1.) Why do you dislike #11 so much?

Well...It's not a bad couple if you think of it as a temporary relation, but in the long run... I can't see them marrying and having kids and all such, as someone in the fandom put it. Angela is pretty good up to the point she meets with John, and both are good characters on their own, but I figure they're too different and seem to wear on ech other's nerves since they've got so different views on the world.


2.) Who is someone you know that ships #13? (Gabriel "Sylar" Grey and Elle Bishop )

I don't know anyone, really- not particularly active in the Heroesfandom at the moment, and I haven't started hardcoreshipping it myself yet, so there's never been the chance to seek anyone out. Feel free to holler if you're a fan, though. =)


3.) What would be your ideal scenario for couple #3? (Curtis and Hope)

Just watched the final episodes and gotta say that even though I didn't think it at first, I really grew to like them as a romantic couple too, especially the episode where Curtis is trying to get over his TV addiction. Will be drawing fanart for them some day, most likely. :love:


4.) Which is your favorite episode for #1? (Victor van Dorf and Emily)

Hard to choose, there's many cute moments between those two. I gotta say that the one that has left in my mind the best, though, is the part where Emily saves Victor from Barkis Bittern by taking a stab for him, and then has this really elegant move when she pulls the sword out of her chest & points it back at Barkis - go you, Emily, you're dead and STILL kicking @$$ =D Also, the line "I love you Victor. But you're not mine." That one makes me sad for Emily every time, the voice actress really did a good job on bringing out the feeling in that part.


5.) How long have you been following couple #6? (Marion Ravenwood and Indiana Jones)

About since last year, I think- I had seen the second movie a few times before, but it wasn't until last year I got to see the first one and to know Marion. And shit- she's undoubtedly the best girl of the movies, she's awesome! In my opinion, she and Indy are perfect for each other: they're both fun, head-over-heels characters with more personality than a barrel full of monkeys, and it doesn't feel like they're slowing each other down or something =) Plus that they're totally saving each other all the time =D


6.) What's the story with #8? What made you stop liking them/caring? (Aerith Gainsborough and Marluxia)

Well, I've kinda fallen out of the Kingdom Hearts-fandom. Ariel and Demyx is the only thing that keeps me around, and since I still like that couple I'm very much set on finishing the comic, but the Aerluxia-fancomic I was planning a few years ago will probably never come real. :shrug:

It isn't overly ''bashy'' either, incase you have had enough of that already, but more like a friendly noogie at some stuff in the storyline of mainly the second season, and puns at the actions and abilities of various characters.

Was going to draw my old Kingdom Hearts-fancharacter once again, it’s been a good while and I wanted to, since at the moment I don’t feel like starting any of the bigger projects planned. Decided to draw a fight scene, but I need a second character for the picture [link] - not just to fill out the empty space in it, but to work as opponent. So now I wonder if anyone has a character that I could borrow? Preferably one with weapon or martial arts skills, and ties to the KH universe, though the latter is not a necessity. It could be an organisation-themed one, or keyblade wielder, or anything else that might work. 1.) Why do you dislike #11 so much?

Not ’so much’, actually. I don’t really know why they as a couple didn’t interest me, but I know this much: in my opinion both Tidus and Yuna are nice characters, so it’s not because anyone of them annoy me. Perhaps they just need some time before they ’latch on’ to my mind.

2.) Who is someone you know that ships #13? ( Fox Mulder/Dana Scully)

3.) What would be your ideal scenario for couple #3? ( Aerith and Sephiroth)
…Difficult to know, really. Most of the afterlife AerithxSephiroth- fanfics I’ve read are good, but I prefer those where it’s more a kind of ’religios tension’ than love in the air.


4.) Which is your favorite episode for #1? (Gabriel and John Constantine)

That has to be pretty much anytime the two of them interact. But it wasn’t until Gabriel’s second appearance, when she was perched on top of Constantine, fondling his ears while telling him about her master plan for salvation that I really got all ’Hey, press REWIND, that scene is cute!’. Overall, in very little time the movie managed to illustrate a quite complex Archangel/ Condemned Exorcist -relation. And Tilda Swinton was an awesome angel. :worship:


5.) How long have you been following couple #6? ( Dante and Lady)

Pretty much since I first came in contact with the Devil May Cry-games, when my step-brother insisted that I should watch while he played them. Even though I mainly play the games because of the terrific gameplay and for the characters themselves- I wouldn’t need romance to like Dante or Lady, both can rock my socks on their own- but sometimes the temptation is too great. And it’s impressive how Lady at first can appear like such a b*tch, and then gradually unveil her underlaying, awesome personality until one can’t help but headbang every time she appears on the screen.

