I'm sick of people telling me what I can and cannot do.
I'm sick of people overestimating me.
Telling me "YOU CAN DO IT" when I fail something doesn't help. At all.
It just makes things worse. Makes me feel like I didn't try my best. Which I did.
How the hell are you supposed to know put effort into my essays? Why can't you just accept I'm not good enough to take the subject?
You go around saying "OH BUT PEOPLE WHO GOT WORSE THAN YOU ARE TAKING THE SUBJECT", but one: I got the lowest mark in the class and two: You respect THEIR choice. Respect mine! Let them try again for another year. I for one, have had ENOUGH.
It labels me as stupid? So be it. I ain't smart.
Sorry for the emo rambling, but the new school year is around the corner, and I'm not looking forward to doing mainstream Chinese again. I would have been able to make it, but I think my Chinese teacher insisted I can't take it.
I'm probably making a big deal about it, considering the 9000 journals I have on the subject...But you try enduring something you simply can't understand. Try enduring it for 7 years. And knowing there's a way out, knowing you can get out, but everybody says you can't anyway.
I'm just sick and tired of it.

On a brighter note: I'm looking very forward to the Christmas present from my mom. :V

Okay okay okay! I kind of want to write/draw out a simple story of Star-crossed lovers. LIKE TWILIGHT LOLOLOL.
I'm thinking of doing something that generic because I want it to be short and simple.

So we all know the generic star-crossed lovers story goes like this:

1. Girl and Boy meet.
2. Girl in Boy FALL IN LURVE.
3. Girl and Boy find OBSTACLE THAT PREVENTS THAR LOVE OHNOES.
4. Girl and Boy fix conflict.
5. Girl and Boy have hot, steamy sex.
6. Girl and Boy live happily ever after.

Events 4 and 5 can be switched with each other.

SO! What I want to know is what kind of "unique", "different" and "cool" conflict should I put between them?
Like:

- Time
- Parents
- RACE LOLOLOLOL

And SHOULD I PUT IN SFW SEX?

- YES
- NO
- ONLY IF YOU MAKE IT TWO MANZ

Right now, my present idea is to do a story of a guy in ancient times and a girl in modern times.
Meeting event:

- Boy, in ancient times, goes to market place and sees a girl in strange clothes being surrounded by the various people in the market place. They want to know why she's dressed so weirdly and where she came from. They start chasing her.
- Girl, in modern times, is walking home from school when she comes across a strange market place in the middle of the road. Suddenly, all the people face her and start chasing her, calling her a "witch" and all that. She quickly flees to her own house, but realizes that a boy in ancient clothes has followed her in.

...I hope I'm not being confusing here!! To try to explain, it's that there times are interlocking, however this only happens for varying amounts of time.

So, share your ideas with me! I kinda like my idea, but it's a bit too complicated. :I Don't want to confuse the readers!

Okay guys, something happened yesterday that really pissed me off. |:
Me and 2 other friends were eating at McDonald's (Though all I had was Ice-Cream...XD) when one of my classmates approached me. She invited me to go with her, but I'd already made plans with the girls I was sitting with, so...Also, I didn't really want to with her. Don't get me wrong, back then I liked her; she's tons of fun to be around to just talk nonsense. However...I've found that she seems a little...Hateful? Like, whoever I talked to or interacted with was either a "retard" or a "f'in fat b*tch". |: As someone who's actually fat, you can imagine how uncomfortable that made me.
Anyway, at McDonald's, she said some really stupid things like how she doesn't need to study next year (with a C5 overall this year, 4 fails, and wanting to take up full literature? Keep dreaming, dear) cos she's "sooooo smart" (though the so smart may just have been a joke) and how she doesn't want to give a crap about studying because there are better things to do. (Which is true, I could list a thousand things I'd rather do than study, but you think she'd have learnt to study after forgetting certain body parts for the Biology exam paper and then just writing "Balls". Yeah, you know what I mean.) And then she went to ask personal questions to my friend, even though they're not really close. However, the straw that broke the camel's back was this:

She whispered to me that these three slightly big-sized girls were "gross". You know why? Because they were "EATING TOO MANY FRIES WITH TONS OF FATS AND OH THAT'S SO FATTENING SINNERS SINNERS." One of my friends tried to reason that there were three of them, so if they piled three medium fries together it'd be that size, but it was too late. Classmate kept on going on about "BUT IT'S GOT SO MUCH FATS IT'S SO GROSS DON'T THEY CARE ABOUT BEING FAT" We tried to get her to stop by saying things like "Oh, there's exercise" and "Bigger women are curvier" but she's all like "AS IF YOU NERDS EXERCISE" and "CURVES IN THE WRONGS PLACES".

