Well, pretty much, I've just been out living my life! =] It's going amazingly well, too.

I have an amazing boyfriend now, loads of new friends, and I'm in a drum corp. =]

Just got home from a prom last night, and school is out in 6 weeks, nothing could be better!

So I'll try to get on here more often, but I'm really busy with band and stuff. I'll try to post some pictures though. :]

Lets start at the begining...Last time I posted was in March, wow, I have a lot to say then...
Well, March 31 was my 15 birthday, wewt! One more year older. =] That was rather uneventful, some friends came over and we swam. Parents forgot about what I wanted, so I didn't get anything from the family, but I guess I don't mind. =] They buy me food ,thats ALL I need, lmao! :lmao:
All through March I had band competetions and rehearsals to get ready for Washington DC in May. It was hard, but worth it, cause our trip went great! It was exciting beyond all beleif, playing in the Kennedy Center!! :faint: But SO nerve wraking. I had several solos, and when we went on stage for our warm up, I literally had a panic attack, our teacher had to get me to calm down. XD Our full orchestra went first in the concert...I'm section leader and first chair, there. We did AMAZING!!! One of our songs opened with a trumpet duet, and the judges said that we were some of the best trumpet players our age they had ever heard..! =] We really did do wonderful. We did great for the band, too. We performed somewhere towards the middle. We got the top score of the night!!! =D :dance: My solos went great, I think..other than one, but I'll get depressed if I talk about that.. >_>''' I went really flat on on of the notes, but that is just me beinf terribly picky, lol.
May was kind of a study for finals month, nothing of interest to put up here other than all of my friends turning on me. D= I was left friendless for a while, but I've gotten new friends now.
June....Ugh. Full of Summer school, sarcasm, and learning....and World of Warcraft, haha. :heart:
July...! The only good month as of late. >_>'' My Summer School teacher is really nice...I can't say the same about my class, though. Lets just say the vast majority of them utterly dispise me. >_< I don't mind though...because, to be frank, I don't like many of them either. And, of course, Harry Potter is coming out tonight! =D Only 2 more hours, yay!

Well, at the end of April, out Wind Ensomble is going to Washington DC to play in the Kennedy Center in an invitation only competition...only 5 bands in the entire US got invited. :giggle: So, naturally I'm excited, right? Well, not anymore. I'm the second trumpet player in the band and the lead trumpet in the full orchestra (We got invited too), and yesterday our director, Mr. Corrigan, pulled me aside after practice, took my trumpet from me, and handed me a viola, and told me "Learn this and all of the music in time for DC, your going to be our lead violist."

0.0 I've never touched a damned string instrument in my LIFE~!!!! :dead: I have 8 wekks to learn how to play the damned thing PERFECTLY and the level 6 music, which is college level music, dead on, with no mistakes....Lord help me... x_X

Well, I totally just realised the Singles Awardness Day (formally known as Valentines Day) is coming up on Wednesday, whoo! >___< Another holiday to sit though...It's so pointless unless you have a boyfriend/girlfriend, it really is. Me and my friends wanna pull our money together and buy a mess load of candy to eat together, it should be fun, it should it should!
And on Februrary 24th, I'm having a whole bunch of friends come over to my house to watch Saw III with me, it'll be great!!! None of them have seen it, It'll be fun watching them squirm!!! **Giggles a maniacal, evil laughter**

Well, I've discovered that I've been no mood but depressed over the past month and a half, I just can't get happy...! At first chocolate did the trick, but not anymore, :sniff: I know why, other than the fact I hardly see my dad anymore, my band directors leaving our school at the end of the year. Which wouldn't seem like that big of a deal to you guys, but he's like my second dad to me, he's always been really nice to me, It's gonna suck with him gone. AND the band programs gonna go to hell. Half of the kids from our feeder kids aren't going to continue because he's leaving, and half of the people already in out band are gonna quit because they were only in it because he was our director...like Ross Williams, he's transfering to Buccannan...he's our lead Alto Sax player in concert band and jazz band...and the only decent alto player we have...so not only is the wind ensomble Sax section going to suck, so is our jazz band...:faint: Drama sucks.

Well, first of all, we have on of the best high school Orchestra programs in the nation, so obviously, the music is gonna be really hard right? Well, I've never really touched a string instrument in my life, and the day before break, my band teacher says I have 3 months to learn how to play a viola and the viola music...in time for our Washington D.C. trip to play in Kennedy Center...!! No way in heck can I manage to learn to play an instrument in 3 months, I'm a brass player!!! :faint: I'm gonna die from stress, it's horrible...!

Step 1.

Make a post in your dA journal. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. First off, we had a normal start f the day.... until a spur of the moment awards serimony.... For Year Book Dedication.. and Students of the Year in insert random subject here. I belive there was a PE award, AB award, Artist award, Performing Arts Award, Math award, Linguist Award, and Science Award..... I think I forgot one..! X3

Well, I was bored.... me and the guy I like were aimlessly flirting as we always do, and we heard my BEST FRIENDS name-Krissie Borofka- get called! She got the Student of the Year Science award!! ^_^ Then my OTHER friend Courtney got the Student of the Year Math award!!
...Then, as I slowly realised there was a performing Arts award(while artist award was being given), I got all flutery. X3 But when the choir teacher walked up to the podium thingy, I was relived, surely she would give it to a kid in choir! But no, she says "I'm pleased to introduce Maddie Freundt as our Performing Arts student of the Year!!!" And I felt my jaw drop! 'T'was cool, but quite embarassing standing in front of all of the students in the school while she gave a speech about how good I am in plays, choir, and band.... :faint:

