Oopsy But I can't go back to bed.

There was a new moon a little while back, once again when we were going home from West Ruislip station - and I felt a little jittery but I was in the car so there was no question of another stag night. Bummer
Had to spend most of my last weekend in the royal society of chemistry. Extremely dull, until I ate an alchoholic raspberry from someone's champange and got a wee bit tiddly.

Things were bad at school, people bitching about my mates and being really nasty. I get very defensive if one of my friends is in trouble (same for online pals!) and while I tried to see both sides it eventually made me so upset I had a sort of mini fit and had to spend virtually all afternoon in the nurse's office. Oopsy again

But it's one week until the end of term, and my smelly psychotherapist/unofficial second mum/life coach still expects me to come for my session. Yeah, I'll wait for an hour and a half after school breaks up to sit with an irritating woman making up stuff and making me cry. But school's nearly out for Easter, w00t.

I found a plastic swordfish in the changing rooms. It's kawaii!

Performed the Crucible for my drama GCSE. I was Parris, who's not actually a very nice character to play. HE SUCKS SO BAD. But anyway, I loved doing the actual thing - even if someone spilt the cider from one of the John Proctor scenes all over Danforth's table so when I carried it offstage it all went down my arm. Ick.

There are some very cringey photos from it, which I might post...

Excuse my blank shaky journal, I'd just been in a wee accident on the bus and was feeling a bit funny.

Well, today is Imbolc aka St Brighits Day aka Candlemass. Pinch punch, first of the month, white rabbit, white rabbit, white rabbit. Two good things:-

1. It's a Friday. Cue weekend!
2. It's the first day of spring. Cue Pagan Festival!

I haven't done much in terms of Ritual. Last night I meditated, did some exercises, dug out an old wine glass and drunk some juice from it. Not too much, but its enough for the moment. Tonight I cooked some pancakes and put a little square of purple felt outside, in connection with ancient belief that Brighit, both a goddess and a saint, walks the earth tonight and will bless any bits of cloth she finds put outside for her. Tomorrow I will be in Boar's Hill and can do some rit there. I might henna my hands as well...

As for everyone else, have a good day and a relaxing weekend.
Excuse me everyone, but I need to let off a little bit of steam. Today, I bumped into one of the idiotic comics by Jack Chick, an OTT Christian who believes the only way to be his own religion is to call everyone elses religion stupid. Seriously, he opposes Islam, Judaism, Catholicism, Freemasonry, Paganism and virtually any other faith PLUS rock music and Harry Potter.

However, all his arguments are completely flimsy because he gets his facts totally wrong. For example, Witches DON'T have spirit guides, New Agers do. But THAT'S fine because that's what they practice and what they believe. But, for god's sake, don't get them confused.

Another point, which may slightly offend people, but the King James Bible ISN'T the perfect word of god, I'm afraid. It's the perfect word of King James But just because there are different ones doesn't mean Satan has played around with them. Maybe if you want the original word of god, Mr Chick, flick back to the older bibles where it says 'Thou shalt not suffer a poisoner to live' instead of 'Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live'.

And, in the end, he's not doing his own religion any favours because he makes God and Jesus sound absolutely terrifying, and about how you'll go to hell anyway even if you pray and read the bible every day. I know a couple of Christians who I know are NOT going to hell because they are sweet and loving people who care about their fellow men, just like Jesus said they should. Never mind all the other stuff.

I'm trying to embrace other religions, but I hate Jack Chick because he affects the way I channel my anger and makes me think I hate Christianity. Which I DON'T. Anyone who says love thy neighbour is pretty high up in my books. But Jack Boy, crawl back under your rock. Your drawings suck, you can't spell ("This is scarey* in Curse of Baphomet), you get your facts wrong and you bring shame on your own religion.

