After my last journal in July ( :lol: ) it has been kinda quiet here for me at dA! Every few weeks, I would log in an found about 1500 deviations and 700 messages waiting for me. I just didnt had the courage to read them all :giggle:

I havent been active here because I kind of started to hate my old art and username. My new account is kellymareille (Kelly is my first name, Mareille is my middle name). :)

I thought about this for a long time because honestly, it feels like a big waste for me to give up this account Mangaddicted. I have so many dA-friends here, many pageviews, received many comments and favourites. :) :heart: After 3 years on dA, it feels weird to start over again.
Thats why I hope my watchers will still support me on my other account!

This vacation, Im heading off to CHINA with my dad and sister! :w00t: w00t!! We're going to Beijing, Shang Hai and Xian. It will be so awesome.... I really cant wait! :excited:

I have done SO much new art, I'll see when I have the time to upload it all! :)
Also I have a big illustration job for an international company. I'll keep on updating on that :aww:

Not only school kept me from devART. Im also still busy with karate, next week I'll do exams for the blue belt. Thats pretty high already! After that comes brown, then black (for those of you who dont know that).
Also, my home town has its own new magazine for young people, and Im in the "promotion team". Really cool, but takes a lot of time off course! ;)

Also pretty cool to mention: Ive been to some concerts lately (yay!, it has been too long), and a few are yet to come! :love: I went to:

That was just unbelievably cool. Wow. I mean: wow. Me and my friends were at the front line, I have some pretty cool pictures of John Frusciante and Anthony Kiedis! Yeahhh! I'll show you later!
We were there early so we had to sit there on the ground, on plastic bags, for hours. We felt like a bunch of hippies :lol: my webcam picture shows it too!
That concert was probably the best one I ever went to in my life.

Not much to tell around here, after a looohooooot of school-pressure, I finally have a week vacation. :) Me and my family just moved to a new house, in the same city though, so not much has changed, and I love living here. :)

I'll be away this week, Im going on a ski vacation in Austria (Oostenrijk)! :w00t: Actually I really wanted to go snowboarding but my mom already got me a pair of ski's XD

Im sure I'll have fun as always! Ski-ing is absolutely great. :) Last year, I went with my best friend Pomme and her parents. We had the best time ever, with all kinds of weirdos in our ski class!! =P
But I believe I already wrote a journal about that. Ah well :nod:

Yesterday night was absolutely GREAT.


Me and my best friend Pomme went to see JOHN LEGEND in concert (Heineken Music Hall) !!! We are his biggest fans XD -- his music is just fantastic, you probably know him, and if not, go listen to his cd on his website! 8-) -- and we have been waiting for months to go to his concert on sunday night, 17 december! :aww:


We got there early so we were very close to the stage. First, Robin Thicke (you may know him from his big hit When I Get You Alone, a few years ago!) performed some songs, he was fantastic!


But then! There he was!!!! John Legend!!!!!!
He performed almost all his songs from his first cd, Get Lifted, and the newest, Once Again. :love: He was amazing!!! I think he's better live on stage than on his cd. :giggle:


And the big important news is the following: we bought a John Legend-shirt before the concert, and because we were two of the first 100 people who bought one, we got free tickets for a meet&greet!!!!! :omg: :wow: So at the end of the concert, Pomme, me and 98 others were waiting to meet mr. Legend (actually, his name is Stephens ;P) himself!!
After a long, hyperactive wait, there he was. :) We just couldnt believe it - we have listened to his music for years and now he was standing right in front of us! Because there were lots of people, we kinda had to hurry. We both went on a photo with him!!! :D I told him I loved his concert and he was glad to hear that. Yay!!!! It was the coolest thing. ^^

Oh, I also want to say - thanks for your support in my last journal. :) Marilés funeral was amazingly beautiful. Im so lucky to have known her, and had her as my aunt. :) I lighted candles for her in all those beautiful chapels and basilicaes all over Rome!

first of all, Im sorry for my lack of comments. I'll try to check out way more deviations soon (I have vacation in 1,5 week :)).

I have some sad news; in another journal I wrote that there was this 'family problem', which I will explain now.
I have an aunt, her name is Marilé, which I love a lot. In april (this year) we found out she had cancer, in her skin, upper leg and especially in her head. She was only 32 years old. In september, the doctors announced that there was nothing they could do for Marilé anymore.
Last saturday, october 7th, she passed away at an age of 33. A big shock for the entire family, especially because she was so young, and loved by everybody.
The funeral will be this thursday.

This is the reason why I havent been around on dA alot lately. I hope you understand.

I also have some other news, friday Im heading off to ROME for a week with my class (including ~mistique-girl-olja :hug:) !!!

