My Thanksgiving was a little quiet. The first time having it without my older brother (he's living in San Diego now) and my cat. I spent it with my mom and her boyfriend though, so it was still nice. And the food we cooked was very tasty! Lots of leftovers. X) And Nick was kind and brought me some pecan pies from his work.

Still have a lot to look forward to these next few months. Especial January (30th). Two of my best friends and I will go see Utada Hikaru. I'm so excited!

So I hope you all had a good day. How'd you all celebrate? What'd you eat? X)

In art related news, I've been doing a BUNCH of sketches/doodles lately. I want to submit them, and even though they're not completed works.... I DO like them, so I'm not sure if I want to send them to scraps (which no one ever looks at, in any gallery.) or be a rebel and submit them in the "wrong" section. Hmmm.

I just chilled with Theresa at my place, and she spent the night, so I had a good time. We went out with a couple of our other friends tonight and had a lot of fun. 8)

I'm looking forward to many things this month! My brother should be coming down from San Diego to visit, I'm really excited to see him. And then Theresa's birthday is on the 16th! So I know we'll be getting together to hang. 8) Also... Thanksgiving! Yay~ One of my close relatives is planning on coming down for Thanksgiving... and if he doesn't, my dad is offering to take me to California with him for the holiday. So I think this will be a good month.


To bring up some bad news....
My cat passed away a few weeks ago, on October 14. :'(
I'll never forget the first day we got her.

It was a Summer night, in 2000, I was sitting in the living room watching a movie, 'Urban Legends', while coloring at the coffee table with my scented markers. I remember hearing this odd sound, it was faint so I couldn't really make out what it was, but I didn't think much of it until the sound became louder, and at the same time, I saw my dad's face peek into the small window that was on the front door. I got up to open the door for him, and there she was, this tiny kitten meowing and rubbing against my dad's leg as he stood there. We gave her what food we could feed her, and put her into the garage for the night. The next morning, I rushed down to check up on her... she was such a hyper kitty! I sat down next to her and she walked behind me, climbed up my back up onto my shoulder, and jumped onto my lap, and repeated it for a while... it was so cute! My parents came down, and we decided a name for her.... 'Lucky'
Yeah, it's sort of generic, but I think it fit her perfectly.


Lucky was with us for 9 years, and I'm happy that we were able to give her a home and a good life. I love her and miss her so much. But she will always be in my thoughts.

Well, recently, I decided that it was time to break out of this phase, and go see my friends. I felt horrible after hearing that they had thought I hated them. I was so glad that they hadn't forgotten about me... I KNEW they hadn't from the start, but that's what made happy.

I've kept them out of my life for 3 long months, but I'm so grateful to have them back.

They're really great friends and I'd forgotten how freaking fun it is to be with them.


Well, to brighten things up in this journal, I had a dream last night that I was driving and couldn't find parking because all the parking spots were reserved for handicapped. Sigh.

I'm SO happy and excited! I haven't seen snow in 10 years! So this was really great. It's snowing so much right now, it's getting heavier and heavier by the hour. I took a lot of pictures and videos. They're kind of crappy though, I'm not a photographer and I don't have any special camera that captures snow well ;\ But that's okay I guess. Oh and, I live in an apartment across from the ghetto/projects so.... it's not like a "beautiful" scene... but it's SNOW. ^_____^

Shannon (My brother's girlfriend) is over and really enjoyed the snow today. She said it snows in Canada all the time, nonstop, but she thought THIS snow was beautiful and relaxing.... it makes me happy to see other people enjoying the snow as much as I am. 8)

This is so rare for us, so I hope it continues to snow until atleast tomorrow. This has been the best December ever.

-Bah. I've been having a really funky art phase. I've been disappointed in my art lately, and I haven't even been doing much. My 'Fran III' is really the only picture I'm "proud" of (out of all the drawings/sketches I've done in the past few months). I don't feel like I'm improving, and I've been really frustrated that I haven't been able to get my ideas down on paper the way I want them to.

-One more day until Thanksgiving! I'm going to help my mom cook dinner since she won't get home until 4:00 p.m. I'm excited though! My brother, my mom and I never eat dinner together. Ever. We just like to be doing our own thing while we eat, but we always sit down together on Thanksgiving and Christmas, so it'll be nice again to have a family dinner 8)

OOPS. I have to get ready for work. I hope it's not as bad/busy as I think it'll be. DAMN PROCRASTINATORS!