Then she left, and the girls next to use kept on flashing us dirty looks. D: And they barely touched their fries as well.

So, yeah, WHAT? I'm so angry with her harping about being fat all the time. I mean, it's good to be aware about oils, fats, and eating in moderation. But it's not okay to go around saying EVERYBODY THAT'S NOT A BEANPOLE IS FAT. I've seen some of the girls that she's called f'in fat b*itches, and let me just say what she's spouting is utter CRAP. One she called fat was HER OWN BODY SIZE FOR GOODNESS' SAKE. I AM FAT. NOT THE PEOPLE SHE'S ACCUSING.

And why does being bigger sized automatically make you "Gross" and "Ugly"? I think it's quite true that when you're bigger, you're bigger all around. So yes, bigger women are naturally a lot curvier than skinny women. Not to mention more hugable. 8D;;; I've seen some big sized woman that are absolutely gorgeous. And I don't think I'm terribly hideous either, though I'm pretty close!! LOL

And I'm sick of the prejudice of fat women being unhealthy, though I'm not speaking for myself here. (I eat unhealthy food too much. ) One of the other girls she called an f'in fat b*tch is while not fat, a little chubby around the cheeks (which I personally think is cute) but that does not make her UNHEALTHY. She's an excellent netballer, dancer, super flexible and has a pair of disgustingly powerful legs. I bet she's actually HEALTHIER THAN THAT STUPID CLASSMATE OF MINE.

As someone who's actually really fat, I'm just so frustrated with her running her mouth like that. My Lame Interpretation 8D

So, I think the "spinning" in the song is a metaphor for something the singer is good at/enjoys doing. However, she finds that all her friends are better at it than her. So, she pushes them aside and keeps getting better at it (which is why the distance that she sings her arms can reach keeps increasing). Then when she finally makes it, or "flies up", as expressed in the song, she realizes that everything has changed and that she now wants to go back to when she was not so good at "spinning", but still had her friends.

What do you think? (That kinda made me feel better after bombing my literature paper. :V)

Okay, now for my journal title discussion: If you do not play a certain video game, can you still consider yourself a "fan" of the game?

My personal opinion on this is No.

The main reason for why I feel this is because of the main reason that you should enjoy a game: How it plays.
The game can have the hottest characters and the coolest plot ever, but if it plays terrible, it's most likely a very terrible game.

If people focused on how good a game was based on characters/plot/options/anything but the gameplay, surely things like Street Fighter and Virtua Fighter would never have made it. (Since I think we can all agree that Virtua Fighter series and the earlier street fighter games had sad plots and characters. )

Of course, this is not the case as we know Street Fighter is one of the most well known and well received fighters of today and Virtua Fighter is one of the most balanced and tactical.

And when we look at things like Dead Or Alive, while the graphics are amazing and the character designs are beautiful, the clunky gameplay (like the easy to execute counter system) let it down as a video game.

What I'm getting it at is that if you're going to say you like a game but have never even played, how can you say you like it at all?

Another example is the Pop'n Music "Controversy" a few years back on the BMS forums. On the character thread, many were gushing about how the Pop'n Music characters were wonderful and "I MUST DRAW FANART". This spouted discussions on whether they actually Played the game. And the thing is, a lot didn't. And while some comments were rude, it was quite true: Shouldn't you be enjoying Pop'n Music for the uniqueness in how it plays, in how it doesn't resemble any instrument unlike most music simulations, and how fun and challenging the gameplay charts can get?

Shouldn't gameplay always be priority in how much you enjoy a GAME?

