I finished my semester and had to take a long brake. a very long brake away from my computer.

and now... I can`t believe it, on sunday I am leaving for Turkey. To study abroad. Soooooooooooooooo excited. And so few time to finish everything, meet all my friends and stuff. OMG OMG OMG.

I hope that I will be able to upload stuff from there, so I can at least post something in my gallery, but for the first month or so I will have no internet except for internet cafes. baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.

this semester will be over in a bit over two weeks. OMG. there still is so much work to do and my teachers give me more and more stuff to do, claiming I could handle it. well, I have some huge problems getting the existing crap up and running, so I absolutely can´t handle additional work well. Ok, I say this now, and in the end it will work, but somehow I feel disconnected from the stuff I have to do under total stress condition, because in the end it doesn´t really feel like I did it. Sometimes I think all these teachers wanna do is drive you insane or make you quit, so the wannabes get sorted out from the elites.
And concerning the only project that I really love this year, making an animated short movie, which a friend and I put considerable effort into, well, my teacher doesn´t like it. She doesn´t like the design, which is sci-fi, first of all showing her knowledge of the sci-fi-genre by asking me why elves fly in flying things (she couldn´t think of the term "plane", "transport" or whatever) and the stupid thing is I showed her all my concept art before I started the movie, everything. But since teachers don´t really have time for you, only for telling you the stuff they want from you (she listened to me for 2 minutes when I showed here the concepts and the storyboard) this is what one gets.
sometimes all this ignorance is making me so angry, because these are the guys writing your reports, and they are supposed to teach you, but all they do is get money and tell you when they don´t like something, but they don´t give you any critique on what you did wrong.
Normally I am not one to complain to much (at least not in public), but why???????? It took so much time and effort to do this project and now what? Someone still remembering THE GONE JACKALS? Well I only know them from the Full Throttle Game anyway - but their music ROCKS . I think with that music in my ear another long night of drawing can come. There still is a lot of work to do, I have to get my website up and running properly, have to do typography and I am planning on a two meter wide oil painting that I will hang in my room. Everything is ready, I only have to find inspiration on what to paint. Maybe it will come tonight. PLEASE DO INSPIRATION.



Also this month will be the first time I have to part from one of my drawings, a friend asked my if I would give him on of my paintings (he was very specific on the one he wanted) in exchange for one of his.