I would've done a ritual too - but I've come down with 'flu and I don't feel up to it. But I borrowed my sister's dollac (drum) and sang and played along to some Goddess chants.
It's comming up a New Moon, and I've noticed I'm going a bit weird recently. On Thursday I was really happy and hyper the whole time, but couldn't concentrate in Russian or Biology. After a while, it drained away and I managed to get my Physics hwk done.
It happened again last night. I was on the way home from a trip into London (which had many highlights, including when Mumbles and I started playing hangman in the Assyrian carving room of the British Museum, and got the giggles while a posh guide was telling all these tourists about the stuff), my feet felt like they were on fire, I was depressed and exhausted on the Tube and generally dragged myself about like a gastropod. However, as soon as we got out of West Ruislip, where we'd parked the car, I suddenly felt full of beans. There was a little slope on the other side of the road from the station, which I ran down impulsively. What I was actually doing was pretending to be a stag.
I didn't mean Stag Night as in men getting drunk and putting the groom-to-be on a train to Scotland, I meant running around and having a huge amount of fun, bemusing innocent Asian shopkeepers when going in to get orange juice, looking at the stars through cloud and light pollution, falling asleep in the car and waking up with a splitting headache and a full bladder. XO
Things cooled down a bit later on, and I'm still feeling all gentle and gooey. I had some funny dreams, and a boring day ahead, but I think I can brave it.

Ok, my view may be biased because Baphomet is actually a god I worship but this is absolutely ridiculous. It ticks off both Masonry AND Islam, and I find it abominable that Chick Publications could dare to be so evil to one of their sister religions.
Masonry is NOT witchcraft, and what's wrong with witchcraft anyway? Wicca is not anti-christain, no matter what people say - especially this fat-headed, badly drawn piece of junk.

The Rules of this Tagging Game:
The 1st player of this "game" starts with the topic "6 weird habits/facts/dislikes about yourself" and people who get tagged must write in their journals about their 6 weird habits/facts/dislikes as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next 6 people to be tagged and list their names. Don't forget to leave a comment that says "you're tagged" in their deviant page comments and tell them to read yours.

1. I don't like washing or changing my clothes. Yes, I know - but it isn't going to change.

2. I hate sunshine. I'm really pale because I don't tan - I burn. I'm quite freckly though - a friend once counted them and said I had 86 freckles on my face ><

3. My eyes used to be blue, then green, then grey. Then they became this really scary, steely blue-grey with brown veins. And they change colour depending on my mood!

4. I love peas :3 And I hate chocolate

5. I never tie my shoelaces properly. I tie a knot and wrap the laces around my ankles or the soles of my feet and secure. It sounds weird but it looks cool

6. I play the xylophone...like Patrick Moore. I also play snare drum (military drum with a rattle bit on the bottom) and timpani (big, orchestral drums - bit like kettle drums). I'm grade 4 in all of them.

Been on holiday again, but it was a bit of a disaster at first. She had to have two days of RICE (rest, ice, compression bandage and elevation) and our Norfolk plans were cancelled. Poor old Woug went mad, because she couldn't run around like she usually does.
She's alright now, hopping around and otherwise swinging herself around on crutches. She drew lots of gorgeous Rakus as well, one of which I will try and get her to post.

As for yours truly, I am fine. Sitting for some hours in the John Radcliffe children's section drove me mad. All those poor kids crying, I went completely OCD by the end of it. Plus, when Woug went to have her x-ray, I had to sit outside on my own. I was terrified.
On saturday night, I couldn't sleep a wink until about five in the morning. Pretty shattered, but optimistic.
Now, to give Woug a huggle.

Be warned, a serious rant is approaching.

I accept that different people have different beliefs, but I feel really pissed now with everyone who has ever looked down on Paganism or Wiccanism. Recently, I have come across several things that make me fume.

Firstly, I found a website called [link] which really grinds my gears. I am willing to embrace Christianity with open arms and a cup of hot cocoa, but I do not like it when certain people use their faith as an excuse to bad mouth those of others. Delusion Resistance has a page in which they present various pieces of Pagan imagery and criticise them. I was especially furious when I was presented with a picture of Baphomet, one of the gods that I worship, and Can anyone with a clear moral conscience actually think that anything like this can have anything to do with a Holy God? wirtten below.

I'll tell you who does. Yours truly.

Another piece of Baphomet related anger occured closer to home - at school. The year 7's have a display of their own plays on Medieval depictions of Heaven and Hell. Also stuck on the board were several printed-out pictures, with chubby cherubs above and a blatant picture of Baphomet as drawn by Eliphas Levi. What hurts even more is that whoever did this could not have found that picture without actually writing the name Baphomet into Google.

I am going to find whoever did this and kick them very hard.

We can all settle our differences if people can stop being so ignorant of others' religions. I know there are lots more people out there who will be hurt and upset about this sort of behaviour. Some sources say Wiccans or Witches do not worship Baphomet, but to me he is the child of both the Horned God and the Goddess.

And now I must sit down and have another eggnog...yum...