My last journal was about my birthday :party:, it was awesome, I got the entire Friends-serie on dvd and a brand new mp3-player! :boogie: (parents divorced so I get presents twice! =P) Ive been watching Friends on tv for, eh... 6 years already!! And now I got the entire dvd-set. YAY! :D


I'll upload some new stuff, I already uploaded Charles & Billy (*loves* :heart:) and I'll finish the other characters soon. :)


I also want to say that the reason why I havent been around lately is because we have this thing in our family that is really really bad and I'll explain later. :(

I havent been on in ages! But here I am again 8-) (I know nobody's going to cheer, sing out loud or give me a welcome-back-party, but its a nice notice).

Ive been busy, very very busy. Went on vacation; with my dad I went to Turkey and Prague, with my mom to Spain! Ive been busy with school (well, before vacation that is), with all the Google Idol stuff, and some bad news in the family, that I might explain later. So my mood wasnt really 'artistic' XD
But here I am again. Yay! *superhuman* :)

I love Lauryn Hill, John Legend and Gnarls Barkley. :aww: Also a (big) fan of Jamie Cullum, The RHCP, Kanye West, Green Day, Alicia Keys and India Arie.
My favourite genres of music are jazz, soul, eclectric, hiphop and a mixture between these all.

Well, Im working on a few series right now.. You might have noticed Huub before. I just submitted a new one, Huub in Antarctica! XD

I'll make lots of more Huubs I think - he is so much fun to draw :dance: - so if you have a suggestion for the next place he'll go, its very appreciated! :salute:

Im also working on a toy-serie; that might sound weird, but I already made Dolly a while ago, and a few days ago I submitted Konijn. Now Im working on some more - stay tuned! 8-) :giggle:

After my Kill Bill-serie (which I did not finished because I wasnt that happy of it - at all :paranoid:), I think I'll make some pictures related to the movie Léon - the Professional. Ive seen it lots of times already, but I still love it. :heart: Its one of the best movies ever made to my opinion. ;P

I also deleted lots of deviations lately. ^^; I really thought they erm, sucked and I kept the ones that I was quite confident of :)
Not everything actually is deleted, some are also scrapped.
But I also deleted some scraps. =P

Like I told in a previous journal, I made these weird lip-synching-vids with my best friend, just for fun. ;P We posted them on pommekelly.com, but it totally got out of hand. :| For example, we've been posted in the Los Angeles Times, got broadcasted in Spain, Germany and Argentinia, we have fanclubs (!! XD) in Israel and Sweden, and we've been selected for Google Idol !!! :wow: Unbelievable!!! It all started as a joke, but now, our website gets about 65.000 visitors in a weekend. Wow. ^^;
That, as you may believe, also takes lots of time. It's very much fun, yes, but it keeps us buuuusyyyyy! >< My newest deviation took me 2 months to finish, hahaha ;P :aww:

Well, I'd still like to show you all what Im also doing except for dA, when I have some free time! :excited: My best friend Pomme and I are making videos, like I said in my previous journal. ^^ We do some lip synching on songs from artists like the Spice Girls, Britney Spears and BSB! :giggle: XD

Well the reason why I wrote this journal is about me and my best friend Pomme. :) We like to do weird stuff XD , like for example, going to stores, dress ourselves up with the most hideos outfits and then make photo's. :lol: Well, stuff like that. And thats why we made ... video's! :boogie: I know, I know, were making a TOTAL fool of ourselves, but hey, we love to do it. :XD:

We did the following thing:
We picked a few songs which are -to our opinion, SORRY if we insult anyone- kinda... lame. =P Then we 'preformed' them by lip synching! :tunes:
We did 9 videos in total by now, but we're planning to do alot more - you can read which ones in the blogs we wrote. :aww:

Well tonight Im going away on vacation, to Austria.. :dance: Yay! I'll be back around the 18th of July. :) A few days later, Im going away again for a few weeks (to London and somewhere in France! 8-)), so err, I dont really have much time for deviantART this summer ^^;

Well I'm FINALLY drawing again, and yes, my victim is DOLLY, I made these billion sketches of her before I was happy with her look (I already uploaded the 'final' picture before). Now Im busy with her comic. Dont expect too much, I'm not very far yet ^^;

And YAY, finally, I have vacation! :boogie: Last week I had my testweek and now I finally can relax (draw) again! :aww: I hope everybody has a greaaaaaat vacation! :glomp:

Well since my Photo deviation I haven't made any new Manga, but I AM busy with a comic in a complete different style. :) Its about a doll, Dolly, she looks creepy but cute in the same time. Well this is to all my (sweet and beloved:glomp:) watchers: I'm very sorry that I didn't comment on all your work, but I'm so extremely busy with school and much more, I really don't have time for deviantART. So eh, I want to make you all sure that I really love all your comments and messages, really :dance:, but all my tests and exams are going so bad at school, so maybe I have to do this year over and that would really just suck. :lonely: So all the time I usually would spend here at dA, I will now use it for learning tests (bleh :bleh:). So again, I'm really sorry, but don't expect much comments on your work from me these weeks, damnit, stupid tests :XD:
And I also still have way too many messages here, so I'll better get reading them now! :giggle:
