Now if only Eusine was real so I could chuck each tiny granules at him...
-NIGHT OWLS/STUDY/FINAL FRENZY STUFF. 8D Means free nom, eating in at least HALF the center, aaaaaaaand other free stuff.
-Spiritual "Reiki" massage. o3o T'was interesting and she has follow up meetings that she'll make/announce via email so I might learn some spiritual stuff through that. MAKES ME HAPPY BECAUSE I'M LIKE GETTING HARDLY ANY GUIDANCE AROUND HERE. >B( I have to wait until I have a problem or something to get some guidance about stuff. =o= Doesn't help that we're all college students, either.
-OMGOMOGMOMGOMGOMGOGM THE BESTEEST THING TODAY WAS THAT MY BOSS GAVE ME A PRESENT AND IT WAS JAPANESE SWEETS [no, not candy, like pocky or what comes with the import figurines, but SWEETS] AND SOME REALLY COOL SOCKS THAT HAVE CUTE LITTLE BALLS ON THE END OF THE STRING AND I'VE NEVER HAD REAL JAPANESE SWEETS BEFORE AND THE SOCKS LOOK SO WARM BUT I CAN'T WEAR 'EM RIGHT NOW 'CUZ IT'S RAINING.

-Apparently, I'm a lot more in tune with my subconscious or the powers of fate that be or whatever, because I've given a lot of people stuff they like/want. Like, my boss, I gave her a bathing set thingy that you can buy at Wal-Mart, and it's lavender. Lavender is her favorite scent in the world. I got my friend a DS FF game that he wanted that he didn't play [I wasn't sure if he had played that one or another one.]. I got ANOTHER friend some makeup that she was needing [eyeliner I think it was, idfk], and that made me go "holy crap my psychic powers are active this year".
And originally that bath stuff was gonna be my mom's present but I also bought her Brain Age for her DS so I had that spare, then remembered that I forgot my boss. 8D;;;
-This final paper is an A, 276 out of 300 points.
You pulled it off well--I wouldn't have known you started later on this at all, because it's really rich with detail and is a thorough look at the topic. Vivid examples and ideas, this is a strong paper and maybe could only use even deeper analysis of the psychology relevant here.
With this final essay grade, you have a total of 838 out of 1000 points in the class, giving you a B in the overall course. Not bad.

Okay, so yesterday, either God Himself or just the overseer of GameStop didn't want me to buy myself Pokemon Ranger 1 people video game gifts. -n- Because last time GS had B2G1 deal, it was for an entire month. This time, that weekend. URGH.
So I cooled down by looking around DeeDee's discount, the 99, and yard sales for gift ideas. [alas, I only got one out of two people that I was looking for. I still have more I'm looking for. =/]

But I found me a bigger TV that works, isn't too terribly heavy, and I won't have to squint to be able to read RPG fonts or see my character in Brawl from my bed! 8D HUZZAH!!!!!

I also sold my hardly used stereo for the same price as the TV. WIN. <3 I always do good on yard sale day, making in more than my mom each time, but also making over $5 each time. |D Feels good.


Now if only my Spanish wasn't so rusty that I kept thinking up everything in Japanese first. That's starting to get annoying....


In a few days I'll find out my final grad---OMG THERE'S AN EMOTICON BUTTON in this journal what does it do? Oh, just list 'em. D:

I got another Lance gifty art as a belated bday present today. 8D That made me really happy.
_{...How the girl knew I had Japanese and where it was I do not know, but that was awesome to receive before class even started. <3 I hugged her for like a minute until she told me that she needed to get back to class. Everyone's getting into StarCraft as of late. Tried it and the playing reminds me of Age of Empires (though I've only played II), so I shouldn't be too bad once I get through all the trial missions. [currently stuck on 30 minute survival. Can't gather enough excess material to mass produce everything. D<] Also turns out that the Brood War expansion pack they're all playing together on [via some cracker program or something and LAN], I happen to own. XD I don't need the breaker prog. [I've had a random expansion pack and not the game, and it turns out to be the one I need to play with the others. LOL!]

I always knew that we had birds that flew overhead, migrating for the winter and making a shit lot of noise every winter.


I just didn't know that they were green parrots! O_O I thought they were seagulls earlier, because all I saw was gray and they kept calling over each other, making it hard to single out the call for a long enough time to know that they weren't seagulls. At least, until my mom went outside and said they were parrots.

Haha, that was cool. <3 Not the first time I heard them, probably not the last time either. I got a few pictures, but they're not that good, since they were so high in the air and I was so low on the ground. Maybe in the future I'll be more eager to take pics of migrating birds.


