Friday I was fine, by Saturday I couldn't get off the couch.

I'm feeling slightly better to day but not great. My throat and chest are killing me, I can't breathe, it's even worse when I try to eat, I'm constantly sleeping, and I'm going to miss all of school this week.

This wknd my friend and I went to MoA. For those of you who don't know, MoA is a huge Mall in Minnesota. With about 4 floors and it's awesome and way too big.

Any way.

One more thing before I continue: I love Max from TVXQ and my most common nick name is Mia.

So my friend and I were walking around MoA. We were on the second floor, passing benieth the food court on the 3rd floor. We were just walking around, looking down o the ppl on the first floor. I was just casually looking at the different stores as we walked past. Then suddenly, I saw something that almost made me scream in joy.

After going to the Minnesota State Fair and filling up on ice cream, minnie donuts, and cookies; My mom, Colin, Aunt Mary, and I headed to down town St. Paul to get a look at the Republican National Convention. It was really interesting.
We didn't actually go into the convention but we walked around down town taking everything in. There were police everywhere. They were on bikes, motorcycles, horses, and cars. As many police that were there, there were just as many protesters.
You could tell who the protesters were. They definately stood out from the crowd.
The police were definately expecting something. They made the protesters move away from pretty much anywhere large groups of them congregated.
I needed to use the bathroom so my Aunt, who works in St. Paul, was going to bring me into her work but we were stopped by a police officer standing in the entrance of her work building informed us that her entire building was on lock down. So, I was forced to use one of many outhouses on the sidewalk. Not even a minute after I finished, a huge group of protesters came and sat in the plaza right by the outhouses. Right after they arrived, a group of 20 or so police on bicycles came to move the protesters.
We continued on our way and stopped on one corner where, just across the road, was the SWAT team in full riot gear. There were about 100 people in that small group alone. Through out the whole of down town, there were many many more. Suddenly, the SWAT team began to move. They went and stood in Rice Park, beginning to baracade the way. They were blocking roads and intersections to stop the protesters. Slowly but surely, they made their way down towards the parade.
As they stood a little way past Rice Park, one of the men turned and told us and the people standing there, "You can pass us and go up if you want. But you're not gonna come back."
Needless to say, we stayed behind them.
Because we had just come from the fair and because my mom is a photography nut; she had her awesome, expensive, big, digital camera with her. Yeah, I was taking pictures like crazy. I'll be posting some soon.
Mom and I made our way down a street a few blocks over and we walked down to the intersection where the parade was passing through. Mom, being the protective person she is, made me stay a block away from the parade and the SWAT team. Hello mom!! The camera only zooms so far!!!! Anyway, as we stood there, across from Wells Fargo, people suddenly started coming out of the building; they were being evacuated.
Up the street, heading away from the parade, Aunt Mary and Colin were waiting for us (they didn't want to get any closesr). THey were waiting on the corner across from Macy's. The Macy's building had a few smashed in windows that were being cleaned up and there was a cop car that had broken windows and slashed tires.
Mom, Aunt Mary, and Colin didn't want to stay so we left. And that concludes my adventures for the day. I'll post pictures from today soon.

I have everything and I know everything but I'm still nervous. Of course I'm really excited too. And the only thing I'm really nervous about is missing a plane or bus. I know that if I miss anything, so will everyone else because we're traveling. But I still worry.
But okay. I think I'm better now.

I basically just wore my friend's green tripp pants, a green tank, frog backpack, and frog hat (plus I had a role of green duct tape )
Anyway, I went with Jordan, Casey, Liz, and Pat. We stood in line FOREVER. It was soo long. And it was CRUEL. They gave you false hope when you got into the hotel and then you went and saw that you still had to go through the court yard... yeah...
But when we were standing in line (I had brought a roll of green duct tape with me) I gave everyone I was with a square of duct tape and I had them put it on their bags. Just 'cuz.
When we got through the courtyard and to the door, they asked us all our last names. Mine starts with an M so I had to go back into a different line........
THen, I wasn't glomping or hugging anyone so my friends went over to an Ayame (my favorite character of fruits basket) and they had her come over and take a pic with me -_-.
Then I hugged... A FROG PRINCE!!!!! I was so happy! ^^
Then a Mello (from death note) poked my frog hat and we talked about the amazingness of the color green (I should have hugged him)....
I HUGGED MATT!!!!!!!!!!! -(also from death note)- That also made me happy.
Then I saw a Sanosuke (rurouni kenshin) and I went over and hugged him. As I was leaving, he asked me for a picture with him ^^
I also went to a Japanese snacks panel and ate squid (it was really good) and green tea flavored kitkats (I kept the box).
I met Sylus from here also ^^ I got a pic with her ^^ she was Miyavi ^^ *squee* -so happy-
Oh yeah, I bought 3 Miyavi CD's *TRIPLESQUEE* I am soo happy ^^