6.) What's the story with #8? What made you stop liking them/caring? (Torn and Ashelin)

The shine wore off, I guess. :shrug: Mostly in combination with the ending of the third game. But. perhaps someday I’ll pick up the 2nd game to replay it and they’ll experience a renaissance. Who knows?


7.) Which ship do you prefer - #2 or #4? (Gabriel and John vs. Trinity and Neo)

Toughest question so far, but Trinity and Neo wins this one quite easily. I simply adore everything about them, and they’re the couple that I’ve followed the longest out of all these. Gabriel/John has interesting chemistry too and I really like them, but it might just be a temporary obsession.

8.) You have the power to make one ship non-existent. Choose from #10 or #12. (Torn and Keira or William Turner and Elisabeth Swann)

If I had to choose, I’d say William/Elisabeth. Marion Ravenwood (Indiana Jones 1 & 4) :strong:

'Hard as nails' is an expression I've heard thrown around alot about Marion- and it's true! She's like a grown-up version of Pippi Longstocking: kind and warm but still a stubborn ''I'm not taking your crap'' at the inside, and at the same time with so much humour to her character it could make Goofy look dull in comparision. I can perfectly well see why Indy liked her above any other girls.

Captain Jack Sparrow (Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy) :ahoy:

There has been alot of flamboyant, flashy and charming male characters through the movie history, but not many are quite as memorable as Captain Jack Sparrow, whose true nature remains a bit of a mystery throughout the trilogy. Is he good? Evil? Neither? A skilled improvisator or just very lucky? One thing is for sure: there's more than just flash to his character, there's substance too.

Neo (The Matrix Trilogy) :matrixfight:

So really, there's so much to say about this guy, I hardly know where to start. Over the course of the movies, Neo constantly proves that 'modest' does not mean 'incapable', and he does it in the best way a movie protagonist can do it: by asskicking, martial arts and a serious amount of courage. One way or another, he’ll get the work done. I also like that the ’hacker Messiah’(as Entertainment Weekly nicknamed him) still has flaws to deal with, such as being clumsy and, as it was said, ’’Not too bright, though.’’ :

Spyro (Spyro 1. 2 & 3 ) :flame:

I have no idea of what he is like in the games made after Insomniac sold the copyright, but my old Playstation- mentor sure gave me some great childhood memories. As a child, I did actually have a crush on that purple little dragon, and you should see the amount of Spyro-themed pictures I drew. Later my attention moved to Elora, but Spyro will probably always be my favourite videogame hero.

Riza Hawkeye (FullMetal Alchemist ) :toocool:

2005, after checking out eight different shows, I thought ALL anime girls were cute and inoffensive. That’s not bad characteristics, but…it got monotonous. So because of being a complex, buttkicking and yet calmly sympathetic person, Riza Hawkeye is my all-time favourite anime/manga girl. I love every other character from the FMA-universe too, aswell as the story and action, but the main reason I started watching it was because an online friend said Riza was cool. And I can only agree. :toocool:

Demyx (Kingdom Hearts 2) :music:

…’cause really, I wouldn’t be drawing a comic with him as one of two protagonists if I didn’t like him ^^; To describe him, I’m gonna use perhaps the best word fusion I’ve ever heard: adorkable. He’s a bit dorky, a bit of a wimp, but don’t let him fool you: he fights just as good as any other boss in the game. And speaking of fighting- in best Kung fu Hustle manner he uses an instrument, more precisely a sitar, as weapon.

Trinity (The Matrix Trilogy)

My all-time favourite movie heroine, because she really makes the label ’heroine’ justice. =) Trinity is my primary role model in fiction and one of the most well-written female characters I’ve ever encountered, complex and genuine. She is clever, brave, not to mention dangerous, and yet she never feels like a MarySue. But the main reason I love her character is because she follows her principles and is an excellent definition of the phrase ’Do your best!’ :worship:
And I adore her and Neo’s love story, cause it’s so cute :love:


Fran (Final Fantasy XII)

Another beautiful kickass female character, and just like Trinity she has an air of divinity about her: Ladies and Gentlemen, let me introduce you to Fran, the warrior viera from Golmore Jungle. The thing which intrigues me the most about her is how mysterious she is: how old is she, actually? Are she and Balthier just partners in crime, or is there more? Was she just born ’out of the earth’, since there apparently aren’t any male vieras? There really is a ton of unanswered questions about this woman.

Liza Cuddy (House M.D )

Love this show, and most of all I love Cuddy. I can’t specify exactly what I like about her, except that she’s cool and smart, but what I know is that if I can’t have my weekly dose of Cuddy and all other people in the show, I’ll be like Gregory House when he’s out of Vicodin.

