A year ago I was a pretty different person then I am now. I'm not talking about the surface, thou that has changed, but on the inside I was rather messed up. A very sad and lost child.

I know I'm risking emo jokes talking about this (looking at you Sqwee!) but that's just how I was. Shitty school life, shitty social life, and a shitty home life. I didn't really have much going for me, and to tell the truth I almost gave up on everything. I just didn't see the point to anything. One day fallowed the next, in a seemingly endless void (bite your tongue Sqwee!).

But then I met someone. Someone who's had the largest effect on my life then I think anyone else I've ever met has.

I'd been on dA for a few months by then but hadn't talked to her at all, even though everyone seemed to love her. So one day I guessed I'd figure out what the big deal was about her and in a rare act of boldness posted a very odd comment on her page. (Something about mind control, giant moths and talking monkeys I think)

She played along to my shock, and we went into a very long bit of randomness. Something just kinda clicked between us I guess, talking to her just felt so natural. We then went from dA comments to chatting on MSN allot. This went on for months and we grew closer and closer together. I got to find out all the interesting things about her and her life, and she was always there to give me good advice whenever I needed it. And I was always there for her when she was distressed. All in all, it was just really fun talking with her, it became the highlight of my day.

In the spring we exchanged phone numbers and began talking allot on the phone. (and I mean ALLOT! Good thing I've got a good long distance plan, eh?) Before I knew it she'd had become one of the most important people in my life, and for some reason (don't ask me why) I became very special to her as well.

I left that random comment on her page a year ago today, it started a relationship that changed me for the better in so many ways. I'm happier, stronger, wiser, and an all around fun person to be around.

So thank you Ivy Mae LeVangie. Thank you for being so sweet, so funny, so smart, so fascinating, so creative, so talented, so loving, so beautiful, so delightful, so cute, so dorky, so radiant, so sensational, so sexy, so superb, so fantastic, so lush, so marvelous, so.... you

Thank you for being my best friend, and being the reason why I wanna keep living.

I work in a warehouse on the second floor. There's balcony that over looks the first floor about 10 feet below. Well long story short, I fell off it this week.

I don't wanna go into too much detail on how it happened, just that I should have been allot more careful. Luckly a little over half way down I fell on some (rather hard) cases of VHSs that broke my fall and rolled (or was it bounced?) to the concrete floor.

Got myself all checked out and aside from a sore freakin' back and just a minor concussion, I'm okay (so don't worry Ivy )

I only write this not because I want any attention or sympathy, but to warn people.

Be Care. Not paying attention in situations or environments can get you seriously hurt.

Well last week I was in something of a bd mood, that even friends couldn't quite get me to shake. See, I've been worrying about my future. What am I gonna do for the rest of my life and such.

And I'll tell you my lack of focus dosen't help much either. I'm very tunnel visioned when it comes to learning. So I tought to myself, "What about a trade?" It fits well with the focus thing, but there are so many that it's kinda hard to choose.

I finally decided to check out a printing course at the same school that a buddy of mine goes to (he's in for Drafting). And I gotta say I was rather impressed. A nice balance of computer and hands on work, pretty good work environment, has to do with the arts, and lots of good job opportunities.

But will I do it? I mean, I was only a student for a day, but I am thinking pretty hard about it. Even if it's not what I wanna do for the rest of my life, it's always great to learn new things, and retrain my rusted mind.

The course starts at the end of January, which will let me fulfil my obligations I made for my job, and time to think.

So yeah, just a little insight on what's going on. Hope everyone else is well.

So as long as everyone else is admitting weird stuff about themselves I don't wanna be the one left out. So here goes:

1) I dress something like an animated character, in that I always wear the same kind of blue jeans (even when they get worn out, I buy a new pair of the same kind), and always have some kind of black top (two winter jackets, a 3/4 leather coat, a simple trench coat, and my new (and fav.) pea coat) It's only the shirts that really change, which are usually a plain white or green one.

2) I'm not big on appearance when it comes to myself, but the only thing I really 'fix up' is my hair. It's because it (by it self) is very limp, and I like it stuck up and messy. Why? Well I think it makes look a little taller and a little thinner, plus I just like it that way. But that's it, I'm not pompous or arrogant about it. In fact, sometimes my friends say it looks like I was electrocuted due to the hair.

3) When out, I don't like to have just a t-shirt on, so I usually have two layers on. Because of this I don't usually take my coat off at restaurants. This really ticks off my Mom.

4) I have a bad habit of falling for girls who I later find out already have boyfriends. This has happened like 5 times, and I don't feel right going after a 'taken' girl (unless I know it's a bad relationship). I've also yet to have gone on a date, have a girlfriend or have (or have been by) kissed a girl. Yeah yeah, I know...

5) I don't A) Drink, B) Smoke or C) Do drugs.

A) Because I see it as a road to self destructive behavior (like my Father)

B) It's just plain stupid

C) Really don't see the point, I can have fun without outside influences.

But I'm not one of those jerks who try and push my views on others. If you do any of those things, fine, it's really none of my business. Just don't smoke pot near me, I hate the smell of that crap!

6) My hero is a puppet; Ed the Sock. He's smart, gets to the point, and I find that he usually brings up points that I myself feel the same about. (Note: I feel that way before he says it so I'm not copying!) Oh, and Optimus Prime, he's my hero too.