So I try to uninstall it and it won't LET me, so I try to REinstall it and it STIL won't let me. It says the scanner was installed on my E drive, so in order for it to work properly, I need to reinstall it in the same place. So I'm like, Oh okay! 8D
I go to My Computer and WTH. My E drive disappeared. It's just completely gone.
Sigh. I don't think there was anything important on it. Just that I can't use the scanner since I can't uninstall or reinstall the software. Since it's already "existing" in a nonexistant drive.

Bah. Anyways. Life is the same... boring as usual. I still need a job. Badly. I applied to some places, so hopefully one of them hires me. I'm hoping I can work with ~lazyafternoons and ~trendyNick at Honeybaked Ham~

Hm. Halloween is coming up! I'm not doing anything special, I wish I were though T_T Oh well, maybe next year.

And I've got a few pics coming up 8) I have a Zelda drawing that I'm halfway done with. I did the lineart and base colors but haven't continued on it, instead, I started doing the lineart to a drawing of Fran that I did a few weeks ago. It's coming out pretty good!

And my brother let me borrow his scanner (He told me I could keep it in my room!8) ) so I've scanned a bunch of sketches that I've done in the past few months.

Other than that, things have been good. I'm using my Wii to update this, so it's been pretty convenient for me 8) I got a new cell phone last week (The enV2) FINALLY after having the same phone for 4 years. 8I But my new one is beautiful 8)

going to school. Sigh.
I'm not going until the 2nd semester. It's going to be all weird. I should have at LEAST joined the college orchestra. UGH. I hate not being in an orchestra. I don't want to get rusty. I've been practicing my viola since I got home from my 2 month trip to CA... one of the first things I did was cut my nails (which I refused to do while in CA cause they were really long) so I could play my viola. Well.... I guess I'll just have to buy some music books.

I'm still in California. I WAS supposed to go back home today, but the plane ticket had gone up in price, so I found a cheaper one for August 19th. I miss home 8( I miss my room, my cat, my mom (and her cooking!), and my friends. D: (And just the comfort of being in my own home)
Although it's nice here, seeing my family and my best friend.... I'm homesick 8(

I mss my tablet, too, LOL. Le sigh. I haven't drawn in a while, just sketched/doodled in my sketchbook. I miss my viola, too! AGH. I miss everything. And my friends have been telling me that its rained there back in Vegas, and its been cloudy and all these things. Whaaaaaaaat. D8

Well, anyways. 2 more weeks and I'll be home. I hope Zach and I get to hang out again before I leave.

Oh, I got Breaking Dawn! I went to the midnight release party, it wasn't as crowded as I thought it'd be. At least, it wasn't crowded at the Borders that I went to, maybe it was at some other place. But yeah, I got it! And I'm more than halfway through it. D:
I wanted to save it so I could have something to read on the plane back to Vegas. Maybe I'll read like, a page a day instead of a chapter or two a day. >_> Yeah, maybe.

I've been in California for a while, since June 24th. I've been having a lot of fun so far, my first week here I stayed at my grandma's, and went to Knott's with my uncle, aunt, and cousins, It was a lot of fun 8D

I've just been shopping at malls and whatnot, nothing else TOO exciting, but Zach and I are going to the mall either tomorrow or Wednesday, we're still unsure about the day we're going. And he also invited me to Magic Mountain, I'm soooo excited~

I probably wont be back home until August 4th or somewhere around there, I want to stay at LEAST until Breaking Dawn comes out so I can read it on the plane ride home. I know, I'm dorky. 8B

I stayed home from school today. UGH.
I had some left over chinese food yesterday and I think I got sick from it, I was up all night with a horrible stomach ache and... you know D:
It sucks how this is my last week of school (Besides next week when I take the final exams, but those don't really count to me as "Schooldays")
I must go back to school tomorrow though. I hate missing school, and tomorrow is the orchestra banquet and today was the last day to buy the ticket, but since I wasn't there I COULDN'T, but Theresa texted me and said she paid for me ;3;

This Friday is Senior day, there's going to be a BBQ and... I'm not sure what else, but I think all seniors are excused from their first 4 classes or something. I'm really not sure, but I can't wait And then on the same day, Jia and I are gonna go shopping for graduation dresses. GOSH. I can't believe I'm going to be graduating! (That is if I pass all my exams/classes bahahaha)
I'm so excited, but I've been SO stressed these past few months. Just three more full school days to go, and three exam days and High School is OVER for me.

