A Note About Paying Me
-I will NOT be shipping any commissions until they are payed in full.
-I require a minimum payment of 1/2 the price of the commissioned plushy before starting it. It is possible to pay me in one payment.
-if the plushy commission should be canceled, I AM ENTITLED TO KEEP THE FIRST PAYMENT AS COMPENSATION FOR THE WORK I ALREADY PUT INTO IT/ THE FABRIC I USED. So unless the cancellation is made before I start the plushy, no refunds of that initial payment. If the plushy was payed in full at the first payment, I will be refunding half the payment.
- I can take either Paypal (preferred), or money orders as payment method.

It should also be noted that I do not have access to the biggest selection of fabric ever. I will use whatever I can find. So far fabric was never much of a problem though.

It still highly pisses me off though xP I'll have to re-install everything, re-download a year's worth of stuff, find those old CDs that I thought I would never need again, etc... Well at least I'm able to back up. I have to do it in safe-mode because my computer is too slow otherwise, but still( I can't even open folders. it just doesn't respond at all). Just the fact that I won't have to lose my drawings over this trojan makes me feel incredibly relieved.

I still want to try a few more things before wiping my hardrive, but I doubt they're going to work.

This year I entered the cosplay contest and won best female with my Azula season 3 costume! With a martial art routine that I improvised 5 mins before going on stage lol. And my prize was one of the CUTEST t-shirt ever! Sadly, I don't have a picture of it right now >:

Also on the last day me and a bunch of friends went out for sushi at a nearby japanese restaurant and we ordered literally a crapton of sushi xD 70 pieces in total if I remember well. It was delicious, even though I kinda got sick of it after 5-7 sushi or so. I guess I'm still not used to the taste enough.

Oh and I took the train for the first time ever! I loved it, especially since I was with alot of fellow con-goers, and alot of them were friends.

So overall the weekend was really fun if you don't count a few misshaps here and there and lack of sleep. I'm kinda sad that there won't be a big con next year, I was getting in the routine of going there once a year. this year was my 4th year in a row there. Oh well, I'll just be twice as pumped for 2011 then!

I'm really sorry for the flood of drawings that aren't the best in the world xP Better ones will comme at the end, I promisse!

About why I left for a few months... I gotta say it was because I was tired of all the drama going on. Now that it seems that everything calmed down, I guess that I can come out of lurking.


oh, and on a happier note, I've been making plushies! Plushie making is somethinng I started 3-4 years ago, but I never posted any of my creations because I simply kept forgetting to take pictures! right now I'm working on a plushie of my boyfriend's WoW character, an undead, using *BabyLondonStar's sitting plushy pattern for the base. I even plan on making his mount xD I'll do my best to remember to take pictures of this one!


Skipping to another subject, I'm going to college now! having art classes all day long is the best! I'm already seeing some changes in my art since I started my classes. More...fluent I guess. I'm also trying out different art styles too. Trying to break away from my generic anime styles xP

Anyways, I gotta say i was quite surprised by the new layout, like mostly everyone I bet.I really like the upgrade they did to the inbox. Having the deviations display as thumbnails is something I was wishing for for a long time now. I haven't been everywere yet, so I hope to notice more of those fun changes.

Anime marthons are a terrible thing that should not be done. you get no sleep, you barely eat, and you sit at the same spot for hours.

So why is it so fun then?
I just watched Eureka 7 in 2 and a half day. It was a great anime. I'm sad that I waited so long to watch it. I loved how the show was centered on character developement, not on the giant robots fights like most of the animes of that category. I gotta say, the story and concept was a bit difficult to follow at some points, but it wasn't too bad. I also like how realistic the show was. The side-characters that Renton met rarely succeeded, or truly struggled to reach success.

Now, what really bothers me right now was the ending. Like the ending of many anime/manga/book/etc, it gave a conclusion, but not about all the characters. I wanna know what happened to the Gekko after Renton letf to save Eureka. ;_; I was actually very surprised that they didn't say a word about anyone on the Gekko in the epiloge since they all played sort of a major role in the story. When the last episode ended, it really felt as is there should have been another one after. I was ready to keep on watching, but then I noticed that I was at the bottom of my list and that it was over. ;-;

Now I'll be going. Gotta get this Eureka7 high taken care of by doodling a bit xD

Nex year, I'll be starting my first year in college (in art fundamentals!). I've already been there a few times, and I can't wait to be sitting in those classes
as a student, not as an observer. I'm also really happy that my best friend is comming with me, instead of moving far away like she wanted to do at first. Living in an apartment with her isn't going to be much diferent of how we're already living anyways xD

FRIDAY.
RAID TEH VENDOR'S ROOM!!! should have been an activity. Half of the attendants were squeezing to get the closest to the 'gate'. When it opened, everyone rushed in and utter chaos followed! I was one of the crazy fans ; It didn't help that people were trying to get pictures of the cosplayers.I was Toph from Avatar on that day!^^

the bishi survivor was hilarious! Vincent emerged victorious of that major battle^^ the J-idol was really cool too!so many talented singers! won second place! ^_^ Go congratulate her!! Me and my sis (who was cosplaying temari from Naruto btw )spent the rest of the night just hanging out in the halls or the vendor's room.



SATURDAY.
weeee time to TRY to spike my hair like Axel! it failed, but at least I had the markings on my face to make it look a bit more like him ;I participated in the masquerade and somehow won the "best hall cosplay".Sadly, I don't have any videos, but if you go on youtube and search for Animaritime 2007, you should find them! ^^
The anime improv was sooooooo funny!! I have a few vids of it up in my photobucket, I'll post a link at the end of this journal...When I entered the build a villain activity, I thought about building a villain for a story, like what characteristics give or not to give him/her. Imagine my surprise when I was given a barbie doll and pointed towards a box of fabric and stuff! o_o It actually ended up be very fun! Some of the villains were very funny!^^ We also went at the auction, but didn't buy anything due to lack of money. >< I wanted that Kero from Cardcaptor sooo badly!! ;_; oh well! I'll probably do one myself!


SUNDAY:
For Sunday, I wore my Toph cosplay again, but I brought my homemade Midna plushy with me![link]
the only thing we did that day was the plushy making. I made a crappy little Navi to go with my Midna, but when I got back home, it became my pin pillow anyways, we went into the mall for like 2 hours and we didn't bother to take off our cosplays. The look on peoples face was sooooo funny! XD After that, we went to the closing ceremony. Some prizes were given out. I won first place in the art contest in my category with [link] ^^ .....well,that was it for this year's con. it went by so fast.....;_;