THis weekend Casey, Liz, and Jordan came over. We walked around town and they all found something for their cosplays. Yay!
Jordan and I finally did some more body art.
Liz and Casey were able to meet Jordan.
Jordan, Casey, and Liz are the ones who I'll be going to Detour with. Casey and Liz hadn't met Jordan yet so I thought that I should probably have them meet and get used to eachother before I forced them together for 3 days. We're planning on getting together over spring break so that should be fun.

I went to Target, Cub, Culvers, and Goodwill with Katie and Casey. Before I did that however ( we had to wait for Katie 'cuz she was at knowledge bowl meet ) my friend Beverly and I decided to walk from the highschool to the gas station. We had to cross railroad tracks. We took on a train... Not really, almost though. When we got to the tracks the train was already speeding by. We considered sticking out and arm and latching to it but then decided that we probably shouldn't since our arms might be torn off...
Anyway, after we got to target, we ran around for a while brfore going to Cub and buying donuts. Then we walked to Culvers ( by the way, this is me, Katie, and Casey. Bev went home ), ordered food, then icecream, then we ate our donuts.
After Culvers we went to Goodwill and tried on stuff. Katie bought me a frog stuffed animal ( thank you katie!!! ).
Today I was going to go to Goodwill to go shopping with Casey and Liz but I got sick. I even missed speech *sob* So I can't go to Goodwill to buy stuffs for Detour.
Oh GUESS WHAT?!?!?
Today I will ( probably ) be able to finally buy the frog hat!!!!!
On another note:

I also am debating the 'lot' of my book. Yes Liz, I know I said I would keep the plot the same but, well, I might change it (again). BUT unlike the other 10 times I restarted, this restart would only require me to rewrite the 1st ch, most of the 2nd ch, and some lines in the 3rd chapter (and 4th).

Yes.
I had a speech meeting today at Cooper HS. Didn't go too well. I think this was just an off weekend for us. It was a really hectic week and nobody really practiced (but Jordan G. recieved an honorary mention in srious prose and Mehgan W. won 6th place in...I can't remember what catagory).
My friend Monica from Zimmerman got pa pretty good score and her team won quite a few prizes (No, we were not at the same meet sadly).
Anyway. I'm sad. I got 5 out of 8 in all three rounds *sadness*.
One girl who was in my first round performed Monty Python's 'Spanish Inquisition(?)'. It was really funny (by the way; I'm in humorous).

My parents told me that it was a first of many that I will recieve. They said I'll probably get a lot next year because it will be my Junior year.
I was looking at the different things they offered. Their language classes include Japanese (woot) and their study abroad programs include Japan and S.Korea (woot).
But I know I can't let these things affect where I choose to go. I will get many more colleges to look at and i know many of them will offer the same things.
So the college hunt has begun! I wish to take a 13th year in Japan after I graduate instead of going to college right away. But I have to make other plans incase it doesn't work out.
I'm done talking for a while now and we'll just seee how everything works out.

I also am making a J-Rock style outfit. I finished most of it. I don't think it looks very good but it probably looks better thn I think it does.
Maybe: I have red hair. AMAZING red hair. The perfect color for a Kenshin (Rurouni Kenshin) cosplay. But since I'm working on a 0$ budget, my friend and I have an idea. We've been playing around with an idea that I AM Kenshin but have had so many sex changes that I have not died. In other words, I would wear my friends kimono and become... FEMALE KENSHIN!!!!!
So, Idon't know. We'll just see how it all plays out.

Now, to add to the happiness, I get to go to my friend Jordan's house this weekend. It's her birthday and I'll be staying at her house thursday-saturday.