http://Meleesaw.deviantart.com/journal/18036976/ Sat, 26 Apr 2008 10:53:28 PDT Theresa and Nick got me gifts, they gave it to me at lunch, Nick got me a sketchbook (I've been needing one for a long time, but didn't have any money last time I wanted to get one) And Theresa got me some stuff from Sanrio, this really cute Keropee mechanic pencil (I loved it so much that I used it right away), a Cinamoroll pencil, a Badtz-Maru pencil, and a mini My Melody pen with an egg charm on it... it's so cute~
And Jia got me this windchime, it's SO pretty. It's green-- my favorite color! And it's pretty small, so I hung it in my room, right between the curtains on my window. I'll take a picture later.

Theresa came home with me after school, and my mom barbecued, (Carne asada, refried beans, guacamole, and potato salad) and my brother Chris came over, then around 6:30 we went to pick up Nick and when we got home, we cut the cake, which was Spongebob Themed 8) The cake was so good-- Tres leche. You gotta try it.
Then my brother had to leave, then me, Theresa, and Nick played Brawl for a bit, Then Theresa had to leave, and we took Nick home.
It was fun!

ANNNND, I think I have enough money to get the tattoo I wanted, so I might be getting it soon. ^_^

OH, and Theresa and Nick wanted to take me out to The Ka today (An Asian restaurant) So I hope we can all go ^3^

Well, I have my text book for government, so I already finished all of my 4 assignments that were due this week, and some assignments that were due in english, but I don't have any of my math worksheets or.... anything else. But I got half of my school work done at least. I don't think I'll have a lot of Spanish homework or English homework.

So yeah, I went to the doctor today, I have a sinus infection T_T It sucks. I have this permanent migrane, or what seems like it, and a really upset stomach, I don't know how a sinus infection can cause that, but my doctor said something how "it drips" ??? I don't know.

I'm going back to school tomorrow, and I have an orchestra concert tomorrow at 8:00 p.m. I feel REALLY bad for missing both of my orchestra rehearsals (Monday after school and Tuesday before)
I just hope I know the music lol. D:

Tomorrow is also my dads birthday, so he's coming to my performance.... with his girlfriend. I've never met her before and I'm not sure I WANT to. Well, whatever.

I guess that's pretty much it.... I think.

So me and Theresa ~lazyafternoons are gonna go out today. We're gonna go to Yummy Grill and eat sushi, their sushi is really good! And probably get some boba. We'll go to the mall afterwards since it's just across the street, and she might come to my house later. Depending on the time.

The new quarter started at school already, everyone has been saying that 4th quarter is the EASIEST for Seniors... and I'm hoping they're RIGHT. Wow, even my strict government teacher said he wants to finish our work by May so we can have the rest of the school year (School ends in June) to relax and watch a couple of movies. YAY.
I hope the rest of my teachers are easy going this quarter.
Especially because 3rd quarter is ALWAYS the hardest (imo) and I struggled last quarter D: So yah.

SSBB........ IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!

I went over to a friend's house and played it! (HIS friend owns it so yeah lucky us!)
Omg it's just... I want it NOW! It's a bit different than Melee, like... the "feel", some of the characters were a little hard to control at first. I stuck with Sheik most of the time, 'cause I got used to her but yeah like ZSS and Toon Link were kind of hard to get used to. But with hours of practice, it should be fine! But yaaaah I'm so happy I got to play X) It's freaking awesome.

Anyways. Today was a "minimum" schedule at school today. One hour off of school. Yay.
I guess it's better than nothing. Oh well. I was REALLY tired today though, not sure why. And I have a bad headache >_< it won't go away.

I had fun last week. On Friday Jia and I celebrated Chinese New Year, I went over to her house and we made dumplings.... they were really good! And then we walked to the Mall, hung out there for a few hours/ had icecream, and walked back to her house, then we watched a movie. I was out til almost 11:00 p.m. so I had a lot of fun.
Then the next day I spent the day cleaning my room, then Me, Theresa, and Nick went to school to watch the Beauty and the Beast musical..... it was amazing, I loved it!
And then My mom picked us up and Theresa stayed the night at my house, we picked up two boxes of pizza (So my mom and brother could eat too lmao) but we took one box to my room. 'Cause we're fatties ;D
So yeah, it was fun.

