I've got a few new watchers lately and I feel I should explain a certain thing again so no one would be confused.
Lately I've been submitting art that dates back to 2007 or later. I have a lot of pictures I would like to add into my gallery but a certain guideline I set for myself conflicted with my real intentions. After joining dA I decided I would submit one picture in a month but later I noticed this is a bad way of doing things. I'd love to have my gallery upto date with all my points of intrest of moment, or "phases", since at the moment my gallery is heavily retrospective and doesn't reflect my current intrests. Thus I am trying to get all the stuff I have lying on my hard drive out of the way quickly.

On the other side of things, I've had my thoughts revolve around commissions. I have no idea if I should open a shop for commissions because I don't know how people would respond. How about it, peeps? Would anyone be interested in commissioning me?

Oh look at that, tomorrow will be my 3th anniversary at dA. Dear god.

EDIT: Hay it's me editing this journal. I am most honored by the activity of all my watchers, and would like to address you with my humblest of thank-yous: would anyone actually please bother to answer my question described above?! This is important to know. At the top of that, why are you even watching me if you're not interested in what I do? Opinions! You have the freedom of speech!

Another year, another Septim... I wonder who made up time and why. Still, nine is my favorite number.
My 19th birthday was 13.9.2009, nine days ago. Lucky me.

Originally I intented to write this journal on 19th but I was too busy roleplaying a zombie publicly. Ever heard of Zombie Walk? Well now that I have your attention... [link] (And Ben, if you spot me, don't tell it here)

Actually I do have a reason to write. A while ago I got an urge to map how big portion of my life I've spent playing this and that video game. However, it's impossible to get even close to the real amount of hours played due to three reasons; 1. I don't always save after playing (especially true with Shadow of the Colossus), 2. Many of my saves have been lost over the years (especially true with Oblivion) and 3. not all games have a playtime counter. But those that have one, I've mapped and made a list. Also I don't have means to check my Gameboy Color games' playtimes now... I emphasize that this list only directional, some of the times are only estimates, some are accurate, some are in a standstill and some are still counting, but here it is:

The Elderscrolls IV: Oblivion: 521 hours
Fable: The Lost Chapters: 61 hours (bear in mind how short this game is)
Two Worlds: 31 hours
Golden Sun: 64 hours
Golden Sun: The Lost Age: 87 hours
Pokemon Sapphire, 1st cartridge: 332 hours
Pokemon Sapphire, 2nd cartridge: I always use this spare cartridge to start a new game. I've started a new game 3-4 times and each playthrough takes 30-50 hours
Pokemon Ruby: 89 hours
Pokemon FireRed: 95 hours
Pokemon Emerald: 195 hours
Pokemon Diamond: 323 hours
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2: Explorers of Time: 96 hours
.hack//G.U. game trilogy: 254 hours (130 hours on Vol.3 alone)
Ratchet&Clank I: 5th gameRound, each round takes 30-60 hours to complete.
Ratchet&Clank II: 5th Round, -"-
Ratchet&Clank III: 3rd Round, -"-
Shadow of the Colossus: 39 hours
Ico: 6 hours

Also there are a few games that don't have a counter but which I've played a lot, and I am pretty sure my estimates are not far from the marker:

Spore: over 150 hours
The Elderscrolls III: Morrowind: over 200 hours
Assassin's Creed: over 70 hours
Klonoa: Door to Phantomile: over a ridiculous amount of hours

Those hours from the games with the counter summarized together make over 2700 hours alone, which is over 4 full months. But as I've said, I am missing a lot of data so we're nowhere near the truth.

After all that I want to tell you one of my favorite video game quotes. I am bad at spotting and remembering great quotes but this is one I like:
"Welcome to paradise. There's no cake or tea to greet you with, but there's plenty of light.
Yes, light. Light all over you. This bastard is always bringing me ghosts behind my back. You know this too right? The black, mute, and sticky bastard.
Yes, the bastard's name is Pa-- no, I can't say his name because I fear him too much. Hey. Can you get rid of this black thing for me? I think I would be able to run around for water if you can do that for me.
Hey, how about it. Get rid of this "past" for me. No! I said his name! I'm doomed, it's the end! No! Don't! Don't come near me! Get away! Aaaaaaaargh!!!!!!"
~JIN, Tartarga, .hack//G.U.

On the top of the other things, I submitted an unnecessarily huge amount of useless scribbles into my scraps. Might just be wasting everyone's time...

I am not satisfied with my deviantART gallery, I do not like the condition it is in. The main problem is that it's old. Drawings are not up-to-date. They're old crap that I wanted to submit first. The gallery doesn't reflect my current situation, current obsessions/phases/etc. Something had to be done, so that's why I, after weeks of pondering, decided to completely renovate my personal dA etiquette. This is the beginning of a new chapter.

For now, I have to say goodbye to the 1 pic/month policy I've obeyed. I am warning you about a massive flood of pictures that is to come. I want to get all the old pictures outta the "waiting room" in order to be able to update my gallery real-time in the future. I want to be like other deviants who update only when they have a new picture. I want to get rid of this retroactive gallery.

Aside of that, I will now fill in two quizzes I was tagged for ages ago.

Rules
1. Post these rules.
2. Each tagged person must post 8 things about theirself on their journal.
3. At the end, you have to choose and tag 8 people and post their icons on the same journal.
4. Go to their pages and send a message saying you tagged them.
5. No tag-backs.

1. My fingers bend backwards.
2. I suffer from "Darth Vader syndrome".
3. I've been there.
4. I sometimes eat while standing.
5. Once I won two cruise vouchers in a lotto draw. I traded the other cruise for a spoon.
6. I find fictional beings more interesting than real world beings.
7. Although, on contradiction, I believe all religions are lies and poison.
8. Space is fascinating.

I tag... , and uh... . Tag only applies to the upper quiz ^, not this one below.

Vidiya game quiz:
1. How often do you play video games:
I need them to breathe.

2. List your 5 favourite video games.
The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, Shadow of the Colossus, Ratchet & Clank 1, Klonoa: Door to Phantomile (PS) and uh... the 5th one is mutable. Possibly Spore, possibly Assassin's Creed, possibly TES IV: Oblivion... I don't know.

3. What makes these games better than others?
They've had the strongest impact/influence on me and who I am.

4. What genres (types) of games are they?
RPG, platformer, puzzle, adventure....

5. Which of these games do you consider the most violent? Why?
Huh, well... If I had included Assassin's Creed as the 5th, it'd beat the others 6-0. But since I didn't... Probably Shadow of the Colossus... Lotsa blood and killing and stuff and bad and no questioning morals.

6. Which of these games do you consider the least violent? Why?
Lol Klonoa. It's a kid's game after all. You kill enemies by throwing other enemies at them and they just pop and leave nice shapes like stars and circles floating in the air.

7. Do you tend to play video games alone, or with friends?
Alone, I'm not that much into multiplayer games.

8. How long do you usually play a game before you want to quit? Is it difficult for you to leave the game?
It depends on how addictive the game is. This matters most when trying out a new game. The more I like it, the more I will likely play it in the future. Also if the game is really good, I might play it straight through without pauses when starting it up the 1st time. Then I am sad when it's over.
Leaving the game is difficult only if I'm forced by an outsider factor.
But, hours and hours...

9. Do you ever get angry or frustrated when playing a video game? If so, what do you do about it?
Oh, PFFT are you kidding me?! I've bit my PS2 controller and Gameboy Advance in frustration, they have teeth marks! I've thrown controllers and them handhelds around! Shouted at them games! I get stressed and furious if nothing is going well! I hate annoying games and enemies, they obliterate my happiness.
I shut down the game and try again later, if I find the mojo to torture myself through the annoying part of the game again.

10. How do you usually feel when you finish playing?
I am just looking forward the next moment I need to feed my gaming appetite.

11. What game would you like to be made next?
The Elder Scrolls V. 'Nuff said.<...

Sorry, it has been way too long. I've just been über-busy to even inform I'm on hiatus. Everything is now ok, though! Made through the matriculation exams and driving school's theory exam too.

So we move on...

I want to make one thing clear- I am right-handed.
I bet everyone has tried drawing or writing with their opposite hand, and everyone knows how hard it is. Well, there are exceptions, some find it easier than others, but mainly it is hard to suddenly use the secondary hand. It feels so frustrating not to get the lines straight- they're wonky and shaky and writing is hardly legible and all over the place. You know this, right?
Everyone has goals and wishes too. One of my personal dreams is to be able to draw equally well on both hands. It's hard work and not always so fun. But I am trying, because there is something fascinating in the thought of being ambidextrous. Also, it feels somehow like going back to the beginning when I was but a kid learning to use the pencils. It's fun to follow the progres.
I am telling you this because you will be going to see drawings made with left hand in my upcoming gallery additions. Learning to draw with my secondary hand is an important goal to me, and therefore I felt you should know that it's not a trivial matter, "done just for fun" -thing. No, I am pretty serious with this.

