I've cleaned up my rather cruddy gallery. You won't see any more pictures here; my submissions will be purely writing because that's all I can do.

My junior year of high school is half way over; exams are this week. I've enjoyed this year far more than last year.

Hey, it turns out that being depressed for a prolonged period of time is actually good for you. Because once you stop being that way, you appreciate things a lot more.

Once over the summer, my dad works in the rehab department. I was only there so I could leave and go bum around the city for a couple hours.

Once, sitting on a couch left by the side of the road with my friends in the rain in the middle of the night.

I'll start with exchange students. My school's language department participates in a foreign exchange program, but only with German students. French students get to go to France in spring, but no French kids come here.
Anywho, I applied in like early January and by the end of this month (March) I'll know about the German kid coming to live with me for three weeks this September. I might end up taking him/her to my aunt's wedding which should be fun. Then I'm going there for three weeks next summer, the end of my sophomore year, beginning of my junior year.

Moving on, today was course selection day at my school. So basically, my four main teachers, English, History, Math, and Biology, recommend the courses for me to take next year: CP (College Prep), H2 (Honors 2) or in the case of English, H1 (Honors 1) it's slightly higher than H2. Then I get to choose six electives, I'll get three, but in the case that one that I don't get into one, I pick six: Theatre Skills II (Continuation of TSI which I took this year) Creative Writing, Web Page Design, Microsoft Applications, World Foods I (One out of two), and Musical Theatre (I can take this when I'm a junior or senior so I don't need to now)

This is how my four main subjects played out:
-From Geometry CP, To Algebra II CP (I wanted Honors II, but it would be "too hard")
-From Honors Biology, To Honors Chemistry (SCORE! I wanted this so badly)
-From Honors American Studies, To Honors American History (No more Moner Honer!!! YAY!!!)
-From Honors German Level I, To Honors German Level II (One step closer to my exchange student)
-From Honors English, To Honors I English (YES! Thank you, Mr. Abisi! I was so happy about this, I wanted it SOOO much)

So yeah, that was my day. My final draft of my history paper is due tomorrow. Romeo and Juliet project due sometime next week, and the paper for R&J is due Tuesday.

In other news, Moner Honer still sucks!
So yeah.

So I told him that I hate his class and that mock Senate wasn't helping me learn how a bill becomes a law. And that I haven't learned anything in over a month**. And that I hated everyone in my class. And that I"d learn much better if we didn't waste time with idiocy like make believe government. I was realistic when I told him that nobody ever cares about what I say because they're always yelling at him and each other.*** So I sit in the corner getting a migrane.

So I sat through "Idiot Senate" listening to ideas copied from Mr. Honer and slowly growing more and more homicidal and angry at everyone around me.

Then twenty minutes ago my mom got an email from Moner Honer telling her about my complaits and that I was very respectful but very unhappy.**** So my mom just asked me what was wrong with my class and I told her that it wasn't really Mr. H, it was the morons in my class who can't shut their goddamn mouths! Plus Honer enjoys a student driven teaching environment. I DO NOT get along with my peers!!! You can't have a student driven class when the student's can't drive.

Now my mom wants me and her to have lunch with Mr. H and discuss a solution. I can (1) Move to Mr. R's class where it's just as bad except that Repucci's a hardass. (2) Move down to CP (College Prep) which is the class for total morons or (3) Continue in my current class and continue being unhappy cynical Jess.

I'm sticking with number 3, it's still the best.

Thank you for enduring my rant. I cried for ten minutes after I talked with my mom.

*Last year, before I was there, the school had a bomb scare. Nothing happened but afterwards it was desided to lock the bathrooms during the day and afterschool. So basically, they're never open.

So on like Tuesday, I went to a meeting for my school's "color day". It's like three days before November break when our whole graduation class wears one color and there's a theme every year for one of the other days (This year is Fairy Tales) and another day where we wear our school colors, green and white.

So I went to the meeting and all the other people brainstormed some fairy tales for the grad class to write a skit about and for the other students in the class to dress up as the characters of the fairy tale. 90% of the ideas weren't even real fairy tales! So we ended up with Peter Pan......NOT A REAL FAIRY TALE!!! I don't care what anyone else says, it's not!

And after that we had to pick our color for color day. And we were SOOOO close to having black be our color. But then this girl named Hannah says, "But black's not a happy color! We can't wear black!" So after some arguing, black get's dropped and we end up with teal.....

So then I do to play rehersal after the meeting and I'm about the whole teal thing. Apparently this girl named Cecily notices how mad I am and she asks what's wrong so I tell her and she totally agrees with me, I guess the juniors had black for a color so they all got t-shirts and this one guy Jake still has it and he wears it everynow and again.

