Well, I am officially going back to Arizona tonight...I will be leaving in the afternoon. With my business concluded up here I decided to take some time and finish a project I had forgotten about (and didn't realize I wasn't fully finished with): Myth Wars! Things I've learned on this trip:

-- Online car rental insurance is 3rd party, even from a trusted site.
-- Photobucket does not have an option to sort pictures by file-name anymore.
-- Returning a rental car is WAY easier than obtaining one.
-- Rain is not uncommon in February in Detroit.
-- The Chevy Aveo headlights do not turn off unless the car is off.
-- Good windsheild wipers are not standard features on Chevy Aveos.
-- It takes a lot longer to get from Detroit to Mount Pleasant, MI than I remember.
-- The Chevy Aveo is so light it can easily be pushed around on a freeway by gusts of wind.

Well, for my birthday (Saturday, August 18th) it looks like I've got a full schedule, so I probably won't be on at all for the better part of the day (maybe real late at night or even the 19th). I've been here since Thursday and I'll be here until Sunday. I'm fairly sure that no one who watches me will be at the con, but if you are we can meet and say hi (though most of the con is already over; only Sunday left virtually).

This is purely my opinion here; so I'm sure most of you who read this will disagree (if not all of you) and that's alright...this is just my views and my pet peeves that I want to vent about. Well, I FINALLY sold my items on eBay today! I had sold them before, but the buyer didn't pay so I had to get my listing fees back before I could list it again; and fortunately it sold the 2nd time around to a new buyer; who did pay right away. The package was sent out today, so hopefully they enjoy the BRS figures more than I did. ;^^

Also finally got a new pole today. Sounds dull, right? As some of you may know, I bought 3 BRS figures that ended up being fakes. They're by no means terrible looking, but they are most certainly fakes and easily noted to be so. ;^^

My problems started about a week ago or so. I had left my computer on because it doesn't pick up the wireless signal I use very well. However, my power cord got unplugged somehow while I was at work and it ended up going into hibernation; and therefore lost the signal.

I had to fix this, so I asked my neighbor, who has a wireless repeater, what he used and where he got his. He ended up giving me a spare he had but it couldn't pick up the signal in the house.

Well; I'm still sick, but I've gotten a lot better. Two days of rest have really helped me and I feel a lot better now, but not 100% yet.

This year I'm celebrating by myself. My mom is with a friend celebrating so I'm going to just sit at home here and watch T.V's countdown for the new year. ^.^

I'm heading back to work tomorrow. Hopefully things will get better in the coming year; we'll see though.

It's been a while, I know. I'm currently without net...in a way. The normal net I use is down so I had to shell out $35 so I could get a reliable net connection for a month. The only problem is that it's not in my house...I have to go into the backyard to get it. =_=

So I'm currently sitting in my backyard with a rudimentary desk setup (consisting of a step ladder) with an extension cord to my laptop.

This sucks.

Today went better than yesterday. Well; I'm sure most of you have noticed that I haven't done any new art in...forever. The truth is I don't know when I will get to it, if I ever do.

I know that I always have an excuse for not doing my art, but mainly it comes down to no time and no motivation...mainly the time constraint. I'm training to become a manager at my workplace; and with that I will virtually have no free time at all anymore. The concert was fantastic...it started off with an announcer saying, "Welcome to the 2008 Montreal Film Festival!", which was really funny! Reggie Watts opened for Conan, but no one knew he was, so everyone was wondering who he was at first. XD

I had my trip planned out for the summer; to go to BotCon in Florida. I was going to spend a week there; enjoying Disney World, Cape Kennedy and the con. I had plenty of money and the hotel was already paid for and everything...

...Then my grandma decides that it's a wonderful idea to go to a nursing home! This means that I have to pay rent...$350/month, which equates to $1,050.00 by June.

That took away all my extra money and then some. =_=

So, now, I can't go. I already cancelled my hotel (I am getting 100% of my money back, fortunately).

This is purely my opinion here; so I'm sure most of you who read this will disagree (if not all of you) and that's alright...this is just my views and my pet peeves that I want to vent about.