I have no idea when this all started, but I have settled this [link] as the beginning of the more dedicated secondary hand training. It was done in the summer of 2005. "More dedicated" because I have been using my left hand earlier, but only after that drawing I have been honestly trying.
It features these following characters:
1. A dragon
2. -- (I erased it; private)
3. Another dragon
4. A skull and crossbones...
5. Yet another dragon. Under it is the alphabeth.
6. Uh, a feline creature?
7. A laughing Decepticon -symbol.
8. -- (private)
9. Kid Goku.
I didn't want this crap into my gallery.
But you should set that drawing as the base. You can refer every upcoming left-hand-made drawing to this and see how much I've advanced. Because I think the progres what I've made in three years is striking (three years because I have not yet done any left-hand drawings this year).

[EDIT] Wanted to add- that even after so much practicing during these three years, only lately I've managed to draw without my hand shaking. I am beginning to draw more quickly and more confidently. I'm not so good at writing with my left hand, though, due to lack of practicing it.
You might want to remember that naturally my drawings done with secondary hand are not as, uh... detailed or 'sleek' as drawings done with primary hand, but I am determined to achieve that level of detail and accuracy. Slowly, but steadily...
I am still unable to erase with my left hand, though.

Expect to see improvement.
Also, my final art journal part.

Greetings all, this is the fifth part of my journal series. If you are getting bored, don't worry. I can probably fit all the remaining things into the following journal.

Annual rehearsal, that's right.
I draw alot. Almost on every day of the year. Sometimes multiple pictures on the same day. But I have one goal- I want to become better, learn new. Most of the learning comes without being conscious of it. To learn art is to make art; while you do it, you realize new things and tricks. Suddenly, something feels much more easier to illustrate, and you're unsure why it is.
Through the days in a year, you grow. You age, you learn new, and not just about art. Think of the past year, what have you learned? A lot, I dare say. A human is aware of its surroundings all the time, you notice things even when you are not actually looking. When you sleep, your brains arrange all the experience you had during the day. The very small detail you didn't consciously notice is now part of you. Next time you let your thoughts direct your pen on the paper, you come up with something new. Well, mostly anyways. It takes much more than just an unconscious observation. It is more about cold hard practise, blood, sweat and tears.
Now this is only an empiristic approach. You can also learn a whole lot from artbooks, if that is your way to go.

I don't know about you, but I save all my drawings. Looking at them, it's easy to measure my progress. I still save all my pictures, but I have found a different approach to follow my progress.
On a certain unsuspecting day six years ago, I drew an Umbreon. Alright, the picture didn't have anything special into it, just a simple Umbreon. I have no recollection of it when I started to think "Hey... wouldn't it be nice if I'd drew an Umbreon on the same day every year to see how I fare?". At first, this was nothing serious and I related to it only as a fun commitment, but only lately I've started to realize how valuable this "project" is. Though if I could I'd probably choose another subject than Umbreon, but I am satisfied as it is. I very much intend to continue doing this, but for how long? As long as possible, I hope. This is a wonderful way to learn.
Thus, since 2003, every year on the 31th of October, I draw an Umbreon with my current skills to see how I've advanced.
I've noticed that the pictures have clear stages which shows my development. They are base, details, perspective and anatomy. You might want to read the more extensive descripton about the "annual-Umbreons" on the picture's description: [link]

I have followed Pokemon for 10 years and all that time I have been interested in them as an entertainment and later also as a challenge. For multiple reasons, including Giratina being the second, true badass Pokemon (1st was Mewtwo) due to its types, Ghost/Dragon. So his primary type is Ghost, and I've always considered Ghost-type Pokemons to be undead. What could possibly beat the combination of "undead" and "dragon" when talking about a creature that's in a series mostly directed for children? Besides, Giratina has six legs. How many other Pokemon have six legs?
Giratina and I have come a long way; right from the moment I saw him the first time, I felt like I've found a long-lost soulmate. The bond grew stronger the more I learned about him. The first picture I saw of Giratina was low-quality and blurry pixel sprite, so most of my oppinions about him are based on misinterpretations. The rest are idealistic wishes of "how I'd want Giratina to be". I am reluctant of changing any of them.
Giratina's appearance is rather unique for a Pokemon. His is sort of a combination between centipede/basilisk/dragon. His long neck and a "crown" makes him look elegant, like he'd constantly be watching down upon us. Also those already mentioned six legs are somewhat unusual. His color combination intrigues me as well, there is something in his pale grey ("platinum") skin.
My earliest thoughts of Giratina were he could turn invisible (turn into fog), and that the red parts and his eyes glow. Funny thing is, both of these are actually true. Though Giratina "officially" can turn invisible only for a flash. The thought of his foggy form came from ghosts' stereotypical concept. Think of the Ghost Ship; every time it's used in movie or what ever, it always appears from thick mist. Besides, Giratina is said to appear in ancient graveyards. Ancient graveyard. Ghosts. Fog. It makes sense, right? My thought has always been that Giratina's able to blend into fog (thus "becoming invisible") but the glowing red parts swindle him. +10 creepiness points for eerie floating red lights shining through thick fog. Moreover, some people, like me, prefer to think Giratina as the god of death over god of dimensions (graveyards, ghosts, death, god/protector of the dead and such).
The most notable difference between my Giratina and official Giratina, are the wings. Giratina can produce the fog from his metaphysically variant essence (ghost), but most of the fog is formed from his wings. In my idea of Giratina, his wings are not physical. They're smoke-like, swirly, constantly moving wings formed of souls of those creatures Giratina has killed or devoured. Wow it was a shock, wasn't it? I bet you didn't expect that. Giratina basicly extends the actual fog with his "soulfog", but the movement of the soulwings is limited... The official Giratina has spikes on his clearly physical wings, mine has diamond-shaped, glowing chunks of girasol opal floating in proximity of the wings' lower fringe. These aren't jus...

I must admit that my views on Parukia maybe a little too divergent, but I am satisfied with the image of Parukia I've been able to produce.
For those who want official information of him, may look here. Parukia is also a dragon. His appearance is rather interesting and provided a good template for attempts to make him look more mature. Because it is true what is said about the official Parukia- he's pink gay dinosaur. His appearance is interesting, but it's not nearly as good as Diaruga's. There's something contradictory in it, but I can't explain what... But the wide leg position stumbles even worse than Diaruga. And the gay dinosaur tag on him, oh dear. Parukia's appearance doesn't quite give him justice. I refuse to mention that particular shape due to what some people bought the Pearl version. This needed to change. I made him look more fierce, and if I'd color him, he'd be white. For two reasons: it's not pink and white looks good on him. Parukia's primary type is water. That's really weird, because there is no clear mark on him of his watery habitat. Most people haven't been able to connect Parukia's types to him. Pearls come from the sea, and Parukia has pearls on his shoulder plates, but this link to a half-aquatic animal is tenuous to say the very least. So one of the goals was to make a better impression of a half-aquatic animal. Parukia already has a strong tail, which he can use for swimming underwater. The features I've given to him are a protective "helmet" (makes him look like a warrior : D) which continues as a spikes with skin between them (a frill, looks more aquatic), protective breastplate, gauntlets and shoulderplates with the pearls are now all spiky. I'm thinking they could be made of bone or other hard material. I turned those parts on the sides of his mouth into tusks and gave it sharp forward-pointing teeth. These are for hunting purposes (easier to gain a hold of the prey). The official Parukia's wings are bland, they're just three parts holding together trying to look like wings. I drew feather wings on him. And I am not the only one who has changed them into feather wings (luckily). I also gave him proper fingers.
Parukia can't fly well due to his weight and small wings. He prefers to swim or walk.
Though my "mature Parukia" theory has similarities with others' views on him, the head may surprise you (just warning you): [link]

Next one will be Giratina, after him, no more Pokemons.

Oh heavens, what a sin.

In the early days when the Diamond & Pearl generation Pokemons were revealed, something was know of few creatures, but the games had not yet been released even in Japan. Then when I noticed the dragon trio — Diaruga, Parukia/Palkia, Giratina — I got really intrigued and started drawing many pictures of them. I always imagined Diaruga to be extremely fast runner, Parukia being able to fly but very poorly, and Giratina to be unable to fly, but able to turn invisible. My vision was crushed when I found out none of these hold true (well actually, maybe Parukia's flying ability is close to the truth). But though these qualities do not exist on them, I hold on them tight for two reasons: I think they make sense and I can't change my ideologies just like that.

