My Mother refused to go around the corner to the shops (which would have taken her approximately 8 minutes- at the most) because she was worried about my brother drowning in the shower.
My brother is nearly 12.

Her reasoning was this;
“He could use too much shampoo and then some of the foam could mix with the water on the floor and make the tiles extra slippery and he could slip while reaching for the shower gel and bang his head on the taps. His body could then fall unconsciously to the ground – in such a position that he blocked the drain pipe - and then the shower could fill up and he could drown. It’s possible!”

This was said with a serious, concerned face and tone of voice.
Honestly.

I was amused.

Some of you may notice that my gallery is now almost empty, this is because my pictures were hideous and I no longer had/have any desire to be associated with any of them.

I’m not claiming to be an artist of any talent, (yet- I will be one day…. I hope…) but I can draw a hell of a lot better now than I could then.

I only left three pictures in my gallery, and I only left those because I drew them for other people; and they aren’t as crappy as all the other stuff.

I also deleted almost all my journals.
