I....honestly don't understand the appeal of Vocaloid. >n>;;
I think the characters have wonderful character designs, but I cannot stand the singing. At all.
It's the generic high-pitched kawaii animu stuff that I would be going ga-ga over if I was still the weaboo I was in junior high.
I don't find it as annoying as I had before, because the fandom has kind of quieted down a little. Now it's Hetalia.

This is the reason I never show her anything.

I'm very tempted to pull up my gallery and show her that it's the complete opposite; I almost never draw scantily clad woman.


I was going to see if I could get her permission to go to one of those nude drawing classes BUT HAHAHAHAHA I can already tell the answer will be no.


(by the way, this argument came about because I was trying to decide which photo I've taken to use for a stipple drawing, so I showed her this and a few other images, and am then told I shouldn't draw anything else sexy.
Although nothing I plan on submitting in my portfolio for portfolio day has cleavage.

Miku is not a very happy panda.

There was some dramallama at my house about two weeks ago, because my stepmom said that she would send in the forms for me and Erin's booth at Afest before we left on vacation (about a month ago), and she never did. So, after some fights and crap, it got sent in two mondays ago.

It hurts even more because I wasn't there.
He was old, and he was sick (although I was told two days ago he was doing better), and I knew he would probably pass on sometime this year.

But I wanted to at least pet him and give him one last hug.

EDIT; Gah it's going to be so weird not hearing him huff puff as he walks to the water bowl and climbs through the doggy door.
...and we even put in a new doggy door about a month ago that was easier for him. :C

I've also been e-mailing my mom while she's in Mexico with some friends, and she even said "I´m going to feel lonely when I´m home alone working in my office and he´s not next to me on the floor. :("

Although she's not a huge fan of dogs, she really liked smokey.
(more than Skyler because Skyler gets in you way all the time xD;; )

I came home to my mom's house to learn that our old fart dog is sick, with some sort of....I dunno whut it's called. D8 But he basically has no sense of balance right now and is in a constant super-dizzy state. Dx
He can't even stand up, and his head is staying tilted to the side (making him look retarded fff)

It's not fatal, thank goodness.
There's a small chance he has a brain tumor, but it's highly unlikely.
Most of the stuff my stepdad looked up said it would be gone anytime from three days to two weeks.


So I'm going to be watching after him for the next few days, meaning I won't be on to giggle with you losers as much.
He's pitiful right nowwww.

A-kon was pretty awesome~
I never got to meet up with *skasumi, though, because we had communication errors and stuff. >: I'm dissappointed.

But anyway.
Basic run-through:
FRIDAY- ashley convinced our teachers to let us out five minutes early, so we all went home, got our stuff, and headed to Dallas. We got our badges and frolicked around the AA and dealer's room, bought stuff, then got in line for the concert.
We helped with putting up the chairs in the Opening Ceremony, because if you did so they let you stay in there until the concert and not have to wait in line. 8D
But then we had some trouble where Carrie left her phone in the room, Ashley went to get it, then I dropped my phone, I had to ask staff and go to the info desk to get it, blah blah blah.
But the concert was pretty neat. I only stayed for ALSDEAD, because I was tired and liked their music better than Camino's, actually.
AND THEN I WENT TO BED.
SATURDAY- woke up and got dressed, and of course, my mother insisted on taking 3849759834 photos. :C
I had to buy a new loli hat, because mine broke. D8 Which was weird, because I super-glued it like crazy and it wasn't anywhere where someone might step on it. But anyway.
We frolicked around the AA and dealer's room again. Sarah, Leah, Barbara, some of Barbara's friends, and I all went to the maid contest that Alisa entered, where the announcer was a man in a maid dress, so Sarah and I continuously went, "IT'S A TRAP."
We also got in the Autograph line for ALSDEAD. c: So I bought a CD and got them to sign it. We were in line with this crazy fan, though, who kept squealing every time we got a little bit closer. It was alright at first, but after awhile, I wanted to tell her to shut up. Dx We went back to the room after that and saw Ashley off since she and ~darkjester-reala were going to prom. We were all tired so we skipped the cosplay and masquerade ball and ate azn food in the room and watched Taken. xD
My loli shoes were KILLING MY FEET for some reason this year. Leah suggested that my feet might have grown, but I unno. D8 It hurts to walk and one of my toes in numb (not good.)
SUNDAY- we were woken up at 4:30 in the morning because some asshat decided to pull the fire alarm or something, and the hotel staff came over an intercom to inform us. We didn't get back to sleep until around 6 because we ended up talking, and learning about con drama that happened to Barbara. Dx IT sucked.
AND THEN I FELL ASLEEP UNTIL MY ALARM WENT OFF AT 8, WHICH I IGNORED AND WENT BACK TO SLEEP and then was woken up at 9 by Leah. >:C
we ended up waiting for about 2 hours though, while everyone else got ready.
Then we commenced to frolic in the AA and Dealer's room again, where I ran into my lovely friend ~ErikoAmamura 8D <3333
AND THEN WE WENT HOME AND HERE I AM~

It turned out to be a set-up between my teacher and two of the boys in my class >:C
The two guys hid in the back closet with a piece of plexiglass attrached to a string, and then yanked it down from where it was when they heard us ask a question.

