Basically, I wrote this journal, and I accidentally closed the tab and lost it all, even firefox couldn't find it. So here is my second attempt!

I last blogged about the return of the Branstashe, I can now announce that the Branstashe has indeed gone AWOL again, you may be pleased or disappointed to hear. However, even if you are overcome by sadness at this news of freshly shaven Flowers face, the good bit is that he now has side hair. Which is mighty fine.

Talking of The Killers, Happy Birthday Guadalupe is marvellous. It will no doubt put a smile on your face. [link]
For a great cause too.

Also, talking of The Killers. Go out and get Live at The Royal Albert Hall! You will have the pleasure of seeing my gorgeous mug in various crowd moments, which is great watching - for me and my family anyway. Plus it's really good. You shoulda seen us when we first watched it and saw on faces on the big screen - we went mental!

I went and saw White Lies in late November, who where very good. Their front man - Harry is dead cool I didn't get many great photos because I've broken my lovely little pink Canon Ixus 80. I had to take my friends camera. I'll see what I can do with what I've got though Don't ask me how I broke my camera, all I know is that it involved a cardboard cut out of Obama and custard pie foam. Not a good combination, even on a good day. I must've got too excited and dropped my camera while the lens was still open. I've still got the 400d though, which I use often. I've practically adopted it from my Dad anyways.

IT SNOWED!!! It actually snowed! 18/12/09 YEAAH! about 8cm, I don't think I've known it to snow in December before. It's beautiful. Me and my friends went extreme sledging, I've got a war wound on my nose from it >.< We hit a compacted bit and went straight into a thorn bush, my friend then landed on me. Was hilarious. I also become quite fearless in the snow and I stood on the sledge and told my friend to pull it, and she did and I went absolutely flying and landed on my head. Was also hilarious. What's also great about the snow too is that I missed school, woo! I've been off from school about 2 weeks already due to study leave, I only had to go in for exams (was wonderful) and we had to go in that Friday for assembly's which are also known as torture around here - but thankfully the snow delivered. Got something to look forward too when I go back after the holidays then...yay...

Lastly (I think) LOOK WHOS PREMIUMMMM! YEAH!! I love ~Like-Piano-Keys she's made of awesome. Apart from the fact after getting the premium, she decided to take it upon herself to change my dev info to the weird and wonderful, I've kept my favourites. I thought I'd also take this moment to tell you about my weekend. Last weekend I went V Festival! *yay* It was such a good weekend, really takes it out of you though. In total I saw (some artists I saw just tiny bits, a song or two, from far away though) : Red Light Company (), The Noisettes, The Script, V.V Brown (who was SO GOOD! I have uploaded a photo being in the smallest tent is always a plus too), Lily Allen, end of Dizzee Rascal lol, The Wombats, The Ting Tings, Pendulum (never seen a scarier pit honestly), Razorlight, and finally my lovelies - The Killers! (5th time!!!) I had people taking drugs in front of me which is quite unnerving to be honest and I couldn't see a thing! managed to get an alright position towards the end though, which is always good! It was great to see the screens behind them for once too. They were great as always
and that's just the Saturday! The Sunday consisted of: The Blizzards, Bens Brother, Lightning Seeds, Ocean Colour Scene, James Morrison, Athlete, Ladyhawke, Katy Perry (she makes me laugh), Paolo Nutini (), Mystery Jets, Elbow and Snow Patrol (who were absolutely amazing!) I was planning on seeing MGMT as well as they headlined JJB Arena but Oasis pulled out, and Snow Patrol then got to headline main stage, so I saw them instead and my I'm so glad they did
Can you understand why I was tired after?
I should be posting some other photos perhaps later, I'm not sure!

How have you all been?
I have to give you all a big thanks for your lovely comments on my drawings of The Killers, I really enjoy drawing and I'm most glad you enjoy looking at them. Makes it even more worth while.
I'm going to have to scan them all in or something because quite frankly I don't think the quality of the photo I took of them to upload here is any good.
I'm doing a project on The Killers for my art and photography lessons, which is where the drawings come from. I hope to fill a book full of drawings and collages of photos I've made/taken of them
I got a drawing pad, various shades of pencils, some watercolour pencils, a smudger and some kneadable erasers, also some acrylic paints (I'll have to practice with them) for my birthday last month so I'm going to draw at my own pace over the summer and see what I come out with, hopefully in the process - improving. I'm used to only drawing when I've been told to for art as such, so it'll be cool, and minus page folds too. You don't know the pain they cause!
I think I might stick to portraits of people I admire/adore.
I was, also before my birthday, going to write about how I'll focus on my drawing and give my photography ventures a little break, but I also got a tripod for my camera, (I honestly love my parents ) so I figured I might as well do both? I've been messing about with the tripod and my Dad's DSLR. I love doing long exposure or opening the lens for ages and running about and see what it turns out like. I'm so sad
A great plus too is that I have a new hard drive for the computer, so photoshop no longer dies on me when I try to edit my photos. Which means I can sort through a bunch I have taken from a while ago and such with no troubles!