I had my friend Jordan stay with me from Saturday to Today. So this weekend, Jordan and I lived off of Cup Ramen, Root Beer, and Cheez-its. Wow.
I am also very happy because I drew a picture of JaeJoong from DBSK (or TVXQ). I will hopefully add that picture today. It's pretty good (just like Nao). I offer criticizem (?). When you see the picture, feel free to tell me weather or not I did him justice (I'm always worried about that).
So, angelheart88 , this is for you! Tell me how I did. Don't be shy to tell me my flaws, believe me I know I have plenty.

Then I left my room and surveyed the people currently in the house (mom, dad, david, colin, colin's friend). Since none of them listen to j-rock, I just asked each of them, "J or N?"
3 picked N and 2 picked J. So, I decided to draw Nao first (if you haven't noticed, N=Nao and J=Jaejoong).
I sat staring at the picture I was going to go off of for Nao for about 15 min. The whole time I was thinking 'I won't be able to draw him. I'm not that good. I won't do him justice.'
But, I drew him all the same.
At first I couldn't get the head at the right angle, then I had a hard time positioning his neck.
After that all went smoothly...for a while.
I waited until close to the last to draw his hair. Then came that fateful moment: his face.
I've never been much good at drawing likeness of people but I think this one came out quite well.
First I drew his eyebrows an nose. They came out fine.
But then I drew his mouth. It was the most beautiful mouth I ever have or ever will see. Then I realised...the nose wasn't tilted correctly.
I had to movethe nose. Because I moved the nose I had to move the mouth. I hate Nao's mouth.
I tried 10x's to draw his mouth. I finally just managed to draw it. But now I'm going to hate his mouth for a while. It was mocking me.
So I finished the picture...and loved it.
From that moment (bout 6:00pm) till now, I have been high on Nao.
This is the best picture I have ever drawn and it's pretty good.
So, as the title says, 'I am high on Nao'

My other uncle(dad's brother) also bought me a barnes&nobles gift card. But he didn't write the amount and I didn't ask so I don't know how much money is on it.
'Santa' got me the original Peter Pan book for me (by J.M.Barrie). I finished it. I love it. w00t
My parents got me Sabriel and Lirael by Garth Nix (first and second books in the series. I already have the third), alice nine. (Zekkeishoku (their first full length album), frog pajamas, frog socks, and frog slippers.
My brother (david) got me 2 sketck pads.
My brother (colin) got me KAMUI vol.7
So, I am very very happy. I have been listening to my alice nine. cd so much that I'll probably be sick of it in a week...or not.
I have already drawn 3pics in the sketch book and they're pretty cool if-I-do-say-so-myself.
I also got some cherry blossom perfume and a 20$ borders gift card from my aunt (mom's sister).
And a really nice(dressy) french-cut jacket from my uncle(mom's brother).
And 25$ from my grandma and grandpa (mom's parents)
And the new Harry Potter movie from my grandma (dad's mom)
So, very fruitful christmas. I'm happy. And it's almost the new year. I was going to tell you something else but, like Peter Pan, I forget many things and I forget them quickly.

He recieved beautiful second degree burns. He has about 10 blisters on his hand and the ones that haven't torn and are helpfully removing all the skin from his hand are just a big nastly looking bubble. He can't brush his teeth, write his name, fold his clothes, play the piano, and he probably won't be able to open Christmas presents by himself.
On Friday my not as little little brother, David (13yrs old today), had his party...on friday. I also went to a party that friday. At the party I went to, there were boys and girls, food, pop, strobe lights, music, and raving. At david's, there were five boys playing video games in our basement...
Now today, Sunday the 23, my brother David has turned 13. All day we've been cleaning. watching the Rat Pack, and giving him presents every few hours.
My uncle (mom's brother) just flew in from Colorado for Christmas. I think he's coming to our hose today for awhile.
Christmas eve we all go to my Dad's brother's house. All of my cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents (from my dad's side) go there.
Christmas day we all go to my mom's sister's house. All of my cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents (from my mom's side) go there.

I was talking about making a series of comics leading up to Christmas. Yeah. Probably not going to happen.
I've finally become unwriter blocked and have been dedicating all my time and energy into trying to complete the 3rd chapter.
My friend gave me quite a bit of constructive criticism. I've taken her more major points and he=ave been rewriting about 4 sections of my story in many many...many different ways trying to find the best version.