This week has been tiring, and I think I'm getting sick again. Well.... my throat REALLY hurts, and I feel really tired D:

Anyways. I'm a little nervous for my government exam. I have to do a shitload of notecards X_x

Sheik was update on the SSBB DOJO site last night. It REALLY is not a surprise that she'd be in it, it was kind of obvious after that article about renderings/designs for a TP styled Sheik. And then last night, before the update, Zach showed me a scan from a Japanese (gaming?) magazine that showed Zelda's transformation into Sheik. But it was exciting to see her new design and OMG I love it, her hair is AWESOME and she looks more curvy IMO. YAH, Sheik is a girl in my eyes so don't be all HAY BITCH SHEIK'S A GUY K.

I sketched a picture of her after I finished my math exam. I don't have a scanner ;_; but I'll just redraw it on OC, when I have the time.

We got to see a lot of things and places and experience things I never thought I would have. New Years eve was quite the experience. My teacher said it would be dangerous, like people getting drunk, and more possibilities of us getting pick-pocketed.... so I just thought it'd be a crazier version of Vegas. But GOD. It was scary.
I won't tell the whole story in detail, but fireworks were being thrown at us! They landed in our group a few times (before exploding) so it was super scary, so we had to run across the street to a park to watch the fireworks.
But, other than that, it was nice spending the New year with a few of my best friends~

We went to the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Vatican, Colosseum, Catacombs and all sorts of other places. My favorites were (ESPECIALLY) the Catacombs and the Colosseum. But I thought EVERYTHING was just amazing.

I took around 250 pictures, but I'll only post the ones that I thought came out the best. A lot of them came out blurry because we had to keep walking.

Anyways. I got 2 presents, when I wasn't expecting ANYTHING (I told my mom not to get me anything since she already spent close to 3,000 on my orchestra trip)
She got me a pair of shoes that I wanted, and this really cute shirt. It's really light gray with green and black notes on the front, and it has long sleeves attatched with small green and purple notes ^___^
Oh, and I got a bunch of chocolate =3=

3 Days until we go to ROME! I'm so excited!

Sure, there's a bunch of people on Deviantart that I dislike for different reasons. Sometimes, I can't STAND seeing Naruto fanart on the front page, or two of the same pictures/people on the front page, or something on the front page that's not front page worthy, but I don't and can't do anything about it. I can take it, because I'm an ADULT. (Not physically, but you know. Mentally)
It pisses me off seeing how childish people can be, and going as far as writing an ARTICLE about them on Wikipedia and bashing them, let alone leaving puerile comments on their artwork/profile/journal etc.
Just fucking leave them alone. If you don't like their art, THEY DON'T CARE SO STOP WASTING YOUR TIME TELLING THEM. Seriously, just worry about your own artwork and enjoy others. If you can't, then find something better to do than bash them.

As for fanart. What's wrong with it? Seriously. People hate fanart so much because it gets too much attention/faves on DA. Well, yeah it does, but I don't hate it. People are just more familiar with the fanart. For example, if you saw a bookmark that had your favorite character on it, and a bookmark with a design you've never seen before, YOU'RE MORE THAN LIKELY TO GET THE ONE WITH YOUR FAVORITE CHARACTER ON IT. A lot of people say this, "Let people draw whatever they want to" And they should. They shouldn't stop just because others aren't satisfied with it. And it's funny, because a lot of the people who say they hate fanart, a lot of their favorites CONSIST of fanart. What.


Honestly, I think it takes a lot of guts to post fanart here, because everyone expects the character to look exact, resulting in hateful comments when it's not. Who cares if someone likes drawing fanart? I like drawing Zelda characters, I think it's fun to. Being able to recreate a character from my own views and styles, I think it's a great thing. Everyone starts somewhere, right? Maybe using other characters as a reference to their artwork is the only way people feel comfortable, that doesn't entirely mean they aren't creative.
So leave these guys alone too.

I don't think DeviantArt was created to have this kind of childness, but unfortunately, this place is infested. Just think next time you're going to comment.

I just want to say.... That I'm thankful for ALL my friends. My close ones especially, you know who you are. You fatty's are great. ^_^

I helped my mom cook and clean today, and gave her a letter I wrote for her showing my aprreciation. I normally don't do that kind of thing, but the past few years (Especially now) has been really rough for us, and I'm not the type to tell a person how I feel about them (Like my relatives and stuff. I don't like being all mushy.) So I wrote her a letter. Anyways.
I'm waiting for my mom to finish watching a concert on tv so we can watch Spider Man 3 (And maybe Shrek 3)

Tomorrow I have an eye appointment, and I'm going to pick out some new glasses! YAY! I'm happy, I've had the same glasses for like, 3-4 years. XD
And uh.... that's it I guess.

