Whats new everyone? I am thinking about getting back into photography for reals. I feel like I've been very close minded about my work, so you may be seeing new things from me.

I've also been dealing with some personal issues, but I'd like to start getting into self portraits again too.

We will see how it goes when I sell my 20d and get a new camera.

I'm so horrible about keeping my word. One days its "I'm going to start taking pictures non-stop!" and the next day its "Ahhhhh I feel so uninspired/uncreative!"
Hopefully this blockage will cease to exist since I have started school again.

So I'm really going to start taking off my photography career for real this time!

Can anyone give me advice on creating a model release forum? What should be included in it? What the heck do I say??


Also, I was wondering what you guys think would be a good price for me to charge people?
I'm mostly into portraiture, fashion shoots, etc.

I got an e-mail from this girl who wants me to take pictures of her and her boyfriend for their 6 month anniversary. I was thinking of giving them a CD with 10-60+ images I have edited, and 5 prints of their choice (whichever ones they want and the size ranging from wallets - 8 x 10). Naturally, extra prints will cost more and extra CD's as well.

What do you guys think?? What is a fair price?

Lately, I've felt like I really have no friends. Ever since we all graduated from high school, its like everyones doing there own thing now and thats all thats on their minds. Its sad to think that because, I haven't forgotten about them.

My boyfriend is renting a room from my friends boyfriends house. Shes there all the time but never seems to take the time to hang out with me. Its sad. I've known her for 7 years but she is totally just brainwashed and all she does is hang out with her boyfriend and totally blows all her friends off. I mean, I hang out with my boyfriend all the time but sometimes I invite a friend to hang out with us or if hes not around I hang out with my friends, but does she? No. Not at all. I've tried to talk to her but she just doesn't listen. What will happen if they ever broke up? Yeah, she'd come to me because she doesn't have anyone else.

Its stupid and I can't help but still be a good friend to her because I'm not the type of person to ever leave someone behind.


Anyways...I'm in a black and white film photography class at college. Its really fun and interesting. Hopefully someday I'll be able to buy a nice scanner to scan my images in to show everyone. Hopefully I will be doing some digital photography soon. I was asked to take pictures for my old high schools prom magazine so we'll see how that goes down.


Annnd besides that, anyone know of a good job that deals with photography? :)



I miss everyone on here. I wish half of my watchers talked to me! I've been a member on here for over 4 years now. Its crazy!

Heres mine:

So I got off work around 8:15sh but left at like 8:35ish and was driving home. I was sitting at the left turn light and the light turned green and I went. All of a sudden I see this car coming right at me. I swerved to the left more so the car wouldn't hit the passenger side and the car SLAMMED into my back door behind the passenger seat.

Yeah some 17 year old kid ran a red light and was talking on his phone.

But yeah, my car has a broken door. It looks like Jaws came out of the street and took a bite out of it.

The other car was a Saturn too (I have a Saturn). His car got his front hood all smashed in.

Finally finally finally! Yay I am so excited :)

Anywayyysss school needs to be over with annnd I need to get the hell out of this valley!

If you haven't heard, Southern California has basically been burning the past week. I live in Santa Clarita so I had the pleasure of being right in the center of 3 of them -.-. Our house was evacuated on Monday. Everything is fine though. It still smells like ashes though.


Besides that I have the most amazing boyfriend in the world. For real this time. Or at least hes leading me to believe so ;).

One was called Child Abuse Thrift Store, and another was called Retarted Childrens Store. It was obviously to help them but it was still funny.
We walked along the beach and then this really long pier thing.
It was really cold and he said "Aw your cold." and he put his arm around me. :)
We walked like that for a while then i put my arm around his waist and we walked like that till we got back to his car. Ahh it was so cute.
When he dropped me off at home he got out and walked me to my door and picked a flower from my yard and said "I picked this for you."
Haha and then we hugged goodbye.

It was fun and I have a really good feeling about this :D

SCHOOL NEEDS TO BE OVER ALREADY!!!!!!!!

I am SO excited to be a senior and I am SO excited to turn 18 cause I am getting a tattoo on my lower back and its gonna be sparrows.

I'm still looking for the right design though.


I have a job interview with Robinsons May on Saturday...I hope that goes well.

I'm going to open my own savings account and start putting money in it for when I move out. I want to go to either Ventura Community College or Santa Barbara Community College...then I could traspher maybe to UCSB. I don't know but I definatly do not want to go to College of the Canyons (which is by my house)... It's really time to move out and grow up and start taking responsibility for myself.

Sooo many things have happened in just one week. I feel like I've grown up so so so much. I feel like I've matured in so many ways as well. I grew up this week, now I'm just trying to get use to it.

Monday I got my license, but unfortunatly I have no car yet. But...I got my license. That was my first step up.

Tuesday, I got my first job. I now have a REAL job, not just babysitting.

And now tomorrow, Friday, I'm going to Brooks Institute of Photography (the college I want to) and getting a tour of the campus.


AND on Monday I start my first day as a Junior.

Call me crazy but I'm looking forward to school, cause I'm bored and I miss all my friends.

You know I've grown to liking school. If you think about it, thats where you meet all your friends. Thats usually where you meet someone you love. You get to spend everyday with your friends. Yes, there is homework but knowledge is power, right? I don't see anything wrong with school...okay EXCEPT for waking up early lol. Oh well, deal. :P
