So, welcome to third grade. I'm thankful for the ability to draw/write, thankful that I have the one I love, thankful for a creative mind, thankful that I have a loving family, and thankful for, a'course, all my friends, both from dA and real life. <3
I just need to get into the spirit, since my morning didn't start out very nicely. -_-

But anyway, into the works.
You all saw my latest deviation, the one with the anthro characters on it. I think I might make them a story or something, maybe a comic? I don't know. I had the idea for Alpha and Omega before anything else, and I was going to have them be assasins, sort of. Wanting to elimintate the bad in the world. Then I was going to have maybe Alpha get captured/jailed or something.

Don't ask...my brain's going at a million miles and hour. xD

Lately, I've been pondering my characters' names, and I've changed Jason's last name from Randall to Hlodovic, because "Randall" didn't sound very German. I've checked the entire Desdemona family, and yes, their names are all considered "British," except for Kaymen's. Because...he's unique like that.

SO!
Halloween was pretty bomb for me. I went as Sweeney Todd, went as Mrs. Lovett, and my other friend was Lucy.
A few of my other friends did a haunted house--which was pretty good actually. One of my good friends actually jumped out at me and pulled me into a corner and asked me out. XD;; Of course, I said yes. We both had feelings for each other for a long time, but we were both absolutely gutless.

So aside from all that jazz, I have a ton of ideas for pictures/RLD chpater events, etc.. but I'm being a lazy ass and not drawing/writing them. DX I'd better do something or else I'll esplode.

The weather of Colorado is like a drunk person trying to walk in a straight line. You never know what the hell is going to happen. It snowed buckets yesterday, and it's 65 degrees outside this morning. Someday I'll go crazy(er).
So hai guys.
My right brain is still working fantastically, so I should have some new kick-ass pics for you guys pretty soon here. I've got some wicked ideas. (Prolly because I've been listening to MM like, nonstop these past few days. That music always gives me ideas.)
But whatever. I don't get inspired by sitting at my desk in the dark.
I'm a little mad at myself for not putting some new stuff up, but I will make up for it, I swear.

Not many new RLD updates, so I'm not even going to make a seperate section for it this time. It's all good, school's slowing it a bit is all.

So I survived swine flu. It lasted about five days, and I missed a shitload of sschool, but it's okey; I'm all caught up, and better yet, able to draw again!
So you can see I never did the Big Ben painting, which I feel bad about -_- Buuuut, I may do it in the future. But for nao, I'm opening up requests and art trades because I'm lazy and can't think of any ideas for pictures at the moment. >_>;
Here comes my orchestra rambling...
And of course, you remember that last poll, the one about which orchestral section (Cellos/Bases, Violins, Violas...) sounded the best. it turned out people like the sound of the cello better, and my conductor agrees, so the cello sectiong ets a solo! ^^ Here's the song we're playing: [link] We're keeping the tempo the same, which is fun because I likes the fast songs. ...but not the piggy flu, I hope. I got a flu shot, so my doctor said it's a mild case. The symptoms for hiney flu are basically what I have, everything but the sore throat. Fever of 101.5 (dayam. ), cough, a little of a stuffy nose, etc. So I'm really curious about it.
Oh, and if you didn't get the hiney flu thing, the word H1N1 looks like "hini." Don't ask; my uncle is retarded.
But oh mah gee...I'm going to have so much effing homework when I get back. Oh well, I was told not to think about school. That shouldn't be a problem.

So in other news, I'll be getting my tablet in about a week, yay. I'm pretty excited, it's a Bamboo Fun, and by the sound of it, it's definately fun. And also, as I've mentioned in the last journal, my dear friend Blake might be able to get me Photoshop CS3 for free somehow. I'm wondering how that'll turn out, because his dad works for Apple and can get Blake almost anything. We'll see.

All I know so far is that Kay's gonna get back from Hanwell when Aiden and Abbey are the only two people are home. I'll have to plug in some more hints there. And, my editor isn't grossed out yet. I guess my art projects are stacking up now, which I like. I've started the watercolor painting of Big Ben, based on the last poll, and I'm excited about it. It's looking gewd.

And schoolwise, my teachers are chilling out with the homework, which make sme happeh because I get to draw/write more.

