OK, news from the kaiju on the Hudson.

1. apparently I'm not the only "monster" on or in the Hudson (in because I do have to bath ya know). According to a mural in the town of Poughkeepsie there a river serpent that lives in the river; supposedly a big ass one at that. The mural depicts a creature with a long water wyrmish body and a head that suspiciously looks like thatof a sturgeon.
Sturegon- N. an exceptionally large freshwater fish that produces caviar and is ugly as hell.
Not suprising since this fish species was about as common here in the old old days (pre1980) but this makes me feel a bit red since I'm not the only feared big critter in the region. I MUST HUNT DOWN THIS FISHY AND TAKE IT'S CROWN! >.=.<

2. Commissions: Becky B (done and on my FA apge) TF is on indefinate hiatus until I figure out who the hell I was to do it for Rayteh/Rose is.... getting on it nowish.

3. I still need to get a life. if anyone sees an ad for a life on the cheap (hell even preowned at this point) notify me at once!

4. On a completely separate issue I'd debating about how abouts I'm gonna plan my trip to Anthrocon next year. I'm debating whether or not getting a double soon and seeing if I can sell out the other side for anyone else traveling solo.

Anyways I've had a slight change in scenery in the past two weeks. I've moved from my brightly lit dorm room at the CIA for a dimly lit dungeon cell at the Philiadelphia Country Club. On one scaley paw I had a great view of the Hudson, on the other I'm making a ton of money. Meh, I'll be back in my old dorm soon enough once I complete my extership at the PCC. So updatewise... I have no updates... and I probably won't be updating for a good while since I'm working +50 hours a week; but here's hoping that I'll get some art time in.

So, if you live in the Philadelphia area and you see me then take me to your home and feed me or something. Or at least tell me what sights I should be seeing. Anyways, ta-ta, auf wiedersan, goodbye, and whatever else means later and hope I don't get hit by a bus.

Well it appears that I got off my bum, or is it sat down on my bum?, and drew something worthwhile. This is the masked version of my evil alter ego; for more info read the notes under both Grendle images. Although it may not seem like it to some I have a pretty rough schedule and bad time management so I'm not sure when my next update would be. Hopefully I can do something this week, buuuut.... no promises. Next weekend is going to be interesting due to the fact I have to hit the sack at 5-ish to wake up for class at 2am.

1] What is your pen name?
I have teo pen names, and depending on who you are you will know me either as Grendle or Macrokaiju. Grendle is my origional pen name I used when I made comics and it's stuck to me.

2] How did you get the name?
I stole the name from Grendel (spelled el no le) from Beowulf cause it sounded cool. And he was a evil alter ego character.

3] Do you use PC or Mac?
PC, I hate Macs, unless it's a Big Mac. mmmmm.....

4] What software you use most often?
Netscape, photoshop elements, iTunes, and Windows media veiwer

5] Do you use mouse, or tablet?
Neither, I use the fingerpad on my laptop. IT SUCKS!!!!!

6] The color you use most often is?
I like black and just about every color looks good with it

Um, the character or object in the foreground. I'm lazy and not too good with backgrounds

Hours, almost an entire day IF everythign goes right.

uh, sometimes... usually my ideas come from sketches on my class folders.

Well I officialy started classes today at the CIA. Not Central Intelligence Agency, not Cleveage Inspection Agency, and certainly not the Chicken Insergent Activity Comission; it's the good ol Culinary Institute of America. Yep, your freind the MK is training to become a chef.

I'm not sure how long it will be until my next update because all the classes here are on a 3 week roataion; thusly it's a very wonky schedule. But don't worry, I'll get something up soon, till then you can probably catch me around the Anthro Artist Cafe... that is when I'm not buried with homework or biking 7 miles to the nearest shopping center. Ok, I uploaded a new super cool-like logo for myself. I modified my basic Germanic cross logo into something a bit more dragonic. I came up with this design a little while back and thougth it'd be a good logo for the villians in my manga story, being that they worship dragons too.

Ok, next project will be some more of myself so that I can work out a few bugs in my character design. I'll also start revamping an old pic of mine of a dragoness posing on the hood of a mustang. I'm sure you'll like it when I finish it up. Till next time.