Sunday is my brother's birthday ~Zebeth11 he's turning 20, but I'm sure his DA profile says he's still 17.
So tomorrow my dad is taking us out to eat, and on Sunday we'll be celebrating with our mom. I vandalized his card with stick figure drawings. ^_^

So there's pretty much just one month and 19 days until we leave to Rome. Mr. Neuman seemed really mad/stressed since we're $24,000 short on the payment. He said we should have at least $2,000 payed already, I think I'm like $300 short >_> Ops.

Today in english, I got a flyer for a district contest for art and writing, and I want to take part in the art part of it. Digital art is accepted so ^3^ It's due December 14, but I already started on it. I don't think there was a specific topic, I read the paper and the rules on the site, and it didn't have any so I'm assuming there isn't.
Well, I want to do really good because 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners get money so.... : D

She's like, this tall elf with red hair, pale (greenish) skin, milky white eyes, and black markings all over her body. It was so embarrassing when I had to present it though, my classmates wanted me to pass the picture around. I think some people thought I just took it off the internet, because they didn't understand how I could have drawn/colored that on the computer, so I explained to my teacher how I did it (With the tablet and all) and she explained that to everyone else. They were amazed, I was like, lol it's just a tablet. This girl took a picture of it with her cell phone and said she wanted it, I should have sold it to her LOL but my teacher kept it with the rest of my project.

I want to go trick-or-treating this year. I'm not too old for that ^_^ I hope this year is better than last year. I had no costume and me and Theresa got ditched, so we ended up like..... not having a good time. BUT I SAW A BANANA COSTUME AT THE STORE AND I WANT IT.
I hope there's no school on halloween, or the day after that. I don't understand how Nevada day moved from October 30 to October 26. IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE. >8|

So, there's a little over 2 months until the trip to Rome. I'm so excited, but my teacher told us that there are a lot of kidnappings and pick-pocketings there. UMMMMMM......................

I have this project due in English Lit. this Wednesday and I have to come up with a monster. It doesn't have to be like, the boogey man, it can be anything, even human, but it has to have monstrous characteristics. Or just unusual characteristics, like elves or whatever, BUT I DON'T WANT TO BE THAT PLAIN (I WOULD use Midna, but I think we have to come up with our OWN)
And I have NO IDEA WHAT TO MAKE. I want it to be female, cause I'm not good at drawing guys (Yeah, we're supposed to have a picture of it, so this means drawing for me)
So yeah, if you could come up with something, like, what she looks like, what she's like, like, making your own character. Ummm.... I guess this goes against the "Making my OWN character" rule, but hey, you and I count as one person.................. ^_^

PLEASE HELP. AND HEY, this doesn't mean I have to know you to use your creative-ness, you can be anyone, even if you've never talked to me and you see my journal and you're like HEY, I'M CREATIVE ENOUGH TO HELP THIS POOPHEAD. So go ahead ^0^

'Cause like, I was on my bed (Which is right in front of the monitor of my computer) playing FFXI and Theresa was talking on MSN, but then she got up to blahblah so I stood on my knees at the edge of my bed and leaned over my computer chair to type something to Zach, but I accidentally pushed the chair (that I was leaning on for support) while I was typing AND I FELL 8( And Zach and Theresa were laughing. Now I have a huge bruise on my side and everything hurts. : D it was fun though. I mean, you know.

Anyways. We stayed up til 5:30 am @_@ we woke up at like, 10:00 too.
I think she's gonna come sleep over again on Friday, NO SCHOOL ^0^

Sigh. I have Orchestra rehersal tomorrow after school, and Tuesday before school. Then we have the pasta dinner performance on Wednesday. I just hope that this week was better than last. I was stressing out over homework and stuff D:

Theresa sent me the link to the 2nd Super Junior album yesterday, that was originally going to be released (In U.S.?) today but anyways, it's so cool, I love it.
I can't update my MP3 player on my computer because my computer is caca and and my brother won't let me use his computer to do it T_T so I added about 200 songs and some videos onto it while I was in California, and I left my CD/SOFTWARE THERE SO I CAN'T UPDATE IT ANYMORE.... until I get it back, but I don't know when that is.
So I told Theresa that I wanted to take my computer to school so I could listen to the songs all day ;_;

