Uhhhhhm....I don't feel like drawing anymore at the moment, but I have to be using the computer to earn my hours. So...there's that.

Why can't they just invent a little USB key that times you when you're on your computer wherever you are? That would be a Godsend, no? I'd have 100+ hours. Lol

Still have a lot of work to do. Hopefully I'll be doing that tonight and tomorrow. Hear it might snow tomorrow. Weird.

So, didn't get anything done yesterday, cousins came up for a surprise visit so we spent most of the day hanging out with them. That was cool. They brought their little puppy with them, she was awesome too. xD

Alrighty. DM101 stuff has to be done by Tuesday Night, English is preferably done by Tuesday night -- don't want to rush an hour before class to finish after DM...Illust -mostly- must be done by Tuesday night, but I have two hours before class to pick up the slack on that one. Probably have to go pick up cake during that time though, so gotta calculate that into the equation...

Afterward, Work Thursday and Friday, work on Nexus Thursday and Friday, sleep the rest of the weekend. Lol

THEN. THE MONDAY AFTER THAT.
I can start to breathe again.
And hang out with people. xD

I'll be working on art for that as well over the vacation.

Now that I have a job temporarily, maybe we can actually get a real one up and running. x3 That'd be cool. I should've taken Web Design with ~riku-gurl next semester so I could learn how to make it spiffy and fabulous. Maybe I'll ask her for help when she learns all that cool stuff. x3

Cosplay-wise...gotta fix my muscle plate...again. Can't Find Kyouki, which bums me a little. :\ I was gonna remake 'im, but I still liked my old crappy one.

Making the Chest plate from scratch I think. Got a basic plan in my brain. I'll make a small one first before I attempt the real thing. See if my theory works. Then I'm callin' Krio up and we'll have a cosplay frenzy. xDD Possibly drag the rest of Counterfeit Corruptions over to work on their Z!Cos.

Afterward...most like fix up Arcanine, 'cause Krio says she's got a few ideas on stoof for him. And we gotta make her floofy...uhm...-forgot the name of the poke'mon-

Anyway, you all know - It's a blend of all three, focus being on OoT, with hints and traces of the other three, Nexus will be the most subtle of the bunch, obviously. Might attempt the forehead piercing-look from that. (Obviously not really piercing my face.)
I'm excited, but I still need a lot of planning before I start that one for real. XD I'll probably go buy another buff-plate specifically for this costume. So I can sew/glue it into the fabric the way it's meant to be done. xDD;

Uhm, so I'm trying to design a website for SCnE Productions (which is all the comics B-L and I work on together) and I was wondering if anyone knew a good free hosting site like Freewebs? The only thing I don't like about them is their 'Gallery' for their pages. x____X It's so...bleh.
Not good for comics in my opinion.

Anyway, so my computer decided that it doesn't like it's Operating System anymore, so it's now telling me to reinstall it out of nowhere. I can't boot it up, and I can't reinstall it without losing it's memory until I get me one of those nifty little Externals. So basically, I'm screwed art-wise. And I'm really worried about the memory. I don't want to lose all my pictures and video, 'cause I never had anything to backup my files with. ;3; Though the dude over at Geek Squad (I don't like them, but he was a nice guy, so he's okay) told me I could just plug it into a different computer and transfer the files.

Problem is, I don't know how to do that yet. I mean, I could probably look up a video on freakin' YouTube or something on How-To, but I really don't want to risk it. 'Cause I might ruin the whole damn thing.

So anyway, I'm gonna see Mr. A+ about it (he fixed my laptop last time and did an awesome job) tomorrow. See what he can do to save my memory and restore my computer...and find out how much it is. xP

In the meantime, I'll be even MORE dead on here art wise than I have been. So...yeah. :{

It's the soccer version of 'The Longest Yard'. And it's good.
I've watched it three times already. xDD It's quite lulzy. Well written, love it.

Anyway, if you're any kind of Soccer fan, Vinnie Jones fan, or Jason Statham fan, I highly recommend it. :3 It's good fun.

Though, in a completely different area than 'Lock, Stock' or 'Snatch'. xD

It's always awesome to see a bit-part actor in the spotlight, starring in something. Really shows you that they deserve more of a variety of roles instead of being type-cast all the time.

