They're making a Lucchini Nendoroid, too. I can't wait until the painted version is shown. Must-get!

The Shining Wind Kureha looks pretty good too... I haven't played the game but I like her design.

And did I mention the Black Rock Shooter figure coming out this August? Looks like they're making a World Is Mine figure, too. What's next, Meltdown? (<- That would be awesome.)

Wow, Fushi, that's a great idea!

So here I am. Just pokin' witches, trying to make sense of the dialogue I can only read like 3% of (I did find out that Kamome is a yaoi fangirl, though), pokin' witches, pokin' Rekka and Neon and Himeki... then the light on my DS turned red.

"Well, hell," I thought. "I was on the last chapter, too."

So I plug in my DS to charge, turn off the light in my closet (which is a lot less noticeable to parental units than if the room light was on the whole time)...

Veeeeeery "interesting".

....okay, that's a lie. Not that kind of interesting.

In order of occurrence....

So I beat DokiMajo Duo. Again. This time around I got a hella lotta reverse pandas, a couple of those rabbit things, and I even saw a new CG of that creepy guy who goes "afufufu" trying to make Kuro _{(who is a devil and obviously the mpreg baby of our Kuro and Devi)} dress up in some frilly swimsuit thing. Yeah. Not even poor Kuro is safe from the shenaniganry. But then she used that cute "tobetobenyaaaa" spell thing and a giant reverse panda fell on him. All was well.

But then after the credits, we went back to Akuji's house (the one from the first game) and Kureha was there and then there was this CG of Kureha topless in _{(what I assume to be)} Akuji's bed. I am not making this up. And this did not happen in my first playthrough. Or... ever. In the first game, I usually got either Maho talking to Akuji or Eve and Lulu talking to Akuji. No CGs there. And in the CG gallery you can replay the entire aftercredits scene so this might be exactly what I think it is. Well, it IS rated 17+...

Oh, and I unlocked Free Witch Check mode. Now I can poke them witches wheneeeeever I want, huhuhu. I'm trying to find the little extra "jiggles" in Nami and Nagi's witch check, cuz there aren't really any of those little arm-movement-things in their first pose (their witch checks are the same, just with different voices) but the alleged butt-jiggle (like in Yuuma's witch check) that was shown in the trailer turned out to be a lie because they're holding this white board over it. So that kinda sucks, cuz I really like those two. "Senpa~i!"

And I found something else pretty awesome that I know at least one of you will like. I'll tell you all when I get to Mom's house (I've been at Dad's most of the week) so I can upload the pictures I took (cuz yes, I took pictures because I love you guys), but for those who have the game... Go to the Omake/Extra Chapter menu and select the one called "Myself? Yourself?" (in English). Then hold down the Y button scroll through it until you get to what may be the closest we can ever get to accomplishing our dream.

Did you think this was going to be an interesting journal concerning internet life? What, are you crazy?




So today is Exhibition Day. Dad made me whip up a project for Project Period yesterday that involved me printing out some of my more decent pictures (with the exception of "cats kill birds", cuz there are gonna be little kids running around and who knows, some might recognize "Zoey") and printing them out on shiny, shiny paper. You shoulda seen how my Neon picture looked. Holy hell.

Don't worry, I'm not gonna leave this at an awkward "Hrmmm, how do I reply to this" end, I'm going to type something that will hopefully interest you so feel free to ignore the rest of the journal that isn't beyond this point.

So last Sunday, I made Mom order something for me online cuz I kinda really wanted it, and I AM turning bootleg Miku into Kasane Teto...

And then, yesterday, I broke into Mom's PO Box and WHOOOOO there it was! So I opened it up in the ooooold jeep and holy hbvcjhjxccvc it was like impossible to keep her out of her box (and it was even #33!) so I opened it caaaaarefully even though there was a high risk of arms and leeks flying everywhere but I opened it reeeeeally carefully and THERE SHE WAS HOLY FGJMCVFGZFGHHJHJ

I swear, guys, she is so beautiful in person. My camera's at Mom's house, so I'll try to take some pictures of her later but she's just SO amazing, I hope the camera can capture that.

Wanna know just how amazing?

Being a fanartist sucks. What with all the crap going around about how "cheap and unoriginal" it is, how it's getting lumped together with tracing and art theft, hearing "You should draw your own instead of copy" from teachers all the time...

It's really, really discouraging.

