Been a long time since I put anything up as I have been busy getting my new/old business started again. Back in the mid-late 90's I worked for a few Goalie Mask (Ice Hockey) manufacturers as their designer/painter for their various masks. After a few years, I got smart and decided I could make more money and get more work if I went out on my own and sort of freelanced. Well, ended up doing that for about ten years before the market got saturated and I decided to get a "real job" ie it sucked! Blah Blah Blah fast forward to my current sucky job and I have decided (after convincing my wife I am always right) to re-open my shop/studio whatever you want to call it. So stay tuned, I will be posting some old school mask pics as well as some cool ones I am working on in the next few visits...Toodles

I recently got one of my pieces "faved" by a fellow Deviant, an as is custom, thanked them for doing so. In return I got a message asking me not to thank them as they find "self promotion" annoying. Is it me, or is this a little over the top. I was raised in a time when saying please, thank you and the like were just common practice ( and I am not much older than some of you out there, and would definitely not be considered an old guy) So please chime in so I can see if I am wrong...Does saying "thank you" make you an opportunist trying to get more page-hits, or merely show you have some manners? I would also like to say thank you for reading this and ask you to please be honest. Thank you

Well, I have to admit that I am a big nerd. Most of you know I am a fan of cheesy 80's metal, and you can see from most of my artwork, I likes the horror movies. I am also a big time collector of comic books (going on 20 some years now) as well as action figures and Hot Wheels. If any of you have gone to a decent comic book store you will probably have heard of Previews. This is what my best friend calls the Nerd Bible. Basically it is a huge catalog that comes out monthly that you can pre-order comics, toys, clothes etc., all from your local comic book store. Anyhow its really cool, and a while back i thought I would send some artwork their way and see what happens (13 year old fanboy like, I know)....anyhow, check this ouy, 4th one down...[link]

Wow, has it been that long already...two or three months since my last post!? I am probably going to throw up (that sounds funny)some of my old skool sketchbook stuff just for laughs. I actually found an old sketchbook of mine from highschool (Class of '89 Bitches!!) and my College portfolio that I used to get a job as a graphic designer airbrushing Goalie masks! I would love to see any old stuff you all have that you are really proud of, or better yet, wished you had thrown out! Keep checking back as I am sure I have got all sorts of garbage to show you...hey if we can't laugh at ourselves, laugh at other people! Toodles....

Okay, so anyone who knows me personally knows I'm a huge Star Wars geek...have been since'77. Drew a lot of Darth Vader, Boba Fett and stuff when I was a kid ( okay, not that long ago) and have been here on Deviantart for just over a year, and never before have I gotten as big a response as when I put up Darth Maul the other day. Seriously, 26 messages in less than 24 hours!!! I am completely blown away, and once again want to thank everyone who added it as a fave and even made a few new friends out of it! So watch out everyone, my nerd signal has gone off, more Star Wars to come!