I'm so happy because Theresa and Ashley got switched to 2nd lunch (My lunch)
I had Nick, Jia, Cody and some of Jia's friends to sit with but.... Theresa is my best friend at school so it was like D: when she had first lunch. And besides, last year Me, Theresa, Alex, Nick, Ashley, and Cody had 2nd lunch and we sat at the same table everyday so it was a bummer this year that it couldn't be like that, BUT LOL I FEEL SO BAD cause now that Theresa and Ashley have 2nd lunch, Alex is all alone in 1st lunch! Me and Theresa were teasing him after school (Like saying "See you at 2nd lunch!")
But I'm glad Theresa has lunch with me now, I was going to switch classes next semester just so I could get switched to 1st lunch but, not anymore~

Anyways. So, updates about Rome. I have no idea how much money to bring. Mr. Neuman said he brought about 400 euros (For him and his wife) when he was there over the summer, and he was only there for about 4 days but....
We're gonna be there for about 7 days D: And I found out that 400 euros is $558. I'm like, WUT.
I'm not really paranoid about my passport coming late, I know I only bought it last week (Or two weeks ago? I don't remember) But everyone I know has gotten it in two months or less, and this girl even said she got it in a WEEK. And I'm leaving in 3 months (And 8 days) so I'm SURE it's going to be here before that.

k well. I need to reformat my computer now. -_-

Omg it's so stupid. I'm so mad, I've been stressing about this for like, evar.

The reason why I couldn't get it earlier was cause I needed a notarized letter from my dad saying I have his permission to go out of the country, and of course, my dad being a procrastinator like ME, did it JUST last Thursday.
So my mom's getting all mad at me blahblah then in the car she blames me for something I didn't do, LUL. She was all "Why didn't you tell me that blahblahblahblah?!!?!?!" and I was like "UH. I didn't even know?!"

Ugh. Sorry, I'm just mad, and stressed right now 8|

School has already been stressing me out too -_- I finish most of my homework in class ^_^ But I still get a lot.
Ugh, I want to just GRADUATE already. I'm actually doing good so far, I know it's only been 3 weeks? But I feel confident this year, this year is going to be GOOD. I'm going to get good grades and I'm going to graduate without any problems.

Just pray that I'll get my passport on time, I've (Or my mom, really.) already spent so much money on this trip, including a $500 non-refundable deposit, SO.... YEAH.

Since my hair is like, butt length and I'm cutting it to a little below shoulder length. That's really short @_@ I havent had my hair that short since the 5th grade (7 years ago) I'm....scared, but I want a change.

Yesterday I went to take my senior pictures, 7 of them were taken but I only saw two and didn't like them that much, so I'm hoping the other ones came out better. I didn't wear my glasses in them, but after I took the pictures, I realized that I look better with them on (In my opinion)
I also went to school to get my classes. Nothing special...

- English Literature
- Spanish II Honors

It's sad that Spanish is the only Honors class I have, and I don't even speak spanish. I honestly don't want to take Marine science, I already passed my two years of science to graduate but I guess since most colleges require 3 years...blah. I plan on going to a music school but, I don't want to risk not taking the class. So whatever DX

k anyways. I'm going to my grandma's house today and tomorrow I'll be going back to my uncles house. I'll be there until NEXT Tuesday (August 14th) I really can't wait to go home T_T
My brother ~Zebeth11 went to Canada 2 days ago, he's coming back the day after I come back home. I hope he's okay.

I really, really miss my tablet. I've been drawing on paper and.... it's not the SAME. I draw way better digitally. I don't know why.... But I did sketch some neat things.
I miss the Samus picture I had done a few days before I came here. I don't know yet if it's unfinished or not. It still needs a background but.... do I really want to continue working on it after a month? I'll probably spend a few days with my mom when I get back home, and I still need to go hang out with ~lazyafternoons We want to go watch Rush Hour 3. And then I start school on the 27th (NOOOOOOOOOOO) So I don't know how much time I'll be wanting to spend on the whatever.

So.... I don't know if I'll have time to update my journal between now and next Tuesday.

I went to the Orange County Fair with Zach and my other friend Katie. It was so much fun, we were there all day - o- the rides were awesome too~
My body feels kind of sore right now but.... blahblah.