Here in CO, there's a cold front a'comin, and it's been really freaking cold here. Like, it snowed the last day of summer. xD The forecast is 60's and low 70s all week. lol
So, back to buisiness.
So this week so far I've posted my Reflections 2009 project (which isn't due till the 23rd, weehee.), made a pic in response to this week's poll, and worked like friggin mad on my Kaymen painting (the most recent sketch).
So far, on that, I have the lineart onto the fancy paper, and I've been planning it all out (testing colours, etc..).
Oh, and do give ~wolf-fang30 some luvins. Also *BlackAdderBlacky. They do awesome stuff and they don't get very much credit for it, so please do take a gander.

Reflections 2009 is here finally, and unfortunately, I'm STILL in High School, so I'm gonna do it.
For those of you who don't know what "Reflections" are, it's a program that K-12 grades do, and each year there's a theme. For instance, last year's theme was "Wow." This year's is "Beauty is..." and I have some tricks up my sleeve. But I'm not gonna tell you yet, because 1) it's a surprise. :3, and 2) it's 3/4 of the way done already. >D SO far it's lookin' good, and you'll be able to see it in a few days here.
I think that's all the exciting things right nao. Whoo, my life is a party!

So!
As you can tell I woke up from my week-long "art slump." I don't know why that happened, it just did. My thinking is that it was prolly due to school starting again, so I have to run the left side of my brain once again. The begining of the year at my school tends to be the hardest, believe it or not. But don't get me wrong; I gave the right side of my brain some 'shrooms and it's back to buisiness (j/k, or course. I don't do drugs, neither does my brain, I hope it isn't sneaking while I sleep...).
And some other crap...
I saw "9" the other day. I must say, one of Tim's best movies. I loved that it was actually a more mature film; it made me feel more at home. XD (of course it did, Mimzy.) Although, the ending was crap. Sorry, but it really was. I feel like the move itself, despite its awesomeness, went too fast. It was about and hour and a half long, and so many thigns happened it was almost hard to keep up with the plot. (I just freaking counteracted myself. I'm sorry, world.)
Yeah. That's my lifeeee.

Eh, I'm getting back on track mostly. Still struggling a bit with the five days of Hanwell. It's difficult, mainly because I've never gotten high and taken to a lunatic asylum, so I don't know what it's like to be there, I'm watching movies and researching still, all that jazz, but it's still hard. (I hate calling doctors "doctors!" God knows why! XD)
But aside from that, everything's all good. I made an outline a few weeks ago, and it has helped me tremendously. My editor is bored, I imagine though. XDD

Yeah, I really am. it's just school has hammered me with homework (of course the first few weeks of school, ), but they're done for now so I should get some time to draw.

The weather where I am has been really quite glomy lately, which on my part is a really good thing. It's rained a lot, and it's been foggy every morning. Especially this morning, because of the wildfire in CA. All of the smoke blew over to Colorado, so we got a pretty orange sunrise this morning and a hazy day. However, it sucks for pople with asthma. DX

So I guess I'm not promising anything untill this weekend. Sorry guys, I haven't stopped drawing. t_t

As you've probably noticed, I've been also slacking off RLD, and I'm sorry again. It's not that I'm losing interest or anything, it's because I'm lazy and I need to sit upright and write some more for once.
So what I've been actually writing lately is adding on to the current chapter. Kaymen goes and gets tested for a drug addiction. You'll see what happens with that. I've also been doing some jumping around. I started this a while ago, it's a scene that's further into the story (the climax, basically). I think about three or four of you know what happens already. But sshhh, It's a surprise.

(also, some details are not included due to spoilers)

Shirogane:
A quite old character, but she still looms around my gallery every now and then. At first I created her out of heartbreak from a previous BF. She was my “revenge” character, and I made comics and soon she grew to be one of my main canine characters.
Leader of Yoshigama and an army of over 500 dogs, Shirogane spent the majority of her life as any dog would; hunting, caring for her pack, and overall being a good and kind leader. Once Alukane came into the picture, it was love at first sight for Shiro. Things go smoothly with Alukane as her new deputy, until Alukane leaves Shirogane’s pack, leaving her without love, and without one of the best fighters in the pack. After that, she suffered through heartbreak but got through it with revenge. She also got her name from the Japanese word meaning "silver."