And if you wanna know what the big deal is--- we don't get anything "tropical" or "nature-y" out here. This is the south, industrial side of Cali, not the north. XD Hell, I was shocked when I saw bunnies the last few months. [I'm sure they were someone's pet each time, though. Wild bunnies don't exist out here, 'cept on campus. (and those are smaller, so they're hares?)]

I'm stressed, too.
And behind in Japanese. [Well, I feel behind based on what I've learned thus far, but I'm mostly caught up on my work? *shrug*] Too bad we're not allowed to retake a Japanese class if we pass it.
Pass it and feel even further behind in J3, or fail it and get on academic probation. :/ Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. [Or I could just postpone my J3 class until next Fall instead of Spring '10, which would give me ample time to study/catch up on my vocab. Because it's mostly verb conjugations I'm having trouble remembering. And some kanji. I got grammar as long as I know the conjugation of shit and certain vocab.]


And I need to start thinking up places to work next year. Hopefully they'll unfreeze the hiring for Event Services and I can be like every other member of Anime Club and work for our advisor. Then again, I'm not sure if I could do that kind of manual labor. And everyone seems to be running around like chickens with their heads cut off because they found out five minutes ago that they've been assigned a job. =/ I'm not sure I like that lack of stability.

Or maybe I can get paid under the table or something as a TA. And maybe put in some Volunteer hours as a TA. That'd be awesome.
And sew. In theory, I should have enough time next year to sew and make money offa that.


Iunno. I'm tired and want the vacation. The next holiday isn't coming soon enough. :/

Anyone online that wanna take a stab at destroying an essay so I can write a better one? [It's based off of Descartes first two meditations in Meditations on First Philosophy.
Though I warn you now, I already know that I have a fucking long ass summary that I should cut down. @_@ It's all single spaced, too. And I have a habit of not knowing where the fuck I'm going.

BUT I COULD REALLY REALLY USE SOMEONE TO TEAR IT THE FUCK APART BEFORE NOON PST AND RIGHT NOW BECAUSE I'M AN IMPATIENT BASTARD.



On another, lighter note, I won a bid for a Nintendo WiFi USB adaptor. I should be receiving it by next week, even though the guy's instate.

I'm supaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah happy because I just found out that I scored a 252 outta 300 on my essay and that's a B, prolly almost an A. 8DDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

I'm grading essays now, and I'm giving your first paper 252 out of 300 points possible, a B.
Much of this paper works. Your writing is lucid; you cite the text well and often (always a smart move for ANY textual analysis), your opinions are sensible. Really, the main weakness here is completeness, thoroughness--there are more ideas Socrates provides that what you cover. I know you struggled a bit to find his main premises, and overall, you did a nice job. I would say that if that struggle happens again, let's meet sooner and walk through things to make sure a rough draft comes together even sooner and you can complete what you start. Really, though, this first paper is solid and I see no reason why you can't be writing A papers from here on out if you pace it right.

Anyone know where I can find the dialogue for Pokemon Platinum without having to play through a rom, when I'm already halfway through the league on the actual game?
It just takes too long to copy down all of the dialogue, and I kind of need it so I can write the Plat-based arc of Kinome's story. That way I'm not all "ffffffffffffff wtf did this character say?"

I want to get away from this noisy, inconsiderate, sewage of a state. Everyday, you hear the sirens from the police, the ambulance, the firefighters, and no one thinks to stop their cars/pull over, or wonder if someone's alright, or if their family is safe. Every SINGLE FUCKING NIGHT there are HELICOPTERS FLYING SO LOW I WOULD BE ABLE TO SEE THE PILOT IF THE LIGHT POLLUTION WAS ANY BRIGHTER. The airplanes and the helicopters are so fucking loud out here, no matter how high they are. I just spent eight minutes with my music at 70, trying to HEAR it OVER THE HELICOPTER.
And education out here sucks. Education, jobs... Students aren't being taught things that are relevant to life, and what they are being taught, they're being taught at such a young age that it is completely irrelevant to the children at that time!
I want to live somewhere where people are considerate to each other and you talk to your neighbors for more than just "Can you turn that shit down or I'll call the cops?" Where people aren't afraid to go the extra mile for others and are willing to put themselves out for others.
I want to live where I can see the stars every night, and not those with a fleeting spotlight.
I want to live where the news doesn't contain "drama". I don't want to hear about stars. Leave that to TMZ, who AREN'T afraid to speak their minds and be "personal" about another fucking human being. I don't want to see car chases or crime every single day, because fear doesn't sell for this viewer. I want to hear about what people are doing to better mankind and reverse the problems we've created, to know what I can do to help another person and about the problems we've created, even if it seems that something "major" has yet to happen.
I don't want any children that I will have to be raised without morals, like many children out here are. I don't want my daughter to dress in what was considered "lingerie" thirty years ago, to be obsessed about her looks and her social status instead of her studies or my son to think violence, gangs, and disrespecting women are "the shit". I want to live somewhere where the grass is always green because you make it that way, where it's safe for children to play for even a second outside of their parents' eyesight, and when my next vacation is so I can spend time with my family is my biggest worry, not where my next paycheck is coming from or how well my children understand the concepts of "love" and "money".