Dialga / Diaruga
Those who want official information about him may look here (includes pictures).
Diaruga (excuse me for using the phonetic form, I find it easier to write and say) is clearly based on a lizard/dinosaur. I've seen a video of him in the Pokemon Battle Revolution and he's animated to walk like lizards do. And his other type is Dragon besides Steel, so no questions about that. He clearly is a dragon/lizard/dinosaur. The things that bothers me the most in him is his odd face and the pose in which he stands- the wide legs remind me of bow-legged cowboys. And no, this was not a compliment. He... looks a bit stupid. Diaruga has potential but somehow these two things mentioned above do good job hindering it from standing out. I've seen also other artists finding out one thing; Diaruga looks good if his body is drawn to resemble that of a horse. Not exactly like a horse, but some features from it, especially the legs. You know... the horse's leg fold differently. I used to make Diaruga more horsey but oddly I've slowly shifted into drawing it more like a dragon. I still can't quite decide which one I should use as the base. Though if he were more like a horse, it'd make more sense that he'd be able to run very fast, like I've imagined of him. Diaruga has odd extentions on his body; the parts on the sides of his head, the formation with diamond on his chest, the spikes on his neck and the "fan" on his rump. I imagine these parts could be made of steel due to Diaruga's secondary type. I draw diamond-shape in my mind, and like they had been grown out from his body; on the official Diaruga's design, most of them look like they're only pasted on. The official Diaruga can spread the fan when attacking, but that only adds one more stupid feature on him. A huge-ass fan, bow-legs, empty look, no real jaw and few teeth. They don't make a good impression, now do they? Only makes him seem like he's a relative of Goofy.
I am doing my best trying to replace these so that his real nature could stand out.
Here, take a look: [link]

In the next journal I will tell you about Parukia (Palkia).

damn it didn't fit
Hello all. I don't know if you think why I am telling you about such things as my relation towards art, but I feel it is important you know it, for art plays one of the biggest roles in my life.
I've spend much time with it and I'm somewhat experienced. I've pondered questions regarding art, asked some, answered some. Can't possibly claim I know everything but like said, I am only somewhat experienced.
Everyone of us has a style and it develops through our lives. I don't draw the same way I did when I was younger. Some things stay but a lot changes. My style has come down to "semi-realism" (I don't know if it actually is an official term) and only time will tell if it's going to change, and most likely it will. But towards what, I am eager to find out. My guess is it will become even more devoted to details and perhaps a bit more realistic.
To specify, semi-realism is what it sounds like. Not everything is depicted like things are. For me, semi-realistic style represents freedom. Not bound to obey all the existing details. One could think semi-realism as a lame excuse for drawing badly. It's always wise to play the "It's my style" -card. Not.
Semi-realism does not obey the existing to the very last detail nor does it follow any other style. Gives the artist the freedom to add their own "handprint" into the image. A mix between realism and artist's own style? Perhaps. A mixture it definately is, like anything with "semi-" prefix. Not quite there, but close. And this brings me closer to my first actual subject, Pokemons.

Majority of people have at least some sort of notion about what the Pokemons are. But those who know, usually are not aware of one important fact; the games came before anything else. The games are the "only true thing" in Pokemon (for me at least), and basicly, everything else in Pokemon is based on them. The movies, the tv-series... I still follow the story of Pokemon in form of the games. Most people would laugh at persons like me, but I don't see Pokemons as a thing for kids only. I see a deeper side in Pokemons, which is hard to notice outside of the games. Strategy is needed to advance in the games and the world that the hero ventures in is vast. In the latest Pokemon games, the Pokemon have gained their own world creation myth.
Pokemon has more to it than meets the eye. I don't see Pokemons as a bunch of childish nonsense. The creatures themselves are innovative and highly intriguinging. Most well designed and appealing. They are not as "mature-looking" and detailed as Digimons are and therefore the optimal playground for artists orientated to semi-realistic style.
It's educating trying to bring simple cartoon characters to real world. Goes without saying that doing it for years it has developed skills. Not only it has a practical use but it is also fun, otherwise I wouldn't be doing it.
They have the cartoony base but I add realistic characteristics on them. If they remind me of something existing, I mimic the style of the creature and mix it with the already existing subject. Many Pokemons are based on a real animal. What animal they happen to represent, I will try to make them look realistic by adding more details from the animal on them. If they are abstract and are not based on anything existing, then I only stylize them and draw them resembling something they could be based on. It's a wild guess and that's why I usually have many different versions of the same Pokemon. It's impossible to know what they really could be like due to the simple style they are created in. And that is the challenge. One of the things that keeps me fascinated and occupied.

I will expand on a few spesific Pokemons in the upcoming journal(s?) then I'll move on.

Wow, I must admit, it's been really dead around here recently. There is one, and only one reason: matriculation examinations. I had nominated myself into two exams for this fall (the rest three I have next spring): short maths and philosophy. I started reading for those exams two months before the tests and had no free time. Or, I shouldn't have had any. I would have needed only read and revise the whole summer but hey, I've never been the one for school. And it is healthy to take breaks. I surpassed myself even just by dedicating for reading as much as I did. During July, I read philosophy from 7 to 9 hours a day. And when schools started, I read maths from 4 to 7 hours a day. And when math exam was over, it was time for philosophy again. Sometimes I even ditched from lessons so that I could go to library to read.
Last few months have been the most stressful time of my life (so far). I am glad they're over for now, but the fact that I know I didn't do so well bothers me. Oh well, my original goal was only to pass them. Not only the math exam was the first matriculation exam for me, but math itself has always been huge obstacle for me. It required me a real lot of courage to even nominate for the math exam. But I was forced to choose between math and Sweedish but I am even more worse in Sweedish than I am in maths. So.

Four days before my maths matriculation examination I had my 18th birthday on 13th, which was Saturday. I found the fact somewhat ironic. Now I am legally allowed to buy and consume alcohol \o/ xD. I also resigned from church as soon as I remembered I am now allowed to decide it myself.

Don't remember how many times I've meant to write a new journal and tell you how I am, but more than two times nevertheless. One of the things was a funny fact. I found it funny. Some of you know how much I like the Pokemon Giratina, right? Well, the new Pokemon game, Pokemon Platinum, for NDS, which has Giratina as the version mascot, was released in Japan on 13th of September. No wait, didn't you just see the number earlier? Yes you did. Pokemon Platinum was released in Japan on the same day I had my birhtday \o/ this may sound niche to you, as it actually is, but somehow it made me happy \o/

I have finished my WIP I mentioned in the previous journal. It consumed over 30 hours, and the whole making process was... really chaotic. I won't go into details because... well all you need to know is that I felt guilty by doing it because I should have read for the exams and I also felt guilty for not doing it. It's only a portrait but since I am newb in using the digital mediums it took so much time. I might submit someday. We'll see.

I also bought a new game over a month ago, Assassin's Creed. Which I shouldn't have done because I should have dedicated all my free time for reading. But it was on discount xD!! I just had finished installing Oblivion on my computer when the game arrived. Well, then I didn't play Oblivion even though I had longed for it.
I saw my friend playing Assassins' Creed on Xbox 360 and I fell in love with the character animations, the graphics and how Altaïr (the main character) scaled the buildings. These three things made me buy the game. I knew absolutely nothing about the plot. I usually don't buy games on this mentality as the games may prove to be BS in its purest form. But Assassin's Creed was a pleasant surprise, although I couldn't enjoy it fully due to my computer's poor performance. Its processor did not meet the game's minimum requirements so at times I experience some serious lag with the sounds and the picture. But it didn't bother so much as the game itself was so fascinating. Actually, I kinda forgot the epic lag while playing the game. In addition, the game is evil. It made me read history voluntarily.

I've also bought my first Pokemon plushies \o/ they're my second and third plushie so far (my first was a small Edward Elric plush). About 20" tall Diaruga and Parukia plushies! Oh my god they're adoreable! It wasn't far I didn't buy Giratina plushie also but it felt kinda expencive when compared to the two. Well, there will be plenty of time for that later. I won them on eBay and they're both brand new. I spared about 100 euros (~$144, ~£80, ~177 AUD) by buying them from there. They're high quality plushies and totally worth the money. And Parukia's butt makes an amazingly good pillow.
I'd collect Pokemon plushies with higher enthusiasm if they weren't so expencive.

~~

WHAT THE FUCK deviantArt's changed those bullet...

Wow, I came back on 1st of May and now I write a journal about the trip.

Yes, our class (well, majority of it at least) went on a class-trip to Barcelona, Spain aka the Isle of Rabbits. In previous journal I said we were going to be there for 6 days. Well the whole trip lasted for those six days, but two of them were devoted to traveling, and traveling only. So we basicly spend four days there.

