so much enjoyable, in so little time.

The usual group went, and with some additions, as it was Alice's birthday on sunday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY AGAIN YOU LG <3

YES!
We hit Spirit, the halloween store that opened up in Stn. Square. And let me just say? EPIC COSPLAY STORE. Petticoats, ears, eyelashes, outfits...it was like heaven.
And then Hilda + Flo had to leave us, for movies were not their cup of tea.

BUT I SPENT THE EARLIER PART OF THE DAY BROWSING CRYSTAL STORES WITH THEM AND MARCO and it was divine. Window shopping mmm.


As we went to Zombieland, we had Johnny + Marco marking the ends of the seats we reserved [LOL] for our group of 11 people. AND THEN WINNIE TOLD ME, THAT + were also at the movies. So I stayed at the entrance to say hi.

akjsdlasd it was so nice to see you guys after...so long of a time. 8C Since like...what....AE 08? BUT YES. They were both so nice and friendly even after that long time, and Kurot gave some good advice for AA tables, which my friend and I are planning to buy this year. =A= hope we at least break even.

AND THEN, SOMEHOW CELESTE RECOGNIZED MY OBNOXIOUS VOICE from about 2 rows up, and yelled hi. ROFL. AGAIN ANOTHER RANDOM MEET, but still so happy. <333

AND THE MOVIE: what can I say? Zombie movies make me happy. Really happy. BUT I HATE THINGS JUMPING OUT AT ME.
I grabbed Winnie's arm a lot, and covered my eyes, and screamed at Johnny.... 8C

But the events were so well done, and the characters very lovable. I LOOOOOVED TALLAHASSEE. Badass scruffy cowboy with soft spot plz.

All in all, excellent way to spend a Sunday.
And windows shopping must be done again. This time in greater detail.

I've been carrying so much sadness and heaviness ever since the accident. My friends really helped so much. I cannot explain or even describe just how it felt to be all alone. In the hospital.

But to have people drop by the house after I was released, to have people buy little gifts [even though I didn't want anything other than to turn back time...]

Do you know how it feels to think you might never recover?
To look in the mirror and cry every time?
To avoid any reflective surfaces and flinch everytime you saw yoruself?

It was such a dark time. And I didn't need anything to darken myself further.
Yet to have someone express concern and then without any further contact as a trigger, to post rude and bitter comments about me and my friends...

I'm tired of you.
I am going to move forward with my life. This summer has been nothing but good times.

I honestly hope you can move on too.
But what I want more than anything else, is to stop bringing up the past and bring to the surface old issues and old news.

No one's interested in the DRAMU anymore, okay? I suggest you work on looking forward to the future as well.

Don't expect this tired old soul to have a reaction to your presence anymore.


And to everyone else who has been involved, directly or through other methods, let's please just put this behind us. Like that person, we should also look forward.

There's always something new to see.

And thanks to my friends for helping me. I know I can face anything with you guys watching my back.

We all met up at Waterfront stn. today to go to Dressew for our Halloween cosplay.

M = Kaito
Hilda = Len

'course we hit a cafe first because M doesn't like to eat breakfast BEFORE meet ups.

So we went to the cafe that Hilda had been telling us about. Unfortunately I could not satisfy my sweet tooth. No cheesecake or creme brulee ;A; uuuuuu. But we'll find other cafe's....;_;
and then we headed over to Book-Off, a store that sells imported Japanese books.
I KNOW. I KNOW.
We hit the manga section + artbooks. They were having a sale, and before I knew it, I had bought a Yami no Matsuei art/sketch book. TT^TT wah YnM...

Seeing the time, we finally left for Dressew and immediately ran into...problems. Turns out the reference pictures do indeed have pink [ROFL HILDA] so we had to add that to our list.

But all in all we found almost everything we wanted, with some minor adjustments for our Kaito. Who was not pleased. orz orz BUT WE APPEASED THE M-GOD IN THE END!

Somehow, we ran into Menchi at Dressew and chatted while spotting a few more AE attendees. Hilda also had some run-in's with friends at odd locations.

AT LONG LAST, we decided on our purchases and bought everything before Hilda led us to a random hooker store owned by an asian couple.
AND I MUST SAY:

the boots/heels/pieces of clothing were SUPER affordable. I was so excited to see the prices for heeled boots and pumps. FFFFFFFFFF next paycheck, heading there.

AND M TRIED ON KNEE HIGH BOOTS FOR US HAHASkjhasdhuerhasd. So so princely and Kaito-ish. But unfortunately, was rejected. ;_;
So we headed to Value Village [after some backtracking rofl]
and found a coat to modify [for Kaito]. It was fabulous and perfect. But needs the details of course. ....OTL

After concluding our shopping trip, we made one last stop. 's school campus.

Ben + Winnie [] had also been planning on dropping by too, so we saw them as well. IT WAS GOOD <3

SADLY AT THIS TIME, I had to head home for dinner.


and then I collapsed on the bed and just woke up now rofl.

My mom said it'd be better to stay inside the whole summer.
And the doctors have said up to a year will be needed for my skin to recover completely.

This year was a little disappointing as far as venue went. The location was BEAUTIFUL, don't get me wrong. But I was sorely disappointed by AE staff and how they handled their situation with SFU. My friend's mother works with SFU, so you can't try to hide the details from me and my group.

But we'll see if they can redeem themselves next year.

HOWEVER, I met some AMAZING people this year. And more photos got taken LOL. WHUT? People recognizing Shinpachi all by himself? I was actually amazed. xD;;;
