Somehow, since it seems that sources from the left and the right are partaking, the world has put ambiguity on the shelf for this month of late february and early march; strangely, i'm not sure what it means when every person, who has now become writers of their own biographies, has decided that analogy or allegory, that those metaphors with the tree or the hamster or the dragon or the fairie queen, or the heart feeling like a tornado or a hurricane or paper airplane or how the breath of a loved one is moist and disturbing like a humidifier, how all of those devices, those inventions are nothing compared to the raw blood dripping logos of how it really is, how it really feels, what we really think.

I'd like to think that everyone can embrace themselves without hiding behind cheap tricks and awkward language games, I'd also like to believe that everyone is capable of writing something quite beautiful and profound and meaningful from their own experiences. Every word we speak is poetry, the language of today and yesterday and the future will always be poetic, and it will always be something quite beautiful.

So, little ole DA box of thoughts for the muse that finished reading a chapter on the goddess Demeter as the holiest day in the Christian faith spills over to "Good Monday," may you be the herald, and may I rest content.

I think music in the future will be much like the electronica and electro-clash we hear today. Automatically the band Ladytron comes to mind as a frontrunner for the type of music I envision, but, of course, technological advances will surely jostle my idea into some unexpected direction. However, based on current trends I have made up in my head, I hope that the future finds the rawness associated with classic 50s bands of the 20th century and incorporates an electronic sound in the 50s bands of the 21st century. What rawness? How would I define it? oh boy, I could write a whole essay on it. But instead, I will lazily draw upon the idea with little elaboration before my next class, because a failure to pen ideas can lead to no ideas at all. And while people are so busy building their credibility I like to be up in the sky enjoying the view down below. wow, ramble machine over here. not really, oh well.
My experimentation isn't poetry, and it takes me longer to write prose (if I can even call it that). Although, I really say this so I feel like it hasn't slipped away from me completely, like I still have a hold of something I want to do, even if I don't have enough time to really devote to it.

The last song on the cd is four piano chords repeated over and over again. The singer's voice is soft and slips through the airwaves like a slight gust. I fade away in the repitition as if it is a lullabye. Slowly it all turns bright, and I am where my senses fail me. And what depiciton does that earn?

I want hot air balloons and polar ice caps. Dangling brown hair and honest smiles. Lyrical conversation and rattling blades of grass.

Spring forth humanity.
Fall back civilization.
Those neon signs ruin everything,

I have a song on repeat, "How to Fight Loneliness" by Wilco.
The song that is meant for cloudy days,
Where the air feels grey and cold and drips all over my skin.
The acoustic guitar steals the thought of going on.
Will I feel the same on the next song?
Will its notes elicit images sewn in memories?

The sky's moisture always rises, mine always falls. And there are these places that exist as mere fragments of memory, of the autumns so recent, so far gone; past places tucked underneath my frame like lost notes unraveled beneath the beams of my bed. Perhaps that faint violin and the light piano tapping is the rainfall, the buzzing sound before everything falls apart toward the ground, bearing dirty reflections in the pavement and slippery walkways.

Old letters are simple timelines that just drag me into the ground. New face, new trace; oh novelty, you've stretched my exterior like plastic wings.

There are some things
That I should get over.
I mean,
there is someone.
The world is grim.

My ear is bleeding.
I went to San Antonio:
-the streets are gruesomely small
-the city seems like a large amusement park
-hardrock cafe is overpriced
-one waitress reminded me of the mom in Artificial Intelligence (that really underrated movie about robots with Haley Joel Osmen)
-the Alamo is just an old building
-the riverwalk is an overrated irrigation canal
-Weezer's Pinkerton is a good singalong for the car
Conclusion:
Why did I leave Austin? Austin > San Antonio.

This coming Friday might be special.! (?!)