Not that the roles VJ is famous for are bad ones.
Quite the contrary. xD

Anyway, he's a very talented actor, as well as Jason Statham. _{Christ they're in EVERYTHING together! XD}

Pretty awesome stuff.
If you can't tell, I've been in a Vinnie Binge for about two weeks now. _{Allow me to explain. Whenever I see a movie and an actor stands out to me a lot, I learn their name, look them up, and watch everything I can of theirs to get a) a range of their acting talents thus far and b) to decide whether I want to become a fan of this person or not. Usually I do. :3 But other times I'm not super impressed by their resume...like Olivia Wildes'...she was good in Year One, but she's only been in about five other thigns. xD And none of them sound like anything I'd be interested in. 'Cept Touristas.}

ANYWAY It's great fun. And much easier to appease than the Jeffrey Dean Morgan binge. Because JDM is in EVERYTHING....for about two seconds....
While Jones has bigger roles.
With lots of screen time.

Maybe someday both will be in the same movie...
Since Guy Ritchie is directing Lobo...
And JDM is interested in the role...
And Guy Ritchie loves Vinnie Jones...

I wont do a full report of the con, 'cause I'm far too lazy for that. But know that on Sunday Krio, Shikuya and I were Street!style Cross, Klaud and Sokaro and we were ridiculous.

I might do a mini-print of the GL!Poster...'cause I changed the resolution to help while I was coloring and now it's far too small for it's original purposes. :\ So...any recommendations?

Running out of time before the con...I'm wanting to get that LoZ!Heroes poster done, but I'm not sure if I will or not. I don't know why it's so difficult for me to draw the good guys. xD; But, I will try.

All is looking well for the con so far. Set up is Thursday....Uhhm...Cosplays came together nicely. Still need that headset for Scout but otherwise it looks good...

Gotta get some sketches done for the JetHawks...see if I can get a job there...so that's something to work on hardcore after con time is over. Busy season, yes it is.

Other than that. Yay! Halloween is almost here. Wonder what I should be....

Hmmmm...Wish I could pull off Sniper by then, but I highly doubt it. xDD

ALSO, after the con if anyone is interested in getting one of those prints I've put up let me know and I'll get one done for ya. I haven't figured out the pricing yet, but I will. xDD;

And after the year is over I think I'll be opening up commissions again, now that I know I can work fast(ish) and get them to you guys faster than before. (that plus the quality has improved and will hopefully continue to do so...) So yeah, if you're interested you know what to do. xD I'll post an official commission journal when the time comes and such so no worries there.

Should I do more prints...?

I'm feeling an epic lack of what to draw next...I know I need to do at least a Cross Poster, but other than that...
I don't know what to make a Print of...
I want to do some more things, like a few TF2s, and maybe some Naruto and One Piece (and characters that are actually popular from D.Gray-Man, lol). Throw in some Eyeshield and maybe an FMA or two...but it's like...

I'm crazy uninspired to draw any of them them. And at the same time, I really want to draw more for the con.

So I've come to you, my watchers and friends, to ask your opinion.

Should I a) keep drawing prints for ADX. You've only drawn DGM so far, and like, three other shout outs. Draw some more popular characters that'll actually make you some money! Maybe inspiration will hit me mid-picture and the creative juice will start flowing again.

or b) Meh, you'll make more prints when you feel like it. Just draw sketches at the con and sell those! I'm sure that'll work out fine...Right?

I probably won't be doing commissions, because I'm not very good at them and I'm not familiar with a lot of the popular characters out right now. I will however, be sketching and doodling like mad. Because me and Krio will probably be doing sketch!RPs back and forth at the table when the customers are lazy (and whenever Krio isn't working on her commissions). xDDDD

So...I donno what to do. :\
I've been lazing about all day not wanting to draw and yet wanting to draw more than anything. I'm gonna break and go work on revising Nexus for a bit...Maybe I'll wanna draw more prints after I get some panel-work out of my system. :3

Maaan...I can't believe this. I don't think I've ever worked this hard/nonstop on art in my life. xD It's just one after another after another. And when I take a break--I DRAW. I've come to realize...it really is all I wanna do. xDDD But what I can't believe is how much I miss drawing comics. I mean, posters and stills are all well and good, but I miss panels and speech bubbles and storylines so much it's starting to be all I can think about. D: So I guess I know what I'm getting back to once the con is over.

