I think her month wait is over too... anyone want a server job? ^^;;

so i'm gonna be busy with work, stacking up the hours, witch will be epic for the rent but less so on my nerves. expect snappy phan to be wandering around DA as her insomnia kicks in again. [/fair warning]

ah, I am finally kicking my ass into gear on Devious Chemicals, so I'll have the first page done soon, hopefully, as I'm being supah lazeh and going for a simple pencil shaded look. but it's full page so... :/ mmph. it sucks to draw small.
speaking of the comic, also got started on the profile pictures. got the easiest one out of the way. I'll have to post that when I'm done with this. i'm kinda proud of it. <3

did I ever tell you I really don't like this site?
nothing ever really loads and it's such a pain in the ass to view anything. half the time the damn pictures don't even load and you can forget full view! ha! my mother would cry.

I've had this problem for a while which is why I've stopped getting on, and before you say "oh it's just your sucky ass computer." or "your internet just blows." I've had this problem on DSL, cable, and even the super nice wireless interwebs at fancy restaurants(shloskies/mcie dees). so no. it's not just this location. it's me. >/ it makes phan angry...very very angry. you wont like me when I'm angry....

and I'm not just angry over the stupid internet, no. hah! if only I were that shallow... so far I've involved myself in two major projects that I most likely wont be able to keep up with, got screwed over with my insurance, failed with school (again), started up several new stories, run into a rough patch with mostly everyone, and the icing on the cake is dad's 'recovery'. I know that shit that they put people though is "oh, it's supposed to get worse before it gets better..." well Thank you very much you idiotic fuck. like I didn't know that. and like I find that comforting. I'm slowly loosing the strongest part in my life to this shit and it fucking hurts and 'it gets worse before it gets better' is not helping after the 52nd time!! pick a new line people!!!!

but seriously. 3 more weeks and it's over with.

HOW IT WORKS
you, as the artists, are required to give me fan art of my newest character, STRIFE, in your own art style. Even though it's impossible to correctly judge art, I'm going to have two others, besides myself, to help me make the decision. The submissions will be judged on presentation, not just the art alone, so don't feel too intimidated about the other artists. (i.e. a picture drawn amazingly of him just standing there versus a picture of him drawn alright fighting off something, the one with him fighting would win) I expect vivid emotion and time spent from these entry's!
I will also be holding a poll to help with the voting as well. it'll be fun. :3

submissions will be sent to me in the form of notes, titled 'Strife and Discord' to help me distinguish and categorize what is what.
-Notes will contain the name of the submitter, a thumbnail of their submission, a link to the pictures page, and a short description of their entry for my personal amusement.
-descriptions will tell me how you came to said positioning of said character, why you chose the colors, the mood of the picture, and an other useful information that might help me judge the submission better.

let's see, let's see....
well, for one, i've completed the quest of going out with my father for his birthday dinner (which we've put off for over a month now) and so the curse of having to do everything in-between is hopefully evaded for now. right? right!

so instead of having something to do, i have nothing to do.
-explained-
two days after the dinner (which was great by the way, mexican food and all <3) i come to work only to find that we have no gas to heat the grills.
so.
up at ten.
never before in my working time, have i been up this early and not been able to work.
so. i come home and walk the dog and then crash on the couch and watch NCIS (which is now my favorite television show.)
just hopping my poor dog had as much fun as i did. (DX)

it was like that for two days, and we returned to being open on sat, though we found a gas leak, and closed till i returned for my second shift that day... gods how i was hoping i didn't have to come in.
missed a great house marathon for it. v.v
so of course they fixed it just as i came in. |D

so that was my fun! :D

yeah... since then i've been on a character creation binge. it's great. before that i've been so artless it was making me sick. D:
hopefully i'll get off my ass and get it back up. :3

also, so I don't have to explain it to everyone, yes, I'm tired and upset and extraordinarily moody. my dad-dad (my fathers father and my last direct grandfather) died on 9-09-08 at 11:30~.

another thing is that it was 9-11 today. so thank you to all those troops that are out there risking their lives for our freedom. though I don't think it should take a memorial day to recognize the sacrifice they give.

on another note, same day, the memorial for my grandfather was held today, and by great misfortune I almost missed it. lucky for me, my gracious co-worker Amanda was able to cover my shift and I ended up only having to work that night. so thank you Amanda, for taking up my shift and helping me to see my dad-dad one last time.

this birthday has been actually really awesome. at least the night part.