Settalin:
Another older character. Also in Shirogane’s pack, and the original deputy. Things seemed to fall apart for Shirogane and Settalin when Alukane joined Yoshigama, but when Alukane leaves Shirogane, Settalin gladly stepped in to be the shoulder to cry on. His history is much like Shiro's, only his parents were shot down by hunters as a pup and was taken care of by grandparents, who later died of old age.


Cancer:
A more recent character.
A Simian Jackal obsessed with blood, war, killing, and all that good stuff. With no real history, I created Cancer out of need of a new character. Let's just say, he's my "badass character." >D

Kaymen Lestor Desdemona: (RLD main character)
A 32 year old WWII British ace pilot and a hero to many, Kaymen leaves the tranquility of Herefordshire, UK to London to start a new life. While on the train to London, he meets Aiden Hartley, a chipper American. The two become close, so Aiden introduces Kaymen to Laurent and his wife Carissa, and their adopted daughter Abagale. everyone takes a liking to Kaymen, and they allow him to stay with them until he finds a house of his own.
Aiden and Kaymen eventually hold an unbreakable bond, that seems friendly at first.
However, there has been a strange homosexual tension between the two. Kaymen had been undecided about his sexuality, but his captivating and dark appearance gets to Aiden, and begins to change his heterosexual lifestyle.

Christian Desdemona:
Twin brother of Kaymen, Christian took a chance and became the only Jewish person in the Desdemona family, a Catholic family. He was a strong Jew, and accepted the risks of being one.
Once the Nazi invasion began in England, Christian caught the word and fled the country to Switzerland, where he would stay for the remainder of the war. Red Letter Day

So a few things here. I luckally (sp?) found a Spitfire know-it-all on YouTube, and I'm happy I did. He's given great info. God bless, Corey! XD
Also, Candace (editor) likes drugged Kaymen. Hah. XD She's my "reader," so she gave me the exact reaction I was looking for when she read the newest chapter, and that was; "Holy crap, that is creepy." XDD
And, (surprise surprise) I'm again suffering from writer's block with the next chapter. I'm thinking I should have the group take Kaymen to a doctor and get him tested, but I'm not sure. Maybe I should add that in the newest existing chapter..? Bah. I on't know. j^j All I know is that Candace told me that the new chpater needs to expand a little, and I totally agree. Most of the story as of now needs expanding. Otherwise the published book will be like, as thick as my ring finger nail. DX (That is, if Harper Collins accepts the finished and completely edited story. Pray with me!)
Anywhoo, the newest chapter, I am predicting, won't be up for a week or so.

I'll be upat my lakehouse with a few friends for the next four days or so. But, I will do some work (if they leave me alone! lol) on RLD or even draw if I get the chance. Also, one of my friends is bringing her Dell Notebook so I can check my DevART like mayne once or twice, but I won't be replying to messeges, commenting, etc...

Red Letter Day Updates

Okay, so I've been sort of slacking on RLD, so I've decided it's time to step it up a bit. I'm suffering from writer's block with deciding what shall happen to fill in holes in these next few chapters. I've got the main ideas down, I need to, again, fill in the holes.
I've also put up another notice in the RLD section of my gallery. In case you haven't seen it yet, here it is (I spaced telling you all earlier, lol):

"Red letter Day is a novel in progress, and I won't lie to you, kind of sucks right now. My goal and idea of how I will finish it is that I will plain write it, and when it is finished, go back and edit it so it flows and sounds more beautiful and takes the reader away. Until then, the story sort of lacks from and is weak at times. Just know; I am not trying to be a bad writer. XD"

This simply means that most of this is "quick-writing," so I call it. It menas I'm not putting all of my effort into writing it now, for the sake of getting the story done. Once it is done, the major editing will take place. I will be re-writing almost every chapter word-for-word, so I can blow the reader away, which is the main focus, if you get my drift.

Also, a little warning; the newest chapter is up, and it is the begining to the darker side of the story. This is the time of the story (climax drags out for a few chpaters rather than one) where the most language, violence, disturbing situations/diologue and sexual content is.

