I've been trying to keep myself sane by relearning to embroider, drawing and keeping a few art diaries. All in all, I'm now much a hermit than ever before.

I've been sick most of the time, guess I'm not used to being out into the big world anymore. [Just random, shits, spews and now getting over flus.] All that and stay away from doing 2 weeks straight Sangsom Thai Whiskey, that stuff sends you to the asylum... no really. It's the equivalent to 5 doses of of the normal hit of anti depressants in one day. OUCH! It was fun though... and painful.

As some of my closests and dearests already know, I've gotten engaged to ~s9 in August. So Im all excited, happy, nervous, scared and all the other weird emotions that go with it. But there's no doubt we're lucky and all that gross gooey stuff that couples say. I'm personally just happy there's someone out there that can put up with my insanities, that and has some himself! :D My mum loves him! Ha!

I've just developed 8 rolls of film... so beware, there's gunna be a slow update here and there as I tirelessly scan them negs.

Oh yeah, Im back at work today... so some things shall be interesting as I settle myself in again.

I've won a mini portrait passport camera, original sx70, holga with polaroid back added to my small collection of pola cams. I've got black and white 600 film, 40 shots. Extremely rare... and no idea what to shoot with it. 100 shots of 600 film. About 200 and something or more shots of various type 100, including black and white, id uv passport, etc.

Own an original flash for my sx70. A borrowed close up lens from my =s9.

And itching to spend more.

Lately been overwhelmingly tired, especially since I do weather observations now. Not hard work at all, just have to wake up at 12am every night armed with a torch against snakes.

Basically need to do as much as I can, so I can go back to perth briefly for doctor visits. That and I miss my family and pals gravely.

I've realized that Im not cut out for 9-5, 5-7 days a week jobs. Still at the video store and still loving it. Despite being a complete clutz and idiot. Im just saving as much as I can, while I can.

I got my permanent residency for Australia this week [not citizenship, yet]. Which means, I dont have to go back to South Africa and can officially call Australia home. It already felt that way, but even more so.

Got 3 fillings and need a few more before I can do anything about my wisdom teeth. All four are coming out at once. All I ask is once their pulled if I can keep them, clean then and fix them into necklaces.

I prefer searock crisps to candy.

Bought a 320gig external hardrive and feel like such a happy geek about it.