Okay, I think by now, you're all wondering why I started this rant. It's because of my sister. She once saw my bro playing Left4Dead, and then she went to search for all sorts of videos about it and now she acts as if she knows everything about it; she won't shut up about a game SHE HASN'T EVEN PLAYED YET. There are other examples, like Battle Fantasia and Blazblue, where she just watches and then gushes over it, but Left4Dead is the biggest one. Frankly, I'm pissed at how hypocritical it can be, like how she can go around acting like some big authority and face-palming when people don't know what she's talking about. Because, you know:
1. THEY HAVEN'T PLAYED THE DAMN GAME.
2. AND NEITHER HAVE YOU. SO SHUT UP ABOUT IT.

My bro got two new fighting games, Battle Fantasia and KoF XII.

But Battle Fantasia pretty fun! It was hard for me to pick up at first, since I've been spoiled by running and air dashes, and the first character I picked was Watson D:, but it's really fun!!

So far I've tried out Watson, Cedric, Olivia and Odile and Dokurod. Man I love Dokurod. xD He's sooooo sarcastic. I may play with Donvalve or Ashley today.

Yes, I've been playing Blazblue, and I must say, I love it. The characters are super interesting, as is the story.
So far I've played as Rachel, Taokaka and Carl. They all have amazingly original fighting styles. (Especially the fact that Rachel can use the wind to manipulate the field.) I was thinking of playing as Jin (SEXY SEXY SEXY), but his personality scared me off. Poor Ragna. I prefer him now. Tried Arakune once too, his fighting style is...Interesting. So is his voice.
I can't wait to unlock the true ending. Seems epic.

About this video game...Honestly, I'm only playing it for Miku. |:
It's just THAT boring. The gameplay gets monotonous after awhile because it's just THE SAME DRUM BEAT OVER AND OVER. And there are these very awkward pauses where you don't do anything at all.
And while this may just exclusive to me, I find the game very confusing. I have no idea how to win. I think I'm doing fine then BLIP! FAIL. I find the sound very laggy too.
I'll try it again, but honestly, even Miku herself isn't pushing my expectations of this game up.

Okay, now, I'm really really miffed with the choices my school is making about swine flu.

First they cancel the singing competition...
Then they postpone the arts festival to a SUNDAY, which is terribly inconvenient for those who go to church (me included)...
Then they cancel family night, which happens to be a GRADED ASSIGNMENT...

It was a pretty good term for me...I've accomplished quite a few things. xD Hahaha.

- I topped my class in literature. <3
- I passed my Chinese common test. (But failed by 0.3 marks overall. I mean, that really deserves an Oh Poo.)
- I managed to trade over GTS for a Feebas!! Whoop!
- Got an A for Geography, even though I had no idea how to do the test.
- GOT MY ESPEON TO LVL 100. YAY. <3
- Passed History overall. (I got a B. OMG.)
- Did Freestyle Hard on Para Para and cleared with a B.
- Cleared 7-footers on DDR. (I swear they were 6s when I first saw them...)
- GOT MY TRICKSTER DRAGON TO A WIZARD. ARGH. <3
- I FOUND SAIUNKOKU MONOGATARI MANGA OMG OMG HOT MANZ.
- Actually READ BOOKS.

Some things I'm hoping to achieve now:

- Get my Leafeon to learn Leaf Blade.
- Do some pixely things.
- Get the rest of my party to Lvl 100...
- Grow lots of berries and get a Milotic.
- Get a decent grade for my Science modulars.
- Do a proper hard song (at least 6 stars) on Para Para.
- Complete a Heavy chart on DDR that is NOT Butterfly.
- Pass auditions for my school's singing contest. (:

This is Dormir at their best. Well, has a heads up, no, you don't.
So, what happened is that my teacher was scolding us because we were behind in work.
Calling us slow.
Excuse me, it's not our fault if we have a fire drill and tests eat up our lesson periods.
I mean, if she doesn't delay our lessons because we don't hand in our work or something along those lines, how can she blame us for being slow?

Live performances play quite a big factor in my fandom as Music Station is where I hear of artists. So, like, once I heard this boyband singing a Christmas song and they went FLAT. Terrible! Terrible!! Cool dances are also fun to see, but I don't pay attention to it much.

3. Personality
Now I'm going to cheat here and say that their personality can be reflected in their PVs. xD Like, how much they delve into their music? I don't know. I love PVs! Like, like, I enjoy artists that can go out of their way to make a funny PV.