Then Jazz Band came along..! The director from the high school band was with us.... and told me the 2 things that TOTALLY made my day!!! =D
1.) I was to be, as a freshman, 2 chair in wind ensemble 1.... his wind ensemble is onoe of the best in the nation...! And he also told me I would probably be able to pass up the senior who sits 1 chair!!!! :D
2.) In 2008, Mr. Corrigan (High school band director)'s Bands were invited to go to BEJING, CHINA and PLAY IN THE OLYMPICS!!!! In the Opening cerimony, the ending cerimony.... OMG!!!! This HAS to be one of the best things that have ever hapened to me!! ^-^

Sorry, I haven't been drawing lately..... blockage.. ;_; I'll try though, I really will!!! ^_^ I'm having a writing block too... so I cant do anything...!!! 0_x

:phew: Summer is only 3 days away!!! :w00t: I can practically TASTE it! X3 Unfortunatly, I only get 3/10 weeks of summer..... So I could take German along with band, I have to do... *gulp* Summer school.... 0.0 THE HORROR!!!
Its not so bad, though... I did it last year too!! ^_^

AND The entire first week of summer, me and my 3 BESTESTEST friends (Other than Krissie ;_;) Are hanging out, doing random things..! :D I cant wait until my day, we're gonna have so much fun! ^_^ I have MANY a water balloon at my house........ and a swimming pool, :lmao:

My last day of school...... EVER... at Clark Intermediate....... 6-9-06

Today, which should have been a good day, was actually quite depressing. As an eigth-grader... well, now a freshman... You would think I would be glad to leave, to get to Clovis High, but I'm not. It feels like the year went by much to fast, and LOADS of my friends are... WERE.... seventh graders.... I'm going to miss them SOOO much... I broke down at school.... ;__;

The rest of the day, though teary-sad-like, was quite fun!! ^_^ The talents show was.. scary... but amusing, and my outfit RULED!! X3 I was wearing neon orange converse and pants, a white tanktop, and a neon orange tanktop over the white one!! X3 It was so much fun..... I got to much attention, though!!! <33

On Monday, a few of my friends are coming over, it should be nice!!!! ^__^ We're gonna do crazy things like we always do!! :faint: I'm really nervous for tomorrow...!!! ;__; You know all of those other bands I did..? Well, heres the next (And thankfully last) Audition for the jazz band..... And I've had the audition piece for.... 3 days now.... THREE!!!!! So I have a horrible disadvantage... But I automatically make it... because not enough trumpets are auditioning.... :w00t: Thats the only reason why I'm doing it... ^^; I hope I end up a decent chair!! ^_^ I'll be so surprised if I'm first... 0.0;

:nod: Yup... so All-State went really good!! ^_^ I ended up first chair in the second band, which isn't all that bad!!!! What makes me REALLY MAD is the fact that I could've been first chair in the TOP BAND, but they needed strong players in both bands.... But, Our music was better..!! ^_^ I guess I got lucky! :w00t: Yay, good karma!!! ^_^

To top that off.... schools going really badly for me.. ;__; Expecially math, Which I have a C in... ;__; I'm grounded until it comes up, which really sucks... I have about 5 projects I have to finish, all of them are due on the same freaken day (March 31), And I'm not at school that day, because I'm at an all day Jazz Festival in Fullerton!! And to top it all of, all of that is on my birthday..!! ;_; Hapy birthday to me!! >< AND on March 30, I have another all day festival, so I can't turn them in them!! ;_;

And I'm now signed up for high school!!! :D :D I like my classes!! ^_^ I'm taking Honours English, Jazz Band, Lunch ( >< ), biology, algebra 1 (Again.. .;_; ), German 1 (because I'm taking a summer class), Marching Band P.E., and Wind Ensomble 1!!! Which is a BIG deal, because our band director at CHS is one of the top ten band directors in ALL of the US!!! ^_^ And the Wind Ensomble 1 is THE best high school band in the NATION!!!! They got 1 place at a compitition that the top 10 bands in the nation were invited to!! :nod: ^_^ I'm so lucky to be in it as a freshman!

And then comes the pressure from art..!! ;__; I have about 10 friends of mine expecting a chibi from me sometime soon... And they can tell when I rush them.. I have NO time for it!! 0.0 So now I'm just giving then the sketches...!! :shakefist: DAMN YOU MATH!! ><

I had melody and a solo on When Johnny comes Marching Home... But I did really good!!! My friend Krissie did great on her clarinet solo, too!! :phew: We were nervous about that one.. but its just so fun to play!! And next comes, my second favorite of the night, Pirates Of The Caribbean!!! ^__^ I was SO scared for that one... cause I had a solo in the high registers... but everyone said I did perfect!! Even the director, Mr. Rader!!! ^_^ the rest of Pirates went really good, too!! The cello did wonderful on her solo, along with the oboe!!! ^__^ AND I hit all of my high notes and on the place I had to double tounge!!! ^__^ Then the BESTEST song of the night... William Tell Overture!!! (If you dont recognise it by name, you would recognise it by the tune... EVERYONE has heard it before, I guaruntee it!!!) At the beginning, The flute and clarinet did WONDERFUL on their duet...! then the strings had melody... then.. I come in.. JUST ME!! No one else had melody the rest of the song but me... so if I messed up the intire thing would've been ruined!!! but I did really good!!!! On all 4 of my solos in that song!!!! I was SHAKING when I had to start playing... but I calmed down after a few measures... :phew: So the intire performance was good!!!

Now All I have to worry about is next weeks audition for the FMCMEA Honor Band..... ;__; I WILL BE FIRST CHAIR!!!!