Traveling.
Traveling is a vital part in making journeys, trips, exploring, whatever, and I can't understand those unnamed people who were questioning why can't we just teleport to Barcelona, why must we sit in cars, busses, trains, planes and subways to get there. But I must admit that on the last, 6th, day when we had to leave from the city, we woke up at 5:30 am, and were home roughly at 10:00 pm. Between that was nothing bu traveling, and THAT was a little bit numbning. But I enjoyed every minute of it, I wasn't even tired though I fell asleep on the plane for a while, which was odd since I usually stay awake because I am busy watching the view from the plane's window XD

Here is a diary-like description of the journey from my point of view.
Note: the following text is only for those who actually are interested in reading how my trip was xD

Day I
We finally arrived at our hostel at the center of Barcelona, after getting lost. It was around 11:30 pm and we were exhausted from the day's traveling. By the way, the first thing I noticed about Barcelona was palm trees. I've not seen those before xD. Second thing I noticed was the amount of cars and the way they were driven. But well I guess people who live in big cities like Barcelona are used to drive in a very... free manner. It's hard to describe the traffic, because it really was something I've never seen.
At the hostel though, we were given key cards and codes for conduct. Our rooms were at the sixth floor, boys were sleeping in one room and girls in another. What sucked was that the boys had their own shower & WC in their room but us girls had to use public ones ~`_´~ But that didn't bother since we had more beautiful view to the streets than boys! We had three floor-to-ceiling windows with balconies (though we weren't allowed to go to the balconies), and dear me the view was quite awesome. And I even got the upper bed, I saw one of Sagrada Familia's towers from there!! 8DD
I've never been in so big city, and I was worried I couldn't sleep in the traffic noise but it didn't wake me up, not even once during the whole trip. Wow.
Third thing I noticed about Barcelona was very much diferent climate. It was muggy and that I did not like.

Day II
We woke up at 8:30 am and went to eat breakfast. Mom has said to me that I should avoid eating salad, cold sauces and milk (all food should be cooked so that the most of the bacteria would perish since I as a tourist was not used to the bacteria level there, and could easily catch an illness). But the breakfast serving consisted only of white bread, cereals, müsli, juices, milk, muffins/waffles, tea, coffee, cocoa and some fruits. And I really didn't want to eat my cereals with pineaple juice I tell you. So drank milk. But didn't catch an illness.
After that, the first thing we got introduced in was the famous walking street La Rambla (sometimes written as Las Ramblas, but I can't say why). My god the place was full of ppl. And the amount of shops. "Souvenirs", "souvenirs", "souvenirs", "souvenirs", "souvenirs", "souvenirs" etc you catch the drift. I had to humble myself more than once since I bought a few souvenir-trashes with a text "Barcelona" on them. First thing I bought from Barcelona's shop was a small glass for alchohol (it is very pretty and I got even a discount). There were some impressionists on the sides of the street. They were portraying statues and when someone threw money to them, they started moving, and maybe gave a return-gift. There was that one guy portraying something of a horror movie. He was painted white, wore a large top hat and scary hologram-stickered specs, and rode on a golden bike with his skeleton pal. I liked him so much I bought a beer for him xD he went nuts over the beer and cycled like a maniac XDD. He gave me two candies when everyone else got just one.
Then we walked a long way to the Picasso museum. We weren't allowed to carry our bags or take photos there. Uh... Picasso... Well you know Picasso, right? I liked only his classical styled works. Those works that he's famous for didn't turn me on.
Then we ate lunch, and I bought some Kentucky Fried Chicken! You can't get it anywhere in Finland and I was excited I actually saw one of their restaurants xD chicken was ok, a little bit too expencive though.
I really was digging a grav...

Apparently we're getting something aeroplane themed today. That's right, I am going to inform you that I will be away for a while at the end of this month. We'll spend there six days .
Anyone who has seen Pokemon movie 10 knows how heavily it is affected by Gaudi's works in Barcelona. The city in the movie is like second Barcelona, really.
But I am definately looking forward to see Sagrada Família.and sitting on that spot on park güell's bench where's an impression of gaudi's bottom.

Not far from Barcelona is a city named Salou.
I have no idea when the official site was updated, but it brought a lot of new information of the new movie, Giratina & the sky's bouquet: Sheimi, and I am overwhelmed. For many reasons.
One being it, that now we know what's the story of the movie. A boring, classical Pokemon plot. "There's a villain who want's the Pokemon's über power to rule over the world." Did you get the feeling you've heard that before? Yeah, me too. BUT! Hear this:
The villain of the movie, Zero, is a Giratina gijinka? Look at this: [link] Holy hell doesn't that look just like a Giratina gijinka? Or then he's just a fanboy. So this Zero guy wants Giratina's power. Zero has Coils (Magnemites) and a Jibacoil (Magnezone) himself, and a robotic maid named Infui who has desu eyes and a crazy, normal to Pokemon, haircut. Look: [link] both pictures are from the official site. Infui pilots a ship named Megariba.
Due to the battle between Parukia and Diaruga in movie 10, metaplaces like space and time are screwed up. This creates a black cloud of some dark materia to Giratina's plane (dimensions. Or it's just a pretteh mirrorworld of the Pokemon world, actually) and this pisses Giratina off and he lures Diaruga to his plane, and beats Diaruga up.
"GODDAMN look at this mess!! Goddamn, I say, goddamned cloud of bullcrap!" *slaps Diaruga* "I wasn't the one who wanted to fight, and you two caused this!" *slaps Diaruga*
"OUCH! Hit brother Parukia instead!"
Which reminds me, why didn't Giratina summon Parukia too?
Giratina's new form, the so-called origin form, is the only one (?) he's able to use in his mirror dimension. WHICH REMINDS ME oh dawg Zero seems like a total asshole trying to snag Giratina like that but he has one pretty voice! See this trailer! [link] Honestly, I very very rarely pay attention to japanese voiceacting like this, but this may be an unique exeption. Megariba can apparently go to Giratina's dimension. How odd.
Now that I got you to watch that trailer, doesn't the movie look just... very promising, in spite of the lame plot?
There's still many questions unanswered though. What's Parukia's role? Does Sheimi something besides than speaking telepathically with Satoshi and others, and sneezing among flowers? Does Regigigas something besides ripping fields apart and acting like it has a dozen floodlights in it?
But we still gotta wait till 19th of July!

And yes, this was worth a journal entry. I thought earlier if I made an entry to tell about Giratina's new form, but I then didn't. It was close though. Seeing the new Giratina form told me many things, the most important of them being it that Giratina's not just like one of its many unlucky Legendary brother or sister. Many Legendaries are just forced to a movie: "Ok let's just make a halfassed movie about this and that Legendary", like it's some kind of rule that every Legendary must be show at least in one movie. Though, better in a halfassed movie than in 4kid's raped animation that makes you weep. Now that Nintendo made a new form for Giratina, it was a signal to me that Giratina is not being abandoned. Instead they're developing him. He's not a castaway like the likes of Serebi or the Trios of Birds, Dogs or Golems.

Hold on. I just at this holy second got an idea to my head. Maybe the actions in movie 11 are just going to make things worse? If space and time is already twisted, what if the mirror world to the Pokemon world is going to fall apart and so causing bad things happen in the Pokemon world? In movie 12 the gang would get to meet the Pixies and Aruseus who would restore the balance to the worlds and calm the rage between Diaruga, Parukia and Giratina. Now that'd be pretty epic. I wish it was something like that! I could then boast "I was the one who speculated this first !" Noo... well, besides, it would make sense.

D: <

[link]

~Bonzai-The-Fox
This site has always been pretty easy to use, except for its confusing categories. But this is the first feature I've downright hated. I come here to talk about my art and my friends' art casually. Deviant ART was nice because it was convenient. But I don't want this level of intricacy, I don't need my favorites organized. And dA also had to throw in those ads, making our galleries ugly unless we pay them. I'm not here to be a professional artist and spread my work, I'm here for fun. I'm not going to buy a subscription because I don't need it. This feature is only going to alienate deviants, and I think it's a horrible, horrible idea.

~ScaredyCat
I think it's an interesting idea, but stuffing advertisements in the middle of our galleries is a rotten thing to do. Advertisements in their own bars on the top of the page is fine, but this new additions in the middle of galleries makes DA seem scatterbrained and unprofessional.

~medli20
I agree, the ads in our galleries need to go. D<

~ScaredyCat
Quite right. We bring our art to DeviantART for a simple-to-use, professional place that's community-friendly. None of us complain when there are advertisements across our screen as long as they aren't in our personal sections of DA, but now they've stuffed advertisements in what is our own gallery, which is entirely unfair to do to us.

~Bonzai-The-Fox
That's a really good way of looking at it. I hadn't thought of it as an invasion of my personal space before I read that, despite how obvious it is now that I think about it. I guess I couldn't get past the simple first impression, which is that giant bricks of ads are a bad thing. I agree, it's fine in dA's space, in their own banners at the top, but my gallery is for my artwork, not someone else's ad.

~guymontage
So did this "collections" feature come at the expense of the large, annoying (and largely annoying) ad in all non-subscribers galleries? 'casue it's not worth it. Having my art (or anyone else's) contrasted with "MAKE $3000 ON EBAY!!!" is fairly demeaning. It seems dA is moving towards the ad-plastered, application nightmare that is facebook. Which would mean I am moving away from dA.

~Farewell-Spring
Hmm, I like the idea, but by reading some of the comments, I noticed people commenting something about a big ad on the galleries (non subscribers) and I got curious, so I checked my own gallery, and WOW, I mean really WOW! that ad in there is the ugliest thing I have ever seen in my whole life, it really doesn't have any aesthetics, which I'll would have expect from an art site, and it's completely annoying.
Has anyone else noticed how the ads on dA keep loading and reloading(over an over again)?, usually as I browse and open several images in different tabs, I can see how after one of the tabs is already loaded after a few minutes it starts to load again and it's just to load a different ad, I mean that's pretty annoying already, now this big ads, on members galleries, and I'm guessing this ads as well, will keep reloading everytime.
This just makes browsing through te site and galleries to much troublesome.

