thrashing the shores,
crying, screaming, dying,
not deserved, this horrid storm,
why God? Why?
All grows still,
the eye surrounds, blackness washes over,
silent overcomes, fear binds,
and again it strikes,
harder than last,
more passion in its violence,
and it leaves hopelessness in its wake.
Fire burns, the sea pours in,
worse, this aftermath, than the storm itself.