Crazy, I tell ya.
I really want to redraw the first chapter of Nexus completely. Keep the dialogue and all that crap, but redraw the art from start to finish (save maybe two pages I really like, but even then they might go on account of style change). Everything is so poorly done that when I tried to post it on SmackJeeves I deleted all of it because I COULDN'T STAND TO LOOK AT IT. And I know all of you loyal fans have been waiting so SO patiently for new chapters and pages, and I love you all for it and understanding that these things take time. So epic major AMAZING AMOUNTS OF LOVE to you guys and I'll try to get through them fast so you can enjoy higher quality work AND new stuff before you know it.

Will Turners Locker, I couldn't redraw those if I tried. That's one of those things where you just cannot replace the original. Lol But there will be new ones up weekly (starting November 2, mind you <3) so that's something to look forward to for you Sea Turtle Scouts in my audience.

Super Chibi and Evil only a few of you have even heard of...so that'll be fun for those of you who want to get into it. I love that series. It's one we've been working on since...gah, what was it, Link? Sophmore year? I remember that's when I learned of the term 'Nachtemar', but he was invented after the series was...xD; It was when squiddy.net had that shirt that said 'Evil Demands Chocolate Chips' and that inspired Evil, and then I made Super Chibi to counteract with him...and then boom...(see how amazing B-L is? An entire series based off of a freakin' T-Shirt slogan. Lol) So yeah. I unno. XD

On a random note, I'm going through Sniper withdrawls. I want to shoot something so bad it's unreal. xD (something virtual, no worries guys...though my brother is going shooting tomorrow...maybe I should go-- NO. WORK.) I haven't played TF2 in a long while now. Like actually sat down and played an entire match. It's insane how addictive that game is. AND YET I GO WITHOUT. -insert dramatic pose here-

I need to post to a few roleplays too...but probably won't tonight on account of me getting four hours of sleep last night. XD; I went to bed at 11:30. Didn't fall asleep until Four. Got up at eight. =______=; Do you know what I ended up doing out of sheer boredom and inability to sleep but the distaste of doing anything else...?

Everyone tells me this is from Scorpion King, but I've never seen that movie. Lol This caught my eye years ago (back when Charlie Browns sold GOOD weaponry) and my Dad bought it for me. The blade is six inches long and quite real. It's not as sharp as it could be, but those spikes on the handle are. xD The whole thing is a foot long (not counting the curve) and is my baby. <3

This one is a four inch. My dad calls it an arrowhead. xD I think my mom got it for me, but we can't remember. xDD So yeah, this is a pretty sharp one, especially that point. Very good quick thrust knife. Good weight to it too. But you have to be careful in how you grip it, because those other two edges will get your hand if you're not careful. Lol

Reason my friends don't see these very often is because a) people have a tendency to treat them like toys, which they are not and b) I forget to show them off. XD

But I love these knives. They're very nice, and both are very well made. I would count on these in a fight if it came down to it.

And there's a bunch of series's on our list, but I'm asking specifics here. Certain characters? A specific group of characters you'd like to see in the same picture? What do the fans desire?!

~MarvelousManga here. I know you're all thoroughly disappointed in me for being so damn lazy, but hear this! Good news is soon to arrive.

~Brother-Link and I have decided that we need to up our game and be more professional when it comes to our work. And, as you know, we work on more things than Will Turner's Locker. SO. Starting the first week of November, three of our comics will become weekly serializations. Why am I telling you all this?

Because Starting Wednesday, November 4th, Will Turner's Locker will be released on a WEEKLY basis. The reason we aren't beginning until November is simply because we want to have time to complete (and make beautiful) a good amount of comics so that we don't fall behind (as I am all too infamous for doing).

So there you have it. Wednesday, November 4th, ALL NEW Will Turner's Locker will be updated every week as a series. Along with Super Chibi and Evil on Mondays, and Nexus every Friday, for those who are interested. We'll be adding more of our projects to the list as time goes on and they get more solidified, but for now, those three will be our headliners.

Well, on Nexus anyway.

I've got three and a half new pages drawn out, two and a half in stick-figure form (did those in Washington though), working on a seventh right now.