*nummerni
it sucks

period

Copypasta from my TESforums thread of the problem I was having:

"So this is what happens:
When I play old save game file with Tribunal active, my money disappears when I use silts riders.
When I start new game with Tribunal active, my money does NOT disappear.

I noticed that the game steals also other stuff. My filled grand soulgem was also gone.

-Wrye Mash did not help
-Installing Bloodmoon did not help
-Reinstalling Morrowind helped so far untill I installed Tribunal again

So the problem is in Tribunal. It does not approve my old saves.
Any solutions?

A new game?
If only I wasn't on level 152 and to point out that I've worked for my game, my in-game journal has over 430 pages."

I was really getting desperate. I was having so many not-so-pleasing events with Oblivion and I thought I'd be safe with Morrowind, and I felt so useless when nothing worked with this problem.

Against my expectations, people at TESforums offered me help. Sometimes when I was troubled w/ OB, and posted my problem there, I didn't get any kind of reply. Certain moderator told me to use Wrye Mash, but when it didn't work, he moved the thread from Hardware & Software issues to Mods. There, I had to wait two days and no one replied.

Today I got the reply that saved me.
Actually a simple advice, but it worked.
"Or (remembering to remove or add patches) remove Tribunal, go back to a save before you installed Tribunal, drop your money on the ground, save, exit. Install Tribunal, start the game, pick up your money and see what happens. I don't think a cell change should be necessary, but then you shouldn't be having this problem. Since you've got Mash, I'd copy the money dropped save, clean it, and use that for testing."

I owe a huge thank-you to all kind souls who helped me, especially the one who gave that advice.

Now I am just fearing that this will reoccur. Or, if there was an item that I didn't notice missing from my inventory, then it was a fare-well to that item. I hope nothing was lost.

It is actually very hard to describe this feeling either. I am just so relieved that I found a solution. I was fearing I would have to start a new game. But I hope nothing worse happens.

I've waited for so long to get into Mournhold. And now I finally can.

Somebody give me some tranquilizers or my head will go boom

AW MAN IT'S DOUBLE frustration

MAINLY
after two years
I finally finished my own morrowind game
and I had a principal that I will not install any expansions before i had beaten the main game

NOW that I FINALLY got to install tribunal expansion today
the game decides it would be PERFECT time to start fucking with me
the bloody thing steals my money whenever I travel with silts riders, no matter what

AUGH IT BURNS
i made a topic to TESforums about this, but usually the popluation dwelling there are lazy and most likely I will not receive any kind of instruction "what to do next"
I have 239k and belive me it burns me when I notice "oh hells, look at that, I'M DEAD BROKE" then I'll find some coins to travel next time, lets say i found 43 gold, I travel to balmora with 3 drakes, AND WHOLE SHIT GONE
DAMN THOSE TAXES

*bangs head to desk*

SECONDLY
everybody knows Giratina is my favorite pokemon yes
but many do not know how important he is to me
now it breaks my heart to know HE WILL BE IN

well you might ask "what's the deal? isn't it positive?"
YES MISTER IT IS
but
it takes a century
before I can see the damn movie
I'M DYING TO
SEE
the darkrai & diaruga & parukia film, the previous (10th) movie. that movie was made in 2007 and japans made to see it in the same year
americans get to see the movie in early 2008 I think
europeans get to see the movie hopefully in FUCKING 2009 but when you're talking about it appearing in FINLAND
a place behind god's butt
we're easily talking about 2010

go figure when would the 11th movie air here?
it
frus
trates
me
so

11th movie, titled Giratina to Sora no Hanataba, Giratina and the Sky's Bouquet is to be set in an area based on areas such as Sognefjord & Bergen, Norway. The staff visited Sognefjord & Bergen in September 2007 to form a basis for the movie's setting. (wikipedia)
I WONDER
if the staff
would have any mercy for us living here in remote north after they loaned our landscapes??

I just can't describe this frustration

Finnally the tension is over and the winners of the *PokeCon are announced! But the digital art is taking over the throne from traditional art, it wasn't difficould to predict that the winners would be digital entries, because buttload of the entries were digital.
The winning picture is really cool, I think it deserved to win
fuck this shit I can't use the thumbnails
anyways, this is the winner! [link]
The only big NO in that picture is that it falls for one the besetting sin of gijinka makers, and that is that a Charizard gijinka is mostly a person with tail, wings and horns sticking out of him/her/it.
The 2nd and 3rd winners are not into my taste, but I guess they deserve it. The win I mean.

I didn't win any prizes, (only three entries were given prize), but I did win in some categories.
And I won with both entries xD
Isn't that against the rules or something xDD?

Ab aeterno won Honorable Mention in Normal/Grass/Flying category.
It's in category like that because Aruseus gijinka sitting in the middle of the picture is normal-typed.
Dis manibus sacrum won Trainer +Gijinka in Dark/Ghost/Psychic category

Of course I was a little disappointed that neither of my entries made into top3, but the contest was just so good that pouting just doesn't make sense. And I did win something, to be exact.

To add a little joy, THE FREAKING FIRST SNOW CAME TODAY YEAAAH!
[link] go go my 1.3 mbpixel cellhphone cam go
the contest is over, the virgin snow and I am soon leaving to play tabletop RPGs! Some D&D and Silent Hill! And now that the contest is over, I can finally submit some stuff to my gallery. But I don't have time to do it now.

And at top of that, my "dA birthday" was 21th October. I've been here now for a year. I've submited 37 works, written about 1000 comments, gained about 2000 pageviews, written 21 journals including this, made friends with wonderful people, joined one club, participated in one contest and switched my webcam two times. And done one art trade.
Contest's deadline is 10th of October, I was 30% sure that I wasn't going to make it in time, because the first entry was still a WIP, when I got the idea for the second one. And I knew it wouldn't fit on A4. So I got a little stressed, but it seems I made it!

This is rant for those who have Pokémon fanart in their galleries.

WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU??
What the hell, I ask, what the hell.

Almost all those deviant's galleries, that I browse, which have one or two Pokemon fanarts among 24546 other deviations they have, and when I look at the certain, mostly well done, Pokemon fanart, the deviant is apologizing that s/he has done Pokemon fanart!!. WHAT THE HELL IS THIS? Just a second ago, what triggered me to write this, I saw this as Pokemon fanart picture's description:

I'm on a Pokémon fanart roll, ladies! Sorry about this, but this is what you're going to be seeing for a good while.
I'm working on other, non-poké related pieces aswell but I haven't bothered to get off my ass and photograph/scan them. I KNOW, NOT BECOMING OF AN ARTIST.
No, this is not an attack towards this person who wrote this, this is just merely an example. Many are the numbers of those deviants who are saying either something like:

"Ohemgee, YES, I LIKE POKEMONS SO WHAT >.>;;;"
"I am sorry for this Pokemon fanart! I promise to draw something else!!"
"Please bear with me, I just got Diamond/Pearl, and my head is bursting with ideas [to draw Pokemons]"
or mabye "I am ashamed to tell you this, guys... I do like pokemons... I hope you don't think me as some child-minded freak ._."

I've seen all of those, and even more!
Child-minded freak?
Then we all who draw Pokemons must be. Satoshi Tajiri must be a child-minded freak also! What about Nintendo above all? All of the workers and developers and game-testers and top-bananas must be child-minded freaks too!

Deviants who draw Pokemons, what the hell are you afraid of, for you're acting like that??? Why are you apologizing? Why are you cowering about telling the world that you want to draw Pokemons?
Pokemons may be done as kiddie's series, but why the hell to be shamed about it if you like it??
Transformers is also a kiddie's series, and I like that too, but it "is acceptable" because it has more violence than Pokemon. okay for that sentence I'm going to get my ass flamed and roasted

Note to all deviants there: I like Pokemons. It has been one of my major obsessions since it came to existence and I knowledged it.
When I was ~10 I tried to break my bonds to Pokemons because I got bullied about my Pokemon-liking. I got tired about others picking on me and I tried to get myself to hate Pokemons. I tried for a while, I destroyed Pokemon drawings and such clutter and had angry thoughs.
Very soon I realized I wasn't going to succeed. And honestly, I am happy I never did get rid of Pokemon.
Pokemons are not only a childs' morning-cartoon-series with cute big eyed fictional creatures, who fight for friendship and all that sugarygaystuff, but they are cool. Annoying yellow rodent Pikachu is not the only Pokemon out there! There's over 400 more, and if one would even take a little bit closer look under the surface, Pokemons may be more than meets the eye (gods, transformers get outta my head, I'm ranting.)
Big eyed, cuddlery-duddlery, OMG KAWAII DESU NE, sugary-sweet Pokemons are not the only ones! They are just the most advertised ones because fundamentally Pokemon is kiddie's series, and the developers want to bring those cute ones to the audience more. But why would they desing such poltergeist-ish Pokemons like Ghastly and Haunter and so on? Why would they desing an artificial, man-made, clone-Pokemon with terrible power?
You may say: "The cute ones are for gurlz, and the more scarier ones are for boiz, DUHHHH!!"
It may be, but I belive that they have included such Pokemon desings that anyone of any age could like them.

