weighed myself again.
I've now lost officially 14 kilo aka 30.8 lbs. (sounds so much better in lbs)
I now weigh 92 kilo.

It's going slow for me now. From 3 kilo per month to 1 kilo.
But the best thing is that I'm still losing weight and not gaining any.
But that will change with the upcoming Xmas diners. But my mom promised me that we're going to eat anything heavy. Thanks mum!

Now I want to give some tips for everyone else who's losing weight.
There'll come a time you'll stand still and keep the same weight.
I had that just now and when that happens, you mustn't think you're doing anything wrong.
Your body is just changing and is busy finding balance.

And another thing you must never forgot:
Muscles weigh MORE than fat.
If you're excersizing, you're burning your fat and creating muscles.

And even if your weight is still the same, it doesn't mean your body isn't changing.
I kept doing my excersizes, I did stay on the same weight, but my body became slimmer.

My pants are now SO a size too BIG!
Just like my shirts.

I need to buy new clothes

YAY!

Now excuse me, I'm gonna watch Home On The Range which is now on the telly.
Awesome movie! I love it when the cows end up in a field filled with bulls

and I love the buffalo.

OH MY GOD!!
THERE'S NOW TWICE AS MUCH SNOW AS THERE WAS YESTERDAY!!

My entire window is white of snow.
I was so surprised when I opened my window. I couldn't see a thing.

But better yet:
SNOW FREE!!!!

I don't have to go to work today!

I did was halfway already when work called me and said "You better go home. There's no one at the office. Everyone's working at home."
I knew it! I had to go home when I heard that there were hardly any trains today.

And they say there's going to be more snow tomorrow!
So maybe I'm tomorrow free too.

Thank God I managed to get home. I almost slipped from the stairs of the station today.
But I managed to keep my balance

I now got more time to work on personal things. Yay!

For Dutch people. English readers go down
Oke, ik heb dus net die Nederlandse special van de Simpsons gezien.
Ik zeg alvast, maar goed dat het eenmalig is

, maar voor dit ene keertje was het wel geinig.
Veel stemmen pasten wel niet bij de karakters. Bart klonk zo oud.
De enige goeie vond ik Marge van Katja Schuurman.

Maar een ding begrijp ik niet.
Met deze twintigste verjaardag trekken ze alle BN'ers te voorschijn, maar toen die grote film kwam hebben ze doorsnee stemacteurs eruit getrokken voor de Nederlandse versie. Voor de kleintjes.
Ik weet het, de Simpsons in het Nederlands is helemaal bagger, maar ik vraag me toch af waarom ze niet dezelfde moeite hebben gedaan voor de film?

Dat was toch ook zo'n wereldwijd groot spektakel? Of niet dan?

English
Because of the Simpsons 20th anniversary, Dutch Comedy Central broadcasted a Dutch version of a Simpsons-episode. For one time only.
With famous Dutch celebrities, actors and normal voice actors.

I've seen it and I have to say... It... was different.
English is WAY better, but it was funny to see them in Dutch.
All voices so didn't match the characters. The only good Dutch voice was Marge.

But there's one thing I didn't quite get.
They got all these famous people for this one episode, but for that Simpsons-movie, they got all these plain voice actors.
Of course, The Simpsons sounds way better in English than Dutch, but why not getting famous actors for the movie too?

It's snowing! YAY!
I missed snow!

And I was allowed to leave earlier from work thanks to the snow.

And besides that... IT'S FREEZING COLD!!!
My toes are freezing off!
But one word of advice for this cold; BUY a multifunctional scarf!

I have mine, you know that one with the big mouth, and it's perfect to cover my ears!
It's so nice and warm.
And I still wear it. Even inside the house. It's so comfy

I love winter. It's my favorite season.

Oooookaaaay, that was different.

You all I'm busy loosing weight, right?
Now it really starts to show and it also means I have to buy new clothes.

And it's obvious that my mom loves that part. She loves going clothes shopping with me.
Especially now I'm getting a new figure

But hear this...
She was looking in my Attitude Holland-magazine for fun, came to me and said "I think this would look fantastic on you."
And guess what she was pointing at?

Corsets & Underbusts!
She's trying to talk me into a corset or an underbust!

