...It is the question. The answer is: "Yes."

Armed my trusty, five-year old laptop who's clearly on her last legs (poor thing) I have once again come to resolution to actually learn how to do something new with the various collection of graphic programs I've accumulated over the years.

How long this resolve will last I cannot say. Perhaps a month, perhaps a year. Either way, I am stating said resolution for the record (and so that I guilt myself into working everytime I look here).

Also, I have nothing to read. This is bad. Expect casualties.

Oh, if only I could draw...

I don't have any children of my own (perish the thought) but I do firmly believe that we should look after our children and the children of those around us.

Now, I have a friend who's son has been diagnosed with diabetes and only barely avoided a coma. Currently, he's going to be forced to live a life of daily injections and ceaseless caution concerning what he eats, how he lives, and so forth and so on. I know people who live like this and they would get rid of it in a heartbeat if they could.

His parents, however, have decided they won't sit back and let this happen - something I strongly agree with. Normally I'm not one for charity - I know I can't help everyone, but I can help those I care for personally.

So, please - if you're willing to help this couple and their son, Scotty, take a look at the website below and if you can, contribute something - even if it's just a little as a token of support.

Seeing as I can't think of anything suitably witty to say here, I'll most likely be posting vague ponderings. Here and there I'll no doubt end up throwing some song lyrics in - either those of my own creation or those that have inspired me recently.

I deal mostly in photo manipulation and such due a complete and utter incapability to draw - a lack which I mourn daily, but c'est la vie.