In other news, I saw The Killers last Sunday at the Royal Albert Hall for the filming of their DVD (avec ~Codecracker510 ) I always write a journal here after I see The Killers, it's almost like they prompt me to, also I know I fosho have something to write about. Anyway, I can tell you it was amazing. More than. The RAH is a remarkable building and The Killers just felt it too the brim. They were chatty and my o my were the entertaining! I never tire of seeing them because it's different everytime! I thank The Killers for being so fantastic
I should have some of the best photos up soon when I've gone through them all.
Also, while we were queuing the comedian Jimmy Carr got out of a cab and walked past. He turned out to be the on the spot support act and he was v. funny if somewhat rude. I already thought he was hilarious because of his laugh, he either does this little giggle or sounds like a duck quacking, and yes he laughed, but I love him even more now because of his random appearance and his fellow love for The Killers.

I was going to say something else but I forgot.

Monday
I saw THE KILLERS for the 3rd time at the O2 Arena in London. It was amazing, awesome, fascinating, terrific, tremendous, incredible, marvellous, prodigious, stunning, unbelievable, wonderful, beautiful, exciting, fantastic, out of this world and beyond epic. That's not even the half of it. (I have recently discovered how Thesauruses really do rock )
They were all on fire, they first came on and I honestly thought Brandon was going to jump into the crowd or something he was running about and dancing so much. If you are going to see them any time soon you really are in for a treat, with the form they are in at the moment!
The actual stage production of backdrops, screens, lights, bubbles, smokeyness, fire (!) and confetti was really cool.
The whole set list was amazing, I really couldn't of asked for a better one at this stage I don't think. They played Spaceman, then Losing Touch, Somebody Told Me, Smile Like You Mean It, This Is Your Life, Joyride, I Can't Stay, Bling (!!!!!), Shadowplay, For Reasons Unknown, Neon Tiger, Human, Sam's Town (Abbey Road Version), Read My Mind, Mr Brightside, All These Things That I've Done, A Dustland Fairytale, and in the encore, Bones, Jenny Was a Friend of Mine, and finally When You Were Young.
Marks bass line live on Jenny, I can't explain it, JUST WOW!
They are really mixing the set lists up this tour, they played the O2 again the next day and played quite a different set list.
They just blew my mind honestly, the band actually can't fail!
They aren't known for being a chatty bunch live, but for the amount of effort they put into each song it really doesn't matter. The songs are what I go to see them play.
I took a couple of really nice shots with my new camera, they need some slight tweaking, but once I've done that I'll upload a few . You weren't allowed to use flash which results in incredible blurring mostly, but I was surprised at how well some of the photos came out.
As they came back on stage for the encore Ronnie said into the mic "We took the palm trees down because they didn't match my outfit"

Tuesday
Absolutely shattered from The Killers the previous night but maintaining very high spirits even though I had an art exam. It was like one of those practice ones you get, I'd worked pretty hard on my prep studies, the theme of the exam was "the work of other artists". I might try and get my book back and scan some works in. I included my recent photography on here of nature. I had 5 hours to produce a final piece. I came up with this: [link] It looks a bit empty now |: Don't ask where it came from, my brain is complex It's influenced by many bits of art. I figured a collage would be a pretty simple easy idea, I was quite proud of how it came out
So overall a pretty good day even though I had been dreading it!

Wednesday
Was just not really good and not worth writing about to be quite honest school wise. But! Returned home to listen to a very new leaked (:\) and shiny remix that Brandon (on his own, sadly) had done of Starsailor's song "Tell Me It's Not Over" and my o my! IT'S BEAUTIFUL! The original is fantastic, the remix is just as great. When he starts his ooohing it's just like zomg

Funny funny day
In I.T we went on this programme called "Serif Draw" If you don't know it's a bit like photoshop but specifically designed for drawing. They had these adorable graphics of animals, but also in turn graphics of various funny facial parts.