You see more violence in Donald Duck than Pokemon.

Why would they desing new and new stuff all the time if Pokemon wouldn't be popular? Ten movies, twenty-nine games, over 800 episodes of TV-series cannot lie.
You: That is just fleecing!! They only want money!!
Isn't every thing now days? Transformers TV-series and movies have always been only commercials. Yu-Gi-Oh, Duel Masters are also commercials to get you to buy merchandise.
You: Pokemon is also just a commercial!
It might be to you, but there are those who find the series more deeper. Like I said, I like Transformers, but I do not think it as 20-minute commercial. I do not think Pokemons only as a lure to get one to buy them. Nothing prevents you to enjoy it.

Fellow Pokemon-fan deviants! Do not be afraid to like Pokemon. If you're getting angry comments like "Eww Pokemons" just ignore them.
Be proud to be a Pokemon fan/atic.
I am.

Those, who despise Pokemons, must be currently laughing their asses off, then be my guest, g...

Hi peeps.
I was in Tuska festival, and I already promised few photos. I'll post few when I get to it.
I took very little amount of pictures actually. Mostly because I was there only for one band. I watched Misery Index, Pain, half of W.A.S.P and half of Emperor. I got one amazing photo of Emperor; they had some pyrotech there at the beginning of the show, and I wanted to take picture of 'em, pity though that there just happens to be a tongue of flame right in the front of the singer's face. Oh wellz.
I was actually surprised at first with Misery Index, I though they were from Finland because the singer's opening words were in Finnish, and he spoke it well! It was funny when he said a greeting (don't remember was it hello, or good day or somethin' ) in Finnish, waited the crowd to respond, only quiet mumble, then said the most famous swear word ' perkele', and the crowd roared back at him. Then he said "Wow I guess ' perkele' works better than 'good day'" XD.
Pain is a superb live-band. They just had the thing in their performance. After their gig, there was an autographing session! I got their signatures written on my bag, but mostly I just wanted to say 'thank you' to Peter (the singer) for his music.
When W.A.S.P played, the crowd of thousands of peoples went crazy, and believe me, it was awesome moment when the crowd sang along the chorus of "Wild Child".
On the earlier day, Friday, Children of Bodom played in Tuska. I made quite a find. It was fool's luck, I say! To think, how many people there had been, walked on the area, and there were even workers picking up the trash. But there it was, when I just happened to look to the ground, covered partly in the dirt; CoB's plectrum. It is in half-decent condition, there is so many scratches on it. And no wonder.
I always somehow manage to lose something on the festivals, but luckily it didn't happen this time. The only accident that there was that a seagull pooped on me and my digicam.

~~

I'm going to a LARP tomorrow. It is my second time. For dummies, Live Action Role Play, meaning, you run in the woods and play an elf. Basicly.
It is a LARP about a magicschool in Russia, "Saint Viorica's Academy of Dark and Holy Arts". I am the school's psychologist and I help the students. I cannot say anything else about my character here before our LARP. I just hope it all goes well, because I'm not so good at acting.

I will be very little around here for, say, something, half a year. Very little in the Internet overall. Or at least, try to be. I'm sure you all know what I am talking about. It takes about half a year to translate it to Finnish, and I just hope I will be able to avoid anything related till that.
Time stands still (at the iron hill) is the whole name
Some news 'ere.
I'm excited! I'm going to TUSKA OPEN AIR METAL FESTIVAL [link] (part of the site is in English). Though I'm going there only for one day, on Saturday (tomorrow O,O). Here's the bands that play on Saturday: [link] It's not hard to guess what band I'm going to see. ...humph! Pain of course! I know that rest of those bands are quite big names, but I'm not familiar with them. Excluding W.A.S.P though. I guess I'm just going to hang around after Pain has performed their show, and watch the other bands and take photos... Just hang around and have some great time. Nicole is oookayy... here's one song from 'em [link] (Suljetut ajatukset = closed thoughts). Going on festivals is goddamn expencive.

The two-jawed dragon race of mine finally has a decent name! Not anymore that stoopid cliché "dragon of oblivion". That was basicly only a spare name. The only criterion on their THE name was that I'd like to use some other language than English; to avoid more clichés and stupid word combinations. Good example from my msn chat with BansheeLass: Me: "I avoid using those English words so that they wouldn't be used everywhere and so that I don't put as the name of the dragons something FUCK OLOOLOO ASSHHHRAVENZ". I don't have anything personal against English, but... just wanted to take a break from it.
Later I got a second criterion on their name; I'd like that some dragonish word would appear in their names, like in yarngon. I tried many languages and crossed the words with everything and all, and my mind still couldn't let go of the word that I found some time earlier. I know when I need to stop pondering about something, I know when the thing is "the thing". This has happened many times and it happened now with the double-jawed dragons. From now on we shall know them as 'Marrastraakki'. It's a word combination of two Finnish words, marras and traakki. My mind was fixed on the word marras and I had to just keep it in the name. Sadly, there's only Finnish entry for the word in Wikipedia, but it's so short that I'll translate it here.
Marras is one of those few Finnish words that are no longer in use. Expect in the words "marraskesi" (stratum corneum) and "marraskuu" (November).
Marras means also dead.
Different death-related mythologial phenomena have been called by name marras. Martaat (plural) are the souls of the dead, soon dyeing people or augury of death.

Big catch
Especially big catch of fish might have been a marras, portent of death. In a certain belief marras is a giant fish, king of fishes, that foretells it's hunter's death.
Fine word, is it not?
And traakki is just counterpart to English word wyvern.
Okay, mabye this is a bit cliché this too, but I can't help it anymore :/. The plural for word marras is martaat, but you don't have to say it like "martaattraakki". No, use the basic 's'; marrastraakkis.

Now that I finally have the name for the other dragons, I could submit an assload of dragon art, but I cannot, since I'm a bit inhibited (read again the first chapter if you forgot).
Oh welll... Soon enough though! Figuring up the name was a huge step forward!

Now I'm in the *Pokedex! Gijinkas are pretty, alas, I'm not very good creating them. Hopefully I'd learn something xD.

I've not been tagged. I took this from =EiffelArt . Though, I've seen many deviants with this journal.
(My hands are just itching to get to play Diamond and Pearl, but they're in the stores in Finland 27th July! )

1) What was your first Pokemon game?
Pokémon Silver. German version -> Pokémon Silberne

2) Can you remember who your starter was? If so, who?
Totodile (Karnimani)

3) Did you ever complete the Pokedex in any games? Which one(s)?
No, sadly, but the the best score is in my 1st Sapphire game.

4) Did you watch the Pokemon anime? Who was your favourite character?
Yes I did. Actually, Pokémon has many good characters, and I can't just name one, but by the time I watched it i think it was Kojiro (though he still rocks!).

5) Do you still watch the anime?
HELL NO. It's feels like just pure crap now. I mean, it cannot be even called 'anime' since the TV version is Americanized! Curse 4kids! I fart in its general direction!

6) What's your favourite Pokemon type? Explain.
Steel.
Because they are really wicked and strong. And clumsy .

7) Who's your favourite Pokemon? Explain.
Giratina. The first expression I got of it is enough for me to call it my (all-time?) favorite. Though this should do fine: And undead dragon. PokeDex entry: A Pokémon said to live in the world beyond this one. It appears at ancient graves.

8) Which Pokemon do you dislike the most? Explain.
Dainoosu/ftw ever its English name. [link]
DO NOT WANT.

9) Which is your favourite region? Explain.
Umm, not been to Shin'oh yet, but... Kanto. It was really well revamped for FR/LG and I enjoy the nostalgy. I don't particulary like water in Pokémon games, what Hoenn has a lot; otherwise I would have said Hoenn's my favourite region.

10) Which is your favourite Pokemon series (ie, Kanto 1-151, Johto 152-251, Hoenn 252-358, others)? Explain.
Hoenn. I like it's Pokémons; they're nicely complex and D/P Pokémons are too unfamiliar atm. And many good movies that have neat 3rd gen. Pokémons, are set to that time when the main characters are in Hoenn.

11) Can you say a series Pokedex, without a reference, in order?
Not a whole series, but a lot from Kanto and Hoenn.

12) Do you know all the type advantages, disadvantages and all the super-effective moves for each type?
Yup. But now because I've not played Pokémon much in a greeeaaatt while, I don't remember all, but after I play D/P, I'll remember all again.

13) Did you prefer Pokemon before the new ones, or after?
Nah... I like much more the new ones, Hoenn and Shin'oh; the game developers and creature designers have been more ambitious. Pokémons are more complex.