Been looking up scores and instrumentals for inspiration, B-L sent me some good stuff too. :3

So far I've got Alone in the Dark, Transformers 2, Stardust, Pans' Labyrinth, some of Angels and Demons, Bond (a band from Krio :3), Position Orchestra (that Crimson showed me~<3), Danny Elfman: Music For A Darkened Theatre, and some from a German techno band (B-L sent me that as well). Still waiting on the music from Terminator: Salvation to finish. I wanted the OST from Year One, but it's unavailable to me at the moment. :\

Also been looking up Martial arts for the cast to use. Weapons, no weapons, and everything in between. Middle Eastern stuff came first. Pretty cool stuff there. Gonna mix and match for fun stuff for each (Fighting) character.

LINK. You are Shimon (aka Simon). He reminds me of Nexus!Link. Starts off as a coward, but becomes a TOTAL BADASS.

I don't know who I'm more like, personally.
Kamina is...absolutely ridiculous. And good at making epic points about things that either A) Don't make any sense or B) Don't matter by the end of the speech.
But
Kittan is absolutely insane. Or he CAN be anyway. And he's a total competition whore as far as I can tell.

ANYWAY.
My buds who haven't seen this series yet, I highly recommend it.

AX was pretty awesome too. Blistered my feet pretty bad though. (I got one on my heel the size of my thumb, but my heels are so calloused from walking barefoot so much that I stuck a safety pin almost an inch that part of my foot and couldn't feel a thing. o__O) Got to hang out with my Bulma, so that was fun.

But I'm not gonna lie, as fun as it was, I've realized that a con just isn't the same without my original posse. I missed you guys so much when I was there. (-has never been to a con without them before-) So next year, I'm gonna find out how all of us can go. At least the ones that can. Because yeah, I missed you people.

However, I do have new additions to my To-Do list. o3o
I now want to
a) Design and Cosplay an Arcanine Gijinka (Humanesque version)
b) Get into Gurren Laggen (because I love Kamina way too much already and I haven't even watched a full episode yet) and Fairy Tail (because now B-L AND Bulma have both told me it's amazing and I've been putting it off 'cause I'm lazy. xD)
c) Catch up on Naruto, One Piece, ES21, Bleach, FMA, and Trigun
d) Expand my manga/anime horizons



I didn't see a Krory at AX. Or a Kloud Nine. Sokaro I didn't expect to see, but the other two seemed to be getting more popular. :\ Made me sad.

I also missed SadoMaso and Krio while I was there. x_X Fail.

Hm. Next year.

But for now, I'm glad the con is over, very tiring. It was fun while it lasted, but it's DAMN good to be home.

I'm now back in a SokoxKloud mood though...thanks to a string of dreams I've had while away..

HOMGAH.

What a day.

So, here’s what happened.

Saturday:

Around 7:00pm, people start showing up. Krio arrived first and gave me a dragon figurine she’d come across at Michaels. Very awesome. Then Oro-san and Youko show up about five minutes afterward, and we all get to talking and visiting and such. We played a game of personalized Jeopardy consisting of Me-Trivia (Oro-san’s idea) and then got a game of Disney-Villains Monopoly…in which Krio completely wiped the board with all of us. So we turned it into Watchmen Monopoly, only our Rorschach(Oro-san) died first, I went second(Comedian), Ozzy(Youko) went out last and Dan(Krio) won, aka lived until the end of the movie. So that was fun. We finally went to bed close to midnight.

Sunday:

Woke up at 4:30am, went back to sleep, woke up again at 5am and started getting ready to leave with the others in tow. We finally left with mom at around 10 after six and headed off to Disneyland. Got on the tram at exactly 8am, so we missed the Opening Ceremonies, but it’s cool. We got to ride. So. Much. Stuff. Seriously, I’ve never gone on more rides in one day. We went on just about everything that we passed, unless the line was too long. We even walked through Aurora’s castle, which I’ve never done before. xD; It reminded us all of Zelda, THERE WERE SO MANY FLIGHTS OF STAIRS. But it was awesome. So then we headed off to Tomorrow Land and rode a few things there, and checked out the Innoventions display/ride? The Dream-home thing. It was amazing. They had a Peter Pan room. xD I wanted it.