I'm going to Magic Mountain this Saturday. I'm so excited : D Last time I was there was like 8-9 years ago. So I really don't know any of the newer rides there. I heard that one of the rides is like,m bajeasously scary... starts with a G I think? I don't remember the name of it. But I'm the type of person who will go on any ride, so I'm excited~ My younger cousin is coming too, so we're gonna go on all the rides X) I want to do the bungee jumping thing too but I heard it's expensive to go on it T_T

Well, I guess I don't have much to say. I'm coming back to Vegas on the 14th or 15th. I miss my home.... and my tabret TnT

I hope we get to hang out, we don't get to see eachother often, the last time I saw him was last summer.... so yeah.

I went to the mall yesterday with my little cousin. We went into this Japanese store and saw some really neat stuff (There is NOTHING cool in Vegas, like cool Japanese stores and such)
And I got Bento boxes, a Deathnote bag and some Pocky. The lady who worked there was so nice. It's a long story but we talked about my Sailor Moon wallet and she gave me a discount on the bag and gave me the pocky for free. Then me and my cousin ate sushi. I'd been craving it for a while so it felt good : D

It's been hard not drawing. Apparently my cousins don't have paper so I haven't been able to draw.....

- My dad was an hour late and told me he had FORGOTTEN about my concert until I called him.
- My viola case broke 8) Nothing big, it can be fixed, but still. Last year, on the last concert, my whole VIOLA broke.
- We were really crowded on stage, and I had to play with my bow all crooked/slanted, so I wouldn't be in the way of the clarinet players music stand (he was right next to me). But I kept bumping my bow into it.
- Our (Me and Dezra) music kept flying off of our music stand because of the AC. But Nate (The Clarinet player) was nice enough to hold it down for us since he didn't have anything to play during that piece.
- Ah the worst part. I made a huge mistake. Near the end of our last piece, Mars - The Planets, there's dramatic pauses between the notes in the last 5 or so measures, and during the rehearsals SOMEONE always plays during the pause and it ruins the whole piece, so I was nervous that someone would play during that part. And just my luck, I happened to be the one to play during the last pause. After I looked up at Mr. Neuman (We all had to look up at him so we'd know exactly when to play) I looked back at my music and SKIPPED a measure so I played an extra note. Theresa, who sits behind me said she didn't hear it, neither did her stand partner, or Ray, or Alex. Even if no one heard it, it just made me mad that it had to happen today, out of all days. But I can't think that no one in the audience heard it. HOPEFULLY not. Either way, I'm bummed about it.

MORAL OF THE STORY: I'm not inviting my dad to my concerts again. (Lol I suck so bad.)

Anyways.
Today feels like a thursday. I WANT IT TO BE THURSDAY. Me and Theresa are gonna go watch PotC3 on Friday. I also want to see Shrek 3 and Rush Hour 3. Not sure when that's coming out though.

Oh, I'm working on a picture right now, it's kind of plain, but I guess I kind of like it so far. Zach has been giving me tips during the process, so it looks pretty nice. I've been working on it for a few days now, not sure when I'll finish it. Tomorrow maybe? Hopefully.

Well, I have a headache. Don't really want to type too much.

I met with the manager of Panera Bread yesterday after I turned in my job application, he said he really needs workers and said he'd call me this week. I really hope I get the job! If I don't.... then I can always turn in my application into Sanrio at the mall. I'd rather work at Panera Bread, though.

Okay. So I've been drawing a LOT lately which has been making me happy, and it's relieving a lot of stress that I've been having, but what I don't get is.... I'm drawing chibi style. I like, never draw that style. But I find it to be a bit easier, since I don't have to worry about the anatomy looking right. I'm actually sketching something that isn't chibi, but I'm not sure how it will turn out.
I might continue with the chibi style sometimes, but do you guys actually like it? I don't know which of my style is better and which style I should draw more often 8\ You guys help me 8D (And watch, this journal gets 0 comments LOLOLOLOLOLO)

I'm so excited, 23 more days until I go to California! I think we're staying for 5 days, and missing 2 days of school. 8)))
Next year, our orchestra is going to Rome in December and performing there for New Years Eve. THAT'S going to be...... *O*
But I'm bummed because ~MirthfulJoltOfHatred and ~Tsuki-Seishin aren't trying out for our orchestra class next year.... 8(

I really need a job, that Rome trip is going to cost $2,500. I don't feel like I should always depend on my mom to help, I'm old enough to pay for myself but.... I'm broke and don't have a job >_>;
My brother is thinking about quitting his job, but maybe I can replace him. LMFAO. His job seems cool and his manager is really nice, I met him when he gave us tickets to purchase Zelda (TP) when we were waiting in line.