After a while, I wasn't so pissed so I lightened up and talked to my girlfriend, Alicia. I use girlfriend as a friend who is a girl, and nothing more. So there's this guy in the play named Ben and he's wicked nice and cool and I like him a lot . SO he was talking with Alicia and I was watching the rehersal and after Ben leaves, Alicia leans foreward and asks me, "Do you think Ben is gay?" and I said yeah, because if you met him and spent some time with him, you'd think it too. And Alicia wants to go out with him but she's really scared of him being gay, I told her not to worry about it.

Wednesday, I found out that our class color had been changed to yellow because our class officers feared that nobody had anything teal. YELLOW IS EVEN WORSE!!! I'M BLONDE!!!!! There's a reason for me wearing black all the time! Because light colors make me look REALLY REALLY BAD!!!

Then yesterday, I was supposed to go to my orthodontist and get my new retainer after lovely Brodie chewed it up. And I found out that they close early on Thurs. That kind of ticked me off.

So today was okay. Yay for Friday the 13th. I have a Biology project I have to do over the weekend. And today I though I had rehersal, but it turned out it was only for problems and I didn't know that I didn't need to be there because my one scene has no problems so I was stuck at school until 5, but rehersal ended at 4 so I was doing nothing for an hour. But Cecily once again made me when I was , by catching assorted food stuffs that people threw at her in her mouth. Late in rehersal they we fixing a scene where these three characters are getting together to find somebody and so they way they're talking makes it sound like a bad "Justice League" take-off so I mentioned that to Cecily and she goes into a laughing fit and says "To the Batcave!" So then everyone had a good and I was happy...

And then Hannah and her friend Erica were evidently stuck at school too so we were all sitting outside and my friend Byron's bag is sitting on the stairs with us along with someone's bag with the initials E.M. and a little bag of Sunchips is sitting with them. H&E get really hungry so they decided to eat the Sunchips thinking they were Byron's and that he wouldn't care. He never cares. I think some kid called me a Nazi a couple days ago but I'm not sure so I'll just let it go.

I worked my arse off for eight and a half hours yesterday doing a lab report for Biology, a rough draft of a paper for English, a character analysis for Theatre and a journal for theatre. Now I'm editing the rough draft and lab report and I have more history notes and other stuff...

I have no life, but I'm going to TWO Barenaked Ladies concerts, one in Boston and one in Manchester, I think. And I have like four extra tickets so I have friends to bring

My friend Kay got in huge trouble because of something she did with her boyfriend, I'm not gonna say what it is, and her dad, one of the most carefree easy-going nice men I've ever met, got SO pissed, he locked himself in her parents room for like four hours until he left to go play poker. I don't know how her mom took it but let's just say that Suzanne is the exact opposite of Jerry. I haven't gotten to talk to Kay, but chances are I won't for a while.

I'm tired and I have to work....

Anyway, during Biology this morning, Ms. RK let us start taking notes for homework. So I'm sitting there jotting down stuff about enzymes (SOOOOOO exciting! *NOT*) and I come to some thing about 'activation energy', the energy needed to cause a chemical reaction, and I start kinda laughing to myself because "ACTIVATION ENERGY!!!" SOOO sounds like something that a super hero would say, so I went around for the rest of the day saying activation energy to myself.

And then on the next page, there's a part called 'Enzyme Action' more super hero phrases.

I swear I'm going to write a story about a superhero called EnzymeMan, just for fun, and those will be his heroic sayings!

PS: I'm officially addicted to cookies, I mean, The Nightmare Before Christmas in German because it is teh awesome! And I want to see the whole movie but so far all I have are the songs on Youtube, Youtube is my best friend by the way...

Aanyway, I'm in the middle of taking some history notes on the Revolutionary War and a little bit of time before. And I realized that A LOT of things happened in the years before/after and year of the building of my house.

Anyway, yeah, today was my first day back. I was given a busted locker so I had to carry everything home in my bag so my shoulder kills right now.

Otherwise, high school kicks middles school's ass. By far. Except that we have a seven day rotation that makes next to no sense. And the times of our lunches rotate so that just made things even more confusing.

I only got lost once though.....all I had to do was go across the hall, and I somehow got lost.

I'm not in classes full of morons now. YAY!!!! Except for my Writing Lab, but that's required no matter what level you're on. I'm in the moron math class though so that sort of stinks.


My feet hurt. A lot. But I only have one more day before I'm off for four days, then it's every day until like mid-October *Thanks Columbus even though you didn't really discover America, so I don't know why we gave you a day*

I really want to finish reading Ptolemy's gate. *Jonathan Stroud is teh bestest!* So I can start reading Good Omens......