So! This weekend I'm going to...

1.) Do another Nendoroid photoshoot (Friday night)
2.) Update the blog (Saturday morning/afternoon)
3.) Teach myself to draw again (Saturday night/Sunday morning)

And you will be seeing a looooot more of Onnanoko Mix from now on.

Yes, I know that nobody really gives a shit about Onnanoko Mix.

I know you all want to see more kawaii Tokyo Mew Mew stuff.

I know you want me to finish up those eight pictures I'm supposedly working on.

I also know that the name "Onnanoko Mix" is ripped from some doujin circle that draws a lot of pr0n. Yes, I did that on purpose. _{Saw a TMM doujin on eBay, saw "Onnanoko Mix", thought "Wow, what a cool name!" and it stuck.}

I just realized something.

Forget what I just said. I'd delete it but I don't really want to. (No, this is not an edit.)

I am not a professional artist.

I won't ever be a professional artist.

"Onnanoko Mix" is not going to be a bestseller or classic or sold in bookstores across America or blah blah blah, since "Amerimanga" is soooo terrible and all.

I don't think it really matters if someone who can't get beyond posting his crappy art on some crappy website that (now) allows art theft (as long as you don't get caught) draws a bit of fanart.

It just sucks that people insist on bashing it so much (like the guy who took fanart, drew mustaches over it and called it "fanart of fanart", for example).

So here's the problem. Yes, this journal isn't really getting at any specific point or anything since I'm just thinking "aloud" right now. But here's the problem.

I don't particularly enjoy drawing my completely original characters (Kizu and Paru for example, as opposed to Kiyomi or Succhan, who are both "fancharacters"). And it doesn't help that Onnanoko Mix always gets the least votes in polls. This is probably my fault, since, as I said, I don't particularly enjoy drawing them, so most of you don't know who any of them are and automatically vote for Fushi (whose name I should really, really change).

And these days, "original" art is what it's all about and if you draw fanart you're cheap and unoriginal and you suck. (But tracing is perfectly fine...?)

...

So what? Do I just stop drawing?

I was going to try to teach myself again but now I just... don't feel like it.

I don't know.

Yes, I know you guys are probably going "God, there he goes again" because of all the stupid whining/drama/"go get them, loli army" I post a lot.

This isn't because of an art thief, _{(If you're looking for one, though, check out the newest Higurashi stuff)} or dA's shitty new policies, or because my sub's running out, or because I'm mobbed by weeaboo Tokyo Mew Mew fangirls (though that happens a lot less frequently these days).

I seriously can't draw right now.

Shit like [link] I can draw fine, but I can tell that my REAL art is going downhill.

One of the reasons is because it just isn't as fun anymore. It's like "Disappearance of Hatsune Miku" (yes, I know comparing serious issues to Miku songs is stupid, shut up).

Except now it's time for class and I can't even finish this journal so people are going to make stupid assumptions and think I'm just getting butthurt over something. I know how it goes.

Pretty much! Except I'm not being deleted or anything. And drawing doesn't "rot my body away," it's just... not fun and my art actually sucks. What do I do if I can't even draw faces anymore?

I mean... I thought I was getting good. I really did. I thought, "This is it", "I'm finally going to be a good artist", etc etc. I'd gathered all these reference pictures, I was finally going to look and see what I had been doing wrong and make it right, y'know? [link] was the beginning of that, and it was definitely a good beginning, since it turned out so well~

But now that's over. The one thing I was good at and had a chance with. Guess I can't even have that anymore.

So I kinda confronted Mom about it last night.

What the hell was she doing? You can pick up Melissa without her pumpkin falling apart. I mean, it'd be nice if she actually, y'know, was gentle with the stuff that cost Dad and I over $200?

It would also be nice if she helped me look for it, but no. Why would she do a thing like that.

This isn't the first time she's done shit like this. She's always taking everything out of my coat pockets and scattering it around and then I can't freaking find it (and conveniently she can't remember either), then there was the time I was getting all pumped up about getting another bootleg Miku so I could mod it into a Kasane Teto Nendoroid (because when I get a real Miku, I figured I could give the one I have now to Roxy) and Mom flat-out tells me how dumb that sounds and walks away, and then when I was trying to write my essay (the one I NEEDED to finish to pass Social Studies) and Mom's WHINING at me from upstairs every five minutes as if that's really supposed to make me work faster!

