The folks of Broken Icon Comics put on an excellent show! Not even qualifying it based on its first-year status—it was a great convention all around, had it been the fifth or fifteenth year for it! Glad to have such a well-organized, much needed, full-blown comic convention in my neck of the woods!

I just finished the pencils for it in a little under a week, and started on the inks a few hours ago. Already have about four pages inked!

Honestly, it's looking pretty doubtful that I'll actually "finish" it.

And honestly, as I said before, it's likely a counterproductive thing to have in my "portfolio" if I'm serious about getting a job at Disney or Pixar.

I'm still not calling it quits. But with it being stored away, out of the gallery for now, I'm going to feel less tied (down) to it, so the possibilities of me finishing the last dozen or so pages will likely dwindle.

The art direction, character design and animation are fantastic!
I know hundreds of animation nerds have already said this, but this CGI film really does have the feel of a traditional, hand-drawn animation film. I was constantly looking forward to the next shot; everything in this movie just looks great!

Any style, any medium, any size. Just make sure it's tightened up and presented at least as a little more polished than a quick doodle. Linework is fine, but since we're taking the whole month let's at least shoot for well-rendered sketches.

Any of the ones I've seen on deviantART are usually hosted by Premium Users who can keep updating the same journal entry with an array of thumbnail links to all the participating entries. Since I don't have a Premium account, I can't do thumbnails.

I'm thinking I could maybe make a favorites Collection dedicated to each Jam and just link to everybody's entries that way, but it's still a slightly "out of the way" method.

Just thought I'd let you know that I'll be posting the first chapter of Bonnie Lass online in short time...!!

I'm going to finish up work on chapter 2, then work up some new promotional art, then start sharing the first installment of the series here on dA and a few other places.