2. Voice
VOICE. YES. VOICE. This is really a big factor me. I can be a disgusting critic when it comes to voice.
Like, everybody knows YUI yes? Well, let me just tell you her songs are AMAZING. They're so beautifully written and composed...
But when I hear her voice, I cringe. D: It's way too airy for my taste, and when she hits the higher register...Well, I'm scared she'll break a vein. She sounds like she's straining herself. Same thing goes for Kanon Wakeshima (although Suna no Oshiro made me YAWN.)
I also love a group that can harmonize. <3
Artists I consider with a really good voice are: Ken Hirai, K, Both members of Kobukuro, Gackt, Mika Nakashima, Ayaka, Alan

1. Music Style
Despite all that, it's really the music style that does it for me (with the exception of YUI *ahem*) I think there are quite a number of examples for this. These are artists that I believe have not-too-good voices but I still love:
- WaT
- Yuzu
- WATER STAND
- Parquets
- Arashi
- Perfume

And there are a number of artists with beautiful voices but their style of music just wasn't my thing:
- Gackt
- Utada Hikaru
- Rie Fu (The English-Japanese thing just isn't doing it for me...xD)

Then there's KAT-TUN, who just sucks. Haha.

Point is, while I do put priority on artists with good voices, I still like those with sub-par ones. xD If the song is catchy, or an emotional ballad, or fluffy, even soul or jazz (go listen to Shachihata by Otsuka Ai! Genius!), I'm most likely going to enjoy it tremendously.

And, if you're going to get angry at me for disliking YUI, please tell me why you do, instead of just bashing me groundlessly like Munmun did.

Favourite Villain: Kefka is obviously the most evil, so I'd say he's got the best design. Kuja is just epic in all the wrong ways though. XD

As I have noticed, every year I have been buying an RPG to pass the time. In 2007, it was Pokemon Pearl. In 2008, it was Final Fantasy III. (I still haven't completed that...)
So, what do you think I should get this year?
Please recommend a game to me! Right now my two main choices are:
- Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2 (Ugh, I know. But it does look pretty cool)
- Pokemon Dungeon Explorers of Time/Darkness

Before you recommend something, I'd like you to know something strange about RPGs that come to my preference.

It can have the crappiest story on the planet, but as long as I can feel like I am part of the game, I'd love it. I love job systems too, and the concept of advancing. ;3

- ICHIGO IS TEH BIGGEST GARY-STU EVAR. No joke. He's right up there with Daisy and Bella.
- Rukia was so cool in her Gigai, now she's phail. Bah.
- Kon is still awesome.
- Chad is one of the main characters I can tolerate. ;_; Maybe it's because he's actually capable of losing? ;3
- Orihime is cute and makes good comic relief. But she probably gets a lot of back pain.
- I don't give two farts about Ishida or the Quincy. The have personalities of wallpaper.
- Ganjyuu makes Ichigo tolerable.
- Yoruichi is funny, sassy and proportionate. She's most likely my favorite girl.
- Urahara is just plain awesome.
- Bonnie is a badass.
- Yamamoto is badass. Badass old geezers are always welcome.
- Soifon is obviously a lesbian.
- Gin is cool and suffers from Joker face syndrome. And his Zanpakuto is funny.
- Izuru's sword phails.
- Hanatarou is .
- Aizen's hands secrete hairgel. I miss him as a dork.
- Momo scares me. It's like "SEXUAL TENSION" is written on her face.
- Byakuya is a sexy badass. And I love his Sword forms.
- Renji needs to ditch the ponytail. It makes him non hot.
- Byaren is sexy.
- Komamura has a cool Bankai.
- His vice-captain is the epitome of MAN.
- Kyoraku is win.

As always, oldies are goodies for me. Zhou Yu and Mitsuhide reign supreme as my favorite dudes in DW and SW and Xiao Qiao is my favorite girl and character. I do like Himiko, though. My favorite newcomers are Taigong Wang and Motochika. Yes, I equipped almighty onto them. 8D

Overall, I'm having a lot of fun with this game. :3 The graphics aren't as stellar as the next gen games, but the characters still look absolutely amazing. Yay.