I worked this morning and it sucked major balls. we got slammed first thing when we opened and some one didn't show up until about 30 mins into his shift and we had to call the owner in to cover for him and another worker to help after we left.. and yet we still didn't beat 2k.. annoying.. and then I stayed till five. my manager called some time in there and sang me happy birthday. :3 she's just recovering from surgery so it was good to hear from her.

after work i got off and called mom who had called me and she left a message singing me happy birthday~ awesome. but I got to dads and we went out to eat. had steaks. x3 it was delicious. the steak and ale had this delicious cheesy garlic bread and this big brownie.. it was delicious! <333

after sitting and talking and giving us ample time to digest enough to move, we headed home and watched tv for a while until about 10. at that time I went over to rons and we played on her new rock band~ <33 that was kick ass.

we then went to the 11 pm preview of iron man, which was ok, could have been longer and better, but I liked it. he had a kickin goatee~

we met joe at the movies! I hadn't seen him since high school. he's not a thin stick anymore and he's taller than me now.. D: so we talked with his friends Colin and Oma who were awesome. turns out they go to UTA which I will be attending int he fall semester. awesome.

we went to IHOP and had fun chatting and snacking out. it was great, except for our suck-tastic waiter. he kind of ignored us after he brought out five of something I ordered once. ti's ok. turns out we were hungrier than I thought and we ended up eating the cheese straws and I got the chicken strips. no one really liked the onion rings and so wee sent them all home with joe to give to his roomie. xD they would barely fit int he to go box, lol.

but I'm really tired after such a good night. so sleep now. kickin. <3

in the morning I'll learn about all the damage the 75-80 mph winds did and how the end results of the 600+ lighting strikes in my tiny little county and how many cars/houses were damaged by the tennis ball sized hail that reigned over several other counties and how many streets were swept clean of everything by the resulting down pour...

luckily the work on the creek has kept most of the flooding out of my backyard and my puppy is safe so I'm ok. :3

I'll let you know how everything ends tomorrow~

UPDATE:

well, I finished my part of the trade with ~VulcanHedgehog and I now have to finish one I started with *Crystal-The-Hedgehog for her other account ~Duel-of-Sorrow [link] but it's becoming quite obvious that it's rather impertinent of me to try and draw something so mournful when i'm rather happy...

so I let it aside for now and continued on. for now I've been getting back into my anthro side of my art; i'm trying my hand in the anthro weekly challenge [link] dolls.. hmm... well...

there's another thing I've been working on for my anthro art, but I'll leave that to curiosity at the moment.

well, i've been sick (thank you ron<3) for the past three days and for those nights and one plus, I've had separate 'end of the world' dreams. Today I refused to go back to sleep and finish this one, so I'm not sure if this one had a happy ending. I hope so.. that lady and her cats were really nice... though it was already sad.



let's see... the first one I was in an office building that reminded me of my church with sake and mommy and I think Ron and Neo were there. i know they escaped with me on the peddled three wheeler. then the schools got out and the little zombie children came outside and we had to go. and we went and met up with a bunch of gangsters cus I made a new friend, and then we all drove out to the wilderness, I'm guessing Cali because of the fact that the mountain we were hiding on was covered in red oak, I think. turns out the gas emissions of the mountain-there was either a factory under it or it was an active volcano, though the smoke was green-were what changed the people. apparently some one thought it was a cure or something and brought it to the city. the last thing I remember is the old man we met there telling me about the vent shafts and getting a rather un nerving flash of several wild animals with green eyes.

