Ah well....

Ooo So I posted a rough draft #2 of my merrow ^.^ so go and look at her ! Lemme know if you see anything that needs fixin' ! I'm trying to decide between watercolors or pastels for the background...I'm more comfortable with watercolors, but I really love how pastels look x.X *torn* anyways...I think I'm gunna color in the actual merrow with my shiny new markers ^.^

Also, I'm super-excited because on Thursday Alan and I are going to NY (>^.^> (<^.^< (he's dancing...get it ? yeahhhhhhh ^.^) we may get to go see Niagra Falls which will be even more exciting! I'll be sure to take a bunch of pictures ^.^

And sorry Faffers, but Colleen is still fun ! She's not scared of any rides ! You can go on the tilt-a-HURL with her haha.

haha I've realized that I spend much more time finding the right song to listen to than actually drawing...It's strange but I really can't draw unless I've got somethin good ^.^ and It was funny cause last time I was havin a hard time getting her nose right (since it's a profile...I have such a hard time with them!) and earlier I literally picked a song, put on my headphones and got it fixed in 2 strokes.

Next (and I've already started it) I'm gunna draw a merrow, which is an Irish mermaid. I think I may put up my idea page and see what you all think...cause there's a few areas of her that I'm not sure what to do with yet...So I'd appreciate it if you all could give me a lil input ! ^.^

If anybody can think of a cute type of fishy to be her buddy lemme know ! Cause at the moment I cant think of a good one x.X

And after that I wanna do a pic of Ambellina, a chara from the Coheed and Cambria story ^.^ It'll be dramatic ^.^ She's an angel-like character that's been chosen to watch over another chara and in order to do so she has to burn her wings...and her hair apparently ...so yeah I'm gunna have some fun with fire *snickers*

I've already finished my plan page for my merrow...but I have to wait until I get home to post it on here...I'm at my lil sister's place because of school at the moment and I don't have my scanner:'(

Oh and just as a side note...I got to draw blood from a real live kitty today...I was so nervous and was all shaky but I did well and I got enough to run all of the pre-op tests that we had to do. It may not be all that exciting to anybody else but I'm happy ^.^

But on a bad note...a flippin pen exploded in my purse so I had to buy a new one x.X...the new one is cute...but I feel bad because I don't wanna waste the old one...I'm cheap and poor haha

My Ayabie-obsessed lil sis has gotten me addicted to the girly-boys x.X they're all I've wanted to listen to lately and it really sucks because I've downloaded most of their CD's...but it's sitting at 96% so a lot of the songs cut off halfway through..it's so frustrating *pulls hair*

Anyways...I'm excited cause I've finally got time to work on some things ^.^ I'm almost done with my current project wheoooww ! ^.^

Then I got a break and all I felt like doing was playing games ^.^ Like Persona 3 which I'm totally addicted to now gahh x.X

but I am working on a couple of pictures....I'm drawing some merrows (irish mermaids) and I'm working on a wolf piccy....also...I want to draw some of the Disney princesses in my style and if anybody has any ideas of what to put in the backgrounds for some of them I'm totally open for suggestions !! ^.^

I beat Twilight Princess ! woo ! SO exciting ! And I have to say...that out of all of the princesses in any game...Midna is my favorite ! ^.^ She's just so adorable !

Because I just found out that I've been accepted into the veterinary technology program at BRCC !! WOOT WOOT WOOT !! I've wanted to do something with animals my whole life and it's soooooo awesome that I'm FINALLY going to be able to start learning how to help them ! *does the happy dance*
Phew I can breathe....I've been running around the house because I'm so excited hehe

What's even more awesome...is that I may be able (after I graduate of course) to work at a zoo and work with all of the neato exotic animals ! Like tigers ! or lions ! or monkeys ! or parrots ! or bears ! or or koalas ! or kangaroos ! or or ....

I found a pic of Naruto that I think would be perfect to test 'em out on but first I need to find the time to sketch it and all of that good junk, so don't expect it to be up for a looong time yet hehe.

I also got a new car ! Well, a "new-to-me" car ^.^ It's a '96 GMC Jimmy and it's purdy ^.^ and I love it cause it sits up high bwaha ^.^

I need to think of a name for her though...and I'm stumped at the moment so if anybody has any ideas let me know ! (She's red by the way in case that helps any heh)

it fades from yellow at the top to orange at the bottom in a sort of wavy/moving pattern which I think really fits my Yoko-Yumi since her name means "beautiful sunchild"

Right now I'm working on a LOTR picture (the first I've done really ! which is surprising x.X) that I'm going to be finishing in watercolor. It's probably going to take me a little while longer since I need to find out where I can actually sit and paint it...I have no usable table in my home x.X I was hoping that it would be nice outside sometime in the next couple of days so that I could sit outside and finish it.

I've been working on a new pic for a while now, and probably will be for a good while longer, I'm trying to make it look really nice ^.^ and oddly I'm happy with it so far...usually I hate my pics until I'm just about done with them

I got a set of books that teaches you how to read and write Japanese (it's so neat ! I'm excited !) and I brought it to work..(I work at an Italian place in case you didn't know) and one of the owners' brother picked up the book and was walking around with it and laughing. When I went to ask what was so funny he told me it was funny to try and say the Japanese words in Italian. I just smiled and walked away and heard him mumble and laugh some more. I thought it was funny anyway heh but maybe it's one of those "you'd have to have been there" things ^.^

Anyways...I guess I'll go and study some Japanese ! ^.^

nah actually it's not THAT bad...since I brought my new heated throw blanket with me ^.^ man I love that thing hehe
Christmas was fun, got up early and opened all kinds of presents and stuff
Then I went shopping with Sam and Ryan and spent too much so I won't let myself go to the big art store that's in Syracuse cause I know I'd spend even more there cause there's so much stuff that I wanna get...and I was *REALLY* looking forward to going there too oh well that's what I get

Most of all I miss Alan and my Momo :'( I really wish they were up here with me ^.^ <333

I've been working on a little christmas-y sketch for the whole time that I've been up here, no it's not anything complicated, it's actually really really simple, I've just been adding stuff slowly whenever I get bored. I have to wait 'till i get home to finish it though since I packed up all of my colored pencils/pastels/pencils/crayons/pens/watercolors/you get the point heh

Well, i'm gunna get offa here and maybe go read some manga or my new Japanese history book thingy which is really neato. I went and bought the first vol. of both Bleach and Naruto. I've been wanting to read them both from the beginning since the story is about in the middle of each of 'em in Shonen Jump and I get lost sometimes. I woulda gotten the animes, but I like the manga more ^.^

or maybe i'll just pick on Abbie and Angel ^.^