And this time it isn't about hurricanes (which is a mental breakthrough for me)

It's the E*ster Hols now But in the dream, we had to go back to school for three extra days because we'd missed a chance to increase our academic potential or some crap like that (which I don't give a toss about). So second thing we had RS, which we randomly made sandwiches for. Mr Packard tried my spinach sandwich, and said it was gross and everyone laughed at me because I was eating my own sandwiches (they others made choccie spread sarnies and stuff, so they didn't exactly cater to my tastes).
So in break, I felt really depressed and was randomly brushing my teeth on the stairs. Ellie, Hetty and Izzy were hanging around, and I heard them talk about my sarnies. So I threw my toothbrush down the stairs and started crying, but I got in trouble for damaging school property. I cried and cried until came to rescue me and took me to the school nurse. Unfortunately, Ellie and the gang where there as well, apparantly disturbed by my brush-throwing fit. But they forgave me, and we went to the IT room to play on powerpoint.

The End

Well, I have been around for a while. There, I've said it. I joined on Mar 26, 2005, 11:25 PM, which was 96 weeks and 3 days ago. If I remember correctly, it was Easter day that year. My sister had already made dozens of friends and adoring fans and I had to grab some glory.
Unfortunately, I didn't go about it in the right way. I thought everyone would come rushing and tell me I was a genius like they seemingly had to my sister. But instead, I spent the first month of devianthood with only 12 pageviews. I considered quitting, thinking I could get internet fun out of Neopets. But my sister's populartiy grew, and I was inevitably pulled back to deviantart.
I wasn't going to make the same mistake again. La Souer advised me me not to wait for people to come to me, but come to them first. So I started looking at new deviations and new deviants and clicking the random deviant button. I found via his deviation of a snail, as a random deviant, and as a new deviant.
My sister and I were making a joint avatar one day, and MasamRay or Massy was born. She was basically a green version of my sister's character, Raku, with different head apendages - based on when I played a Pucklet in a Midsummer Night's Dream and put my hair up with pipecleaners.
A couple years on, I'm still the messy little kid I have always been. Only this time I can always rely on friends and allies to approve and be helpful to me. The stupid, depressing freak is gone. And I haven't changed my ID for ages.
What would really be nice though, really REALLY nice, would be some fanart. I've been hankering for ages and I've never got any. I'm willing to do trades (i.e. you do me a drawing, I do you a drawing).
Anybody?

Hellooo...just to let you know that I'm still here. The only reason that I'm not posting anything is because the scanner is being a bitch and will not work *snuffles*.
Schools out and I've spent a monday at home, being pensive again. I'm looking at a group of characters for my planet in the andromeda galaxy. I think they might be related to the muslim related topics you hear about in the news. Despite their odd religious beliefs, dress and the way they talk - all they really want to do is keep their old traditions alive as debt and social crisis start to drive them headlong into an alarming society where they are frowned upon.
I was watching The Black Halloween :[link] and when I clicked on the journal link I suddenly discovered that the little girl with the spray is actually a quack. Seriously...I had NO idea that the beak was so long. In our history books it just looked like a leather gas mask. It reminded me of austrian masks I'd seen on a programme about the four seasons by vivaldi. I remember, back in the old days of my planet I had a character called The Impostor :[link] who could split into about seven sort of worms wearing these quackish masks.
I started toying with the idea of re-introducing quack-masked characters into my reformed planet and thought about my muslim-inspired characters. I knew females resembled the central figure from The Scream :[link] and needed to wear elbow-length globes, black hooded robes and were supposed to cry every time they passed a temple (they chew on some sort of plant with a bitter taste that burns the throat and makes the eyes water). But what about the males? Surely a muslim-in-the-press-and-scream-inspired society could adopt quack masked characters too?
So I drew some stuff on handy pieces of paper and the masks have become something that males have to wear to preserve their modesty. They wear similar robes to females as well as belts, chains and the tell-tale masks. They are forbidden to talk to a female or do anything without her consent, or else they are flogged. Touching a female is punishable by have eyes gouged out, and the penalty for hitting one is death.
As soon as my scanner gets its act together, you should see some of my fellas up here.

I have been playing Age of Mythology and thinking about Beltane (FYI Beltane is my comic which has been on hiatus for donkeys years). I think I will re-do the pages that I have done, for various reasons. These include the fact that they did not include the sequence where the Admiral turns into the Cugenoth, which made the story hard to follow. That, combined with the fact the Cugenoth has changed design, means a remake will be underway. I'm afraid that I can't do the three-pages-a-day update when I first started because there aren't any more holidays! Boo hoo!