Another, started off as I was with a group of people in a city that I dream of a lot, and we were holding up in the bottom level of a business office, the two entry way sliding glass door providing ample protection from the panicking officers and cruising zombies. eventually, two or three guys in black suits arrived with heavy artillery. they were ok and joined us in the room by fixing the doors for themselves and coming in. another guy was fallowing them and we all knew the dumb ass too. we were like, "oh god, no Max!" and that fucker let loose his automatic on the glass doors protecting us to get in and ended up shooting several people. needless to say, i hoped he got his guts wrenched out. knowing we had to move, we split up, I went with two of the gov guys and another black girl from the group. we ended up in a wooden hallway and it was really nice, like a church. there were two doors there, stained glass windows and all, and I went over and locked them when I noted that zombies were heading that way. we then headed down the hall and went out the back glass doors. I noted that they were all heading for the church when the black girl ran off screaming her head off. I went after her, and I think I had a gun by now, and knocked this zombie on a bicycle off and took it cus she got a hold of one too. mine sucked it kept leaning to the left cus the tire was worn. I chased her down into the neighbor hoods, which were deserted, and finally got her to calm down. these big black cars tried to get us to stop but we ran away and some how we got a hold of a helicopter. I think i was a different person by now. but we met up at Wagoner park, a park around the place where I live, though it didn't look much like it. but it was a two seater and there were three of us on the ground and one in the drivers seat. so I piled two of them in the back and we had to fly low cus it was over weight and we went to a gas station to get gas for it. there was a truck bed full of cash and we took it to buy it cus there was a guy there that sold illegal stuff. it didn't come in till sunday and we weren't gonna wait over night for it, so it must have been saterday. some one got a hold of a truck and put the helicopter on a flat bed to tote it around and we headed for a trucker place so we could get some gas. we found a robot and a guy that we were with knew him and he figured out he could take things apart piece by piece and put them together as well, so he fixed the robot, which ended up looking kinda like the main character from 'robots'. we had to go inside and try and sell this weird cup to distract them though we ended up shooting them with the helicopter and taking the gas anyways. ... I thnk I woke up while we were taking the gas cus i can't remember any more...

the next one... that was just too weird. it started out where I was this pretty young girl in the escort of this old man because my parents wanted the money. I had this kick ass red dress, vury pretty! but I ended up breaking away from him and ending up at some school I think. I tried to get along but everyone was a stuck up prep and hated me. those who didn't just ignored me. either way it ended up that everyone got turned into a zombie, once more. i'm not sure about how this time. I do believe in the law of attraction~ it works so well. I talked to him about it and told him and he said he had noticed that i'd been upset lately. I got kinda nervous and told him I was just tired, because i was last night.. so sleepy.. D: but I brought him home and... well... he made it up to me. said he'd try harder and love me more. :3 I'll see how it goes.. he just reminded me of why I love him so much.. I'm a hopeless love stuck cog~<33 and i'll work through it with him. I'm not going to change, and neither is he. well... cept for what he wants too. blah! back to rocky!

I'm havening problems in my relationship with sake now a days.. he's so much harder to get a long with... I'm starting to find eric's point of view when... yeah... can't go into that... I mean, i love the guy, but he's just to damn smart for his own damn good and he's so full of himself some times! i love him, don't get me wrong, but he just pisses me off sometimes and does he ever apologize?! fuck no! I wait and wait but there's no 'i'm sorry for crushing you' or 'i apologize for pissing you off, you still love me right?'. absolutely fucking nothing. god, everything seems to be going down hill since I got mys hot and I've been... yeah.. wont go into that, but I can't get nun and I cna't even tell if he cares that much... he's just so inside. he doesn't even show me much love now a days and I have to ask him about it for anything pertaining to his feelings.. I guess he had been under a lot of stress lately considering he almost got a new car and we almost had to worry about insurance... but we went to denny's with one of his co workers and a bunch of her awesome friends and had a great time and not once did he put his arm around me or do anything towards me but get out of my way when i had to go to the bathroom! he could do something to me, just wink or something to show that he cares that I'm trying to get his attention... .... well.. I guess he does show me love sometimes... but still... it's not much, it's not what I need. I refuse to go whore myself out to anyone else for the emotional need... but if he doesn't give it to me... gods... I'm so fucked up... v.v I'm so needy... but being part of a relationship, means you're supposed to help with that right? right? I thought so... i'd do everything I can, give him random licks on the ear, pinch his ass to make him laugh.. but I really.. don't get much of anything in return.. well then. let's start from the top. I have two new friends! yay! I met Adam and Kevin at the arcade in the six flags mall, whilst waiting for our turn at DDR once more. Adam kicks ass, whilst Kevin's a bit more on our level, though he's mastered this nifty special thing. blah. then there were these annoying people who worked they're and were kinda really stuck up, but kicked ass a little less than Adam. but they told us about the Anime Fest that was going down this weekend.