I just don't want to live here anymore.

I just hope that I've helped someone today just by being there, and that it's appreciated. I do believe that I've helped show my true colors a bit more to people, and that I did my best to help them as best as I could, even if it was nothing more than hugging and holding them back from hurting themselves or walking into something that would hurt them even more.
I also managed to not miss any classes over this! Huzzah! 8D

But today, I'm tired, exhausted really, and it really tried me. Not nearly as much as some people, but considering that I've NEVER been an emotional confident or anything of the sort in person...
I've grown. I've matured. I don't think I'm so scared of my stepfather when he's angry anymore. I've seen something scarier, and I stared right back at it with defiant eyes, almost daring them to do something. I don't like that the eyes were defiant, but I wasn't going to back down. I wanted to prove that I was there to offer support if it was asked, whether or not they liked it.
I'm just really surprised at how well I was at being unemotional [in the good way]. That even though I couldn't offer much, I was still there. I hugged and held hands and prayed silently for them to get strength. My God! I haven't so much as prayed in months. Maybe even a year! [Especially like that.]

So if you guys could just devote some positive emotion towards my unnamed friends, please. That would be so incredibly helpful. And I don't really feel like talking about the actual situation with anyone that wasn't already being informed about the relationship between these two people.
And spare just a tiny bit for me to have strength through this, because I really feel like crying over how draining this really is. I've never done this before. I want to do my best to not pick sides and only offer support and stop there from being any rash decisions done by either party. I did okay today, but things are only going get worse. We need all the strength we can get to get through this.

School
-Catch up on 1C reading+check assignment later on.
-Japanese Homework [two pages out of workbook, one kata practice, and two quiz corrections.] by tuesday.
-Study Kanji for quiz on Tuesday.
-Do Learning type assessment for Psych 1 and write two page analysis/summary/something by 16th
-Read Ch. 2 for Soc. _{[Though I think I can get away with just noting down what the teacher puts. :/ Guess that's something good for a teacher who teaches out of the book.]}
-Swing by the pool during free lap/swim time _{and practice some of those strokes. Because constantly flailing in the water is baaaaaaaaaaaad.}

Finances
-Look for second job perhaps.
-Find boxes/estimate shipping so I can sell my Barbies on eBay. [Prolly UPS ground like I did with Mamimi.]
-Pester Financial Aid about the whereabouts of my aid. _{[Gas money = ASAP, as well as determining how much is left after rent.]}

Other
-Stop loitering in the Thumbshare Forum. ;>_>
-Stop being online/playing video games for more than an hour! ^{Especially when there's homework to do!}



Things I WANT to do.

Art
-Update character images of Mel, Jenna, MSG, Tori, Chiaki sisters and possibly their profiles.
-Art Jam art
-Tippy's Art Contest
-Draw Jamie, Viktor, new clothing for Leaf.
-Make decent stamps/pairing stamps of my characters.

Other
-Play video games, beat them, and save them to trade in towards HGSS purchase.

-Writing new chapters of stuff

Yea, iunno. I hope tomorrow's fun. Cosplay always makes me happy. And being around people I know, except when they're being stupid.
I want blackboard to work. D: I don't have time tomorrow to submit before twelve, if it suddenly pops up working again. Which it would, too. Because that's how my luck is---OMG IT LOADED? *looks at tab* OH YAY! 8DDD I can do the rest of the stuff now!

Okay yay! I finished! <3333 Now I need to just create moar flashcards for Japanese, shukudai shimasu, and study! <3 And of course, read for 1C and Soc and print out the thing for Psych and start writing an essay based on my learning type and... @_@ Thank goodness I haven't started any new anime. That would make things a lot worse, wanting to watch it and all that over other things.
I also need to find my wig cap. Thankfully, the package came with two. [Too bad it was still black. D|]

But tomorrow's supposed to be a fun day! So I must be well-rested and I'll feel better knowing I did some stuff tonight, other than english. [Like, say, increasing that flashcard pile.]