So these last few days have been the laziest days of my life, and I still don't have the lastest RLD chapter up. D: It's because I'm an effing slacker. XD
But at least it isn't all bad, because my editor is behind also (O and she's been 'working on the road.' She's got my story to edit, and some fourteen year old's as well, so she's really busy and it's actually understandable why she's a bit behind. Where as me...I'm just lazy.
Buuuuut, the latest chapter is about two pages away from being completed.
My life will start becomign busy again, I have registration today and a whole bunch of other stuff this week, so I won't be drawing quite as much.

The flights sucked also. Each landing was done by a co-pilot, so of course they were bumpy and curvy. XD But it was a good trip. Probably our last to that particular house.
I also colored by hair to dark red.

So, here's some nooz for ya.
I've been drawing a lot lately, and when I'm not drawing I'm coming up with ideas for pictures. lol I'm such an art nerd. XD

Anywhoo, I'll be in Michigan on the 18th (Jul.), and I'll be gone for two or three weeks. Sadly, my G-ma doesn't have a computer up there. D: But, the week my dad comes up with me and my mom, I'll be able to use his Balckberry to check my DevART, LiveJournal, etc...but only on occasion. (WAAA.)

I've been taking a little break from Red Letter Day, as my editor told me to. XD I'm still planning out the next few chapters, and I'll be editing the current ones a little more when my break is done.

Yesh. I is back, and though Crested Butte was pretty and, may I add, chilly, it's good to be back home. The last time I checked my DevART was with my dad's Blackberry in a crazy pizza resteraunt with low light and elephants on the wall. I swear they watched me while I ate. O.o

A LITTLE NOTICE...
I'm going to re-submit the Red Letter Day chapters, because I've re-written some of them, and Christian is no longer Kaymen "lost twin brother." Here's Christian's new deal:
So, during the war (WWII), Christian flees the country after hearing of the Nazi invasions (he's a Jew) to avoid getting sent to Aushwitz. Mortified and worried that Kaymen would leave him and Damien, Jonathan contacts Kaymen to tell him that the Nazis took Christian to Aushwitz and there was nothing he could do. Later after the war was over and London had been repaired, Christian returns and is forbidden by Jonathan to come back to St. Albans. He remains in London, where Kaymen meets him later.

They're going to eliminate all of our rights of ours concerning our art and creations.
Right now, it's a law that everything you create is automatically protected by copywrights. If they pass this bill, this means that everyone's work is basically going undetground-it'll be free to use and anyone can do whatever they want with it.

How does that make you feel about your work?! If they pass that bill, we will basically lose all of our hard work and our art careers will go down the toilet.

Sorry, I'm feeling extrodinarly random and crazy at the moment, if you haven't noticed already

Today was sooo fudging weird. So this girl told me that Blake asked her out and that he said he hated me. "Screw you" were the first words that came to mind at the moment. You'll see why. So then at Orchestra Blake comes up to me and says "I don't hate you at all. Who told you that?" Then my mind went bazurk. I answered him, and I knew she lied to me, because Blake would never ask out someone like her, so then my other friend comes up to me and says "She asked him out, it was the other way around." (oh geez, love problems ) I was sooo freaking reliefed. Yeah. It's confusing.

Then I got my cookie at lunch. Then I was happy.

Yush, I'm still wildly obsessed over Tim Burton movies And Ginga...xDDDD I'm also curently obsessing over my fanfic's sequal, cuz most of my friends read it, and they all said I should freaking publish it. I was like "hell no, Johnny Depp would kill me!" (because it's true...I'm a wicked fan...who knows what will come to my brain this time XD). So then I decided I might post them here on dA when they're finnished! Yay me!

Well, life is super good for me because Blake likes me and I like him but he can't go out with me because his mom is weird like that XD but I'm really happy anyway! We had to watch this really awesome Trans Siberian Orchestra video in orchestra (I play cello! OMG!) and it was pretty wicked awesome. Lots of GeeTar (guitar, lolz)

In other news, I'm sad for my buddy because her boyfriend dumped her (read about it in her journal) and she's really depressed and it's really sad. If she waz here right now I'd her