Uh, anyway, I have nothing more to say except that: Ow, my feet hurt.

That was one of the bestest concerts EVAH!!

Right on the harbor and it was like uber cold! FOR ONCE!!

Anyway, there were, sort of, two opening bands, one was, uh, something wave, Rouge Wave maybe....and then Yonder Mountain Strings Band who were SO FREAKING AWESOME!!!

Ray LaMontagne wasn't the opening guy anymore because he freaked out in Nashville because he was preforming and some guys were just talking and carrying on, not paying attention. So he freaks out and starts shouting, "I guess you don't appreciate the blues!" and going on and on and swearing and everything. Then he stromed off the stage, so now I don't think Guster wants him around anymore.

THANK GOD!

So I'm there trying to boo but I'm laughing too hard because way behind me up in the corner, they'd started chanting 'GUSTER SUCKS, GUSTER SUCKS!' So Ryan and everyone come back out and he says, "We know we're in Boston because you guys took a stupid idea and made it even stupider!'

And I got a t-shirt. But my feet hurt REALLY REALLY bad after the concert and they still do!

Alright, I'm tired, going to bed, it's 1:12 in the morning now.

I shouldn't be smiling about that....

Anyway, my mom and I went to see Dave Mathews Band last Saturday. It was okay except for the pot smokers who made me sick then a jerk stood in front of me for the whole three hours and forty-five minutes that the concert ran. But it was rather amusing to watch all the drunk guys walking around high-fiving everyone. And see one of them get into a fight, security stepped in, but they didn't throw him out. I wished they had though, he tried sitting in a seat that wasn't his.

And now next Saturday, my mom, my friend, her mom and I are going to see Guster in Boston! Squee!! Local boyz of awesome-ness!

Anyway, this whole week I've been taking a test my dumbass state makes us take. We call it MCAS, Massachusetts Comperhensive Asessment System. The tests are frickin' easy. I've been taking practicaly the same test twice a year for 5 years....it's such a waste!


Why do I have to live in the state with the most retarded name?

Except for maybe Idaho.......

Life's been a little better lately. Emma's still in the show and we're not all pissed at each other anymore. I'm kinda mad at Toney though 'cause he's gonna miss being at my cast's first preformance(our "opening night")but, Robbie's filling in which is great 'cause Robbie and I work great together. ^^

Our preformances start on Wednsday. The show is double cast. Everyone in both casts have behaved very well. If we don't, we get kicked out.

Anyway, my friend Emma plays Little Mary Sunshine.(the LEAD, though there are now leads and only principle parts) And my other friend Lindsey plays Little Mary on my cast, Emma's on the opposite cast.

Anyway again, this kid named Toney, weird spelling I know, plays Capt. Jim, Little Mary's, like, boyfriend. My bud Robbie is the other C.J. He(Rob) almost got kicked out of the show already for going into the teachers lounge when the janitor TOLD us we could. Ms. Wilson(Assitant Principal) come down the hall and Toney was supposed to warn Rob if anyone came and when Ms. W came down the hall, Toney ran away and ditched Rob to get punished. Eventually, Mrs. Riordan, our director and theatre teacher, got him out of trouble.

Oh and this other time, Emma was PMSing and being bossy when just the main roles were rehersing and she wouldn't let Toney give "constructive criticism" mostly 'cause his criticism is real mean. So he got all upset 'cause she wouldn't let him talk. Then the next day she tried to say she was sorry and he wouldn't accept her apology and still wouldn't for like 2 weeks. Stupid little jackass...

Now, Emma is in deep trouble. On her AIM profile she wrote something. She wrote: "Don't go see the play at Penfucket. It's really gay."

Our school's name is Pentucket. The a couple lines down she wrote: "Just kidding, go see it. It's awesome."

So she went down to "Guidance" this morning and they said "Do you know why you're here?" Mrs. R was there. Emma thought it was something else so she said, "Yeah" They gave her a print out of her profile and she read it.

Mrs. R gave Em an "I'm dissapointed look" and Emma almost cried. Out of everyone, she's put the most work into this show. Now she's scared she's gonna get kicked out. SIX DAYS FROM OPENING NIGHT!!!!!!

She got the whole play is gay this from Toney, but Toney never said he was kidding(little bastard)

And Toney's missed like the past WEEK of rehersals 'cause he's been sick. And that makes Robbie do more work 'cause he has to replace Toney in rehersals. EVerytime I look at poor Rob I think he's gonna cry.

So Emma's been crying all day and she's terrified of what her mom's gonna do to her. And she thinks everyone's pissed at her(and no one is)

-sigh- Everything's just falling apart.......
