As it was with previous years, we still haven't finished a comic to be displayed at the Artist Alley, which has been a goal for some years now. But I feel that I'm becoming a bit more productive, and that I can hopefully show you some designs of original characters.
But now it's convention time, I'll return from the weekend inspired, eager to draw and maybe a bit poorer. Heck, they have some good offers on anime sometimes!

The last exam was oral, in a subject called AT which deals with a topic that has to be presented and discussed in two different faculties. My topic was the Shinkansen trains in Japan, in the two subjects social geography and social studies. Those subjects aren't exactly my strongest, but this time it worked out! I got a 10 in my AT exam, which is like the 6 in IB, or the A- in the US. So my average is looking pretty good.

But remember the Kiriban also, people! There are less than 50 pageviews until it, and remember to take a screenshot and send it to me (e-mail is in contact information, but you have to write it into the address bar 'cause it's not a real link :b)

So yeah, the next few days will be hectic, with all the celebration and moving into my new apartment in Copenhagen, so I'm afraid the Trilby drawing will be delayed.. :/

It's gonna be greater, better and cooler than ever! I have saved up some money to buy loads of manga and merch. Even though I was planning to get myself a table to sell my stuff, I didn't get around to make enough drawings to sell as prints. So I will spend the next year drawing a bunch of things. And start working on my yuri comic.

Anyway, on sunday I will dress up as the Joker from Batman: The Dark Knight. I received a lot of positive response from when I first dressed up as him on Halloween, and it feels damn good to play a schizofrenic anarchist :b

I will team up with and and I will probably meet and a couple of other people.

Saturday night I'm going to Rock the Night at The Rock, which is a night of rock, metal and strippers

As you've probably noticed, I finally updated this account with 3 brand new deviations! These are the main characters of my little series called Angrybird. That's the line I've probably been saying most the past week. Me and my friend Hans () have been sitting in front of our computers reading Katekyo Hitman Reborn! aloud to each other. We choose the characters that we voice and then just read the thing.
And I voice Gokudera-kun, which is a good training for growling =K

Recently I've been doing a bit of drawing, I'm working on a steampunk guy, he's about 80% finished. And I found a submission by of a girl sitting on top of a table with a bag on her head. Supposedly, it's by his friend that is doing a comic that he will soon upload to deviantART.
I drew after the drawing, and I hope I'll be able to submit it on DA soon along with some other artwork. Of course I'm going to give credit for it

I just watched Beowulf tonight, and I can tell that it rocks. Some of it is kind of americanized, but otherwise, it's a movie that will turn boys into men!

Well, I dunno how much I can tell about what's new, other than I got myself an iPod for Christmas, and I have become attached to it.. Wonderful little thing..

I'm planning to sew myself a long goth coat, and I have been designing a bit of it now, and I plan on buying some black cotton soon. I will take a picture of it when I'm finished!

I was dressed up as L from Death Note (easiest costume ever), and my friend was dressed up as Light. We roamed the gameroom and ate lots of french fries because there was no Pocky this year. I got meself 3 posters of Death Note, Bleach and Ichigo 100% volumes 1 and a Moi Dix Mois CD.

This year was great, although too much yaoi. Way too much. I mean, I have nothing against homosexuality, but seriously... MOAR YURI!

So, let's see..

1) In my world, the word 'embarrassing' doesn't exist. It's not because there's no word for it in Danish, oh dear, but why need a word for that? I don't believe in pride or shame, I believe that the things you do are actions of your own free will, and what has been done has been done. "Oops! If I could just have changed this and that, because it would make me perfect". No one is perfect. Live with it. That's why I dare running around in kilts, thrift store clothes and homesewn clothes at school. People laugh at me, but hey, if I bring a smile to their lips, doesn't that mean I'm doing a good deed?

2) I tend to change clothes at least two times a day, because I live at a boarding school near the high school I attend, so I just go and change in the lunch break. I don't quite know why, I just feel like it.

3) I'm quite the multi-artist. I play the guitar, the piano, a little bass, I draw, but I'm horrible at painting, I have natural dance moves, and I have an okay singing voice. The problem is, I am equally skilled in a lot of things, while I really would like to be able to excel at one thing: drawing. People tell me that I'm really good at it, but the only thing I kind of 'master', are faces. And I'm not even very good at that either. I envy people who can make a masterpiece in photoshop, and I don't know one 5th of the functions in the program.

4) I'm wiccan, or neopagan or whatever you want to call it, and I try to follow The Rede; "An' it harm none, do what ye want", but I have this really strong insectophobia, and that means that any bug that gets into my room never lives to see another day. It's cruel, but it's my property. Egads, I sound like a friggin' amendment-following American...

5) I really can't take criticism, but I have become a lot better at it. I know I shouldn't take it personally, but I tend to. Argh, gotta work on that.

6) I think this is pretty common for most people, but I usually sit up all night to write an assigment for school that I have to hand in the next day. For instance, I have to write 575 words in German for tomorrow. Sigh, better get started.

7) I doodle in class. A LOT. But a lot of people do that. But I do. A LOT.

8) I caught Shinya's drumstick at a Dir en Grey concert!



In other news, my comic won no prize in the great manga contest. Guess I should have worked on it a tad more in the summer break. Anyway, I'll probably have the chance sometime else. It has inspired me to become better at drawing and using photoshop.

We had to write an assignment in English class, and I chose to write a story. With only a few grammatical errors, I got top grade! I'd like to thank Hans, Hannah and my English vocabulary

Oh yeah, about the art; I'm afraid you're going to wait a little longer, I know I already announced upcoming art in March, but eh.. I can't get my hands on a scanner. But when I do, loads of art is going to fill my small gallery. So please be patient, as I'm working on the case.

But it said that this username was already in use, so I retrieved my password and logged on. I checked the last login date, and it said June 24th, and I was wondering how it could have escaped my mind that I had created an account not nearly a month ago. Then I checked the year, and it said 2005, and suddenly I remembered; I had created an account more than a year ago, bearing this name! So that is quite a surprise... And I apologise for the grand inactivity of this account, but now I want to become more active, and soon I will post my drawings and pictures and other things I might just create ^^