Nathan Petrelli (Heroes)

..So truth to be told, every single character in this show is awesome, in my opinion. But Nathan Petrelli is the kind of character that can make you love him, then hate him, and then love him again. That’s a damn difficult thing to pull off. He’s complex, well written, and I envy Peter who is lucky enough to be his baby brother- the Petrelli sibling relation is one of my favourite elements in the show. :heart: I’d also like to mention that the actor behind the character, Adrian Pasdar, is incredibly talented.

Vergil (Devil may cry)

I adore his character, even though he’s evil. Oddly enough, it feels almost the same as when one was a kid and fell in love to cartoon characters - thought I was past that period in life, but obviously not :roll:

Hermione Granger (Harry Potter)

Still the HP character I like the most (although Minerva McGonagall isn’t far behind), and in sixth grade I was even lucky enough to cosplay her on a masquerade party. Hermione is one of those characters who has convinced me to use my full intellect when talking to people, instead of trying to play dumb and win sympathy that way. Intelligent and brave - no wonder so many readers list her as one of their top favourites.

Reno (Final Fantasy: Advent Children )

Since Moe already wrote about Tifa, Rude is hard to find fitting words for and I have far to much to say about Aerith/Aeris or Yuffie to fit it in one journal, I’ll stick with a character that is slightly easier to sum up but nonetheless is just as beloved as the others: Reno is one hell of a funny man, and hot too. His way of being a comedic relief in the movie is worth a star on the Walk of Fame, because he does it so excellently.

Mma Precious Ramotswe (The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency )

Would love to meet her in real life and speak to her, she is a very interesting personality. Can’t wait to get my hands on the second book, because her colourful personality and slightly odd methods when solving crimes had me hooked from the very beginning to the last page when reading the first book. Mma Ramotswe, you rock!

Dunno, really. Likely some of Ingmar Bergman's movies, he's a good movie director but his films are simply not my pair of shoes. I could actually also mention Matrix Revolutions here- I did like it, but I still feel the whole trilogy could've ended so much better than with all that sorrow =(

Why would I tell that? But sure, I'd bury it at the bottom of a lake. We've got a few thousand here, so as long as i didn't tell which lake, it'd take a long time to find it.

Well, whatever the school is serving. I've never eaten chicken nuggets anywhere else than in school, though they do taste great=)

Well, now...Why not start on the subject of movies?
Watched the fifth Harry Potter movie last week, and although it IMO wasn't quite as good as the two first ones, it still was a quite enjoyable movie.
Gonna watch the third Pirates of the Caribbean- movie on DVD this weekend unless they have some other interesting movie on TV. Was planning to watch it already last week, but they've been airing the Lord of the Rings-trilogy the last few weeks, and even though neither I or Moe make plans on it we still always end up watching it every year. I guess it has becomen kind of a tradition, and it's well worth it because of the beautiful environment and music. They have stunning special effects too, really- plus that this time we watched it accompanied by grandma. I was surprised by how well she managed to follow the story- it appears Eowyn is her favourite character =D Gotta say, it's the first time I haven't felt psychically drained after watching those movies (they're great, but they really keep your mind busy).

Still havent't gotten to watch Tim Burton's Corpse Bride though, since I'd rather have an own disc than rent it- there's a certain satisfaction in finding a DVD-copy of a movie you've been searching for all over the place=)
We also finished watching Gandhi in religion class and Little miss Sunshine in English. They're both great movies, you shouldn't miss them! The movie about Mahatma Gandhi was excellent, and 'Little miss sunshine' was a really thoughtful movie, and very funny too=)

Then artwise...as for fanart...At least I know I'm gonna try to increase the amount of DaxterxTess-art this year, they're too darn underappreciated. ^^; I'll try to get more regular updates on the ArielDemyx comic too, won't make any absolute plans yet though. Gonna continue on project 'Must be dreaming', and perhaps I'll try writing something for the 50sentence order at Livejournal. =)

I also thought I'd try and make an improvent visavi the amount of original artworks, since I've been painfully lazy in that category. Gonna develope the universe of the Halcyonsisters a bit, make some more dolls and tree figurines, perhaps draw some still life and try more photography....I'll manage :plotting: .