14) Have you got an Original Character who is a trainer?
Yes, and I still have.

15) Have you ever wrote a fanfiction story about Pokemon?
Many.

17) Who is your favourite gym leader?
(Excluding D/P ones)... Oh my god, all gym leaders are good in their own way. But I'll say it's Jasmine.

18) What about Elite Four trainer?
DAIGO.

19) If you lived in the Pokemon world, who would your starter be? (Please choose out of the normal starters, excluding Pikachu and Eevee).
Achamo : D.

20) Which city would you live in before you started your journey? Why?
Slateport City. Becuz it has a beach, lighthouse, museum, market place, shipyard, harbor, Mr. nickname-rater/renamer, Pokémon fan club, in Emerald version a Battle Tent, Ms. EV-checker and a cook who claims the seaweed "you can get around these parts is fresh and full of life. Why, it looks like it can even rear up and attack!"

21) Would you travel just in the one region, or spread to other places?
If I had a possibility, I'd go to Shin'oh.

22) Would you train just one type, or different ones?
Different. There's no point in training just one type. A huge disadvatange.

23) What kind...

I'm worried about my gallery. Meaning, it doesn't look like me. And that meaning, my favorite style, so called "ideal style" doesn't show in there. My art is more, and what I would like to do more, is what Deus Arcanus Pondera drawing and my current iD represents. The style of 'em is "my inner style". I'd like to carry out this more, I'd really do, but doing stuff like my iD by traditional ways is really difficult. It takes much time, and to be honest, I've done such thing very little, but enough to know it's nature.
Capturing such tricks that are child's play in digital art to physical piece of paper is not going to happen easily.

Yo.
What's up?

Actually, I had a reason to write a new journal, but oh lookie, I forgot it. Ah well, mabye I'll do fine with just rambling here this and that.

Mabye I could tell a little bit of Shivering Isles, now that I've nearly played it ALREADY. Damn, when I checked the list of misc. quests, I realized that I had done the most of them ! Only a day or two later from the last journal entry I finished the Knights of the Nine, since it wasn't that long, and I managed to get things a little screwed, I had to collect all the 8 Holy Relics Of The Divine Crusader again. Oh well, I then finished the quest.
It was epic. Well I didn't suppose Umaril was going to prattle with the player character, liek:
Umaril: "Nooo it cannot BE!1 Pelinal is daed!1 OMG LOL LOL"
Player: "Imma chargin mah epic cruzarder sword!1 I SHALL PWN YA YA FOUL BEast!1"
Umaril: "Oh Noez!1 Nuuu lol ololol"
Player: *owns Umaril*
Player: "Now to teh SPIRIT RAELM!1 bbq"
Umaril: "FTW u're not s'pposed to be HIAR.!"
Player: "I'LL F'ckn pwn ya and eat ur sword for dinner!!"
Umaril: "not fair"
No, Umaril was bloody cool even though he did not engage to a conversation with the player, and hell no, he. Did. Not. Speak. English. He's a survivor of the extinct Ayleid race, and spoke their language. Don't expect me to know what he said ò_ó. All I can say that he sounded to be a bit upset, and probably wondered the player who had Pelinal's Crusader relics on, probably mistook the player as Pelinal Whitestrake.
It went all fine, I didn't have problem with fighting since I'm on fairly high level. The only mistake I made was that I forgot to took Umaril's sword ;___; It could have been looted, but I effin forgot to take it . I'd use the console command to add it, but it's too advanced to do so, since it has different way add a item included in a plugin.
Yeah, KotN was overall well done, really entertaining, but only thing that I hate about it was the concept of the All-good, God-worshipping-nights-and-days, Holy-hero-crusader-of-the-Eight-and-One-Divines, Pure-Hearted-über-"I fight for the Justice!"- sort of guy as the hero. It makes me puke. Like, you can at max. HAVE ONE INFAMY point! If you have more, you won't be able to wear the Crusader's thingamajigs. If you have über bad assasin character who kills all the city guards and pees on the statues of the Nine Divines, that kind of player mabye wants to leave the KotN to rot.

Yes, you don't have to remind me, that I intended to speak about Shivering Isles, but I just had to tell what happened with KotN.
Main things in SI. It's r.e.a.l.l.y amusing. I was lolling almost to everything; plants, animals, noises, sounds, clothes, houses and most important, the NPCs and their talkings and doings. I simply could not be without being like , or . One thing that is amusing-disturbing is one Argonian lass, named appropriately Runs-in-Circles, runs around and yells "Ni-ni-ni-ni-ni-ni-ni-ni-ni-ni!" xD; gets annoying after a while, but it's higly amusing.
And one does not got a sense of humor, if one does not laugh to Sheogorath's sayings. I tell ya, buddies, Sheogorath is a genius. And his servant (don't remember the exact title) Haskill . Oooooohhhh dear they rock.
Since Sheo is one of my personal favorites out of the Daedric Princes, this expancion is as valueable as gold. Like Bethesda said that those who have played Oblivion itself around 150-200 hours, must be bored in looking the grey buildings and plain-green-fields in Cyrodiil. For those, SI is refreshing, said Bethesda. (I had played Oblivion ~280 hours so I really wanted something different XD).
Seriously. Sheogorath rules. Just read what he says if you ask him about the Shivering Isles:
"The Isles, the Isles. A wonderful place! Except when it's horrible. Then it's horribly wonderful. Good for a visit. Or for an eternity."
He tends to speak in short.
And as the main quest goes on, you'll learn from him eg what clouds taste of.
About the main quest a little.
Oblivion's main quest turned upside-down at the very last seconds. SI's main quest reveals really shocking things, a...

Well last Thursday I got the piece of scheisse back. 20€ was the sum I had to pay this time.
Really, there wasn't a problem with the sounds this time, in fact. I just had... made the simpliest mistake >_>;; but we don't talk about it in public.

You hear me, you nearly-worthless piece of dung? You're not bloody one year old and now I've had to pay total sum of 65 euros for your repairings. Start working plx.

Anyways and routes, the only thing that was done was reinstalling Oblivion. God bless that I had made a backup file of my recent saved games. If I had not, they would be gone.
I don't feel like telling every detail, but the main thing, I've now installed the Shivering Isles and only three plugins. And few mods and UOP and SI FormID fixer yay. Btw, UOP's current record is over 1000 fixed flaws! Close shut the flaws of Oblivion! (was the correct motto).
I installed of the plugins only the Knights of the Nine itself, d'oh, the Orrery and Frostcrag Spire (Wizard's tower). Currently, I'm beating the KotN questline, and it's truly epic! Woohoo, AYLEIDS1!
The Orrery itself says all, but... the place is just so breathtaking! Beautiful, absolutely beautiful!
And Frostcrag just suited my character the most (and I liked the place myself the most) out of Vile lair (for assassin-themed characters) and Thieves den (name says it all).

I'm letting myself wait for the Shivering Isles, tho' I had to check the Strange Door at Niben bay if the expancion was working. I'm just so exited .

Knights of the Nine had surprised me few times. But I'm anxiously waiting so that I could meet with Umaril !!

Oh lookie... dA has given us a new smiley -> .

I'm liek a parasyte zomgx0rZ. I use Mom's school's laptop muahaha.

My own computer is just barely one year old. It has been built personally just for me, and it's supposed to be powerful, perfect for playing games.
And it is. Games run smoothly, even the most difficult one, Oblivion. Well, at first the game was flowing somewhat stickily (can you say like that?) when I was runnin' in the grass, but I tuned the gameplay little and the problem disappeared.
Despite that the computer is still glowing and glittering like newly bought, it has failed me too many times.

First time was, all the noises that came out from the computer (music included) sounded like it would have been recorded in a hall. There was the nastiest echo in existance.
Also, I managed to fail installing Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 (damn, so what? I like the game) and the game was and was not on the computer. I wasn't able to remove it nor I was able to play it. I think I've mentioned this once before in some journal.
Well, Windows had to be reinstalled. 45 € for that fun yay.
Well I got the computer back and installed all the programms again, all the games again. Including Oblivion.
I somewhat slipped too much into the world of mods. I installed too many mods to Oblivion and many conflicts occured, which I could see by using OBMM. I managed to fix few conflicts, but I was no expert. In Oblivion's readme file is notes from Bethesda, one of them said that if OB is installed/removed/reinstalled too many times, an error message may occur that prevents from removing the game. To clear this, a setup.exe should be ran from the original disc. Why I had to reinstall Oblivion again, and why I had that error message? I've reinstalled OB too many times. At first Oblivion and Morrowind didn't get along on my computer XD! When I had OB, MW didn't work. When I had MW, OB didn't work, for unknown reasons. Somehow the things settled down later.
Mods conflicted A LOT with the official OB plugins I bought. All the plugins (KotN, Mehrunes Razor, Spell Tomes, The Orrery etc.). Also, since Bethesda guys haven't finished their jobs fully, fans must do the dirty work. There is an official OB patch, but it can't be trusted, and it fixes one percent of all those gliches and flaws that unofficial patch does. Close the flaws of Oblivion! says the UOP. Sadly, the offical plugins didn't stand UOP, nearly all of them overlaped or conflicted with UOP. And then there was that stupid little rule- some of the plugins wouldn't work without the official patch! The OP was included in the KotN plugin disc, luckily. Though, when I tried to install it, I had an error message D: <! It said the patch cannot be installed cuz some original file is overwritten. What. the. shit. really. I asked for advice and I got for an answer that OBMM might have overwritten the file. After few days of thinking I decided that I'd refresh Oblivion, I would remove all the mods by reinstalling. I ran the setup.
But it just made things worse.
Really worse.
Now the computer is AGAIN bein' repaired because the stupid noises don't work properly either! MID files and videosites like YouTube don't work! Can't hear the voices.