having jobs, and bing about a week before, me and sake decided to go since it would be my first one and his second, though defiantly a bit better. so we said we were gonna go and then went to check out the apartments these people had notified me about at Chapps, where i was working. that's another story, regardless to say, they were very nice. so we went and checked it out and it's going to be 130+ for the application and a few other things, and that's going to be pulled into the first months rent which I do believe is about 525, plus 25 extra to have it furnished.so all around it's going to be about 680+ to move it, but it's really nice and we're working it out ever so slowly. it's a one bed apartment, full kitchen and bathroom and a walk in closet. not to mention the pool, hot tub, and the fitness center that comes with the apartments. me and my un healthy self are gonna be out there a lot.

but we were going to Anime Fest. I wouldn't allow us not to go. but now shane has to get his car re-registered. no idea how much that's going to take. but we figured we'd get all the money spending out f the way, so we headed for the nearest tax office, which was closed and then we came home and shane had to work. so I went out, having difficulties at home as I was, and went to the library, which closed 30 mins latter. lame. so I headed back to subway and spent the rest of the night at shane's work, Subway. my lap top died on me while I was working on :iconsezurei:'s picture that I promised her a trade with. [i found her on gaia in a free art thread and she's a red panda! <333 x3 so cute. ] i couldn't find a good pose for her, but I was sketching out at the library, and got something started, added clothes and vwa-lah! I've been working on it for over 3 hours now, and it's looking pretty good for something that started out as a rough sketch.

but i took shane home about nine and I think we went to sleep early so we could get an early start in the morning. we set the alarm for about 9, woke up around 10, went to get ron, and she was in waco, so we had to go without her. T-T not cool. but we drove up to reunion tower and the hyatt. big place. we had to park in the reunion arena parking and walk over, but it wasn't too far then we had to wait in line to get our day passes. that sucked. then we met up with Kevin and his girlfriend, I've got a picture of him and his lovely girlyness, and some ouran, but I was really upset that there wasn't a single sepheh about. TmT not cool.

but I saw the twins from ouran! <33 they looked beautiful! x3 and they even posed for me, and there was a guy with a home made uzi, very cool. and a lot of other people i didn't recognize. blah, oh well. shane got a new butane lighter for his collection, very pretty, and a new helsing wallet and some calligraphy pens and ink. he took them home and inked his submission for :iconnotveryathletic:'s contest. [the link's in my comments] I spent my fair share of cash, buying these cute ears and these gorgeous bells. they're so pretty sounding. i can't wait to hang them up in our new apartment (D<3 oh, and I got shane a collar and leash as well. >3 hehe <3 lawl.

so yeah, but now that I'm getting used to the tablet, i should have more art spouting out, which I still have a lot to do mind you... [link]

and I finally finished up remodeling my bar on gaia [link] ! finally! I just have to get out a floor plan, because it's decidedly different. I like it though. hopefully it'll be more fun for others to attend as well.

well, i'm off to go fill out the applications with sake before work, so I'll try and get back to all of you when I get another big update such as this.

I fear I'm loosing it, my mind really. I know this might sound like some dramatic prose, but it's not. I have nothing much to go on anymore. everything seems so dead to me.. I swear I'm not emo. I was just laughing a few seconds ago. By the way, thank you *Rynnay for your exquisite art and comics. You too ~NeppyLeet. i was laughing, but it feels.. I don't know.. kind of hallow...empty, like it wasn't quite real. but it was.

I'm sure if we were fiction, we would have the luxury of knowing that we would have a happy ending, even if we ended up dying for the cause. though we have no cause now. Slaughter fell and I was really freaking sad... v.v but she had a great run of violence and awesome-well-slaughtering of the others OC's! So Congrats on such a great run Slaughter!



back to the main stream, I'm still working on the main plot of the story.. things aren't coming together very well... and I still don't have a main villan.. just for the separate people... say 'mmm... necromancer!' and since i have part of it already up... I just realized how long this stupid thing's gonna be... I'm just hoping that I have the patience and the focus to finish it....

hmmm.... I shall try.

Speaking of the part that's already up, I've whipped up an illustration for that.. it's coming along rather nicely if I do say so myself.. ^^ I've finally gotten all the characters inked out and I've gotten Phan colored. and the inking doesn't look so bad... .... from a distance.. ^^;; yeah...

But I've got school tomorrow and I have to go out job hunting after that... and I still have to get my transcripts... busy busy busy...

Hopefully my life will settle down soon and I'll be able to start actually putting up decent art instead of this half done crap that I've got on here... .... Ok so some of it is at least decent... ... especially the 'fear the blue one' <3 so... ok.. not so craptastic...