Yeah. Not much else has been going on. I'm just really excited for the trip, plus spring break when I get back from it. (Extended Spring break for me, cool!) Hopefully the sketches I've been working on will come out okay.

Well, not a lot going on. I have some family over today, well, they're at my grandmas house visiting MOSTLY her because she just got surgery on Monday, but I'm going over later on today to see them. I'm nervous and excited because my favorite cousins (who I haven't seen in 2 years) are there. I'm not sure if they're going to be excited to see me or mad at me (for something small that happened over summer) I hope not, because my younger cousin (Only by one year) Kevin and I used to be really close, I hope it's still the same. D:

I've actually been drawing a lot. I draw on paper whenever I'm not home, but my dad has my scanner so I can't scan any of it, and the drawings I draw on computer.... I just don't like them enough to submit them to DA 8) I'm running out of ideas, though. I don't know what to draw 8( I have a picture of Link on my computer I was sketching, but I don't know how to finish it. 8(

I'm excited for next month, I'm going to San Fransisco with my orcestra class. Me and Theresa () want to get a hotel room together, hopefully Mr. Neuman will let us have one to ourselves 8) It's going to be a lot of fun. Especially since San Fransisco = Asian City.

But I had a nice Christmas. I got A Zelda Sweater, 2 Zelda T-Shirts and a 4 pack of Zelda Pins. I got some money too, I went to the mall today with Theresa and I got a Zelda belt and a Zelda bag/purse/backpack thing (I also got the 5th volume of Gilgamesh, I already watched it XD) Theres a Zelda wallet that I want, but I haven't been able to find it anywhere so I might order it online if I see it. I'm going to get a tablet sometime this week, I can't wait, I'm so tired of drawing and coloring with the mouse >8\

Theresa just got FFXI today, I haven't played in a while so we wanted to play together, I'm installing it right now but it's being caca right now. I hope it installs.

My brother and I camped outside of Toys R Us for a while and we were about... 19th in line with 30 Wii's in stock. We chatted with a few nice Nintendo fans, and it was extremely cold.... In Nevada. Yeah. We had to wait until 10:00 this morning to get it though, but it was so worth it, we got kind of lucky though.... All the Zelda's seemed to be sold out, but when we were in line to purchase the Wii, the man in front of us told us that he'd get 2 Zelda games (one for him and one for us) that he saw an employee put on the shelf if we saved his spot, so of course, we did and we got Zelda. It's so freaking awesome, I was about to pii my pants. Pii. X)
I've been playing Zelda for 3 hours, it's so....... *O* I took a break to do my homework but I'm finished so I think I'm gonna get back to Zelda soon..... >_>;

Orchestra rehearsal tomorrow morning.... I have to wake up super early >0< At least I only have a 3 day week this week. I'll be going crazy at school, wanting to play with my Wii....... O3O

Theresa, Alex and I hung out after school at the tech center, we always have fun. Like, when do we NOT have fun. Oh, never. 8D

Then my mom picked up me and Theresa and took us to the mall and I got my hair cuuuut. It feels really short. I had it down to my butt and my bangs went to my chest and they were always to the side (mixed with the rest of my hair, so it looked like I had no bangs) and now it's cut to my elbows and my bangs go to my lips. I'll get used to it. I was just so uncomfortable with cutting my hair since I've been growing it out. This is the 2nd time I've cut it in 6 years.

I don't mind though. I stay after school everyday until 4:00 just to hang out with my friends LMAO. The lab will only take 10-15 minutes (Says my teacher)

I'm so happy we have a 3 day weekend, though. Nevada day! I have no idea WHY we have a Nevada day, but hey, we have no school so whatebar.
Me and Theresa are gonna go trick or treating... I hope. We wanted to be sumo wrestlers, but I can't find the (blow up) costume for it, and there's no way I'm going in a towel and a bra (Zach suggested that)
So I'm probably just going to be a dead person 8D And if not, I'll just go as Theresa. I'll have to chop my legs off, though, since she's only 4'11"
She can sit on my head and be a hat.

I have a party on the 28th, it'll be Annettes 18th birthday. I've known her since I was a baby, my mom used to babysit her and her brothers, and our parents were friends before I was born, so we're really close. She's gonna be an adult~ *O*

My brother's 19th birthday will be on November 11th. His birthday is on a holiday, no faaaaaaair.

And Theresa's 16th birthday will be on November 16th! ^Q^