I have NEVER thought of myself wearing a corset.
And I never expected my mom trying to get me into one.
Maybe it's because my mom's also a bit in that kind of stuff. She always loves to look at the gothic dresses, but she's sure she's not the type for one.
But that doesn't stop her wearing other kind of stuff

I was really speechless and was staring at her like "Who? Me? Are you talking to me?"
I don't really have a figure for a corset right now.

But after getting over the little surprise, I am willing to try a corset.
When I loose a bit more weight.
I'm going the right way, but I now must be more careful, because of the upcoming holidays.

I'm gonna weigh myself right before Xmas and after the holidays, I'm gonna work hard again to loose everything I gained again.

I've finally seen Paranormal Activity.
I couldn't see it before thanks to my work and Sinterklaas.

Remember my last poll, asking what horror situation was the scariest?

Well, 55% is scared of situations where you hear all kinds of things, but can't see the danger.
And in this movie, you hear everything, but don't see anything!

And it was a pretty scary movie. Not a long one.
It's exactly like in the style of The Blair Witch Project.
So not much action, so if you're into that, then it's no movie for you, but if you want a "calm" scary movie, then I can recommend it to you.

There really were moments I jumped up in my chair because of a sudden loud noise.

En hoe was pakjesavond voor mijn mede Sinterklaas-vierders?

I had a splendid evening for this year's Sinterklaas.
First "gourmetten", cooking for yourself on a cooking plate at the dining table.
We had all this delicious little snacks, like little burgers and pieces of fish. We even could make omelettes with cheese. Yummy.
Best were the little pizza burgers. Little hamburgers with cheese and paprika. Like a pizza.
Man, those things were good!
If you ever happen to find such burgers, buy them! They're delicious!

And I burned myself on the cooking plate when I wanted to place a little hamburger on it. On my left index finger. It's a little spot, but it hurted a lot. That's gonna be a blister in the morning.
And when my mom was making an omelette for herself. Every omelette became like a little balloon and became bigger and bigger. But did not exploded.

And then ice cream as dessert and then the best part.
Presents!

While watching Madagascar 2. Nice movie!
I got a new pair of PJ pants (which I really needed. Especially in this upcoming winter. My legs are freezing off every night), a pretty book I can write in, the BFG movie (Big Friendly Giant of Roald Dahl) and a book about drawing perspective.
Perfect!
Now I only need a book about drawing vehicles!
Maybe for Christmas

And I went for surprise gift hunt for my parents.
I bought Earth for my dad and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button for my mom. They both love their gifts.

And now we have to make everything ready for Christmas

What will be fun too!

And it f*ckin' rocked!!

I watched it yesterday with my Dutch TMNT buddies, holding our very own little TMNT premiere

We had SO much laughs!
And the end was ultimate epic win!
Especially the very, very last seconds. Those who've seen the movie know what I mean

God, how the 80's turtles were. So frikkin' hilarious!

I so hope Nickelodeon is gonna bring them out on DVD. I want to own the movie! Plus the 12 minutes extra which'll be on it

Just as I thought. They did NOT get permission to use this pic by *pallottili

with an article about spanking kids in France.

I've told her about it and she clearly wasn't happy with it and seeing she's Italian and I doubt she can speak Dutch, I took the liberty to call the newspapers on her behalf.
I got a friendly man on the phone and I told them they didn't have permission to use this pic.
We both were very polite and reasonable and the man apologized and said to me he'll remove the picture and "spank" the person who has put the picture on the site.
That's what I wanted to hear and that's the behavior I expected from a national newspaper.

If you click on the link now below in my first report, you'll see it has been removed.

I've also told him that it's unacceptable to just take pictures from art communities, because everything what's in any community is private property!
Permission must always be asked first!
I do the same work and I have to follow the exact same rules!
And I expect from the big newspapers, worldwide and national, to give the right example.
You may only use pictures from the press, in the archive or official things, like logo's and posters. That's okay, but not things that clearly are private property like private photos and art.

Heheheh, and now this national newspaper has been scolded by someone of a local newspaper

It's about a law in France to make spanking kids illegal.

I first found it funny that they used this DBZ pic, but I hope for them they got permission, because I've learned here that you just can't randomly take a picture of the internet.
We sometimes had complains of people, who requested to remove pics, because they didn't agree to be used for an article and from people who were on photos, but they didn't had given any permission to the photographer to be published on the internet.

Photographers of newspapers/magazines must always ask permission first, before taking pictures of people or something.

Most of the time it's okay, but it's best to ask permission first. You never know.
