We were quite close considering how big the place is. But still far away enough for me to hardly be able to see him. So most of the time I was watching the screen. BUT STILL.

He was funny as ever, and I found myself laughing when no one esle was, simply because of his mannerisms or something stupid like that. And sadly he was in man mode (hence the show being called 'Stripped' ) though he was wearing eye make up.

I bought a programme which came with a poster, some pictures and a canvas bag -which, seems to be current trend at the moment, anyone else noticed that?- and I also bought a keyring.

So, I'm guessing also, that you, like me, continuously produce artwork and will always look for some kind of acknowledgement or praise. If you live with your parent(s) then you'll know they are the easiest target to show your work to.

But if you're continuously producing artwork and they're continuously having to judge it, the novelty of your hobby is going to wear off, right?

I felt sick which kinda ruined it for me but he was still awesome.

We saw our head teacher there and said hello to each other.... that was weird!! He even asked what we thought of the show today at school. How strange.

But back to the Minch; Ready for This was a brief but bloody amazing song. He did a load of songs that we knew already and a couple we'd never heard before FUCK IT I REALLY LOVE BOOBS THOUGH that was hilarious and somewhat unexpected and then there was the audience participation song I LOVE JESUS, I LOVE JESUS, I HATE FAGGOTS... that made me laugh. He was wearing these horrible trousers though (lol). Zebra print. Niiice.

Um um um, he did Storm too, and I think he did it really well.

Oh, and there was this guy in the front row and Tim asked if he was here on his own. The said his wife was at the back of the theatre. Tim asked why, and the dude said it was because she didn't like him ('him' being Minchin). IT WAS FUNNIER THAN I'M MAKING IT SEEM.

It was good.

Friday night was the best. Exciting. We had an extensive talk about sex. I was incredibly drunk until Harry fell over and cracked his head open - in two places - and we had to ring for an ambulance... that sobered me up a little.

I hardly got any sleep that night. And it was FREEZING and we were in a tent. So I was a little groggy on Saturday. Harry returned from hospital with thirteen stiches, happy and healthy though.

That night went really slowly, but it was still fun. We had hog roast - yum! My cousin came over and a couple of my mum's friends so I was in more familiar company. (Lots of people were there and I didn't know most of them)

I'll look forward to seeing certain people again - Tina (who was the one who talked about sex the most), Harry, Keith (who fancied), a German guy whose name I can't remember and a few others. There were loads of people I didn't even get to speak to.

And now I STINK of smoke, pig and general outdoorsyness.

I need a bath.

I did a bit of art work - quite big, in pastel. For my room, I was thinking. I did a space scene, like moon, stars, a planet. And I did a galaxy type thing. In the galaxy I did a Bowie-esque face. I thought it looked ok, pretty cool really.

I started this the other day and finished today. It took me that long to realise my pink galaxy-with-a-face looks like Tony fucking Harrison.

I'm going to try and enjoy this summer as much as I possibly can

The sun puts me in a good mood (except when I'm walking in it), it makes the atmosphere really nice.

Today we bought big plastic wine glasses and a big plastic jug and we're having fruity fruity Pimms at the weekend.

The garden, which was previously a shit hole, is now... mud and concrete. But we're gonna plant grass seeds soon. And hopefully we can get a cheap table and chairs to go on the concrete. And Jumbo (mum's boy friend) is gonna get a gazebo (sp?). All very cheap, though. All very working class

Tomorrow me and mum are making tea for my nan, possibly my aunty and possibly Jumbo and we'll have a games night. How silly

A lot happened today (yes, I have a very boring life). Went to the doctors to have my ear syringed. It didn't work properly. -_- Then I had my tetanus jab. I don't mind needles but it left a lasting effect. Bloody hurts. Then I got my new glasses. Yay.

Tomorrow bank appointment then nans.

I find it really hard to cry at films. It's not that I don't want to, it's just my eyes seem to dry up, haha.

(For some reason, Friends seems to make make me want to cry a lot lol)

And there are some films that have made me cry. Plus, I've cried at Animal Hospital enough times.

But I was listening to a song called The Staunton Lick by Lemon Jelly. It's the song that plays at the end of the last episode of the last series of Spaced, I think. And I swear, I welled up.

I don't cry when watching the programme, just listening to the song made me sad.

Oh dear. As I said, I am very silly.

And we were three rows away from him! We could see facial expressions and the spit coming from his mouth and everything!

I embarrassed my friend because I was laughing so loud and I continued to laugh when everyone else had stopped! I COULDN'T HELP IT, SOME OF HIS JOKES WERE PARTICULARLY FUNNY!!

He caught some twonk filming him and we could tell that he was genuinly pissed off. We were on the ground floor and this idiot was above us - we were like, in the middle of the intensity which was quite awkward! But of course Ed carried on professionally.

Overall, he was top notch!