More than just the conflicts, the game lacked in developement. Or if you can say that. Vanilla Oblivion was only half-finished when it got to the stores, and the collector's edition is not much either. All the flaws included (UOP's current record is 800 fixed flaws. Can you belive that?), there is one major problem. After 300 of playing, the game's idle animations (like doors, spells, torches) become painfully slow. There is a fan-made tool that fixes the error. You can't avoid the freezing of the animations, it will come to every one sooner or later, because of the game's coding. There is ONE DAMN BYTE that causes this. Search for Oblivion Animation Fixer (OAF) if you encounter this.

Before I attepted to reinstall OB, I removed OBMM but wrote down all the conflicting mods, and thinked what I really want again (since there's too much of 'em. I was using around 15 different mods, including the plugins).
EDIT: Not 15. 26.
When I will get the computer back, I shall first install the official patch, then plugins I want (I don't want them all, or I don't have use), then I'll install UOP and the mods.
No, wait, I forgot one important thing.
The bloody expancion! Yeaah, I bought the Shivering Isles expancion today! It's still warm! It was weird, really, because nowhere wasn't anysort of commercials or ads that it has been published .
And again, the guys in Bethesda have been lacking off in work! Shivering Isles' coding, like the Oblivion itself, has the ability to ruin the game. Quote from UESPWiki: "A very serious bug has bee...

Hey, what's up?

I've overwhelmed how much drawings I actually have possible for sumbitting here, I can't decide it easily, which should be next one . Lessee... only dragon art there is 61. 'Course I'm not gonna sumbit all of 'em . Or... who knows.

I'm currently doing an art trade with =Karaeborg. She did me this wonderful mechanical dragon as her part of the trade.
[link]
I appriciate this really much, and this always going to be important to me because this is the first art trade I did here ._. . Karaeborg must have done a pile of trades so far, and after few years she probably doesn't remember being the first one who did me my first art trade . Yeah, I'm little bit emotional here, but... .
I'm working on my part currently. It's really laborious. This is probably my most... err... biggest project, or so to say. It's size of a A3 and it's allmost full. And I'm definetely going to color it, you'll see! But it's only going to consume A LOT of time. Yeah, I volunteered to draw Karaeborg's dragonwolfgod character . Check Karae's scraps, there's a reference picture of it to me, but all I can say, "my version" is far from the "original" .

And I've fell for Morrowind. Playing it all the time . I've never played it much, I've had couple of characters, but always started a new one, and never got higher level than level 3. Now I have a prime character, currently at lv. 21 and 3/10. I've usually played with argonian (my main Oblivion char is argonian ), but now I tried to play a dunmer. I got an urge to play Morrowind finally through (basicly, the game never ends, but... XD) myself, ~BansheeLass has played it through, and told me nearly every thing of MW, including Bloodmoon and Tribunal, at least how the main quest ends. The reason, besides I've not yet beaten the game, is that I lost my intrest towards Oblivion because I've had so many problems with it. It's a good game still, but it just lost it's glory when I tried to install and play the Knights of the Nine -plugin pack. Shit. It really let me down. And is still pissing me off. I have Oblivion Mod Manager, and I noticed that the plugins are conflicting badly with some mods, and some of them are ones that I really like, and would refuse to leave behind.
WoAH *slap!self* snap off it! 8D my I allmost forgot myself, only ing.
Okay, take care!

The sounds did not work and I was unable to remove a game from this.
The repair dude called me three days later and said that the sounds are now working, but he cannot uninstall the game, which was totally stuck.
Solution?
Reinstal Windows.
Of course, the repairman made a copy of the C-drive, but I have to install ALL the freaking programs and softwares AGAIN.
It's a great pile of work. But I guess it's good to me to learn my lesson here. I'm not a genius when it comes to computers, getting it so badly messed up, but there was a problem already in the machine itself. The sound card was already twisted when I got this "fresh-baked".
It took me while to install again the scanner & printer software so I could scan new artwork, but at the moment, I'm too tired to start scanning anything x'D.

As long as I remember, I have been doodling all sorts of dragons and dragony- things. And that would be... eight or nine years now. So I pretty much now what the dragons are about, their anatomy, ways of living, most of all, their appearance. Since I was just a kid, I have always loved dragons. It's hard to say where it did begin, though. Mabye I should thank one of my friend from my childhood for introducing me to dragons. Yes, that was apparently 8-9 years ago.
But that's not all of it. I've never been a "typical girl" meaning I didn't play with dolls, My little ponies, kitten and puppy toys and so on. I played with cars, plastic snakes and spiders, dinos, sharks etc. Thus, nearly all my life I've been very fond of 'monsters' (can you call a car a monster?) and the dragons just were a nice adding to them. But later they became the major factor in my zomg monsters "fandom".

Back to the dragons.
My god you must be withering to death there with all my curriculum vitae . Sorry for that.

I have been "evolving" my dragons lately. To be honest, I'm fed up with the "stereotypical" dragons, I nearly hate them. Here's what I call stereotypical: [link] Yes I drew that, took me one minute. Now days my dragons are savage, evil as hell, in size uncomparable, multi-horned, more or less spiky, hybrids, others muscular, others slim as the yarn, enough to be a god or semi-god.
And I seriously love them.
I wonder what kind of dragons will I be drawing next year .

I may seriously consider of making a collection of my dragons from the first ones to current. Just to see how I have advanced. This will happen after I get my lazy butt to start moving for some progress.

~ ~

Oh yes and a word about the weather here. In last journal entry I was annoyed because of the winter and snow. Now, it's been two weeks, +-, without snow on the ground and temperature from two plus degrees to eight. Yaaayy. This happens always. I just wish we get snow for the new year's eve and stuff...

RAAAH christ there's winter outside! I dislike winter
Snowy landscapes are pretty, but then it's not pretty anymore when the temperature is 50 C' below 0, a pack of wolves, cats, kids, dogs, reindeer and bears are chasing after you in snow which is aprox. 1 metre deep. And your nose is frozen.
Finland's not a warm country, you know.

Well, yeah, Christmas is great .

Heck, I've now seen eight Pokémon movies, and I must say, the fourth movie (Serebii Toki wo Koeta Deai) and the fifth (Mizu no Miyako no Mamorigami Latias to Latios), were just BS compared to the other movies. I was REALLY disappointed to them ;___;.
Movies 6-8 were just AWESOME. Aweaweaweawe *__*.
Man, especially the Deoxys movie dunno, somehow it just was great.
Shit, I cannot decide! Rucario movie was really cool too, but the plot was... uh... not so great...
Satoshi: aw crap were's mah duhling Pikachu i'll go find him ftw
Rucario: i'll lead yuo
*later*
Satoshi: ftw regirock
Kid: hoshit the tree's dyeing!!1
d00000m

If you're in the mood, tell me what's your favorite Pokémon movie and why .

Yet another anime fan invades dA, bwahahahaha!

No, I do draw mostly the "semi-realistic", and currently, I'm trying to get rid of the too anime-ish style . But the eyes are so pretty...

Yep, my first time in dA. I DECIDED to join dA in year 2000, when was the first time I encountered dA and NOW I managed to get some progress.
I've only waited for opportunate time to join. And that happened to be now, when I'm on holdiays, and I finally, after six friggin' years, I got the friggin' scanner! At last! No need to abuse my buddies' scanners ;__; I feel sorry for 'em.

First time in dA. Tell me if I do something wrong, hm :B?

Oh, and a word about my avatar.
The character in it is my original char, and so far I've decided NOT to sumbit a picture of him here. Why? Because the doujinshi idea for what I've made him, is not going to see the sunlight for very long time, and I do not desire to reveal him to the world before it. And who knows, mabye it will bear some fruits, if I'd some day publish the doujinshi ^^.

I think I can hear someone questioning my username . Let's just say, I love long, fancy, "pointless" words.

Ooh, yes. And to all those Finnish persons here in dA, I ask you to use English, if you're to comment something. Do we agree? Excellent.

Hmm, and one more thing. I hate all sorts of chain mails, "Send this to 45847358203493 persons and ur wish will become true!!11!oneeleven!! tis actually works!!11 omfg" or "UR been hugged!!!1".
Do not plague me with those. Thanks.