After that we took off to Frontier Land and grabbed some lunch, since it was almost noon by the time we left that house. There we went and saw ‘Billy Hill and the Hillbillies’. That’s always a good show, but they were asking for new name suggestions, and Krio shouted ‘Shannon’ really loud from the balcony, and then Oro-san joined in, so from that point on they were ‘Shannon Hill and the Hillshannons’. It was hilarious. I also had to wear a huge ‘IT’S MY BIRTHDAY’ button that Disneyland gives you if it’s your birthday and you register online. So I got about fifty-thousand ‘Happy Birthdays’ from various people who worked there. Including one guy named Oscar (who we kept seeing throughout the park and shouted and applauded him whenever we did) and even one from Peter Pan when we all decided to join in the Conga line during the Parade. Youko told me that he’d said it when I turned just in time to see half a wave followed by him going back up the float. It was awesome, that guy is the best Pan ever. XD (That parade is excellent, by the way) Youko also flipped my pin (which was pinned to the hood of my DBZ sweatshirt) when some performer in a silver Knievel-style jacket danced in front of us, so he singled me out and lipsynced the song to me. After that we headed off to California Adventure. Best. Timing. Ever. We were walking through the park and ran into the HUGE Animation studio, which I’ve been DYING to go to. So we did the Disney’s Animation Academy thing and drew Goofy. May or may not post it, it’s just his face. xD Fun times. :3 So then mom suggested we headed out, so we went to leave through the Off The Page store, where Krio and I spazzed over an animation board with a rope around it. Just then, a girl walked into the booth and sat down. She looked kinda farmiliar, but it didn’t hit me until Krio did. She tapped my arm and whispered ‘…Is that Bri-chan?’ and I look at the name on the desk and sure enough it says ‘Brianna Garcia’. So I ask ‘Are you *bri-chan?’, feeling like a bit of an idiot. But she just smiled at us and said ‘Yes I am!’ So we all stood there and talked about dA and working for Disney and we introduced Youko when she came back from browsing and we talked again and then Oro-san came back from browsing, so we introduced her and she spazzed like we did. xD So we all talked again about how you get to become a sketch artist and the Mad Hatter and Pan and Wendy and Alice and it was just really cool. It was like meeting a celebrity for us, and at the same time it was just kind of meeting and awesome artist we didn’t know before and chatting it up. It was just cool and she was really nice. So my mom bought me a commission for my birthday of Peter Pan and we took off ‘cause she was about to take her break before we showed up.

From there we went to ride the Orange-shaped Swing ride and then the Grizzly River Run ride. Okay, so after my B-Day shebang is over, I'm gonna be doing nothing by Homework. All Day. Until it's done. For a Week.

I don't have a HELL of a lot to do, but it's still quite a lot.

1) Read 'The Black Dahlia'
2) Watch 'The Black Dahlia'
3) Do an 11 page report on the difference between the book and the movie
4) Finish the Full-Color Minutemen Poster (20x30 Illustration Board)
5) Complete 15 Math Assignments Online and study for Final

All before June 1st.

So yeah. Needless to say this weekend is my last break. Once I'm back at school on Tuesday, it's gonna be Hell Week. It'll be good for my self-discipline, since I've slacked since Day 1.

Still gotta do Financial Aid stuff for next semester too. And sign up for classes, but I won't have to do that until probably July.

I have school tomorrow, like everyone else, but I've only got three more weeks of school left and then I'm gone for a month. D: Which means I've got a month to get my AX ticket...and hopefully a new camera. Mine is being a douchebag and won't stay on even though we JUST put brand new batteries in it. :\ Hfff.

I donno. I'm really excited about this summer. But I'm feeling pretty anxious too. Seeing as I won't get to spend my vacation at home. Maybe it's a good thing. It's gonna be hard coming back from Dad's though. Really hard. Hum, of well. No choice, I've gotta come home.

Not only that, but I've gotta go to Nebraska to see Brother-Link! 83

I'm looking forward to that, but it's gonna suck leaving there too. D:

Phwee, in other news, my birthday is exactly a week away now. <<; So...that's cool? I'm headed to Disneyland with mi madre and ~Yachiru-chan18. Lulz. It's gonna be fun. So, I won't be home 'til Sunday night, and on Saturday I've got my cousin's wedding to go to. D: She's MY age, and getting married. Good God.

Anywho, so yeah, if anybody wants me next weekend, you best be telling me soon so I can pencil you in. xD; I will be gone literally ALL DAY Sunday, and half the day Saturday. So yeah. Fun stuff.
