The only thing that hurt about it was buying it, actually forking over the $400 dollars that it cost. It doesn't hurt now especially when I remind myself my tax rebate is coming soon. However just the act alone was enough to make me crawl under a rock (something I didn't feel when I bought my laptop)
I am happy with it however.
Now then, I think I'm going to make a second deviantart account dealing only with photography, I look at my site now and realize it's sort of a catch all and that part of the reason nobody sees my stuff (apart from me not being social enough) is that there's no theme, it has no basis that people can look at and say "This guy's a photographer." I am still debating however and perhaps with my new camera (SQUEE!) I can finally have a real reason to start a new account.

While the comic writer of this one has some sort of commitment issue it doesn't stop his occasionally updated comic from being amazing with it's creative art style and interesting story-line.

Not your grandfather's comic this is like American Pie meets porn with it's crude humor coming off in a way that makes it not one for kids.

Another comic writer who has a problem with commitment, much like DA's Endling I might add this comic gives a humorous take on a pair of friends lives.

A truly adorable comic, it tells the story of, well I guess the name says it all.

Along with that Tim Buckley honestly thinks he's one of the 'comic geniuses' of our generation, a thought that is not helped by his legion upon legion of crazed obsessed CADfag fans. While his art has always been subpar, with real pictures hidden in the background, mostly movie posters and what-not which draw one's attention away from the strip at hand.

However, grievances aside today's strip ([link]) impresses me as no other CAD strip has before it. The premise behind it is fairly simple-minded, ie genocide is funny. But for once Tim Buckley has actually done something that resembles good humanistic art in his strip. The redhead's (I forget her name)expressions are a step above and beyond the norm of the CtrlAltDel experience. For once it actually looks like he took some added time to make his characters look less like himself (ie Ethan and Lilah's ex boyfriend) and more human. Whether this is an attempt to push himself or just the fact that I'm reading too much into it, it seems he's beginning to mature with his comic.

Perhaps I'm wrong perhaps the CADfags are right maybe CAD is the new messiah. I'm sure if they found this post the flames would equal that of a nuclear bomb. I'm sure someone who reads this bit is sure to have an opinion, if so I'd love to hear it.

First off, so many people are saying that Obama is going to be the force that changes America, however here's the real deal. PRESIDENT'S CAN'T DO ANYTHING. President's are there to take the fall for our governments mishaps. They can suggest things but they can't actually do anything. They have no real power, that belongs to congress, which happens to have a democrat majority right now. So if you want to blame our problems on someone, blame the damn democrats. They do plenty of that already. Along with that Obama is a self-obsessed narcissist, you need only watch his channel for 3 minutes to figure that out. His wife along with the fact is one of the most annoying bitches I've ever heard, and people say Palin is bad. The sad part is that he's going to win the election, obviously. Likely the only states that will vote McCain are those southern states that previously broke off from the USA. Those states that believe blacks should be bought not heard. How's that for your "change"?

Secondly all the people, teenage girls especially that post comic after comic of poorly drawn "anime" crap are neither funny nor artistic, more like autistic. Chibi, or those comics that portray people as round-headed, cat mouthed kawaii slinging cowboys cannot produce anything nearly considered art and are merely making most hate the Japanese culture altogether.

Speaking of the Japanese culture, the creepiest thing I've seen in some time is those Yumi dolls. These are not cute, they're not awesome, they are wholly ridiculous and scream "I need to get laid" They cost thousands upon thousands of dollars and make you look like a crazy cat lady. And when someone here posts picture after picture of them it makes it worse.

A friend of mine has just finished the Deathly Hallows and it reminded me how much I hated the epilogue.