I've downed 3 chapters and am almost through with Chapter 4. Now, let me just say that I AM EXTREMELY BORED AND ANNOYED. I don't see any solid plot, Bella is an annoying, sex hungry creep and Edward...Is Gary-Stu to the max. The writing is still a mixed bag. Some of her descriptions are quite well executed, but the ones of Edward are so ridiculous it's funny. "Perfect white teeth"?
Seriously?
SERIOUSLY?
Where's the romance. I want my romance. They said this was a romance novel.
WHERE'S THE LOVE!?
Or, you know what, you can give sex. If this can't be a romance, let it at least be a halfway decent trashy novel. Please.

Okay, time for really long recap.

Day 1:
Super long airplane ride. D; I watched movie snippets. Then super long train ride. Then the hotel. I fell asleep. Then I ate lunch. Then I slept again. Then I ate dinner. Then...Yeah, I slept.

Day 2:
Animate time!! Woah, 9 floors of anime goods. No, wait, WHOOPEE! 9 floors of anime goods! Oh dang, a majority of the floors contain manga. In Japanese. Dammit. HEY DOUJIN...Crap, I have to aged 18 or above to buy it. Character goods next!! Clip dude plushie...Clip dude plushie...WHERE'S THE CLIP DUDE PLUSHIE!! They only had Hitsugaya. D: Who, I feel, is terribly overrated. Then...WOAH, YUNOKI AZUMA PLUSH. I got that instead. Gonna buy the clip dude one here at home...D:
My dad went on a Keroro buying frenzy!! D:

Day 3:
DisneySEA!! You know what's really dumb, I kept on wondering why they called it DisneySEA if Japan wasn't in South East Asia. Then I figured out they meant the water body. LOL.
My dad saw this cool Jack (From Nightmare before Christmas) hat and wanted to buy it, but we couldn't find it. So we decided to try at Disneyland the next day.
Not much I wanted to do at DisneySea...

Day 4:
Disneyland time!!
Pooh Bear came out running at the entrance!! WHOO! Pooh Bear rocks.
First, we sat on the Pirates of The Caribbean ride and they had this really realistic crab. The Jack Sparrow was cool too. And when we went out, there was this super cool brass band and they did this Jazzy version of the POTC theme song.
I wanted to sit on the Pooh Bear ride, but the queue was too long! D:
So like, we sat on the It's A Small World Ride and when I came out I was coughing out sugar and bleeding rainbows.
Nah, not really. It was a cute ride, actually.
And then we had sausages skewered on bones. OMG.
Then we saw this 3D thing then tore through gift shops for the Jack hat but it wasn't in any of them!!
That hat will always be a mystery.
And I got a snowman Pooh Bear! : D

Day 5: POKEMON CENTER DAY! WHOOP! But when we got to the place, WE COULDN'T FIND IT. D: We asked this AM PM guy and he kinda said it had been obliterated.
DD:
Then we went into Takashimaya and there was this cool old looking man at the information counter who spoke fluent English! Wahoo!
That Takashimaya man was awesome. AWESOME.
So we find out the Pokemon Center wasn't actually gone, it had just moved. So we go to the Pokemon center and my dad becomes enamored with Dialga. My dad rocks. The only bad thing about the place was that aside from Pikachu, there was no Pokemon below the fourth generation. Well, they had the Eevee evolutions. I wanted the whole set! But they were so expensive, so I only got a Leafeon. But it's adorable!!
My brother, he got a Giratina called Gregory George...
Tan.
AKA Greg.
It's scarily endearing.
Then we went to Tokyo Tower. Don't ask me how the view was; I didn't look. But I walked down it. Over 500 steps.
Whee.
Then we went to Akihabara and saw NOTHING. D: I tried playing Pop'n Party, but I suck now. T__T I'm gonna have to practise at Plaza Sing..
Day 7:
Souvenir shopping at Asakusa shrine. There was this guy with really sexy hair. He was pretty cute himself, but his hair was hot. xD I got a Koike Teppei keychain. :]

Misc Crap:
Japan had lots of cute guys. xD
I'm gonna take pictures later, when I get my Byakuya plush.

I wanted to do some Pokemon breeding, but in the end I got angry trying to get Wish on an Eevee so I decided to do it when I get home. Instead...I played...

I tell you, that's the only fighting game on the DS with decent characters. MK would have my sister squealing.