However, Christmas is comming, the turkey's getting fat, I'm still underweight, I've got 'flu and I don't even celebrate christmas. But the upside is HOLIDAYS!! Plus, horrible Ms Edgerly (a hockey teacher) is leaving!
Talking of Nuuu, I have a bad earworm of Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite! I wuv the Beatles, but this is madness! An overdose of Animutation should do the trick.
Last Sunday, I tried to do Riverdance in the kitchen...in my slippers. I slipped over eventually, twisted by ankle and then landed on top of it. Owch. But hopefully, Mumbles will write me a note asking for me not to play hockey. Every cloud has a silver lining.
Thought a lot about Beltane while away. I will probably re-do the first couple of pages featuring the Cugenoth. This is due to his re-design, which I think was for the better. He doesn't look like a lobster anymore.

Hockey is official the worst sport in the world. Netball is the most pointless and annoying, but hockey is god dam PAINFUL! I tried to fit a boil in the bag mouthguard today - it was too big for my mouth and gave me blisters on the top of my mouth when I had to wear it for an hour. I hadn't warmed up when we started doing a STUPID practice for a game. I started hyperventalating and felt as if I was going to faint. It was pure torture. I still feel weak thinking about it.

I'm going to consult and see if their are any Paganism-based religions that forbid the playing of Hockey and Netball.
Dance tomrrow is cool, though. We're doing dance drama to Saint-Saens' Danse Macabre, a very nice piece of truely Halloweenie music. I'm a cretinous mutation, all green and grey and trailing bits all over the floor. SUPER fun, especially as I get to maul about a little girl. But last time, I grazed my knee sliding along a wooden floor. OUCH.

Anyway, enough of me whinging and for some very important news. She is the best big sister in the whole world. Soon, she'll be opening her pressies and I'll be so proud she's my best friend.

Also, I'm really annoyed because some bitch at school STOLE MY GRAPES!! GRRR, if I find 'em I'll eat them instead!

People have been asking about my four supernatural groups of beings, so here are some brief descriptions...

Dreamons:- Airy spirits who dedicate their lives to protecting children and saving humans from the dangerous acts of the Marequink, their arch enemies. They live inside or above clouds and regularly travel down to earth to check up on things.

Marequink:- Deamonic creatures who live in underground caves coated with tar. Their existance inflicts all forms of suffering on mankind and give children nightmares. They claim not to be evil, but Dreamon researchers know that Gia and Yana are skilled liars.

Shadows:- Shadows were born from the same elemental blackness as Marequink, but in contrast are good-natured and easy-going. They are naturally invisible to humans and are only visible to a select number of beings. They often find abandoned settlements and turn them into charming little villages, where they live. Jasper is a shadow.

Trolls:- Slow, stupid creatures usually without hearing or vision. They are easly persuaded into becoming surface slaves for Marequink and even Dreamon sometimes use them to help them with some stuff. Humans were banned from using them after Dreamon caught some drunks telling a clueless Troll to walk off a dangerous cliff edge.

Being the paranoid sort of person I am, I checked my printouts (we're only allowed to print a certain amount of things each term at school, or we have to pay for the extra printouts. Luckily, they get refreshed each term) one fine winter's morning with my friends. It turned out I had 89 printouts (so much for being paranoid).

Inspired by the tragedy of me having 89 printouts and basically NOTHING to print, my friends told me I should print off the eight page story I'd finished before the christmas holidays. Two of them started reading it, one never finished but the other did. However, when the second was finishing it off another of my friends asked if she could read it and proceeded to read the whole kaboodle in our french lesson! (customer satisfaction!)

My darling has also read it three or four times and absolutely adores it (or so she tells me). My friends just had to mention that it was eight pages long to some other people in year and THEY started saying I should show our english teacher (which I haven't, I'm too bashful).

My friends had a brainwave that I should send it to a publisher. I wasn't, and still am not quite so sure, but my friends are twisting my arm. The next week I was presented with a list of publishers and their contact detials. Hmmm.

So, I'm playing metal tug of war. Should I, shouldn't I? It's too short to be published on it's own, but the main character, Muka, has six team mates. An eight page story for each of them makes...lets see...96 pages. Then and again, they might be put off if they know a crazy 12 year old has written it. Ooh arr...