In my art class today, we were talking about haunted places and all that jazz, so Julie got this crazy idea in her head to make a Ouija board and use it in the school. We decided to to try the darkroom, since it's been rumored that it's haunted.
Just fyi, I only went in there with them because I was curious and I didn't think it would work. : |

But it did.

We did the whole "good spirits only please" thing, with Julie being the talker and asking the questions. First thing we asked was "Are there any good spirits that want to talk to us?"
It moved to "Yes". The three girls with their hands on the planchette swore they weren't moving it. (this was when I started freaking out and grabbed Kelsey's hand C8 )
We then asked it other questions, but for some reason weren't getting a response, and eventually Julie said "Okay, do you want to talk to us?"
and the second she asked that, we heard a loud, banging and crashing noise from across the room.
AND THEN WE RAN OUT SCREAMING.

Ashley and Kelsey and a few different people went in there again later and got out of it that it was a girl and might've gone to our school.

BUT IT'S SO EFFING CREEPY because of all the stories about weird things in the darkroom, including me once seeing a girl sitting in a chair and when I looked again there was no one there.

Whether you believe it or not depends on whether you believe in ghosts, I guess. I've heard too many stories that can't be logically explained, so I kind of sort of believe in them. Basically, I believe in them but I don't want them to be real. 8D;;

But I am never touching a Ouija board or going in the darkroom ever again. ;A;

Apparently she died around the time I posted this.

I couldn't sleep last night.
;_;

So I just found out that one of my friends, whom I've known since freshman year, is going to die.

She's had lymphoma since around September, and she improved and all, but apparently she now has organ failure. The cancer spread to her gallbladder, and they can't operate because her bloods coagulating or something like that (I may watch Grey's Anatomy, but I do not speak doctor 8D;; ).
So she now has only one night left to live.

I really want to go visit her, but it's the night before my APUSH exam, and I know it'll make me upset and I don't want to have that affect my exam.
Which makes me feel really, really bad.

My dad, stepmom, and I decided we would go see a movie this afternoon. A Haunting in Connecticut, with the movie posters of the child barfing a demon or butterflies or whatever the heck it is, wasn't out yet so were all like "O HAY THE KNOWING SOUNDS COOL LET'S GO SEE IT".

It was.....okay.

I sliced my finger in art today lol :'D
I was cutting illustration board, and my finger apparently was not on the ruler like it should be, and I went WHAM AND IT WAS SHARP AND CUT THROUGH MY NAIL.

For some odd reason, I don't seem to freak out when I cut myself.

Like last year in art club, I accidentally cut my finger while using the paper cutter, and I was basically like "o hay I'm bleeding! : D;;"
while everyone else freaked out.

BECAUSE I KNOW YOU TOTALLY WANT TO HEAR ABOUT MY DAY, I'M TYPING THIS NICE JOURNAL FOR YOU.
APPRECIATE IT. >:C

So I ended up getting to VASE at around 9, AND THEN PROCEEDED TO BE LOST 8DD
I had to call my teacher to make sure I was in the right place OTL
I found another one of the kids in my art class, and we stood in line together to get our crap qualified. D: Gaaah long line. Not fun.
AND THEN, THE WONDERFUL JUDGING.

The first judge I had was new to it, and you could tell because she totally relied on the sheet. xD;;
But she really liked my piece, and didn't really have anything bad to say about it.
...which I was kind of disappointed in, because it was a piece I didn't really like and I'm not sure why D':
My second judge was a happy old fat man 8D;; that was the guy that judged my raven piece, and he was all "O HAY I USED TO DO PEN AND INK : DD" and he really liked it, too.

I'm really glad that the judges were really nice.
If I had come in and they were all "sdhfs khdkj THIS PIECE SUCKS >:C" I would have run off crying.
BUUUUT, AS IT TURNS OUT, both of my pieces got fours, which means they went onto the second round. <3 So they were out into the judging for the ones that go to state~

after everyone was done judging, my class went to Chilis to eat lunch
AND MY TEACHER AND ONE OF THE GIRLS GOT INTO A COMPETITION OF WHO COULD MAKE A BETTER PENIS OUT OF THESE PIECES OF CELERY.
OH, HOW IT WAS AMUSING.

Then we came back and looked at some of the other artwork, and chillax'd.
AND THEN I CAME HOME.

AND I AM AWAITING LOVELACE TO CALL AND TELL ME THE RESULTS

EDIT So Lovelace called, and it turns out mine didn't make it to state, but Dani's did 8D
AND
Lovelace promised that if any of us got to state, she was going to get a tattoo with our year number on it. and a tiger.

We're trying to convince her to get it on her belly button.
You know, have the mouth going rawr on the bellybutton.