So I found my pouch of GBA games. And I decided to replay my Pokemon Red Rescue Team. (Cos in my previous game I needed to get the TM Dive and it's hard. So I quit. ><
Anyway, last time, I was a Skitty and now I'm a Chramander. Yay. My partner was a Pikachu back down but I chose a Chikorita this time round to cover the Water weakness and Chikorita is my favorite starter. Ever.

And absolutely no plushies at all!! A bit of a disappointment.
Uhm...No Figurines that I wanted either, so I kinda left empty handed.

I wanted to see the man who sang the Mazinger Z opening!! D: But VIP tickets cost $78. X__X
Then I played my butt off on Para Para and I can do Freestyle Normal now!! xD My first try too lolz. I can do a bit of Hard, but it usually kills me. D:
Then I went To Vivo City and bought the figurines I wanted.

B3 for Social Studies. B for PE. Failed my Physical Fitness Test...><;;; I HATE THAT 2.4km RUN. MORE THAN PULL-UPS. At least I tries, unlike some people...*coughu-janecough*
Aside from studies, now for social matters...
- I got to learn about Natalie, Christabel, Marcella, Li-anne and Daniele better.
- I'm not going to perform for the SYF next year...It's just too much pressure for me.
- I learnt that U-Jane is one of the most remorseless people to work with...><;;; I'm still really really angry with her. She was over $100 in debt for 3 months...And in the end, our teacher had to pay off most of it. It really angers me, ya know? That she showed no urgency about it. I would if I were that deep in debt, or actually in debt for that matter.
So here's to the school year. I'm going to learn my new class during the holidays, and I can't wait to see what's in store for me.
As for Pokemon report...My Pokemon are finally all in their 70s. I may be training a Miltank, Azumarill and Clefable for fun. X__X
And anyone got any ideas for a pretty boy Vaporeon name?

Here's a breakdown of what I thought:
English Paper 1:
I chose the easy question out of the 5. And I wrote 900 words out of the recommended 400. I think I'm screwed. I'll upload the story when I get it back.
English Paper 2:
The vocabulary was kinda hard and the summary sucked. Meh.
Math Paper 1: Easy.
Math Paper 2: Shit hard.
Chemistry: Kinda hard lol.
Life Science: Tons easier than chemistry.
Literature: Fun fun fun.
Geography: SHORT! I couldn't finish it...
History: Hard.
Chinese Paper 1: Fine.
Chinese Paper 2: Easier than what my teacher would normally give.
I'm gonna fail all of them. :\

Now for Pop'n revenge! No, it has nothing to do with Beat'n Groovy, sadly...My eyes are bleeding looking at it. X__X
It has to do with me finally passing Chibikko Idol hyper!!
You do NOT know how many times I had to do it over and over and over...And I finally managed to nail the last bit.
Then I went to pass Cat Jazz Hyper!

My brother. He played Pokemon before me and I wanted to follow in his footsteps.

Pikachu.

Yellow. But I only started to obsessively play Gold.

I traded my Buneary to Christabel once. And I helped U-Jane evolve her Machoke and Haunter. And I'm going to get a trade from Daniele as I want Grass Knot.

Yes.
No. Because I feel that all the things the characters' Pokemon are capable of are LIES. ALL LIES.

I only started collecting them when I was 10. I bought a Phanpy card for 30 cents because I liked the picture on it.

That time of year again, where we get our grades and comments for the term.
And lo and behold, I've improved!!

English Language: 79.3 A1
"She has made significant strides in integrating the literal and figurative meanings of a text. When she speaks, the entire crowd is mesmerised by her wit annd intelligence. She will go far in life and be someone prominent."
My English teacher is waay too nice. XDD It's always wonderful to get these kinds of compliments though!

Life Science: 72 A2
"She is attentive in class and shows interest in her work."
Very cool. XD

Chemistry: 87.5 A1
"She is a hardworking and attentive student who is fast to grasp the concepts taught. She has shown improvement in the work she hands in and should continue to persevere so as to do even better."
Surprisingly, this was my highest grade. My handwriting is still as messy as heck though.

Mathematics: 70.4 A2

...Oh poo.

Geography: 64 B4

Don't you just love the word valid there...I'm glad I passed my History too, as I suck at structured questions big time. Luckily, they had a Source-Based question test for the final one.
