As you may know, when you buy art from Midnight Wolven, you have many, many choices, and we want to give them all to you. So we would like to explain that when you send in your request, what little nitpicky questions we would like to ask. They vary from 'Would you like Cartoon style or realistic style drawing?' to 'What type of inking do you like?'.
We like to make you happy and come back again! So don't be intimidated if we start asking you tons of questions!

When it comes to you buying the art and us selling it, you also have a few choices. we would greatly appreciate it if you payed us via Paypal, seeing as it is a quick and efficient way. But if you do not have paypal, you will have to send a check or money in the mail-meaning snail mail. We would like to point out that it would not be our fault if your money gets lost in the mail. We would be terribly sorry, but would still be expecting the payment. Our original Commission artwork to you would be shipped in a very cushioned and paper-friendly box with cardboard, so it wont get bent! (which means Shipping and Handling cost is +$2 *or more if your out of the US*)
It is very possible that we will have more choices of you pay to us, so please keep checking back here for more information, and please tell us what you prefer so we can see if it is possible for us.

We would like to say that all money from Midnight Wolven Commissions will be put in a fund for travels to Further Confusion 2006, and other meaningful additions to help out both artists.

Midnight Wolven's commission prices are based mostly upon how the buyer wants a picture-it includes number of characters, how detailed characters are, background, etc. You must also remember that by drawing your picture, we are using resources such as paper and pencils that are expensive, so we are being very reasonable and pretty cheap in the sense.

Starting with the most basic and easiest prices to the hardest, we list:
Headshots
plain colored headshot- $5(Realistic-+$2)
+$4 for each additional character after that(Realistic-+$2)
Characters with complex appearances might cost a little more
Full characters
One colored character-$10 (Realistic-+$2)
+$9 for each additional character after that (Realistic-+$2)
Characters with complex appearances might cost a little more
Backgrounds and props with Full characters
Detailed props in foreground- +$4
Slight background with not much detail- +$6
Full-fledged background with much detail-+$12

If you have an idea for a commission you want and know the details, feel free to talk to us to just ask what the total Price would be. We can be contacted through e-mail, AIM, or Notes.

Commissions from the paws of Vision and Idess

What is Midnight Wolven?
Midnight Wolven is a project put together by =Idess and =Visionwolf . Here, we do collaborations of our art, Idess draws them and Vision colors.

Do you guys do requests, trades, or commissions?
We do not take requests here, and we do not do trades as a collaboration. Midnight Wolven was specificaly desgined for commissions. But please keep in mind that the individual artists may be accepting these things. Check out our pages for information.

What are you're guys' prices?
Our prices vary widely according to the picture and what is in it. Please check out our Prices page for more information

What's your media, meaning color, ink, and paper?
Depending on the picture, our base is either smooth Bristol cardstock paper; or watercolor paper also looks nice with the pictures. The inking will be done by whoever the buyer chooses, Idess for the quality thin ink and thick outlines, Vision for the all around thick ink look.
Then when it comes time to color, Vision uses her Prismacolor and Berol pencils.

I can see Idess can draw cartoon and realistic style. Will the prices be different for these two different styles?
As you are the buyer, we ask you What style you would prefer. And yes, everything on the pricing page is based for 'cartoon' pictures, and if you wanted something in realistic style, just add $2 to the character prices. Please see our Customer Service About the questions and Pricing Page For the comparative Prices

Why do you charge a whole $2 extra just for realistic style?
Different times and different ways of coloring and drawing are used for the styles. Cartoon is simpler, and easier, hence cheaper. There isn't much detail in it, and the coloring is more solid, the shading not so precise. It uses up less inking, and less of Vision's pencils, so the price would be lower. However, the more realistic style takes more time, concentration, energy, studying... more pencils, more labor, more pens, more detail So it's quite simple why we add in that two extra dollars.
