So now when I'm finally here I decided to write an update journal!

I have a shirt with the peace-symbol in it and the words "Love, peace & understanding". I thought it'd be fun to divide my journal into sections entitled like the words

Love

Oh, I fell in love... I suffered so much and now it finally paid off.

On 9th May, I was at the bar, chilling out and drinking with my best friends, as usually on Saturday nights...
And there he was, the guy I've known since last Autumn, who I secretly loved all this time.
And just when he stood up and said he was going home, I realised I couldn't let him go this time. I realised I couldn't take the pain anymore. So I yelled "Hey you!", grabbeb him by the collar of his coat and kissed him! Then, I lost my balance and fell right there on the ground :'D

And we've been together ever since

Peace

As you can see, I finally have a lot of spare time! I was so busy with studies, mostly, and now I finally can spend some free time and chill out!

I spend most of the time with my friend Pietu and my boyfriend Tuomas, but since both of them have work and I don't (lazy! ), I should have some time for myself too... That means that I might start spending time here again and get back to drawing! <3 Oh how long it's been :3

I might submit a fairly old piece, from about two months ago, but I think I'll also doodle some new stuff up ;D

Understanding

So, I graduated! I went through one of the hardest educational systems in the world (I think) and I... well, I lived!

I am now a proud upper secondary school graduate! :3

As for the future, I applied to universities, to study English or Journalism. The application exams were hard, but now they're over and all I can do now is wait for the results, which are due to arrive in the middle of July...

I'm excited about moving to a new city, starting a new life but...

It seems that I really screwed up in the home stretch: I always thought that it's good I don't have much people who are close to me and who I really love in my homearea... But along came Tuomas and stole my heart :/

Well, I've decided not to worry about it too much but rather to enjoy the time I have left!

Okay, so, I have now finished Upper Secondary School, as many of my friends already know.

I have applied to three different studies in universities, one of them being architecture (and the others are English and journalism).

This journal was supposed to be about how my preliminary assignment passed and how I must start studying for the Math exam now but...

... Turns out I didn't make it! I called them and they said "Unfortunately you didn't make it this year"

Okay, so the now oh-so-ironic title here, Reality Check, was originally meant as a title that tells you what this is about: what's going on in my real life right now.

Well, I mentioned the cruise!

Oh, I won a cruise and I went on it a week ago, with my two friends, Pietu and Tuomas, and it's was the. BEST. TRIP. EVER!!!

I learmed a lot about sharing a room with two men XD Okay, well it wasn't hard at all. Not for me
Seriously, never had so much fun in my life! x3 And the boys also enjoyed it, Tuomas keeps asking me "when's the next cruise?" D

There's not much to say about my real life now, except that the university entrance exams and my upcoming graduation will be taking my time this month (and a bit on June too)

Now, on the artsy stuff!

I haven't been drawing much, EXCEPT for the preliminary assignments.

So, coming up: pictures of the architecture preliminary assignments! :33 They're pretty cute, in my opinion... Apparently not cute enough tho XD

The silver lining in this cloud: now I don't have to study for the math exam! Next year I'll apply again if my current studies don't interest me (probably English)

Talking about English, it's getting rusty! >_> I found it pretty hard to write this journal, and I'm quite sure there's some things in it that hurt your ears... Oh well

Okay, the consequences this will probably have...
I'm going to university next year, so I won't really miss much of my "lifestyle" anyways... But my parents will probably move away from this town, since Dad will be unemployed and Mom... Well she can always change schools, not to mention that there won't be much kids at school when people start moving away.

Poor Dad... He still has many years left to retirement D: All was taken from him...

For me personally, I just find it sad that I won't really be able to spend my holidays from university here, in the town that has been my hometown for whole my life...

I know, I know, there are so much worse things, so much worse fates in this world, but... This is still a huge shock for many people around here.

And I have a different lifestyle nowadays; I go out with my friends every weekend... Very different from the nerdy activities I used to do for a couple of years now... I love being 18 :3

Oh and I haven't been able to use the computer for a while since me, the idiot got a terrible spyware on it and we had to "initialize" (or what ever the fuck it is in English) the computer so now I have to install everything again... Luckily we were able to save the most important stuff, like photos and drawings :3

So yeah, life is good! And oh, the exams went well! Especially English :3 And I didn't even read for it lol

Well, Mile is my nickname ;D It comes from the two first syllables of my first and middle name, Mil- and E-

A few years ago, this boy in my hometown died tragically. I remember the day; I was reading for my Swedish test when I heard the rescuing-helicopter.

So, when I once walked by the accidentplace, the streetlight turned off... I got real scared but I said to myself "It was just a scary coinsidence".

But tonight, I went biking... I went so late because I didn't want to go during daytime when there's "much" people around and I had to wait for my hair to get dry... I biked by the accidentplace, thought about the time when the light scarily went off...

My heart nearly stopped when it happened again. O_o


I dunno, maybe it's just that it somehow goes off everytime someone walks near... But I can't think of a reasonable explanation for this O_o

Well, I just came back home from my bikingtrip, I found courage to bike through some other places too... I also biked close to the place and I think the light was on again...

Believe this, I'm not the lying kind of person! >_< If you're my close friend, you know it well.

I'm reasonable enough to put this all behind and not think about it anymore... But 've gotta admit, it was one of the scariest moments in my life!

1: I don't want to be close to the toaster when the breads jump out, I'm afraid that I... it scares me !

2: I can put my knees in the opposite direction! Wanna see?! *everyone tries to keep their food in* ...Erhm, sorry

3: I can't stand WOOL! No wool clothing, the only one I can wear is a sweater... Even writing about this makes my teeth hurt! O_x

4: I always check our mailbox when I come home...Even in the middle of the night!!!

5: I don't hold the pencil in the "right" way. I hold my fingers in the weirdest way all the time, and I have never seen anyone else doing it... I also made a video of me drawing, and it shows this weird habit... The video is posted to Youtube, and it's called "Mile draws"... Check it out if you want to ^^

6: Always have to make my bed...