And well...that's about all I've got to say. School keeps me busy, gotta leave now or I won't pull through tomorrow without sleeping through some lesson. See you! :wave:

Well, perhaps something like a narrow escape on a motorcycle? I reckon that since Agent Pace is told to be based off Trinity, she’d be a pretty awesome biker. Awesome, Trinity-based biker girl + Neo-resembling N30-agent + crowded freeway…that’d nearly equal the scene I’ve always missed in Reloaded =D

….Damn, that’s a very, VERY difficult question to me.^^; I feel immense joy simply by watching those two stand beside each other =D Though, now if I absolutely have to pick…it’d either be the kiss at the end of the first movie, or the scene at the end of Reloaded when Trinity is holding an unconscious Neo in her arms, cause those parts are just too sweet :love:


5.) How long have you been following couple #6? (Jak/Rayne)

About four months, not that idly since I’m slowly falling out of the fandom, but it’s there whenever I feel like coming back=)

6.) What's the story with #8? What made you stop liking them/caring? (Fleur/Harry)

I didn’t read the books in almost a year while trying to find an own copy of the fifth book, so I kind of lost the feeling for them during that time. =(


7.) Which ship do you prefer - #2 or #4? (Ariel/Demyx vs. Balthier/Fran)

I think I’m gonna stick to Ariel and Demyx here, they were one of my OTPs before Balthier/Fran. I like BalFran a lot, but I don’t yet know how long my interest will last. In their favor, though…they’re damn hot together, so I do hope it’ll be a good while! :drool:

All of us, both we and mom, actually forgot it, didn't remember it until the afternoon of our birthday, it was all that business about getting to the airport in time to get on the flight back home and such. But...sixteen! The same age as Ariel in the first Little Mermaid-movie :w00t: Though, sadly not as pretty, but whatever^^;

Well, now I'm back fom London, which by the way is a great place in my opinion, both regarding the size and the overall impression=) People were so friendly! Every time we started to feel like we had gotten lost in there, someone always showed up like out of nowhere and asked if we needed help finding our way. And it seems they were rather fascinated by twins too, everyone we met asked if I and Moe were twins. =D
It's quite beautiful too, though in the end we hardly noticed it since the houses all were just as pretty as the next one and lay quite crowded together with shops in the areas we moved. First day we went on a sightseeing trip around the most famous parts of the city, the guide was excellent and knew one lot of interesting facts about the places, plus he had a great sense of humour. We saw Big Ben, tower Bridge, Westminster Abbey, London eye, a very small part of Buckingham palace and all that famous jazz. Mom. whom is a big fan of Agatha Christie, also dragged us along to see Baker street. Second day we went shopping and strolled around in Hyde Park ll day trying to find the toilets :xd:. It was quite fascinating to see Speaker's corner, though we looked more than we listened. Luckily mom decided we'd go back to the hotel instead of paying a visit to Harrods, my feet were about to die by the time we came back.

On the flight home I got to speak to a very nice Briton, we talked quite much about the differences between Finland and Great Britain. Felt kind of sad to come back home, God I'm gonna miss London alot. Definitely gonna go back there in a few years=)

Otherways... not much to tell. The camp last week and the one before that went well. Watched s cheesy but hilarious play at TV together with Moe, our cousins and the grandparents, and the evening turned out very well=) Going to Kaustinen tomorrow, looking forward to that.

The DemyxAriel-comic is still going well forward, but I need to sit down and give the storyline some better detailing before I trip on it.
And I'm just as Matrix-obsessed as I was two months ago. Working on a picture off the twins from Reloaded, and I really feel like doing some more TriNeo-fanwork. But gotta work on Arimyx first! Ah, them OTPs...:love:

But I thought (something I usually not do, it's easier to leave that to Moe =D ) I might try on a larger project than I usually do. It's kind of like the 100 themes-challenges, but instead of 100 subjects to illustrate it'd be about illustrating each part in a song text. I chose Frou Frou's 'Must be dreaming' since it has quite variating lyrics, hopefully I'm gonna make it through.

Jak and Daxter, and they still are the fandom I feel most at home with. =)

My second gamefandom is Kingdom Hearts, though I haven't played it yet. So until there's money enough to buy the game (after buying a new headset and correcting a struggling part in the keybord either myself or by paying someone to do it) I'll just watch some cutscenes at Kh- vids.net and read fanfiction. But I know one thing: Axel ROCKS! :headbang:

Yep, my time as subscriber is over soon. I'm gonna miss it, it was really funny to be one. So I want to say thanks, dA, for this week, I really appreciated it. And I want to say thanks to all my friends to, for all their friendly comments, for doing so great art, for answering the question in latest journal, to everyone. No, I'm not leaving dA (Oh, don't cry now, dudes), but I just felt for telling my friends and watchers how much I appreciate them. Not everyone have been so lucky. And I want to say thanks to everybody who commented my picture of Keira as an ottsel , I've never gotten so many at once.

Ok, this reached my ears...eyes...whatever when wrote it. Anyway...ya have to write twenty things about yourself, and choose six peoples who have to do the same. So the six first who read this....go ahead and write!