I'm probably just getting worked up over stupid little things _{(as usual)} but she's really been getting on my nerves lately and I can't stand this anymore. =____=; If this keeps up, I just might ask Dad if I can move back in again...

Okay, first of all. I know you guys are gonna hate me for this but I'm gonna sorta trace the original frames so it doesn't turn out like the horrible deformed disaster that was "Danjyo".

Anyway.

Iiiii think it turned out pretty good. I tried to only trace what I needed to so it, y'know, looks like something out of the video. And who knows, a few months after I finish this, I might still think it's decent.

First frame has Ibara (formerly known as "Green") and Suzuna (AKA "Succhan") being kawaii-desssss. I found a scan of someone's science notes on Google image search so I edited it onto the chalkboard because I am a PAINTNET GEEEEEENYUS.

So what should I draw for it (kana kana)? Last time (30k), I drew yandere!Ichigo with blood and feathers (which was NOT supposed to be anti-Mint, btw). Except now I don't draw TMM (with the exception of the "blue girls" pic). Hmm.

Let's see. I can do Vocaloid, Higurashi, DDMS, Pokeh-mans... Umm... ummmm... any of my original characters? But that'd end with no one being interested (and I want this one to get higher on my secret Top 10 list than Cats Kill Birds). Uhh.

Right, right~! Now that it's 2009, it's time to start making resolutions! Let's see... I resolve to... work on PokeKe and G.i.j.i.n.k.a.s. more! Especially that pointless little PokeKe doujin I wrote, and maybe I'll even doujin-i-fy (and if all else fails, fanfic-i-fy) that one alternate-universe G.i.j.i.n.k.a.s. idea I got from doing that character meme I never posted, the one where *somebody* goes killer-loli due to a *certain* incident but then he gets poisoned (not like that u huntai) and dies. Bad end.

Wait, didn't I spoil who it was just by saying "he"? And how many of the characters are poison-type, anyway? Oh well, oh well~ Not like this *certain* incident could possibly happen anywhere but an AU anyway, since Shi-- Ah, oh well, oh well~





Last resolution! From now on, I'll stop using "~" and all those cute little anime phrases from now on! In real life, too! Like "mu" and "nyeh" and "gwah"! No wonder people keep mistaking me for a girl around here... >>

I dreamed about, um... Pokemon and school, I guess. Some messed up mix of the two, anyway. Can't really remember much, though.

Then I woke up again. Kinda lay there for a while with Buttercup (my cat)... then I thought I heard something rustling outside.

So I kinda sit up, look out the window and HOOOOOOOOOOSHIT it's snowing again.

Hopefully it's all melted and stupid-warm by tomorrow, because I'm going off-island.

Anyway! Dad's girlfriend is going back home. She might already be on the plane or something by now but oh shit I just realized again that it's still snowing and what if the flight gets canceled?

Meh.

So tonight. Dad and I are gonna have a Higurashi party.

Meaning IF THE SNOW DOESN'T KILL THE INTERNET we're going to watch aaaaaall eleven episodes of the very last arc.

That's right, we've gotten that far in the series.

The other day, I was just doing some random dA browsing when I happened upon... some yaoi.

And who doesn't like yaoi? (Don't answer that.)

However, upon clicking the "show anyway" button... it was complete and utter pr0n.

Now, before you guys get all "WHERE IS THIS GOING HUH" on me... It was stolen pr0n.

Not trying to pull an "unacceptable" here. I mean, that wasn't even really bad. But this was like actual eroge-level pr0nitude (useless pixel censoring and all) and it was stolen pr0nitude to boot.

So I thought to myself, "I'd better report this," however, then I thought of an idea.

An experiment, let's say.

I've reported tooooons of things as art theft. Sometimes it takes months before I get back even an "invalid". And believe me...

*cough* Where were we?

Right. So instead of adding yet another thing to the "MewFushi report pile", why don't we spice things up a bit?

This time I reported it as pornography.

I've done that before, actually. The last time was a picture of some anime girl lying upside-down against a wall with a bottle of milk cleverly inserted in her--

Right. So I reported the stolen yaoi as porn. I added in the Anything else you think we should know box, "it's not even their art".

Voila, we have ourselves an art theft report. Except in the form of a porn report. Another addition to the "MewFushi report pile", but... "spicier". *dead*

Less than a day later.
