Every 28 years, the sun returns to its original place in the sky. This is called "Bircas Hachama". I was lucky enough to be able to say this. However, my Hebrew reading skills are... well, slow. Yep, it's been a year since I created my series, Worldwide Earth [link] , and boy, a lot sure has changed! ...I thought I'd write more on the subject, but I can't think of what to write.

Speaking of series, I'm planning on making a new series (but I'm not getting rid of Worldwide Earth yet) called "Le Reine Boutique". It takes place in a pawnshop in Quebec called "Queen Pawn Shop". The main character is Alex Rook, a naive and optomistic French-Canadian looking for work. Mushka Queen is the pessimistic owner of the store. More information to be revealed once I think of it.

...This is the first snow day in my high school years since... well, this is the first snow day in my high school years. They say since the principal of my school (let's call him "Rabbi Bender" after the Futurama character since he's nothing like him) has a huge car, he thinks anyone can make it safe to school on a snow day. But today, the snow was so bad that I stayed home. Oh, don't get me wrong-- I assume school is still open.

I actually had to dig the car out with a shovel... and it's not even done. I stepped outside this morning... and my pants immediately got covered in snow! Well, I bet I'll have to go tomorrow. Not that I have a problem with that.

That's right, I drank alcohol. But I didn't get drunk, nor did I get tipsy. As this was my first sip of alcohol, instead I got Psychosomatic, which means I fooled myself into thinking I got tipsy. Keep in mind, this was for Simchas Torah, when we repeat the Torah reading for the year, so it wasn't sinful.

The first drink I had was a sip of Goldschlager, with has flakes of gold in it. It smelled like cinnamon, but like cinnamon, don't swallow it all at once. My mouth burned as I screamed, "YOU PEOPLE SUCK!". Keep in mind, this was not out of anger towards my family and beloved guests, but out of sheer comedic effect. It worked.

The second drink was vodka. It tasted like rubbing alcohol. I slightly coughed on it. The third drink I had was rum. It was disgusting as well. Finally, one of our guests put alcohol in a cup of grape juice. I drank it, as there was only a hint of the foul taste.

After all that, I thought I got drunk. I might've, granted that my eyes turned glassy and my face turned red. My behavior was silly, but not despicable. I don't think I'll ever touch that stuff again.

SO! On the first night of Succos, I saw a guy smoking. Why? Because you're allowed to start a fire on Succos. But here's the thing: He put the cigarette down on the stone counter near the shul and walked away. Apparently, while you are allowed to start a fire on Succos, you can't extinguish one.

Well, that just (pardon the pun) burns me up. Kids were playing in that area! I wanted to smack the cigarette on the ground, but apparently that would extinguish it.

Sigh... anyway, how's everyone else?

Ah, Yom Kippur... like the scent of a fresh lemon... well, that what we do every year. We put spices into a lemon so we can smell it, which somehow prevents hunger. But that's only us. I will be in Temple (or "Shul" for those in the know) from 7 or 8 in the morning until... well, about 3:30. Then Mincha is at 4:30, followed by Maariv at 7:13. Yes, Yom Kippur is all that.

It's long, it's spiritual, and it's quite boring, really, but who can argue with a day to atone for our sins? So I won't be here from tonight until tomorrow night, fasting. Wish me luck!

It's based on both Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat and the actual story. This may make me look like a sinner, but who isn't? As far as I'm aware of, the Torah (known as "the Bible" to most of America) doesn't forbid parodying its content. Copyright laws were different 4,000 years ago (I don't know how long ago people living in the year 2008 call it, but we in the year 5,768 think it was about 1,000 years ago). So don't worry!

I got actually closure today! I was in the Judaica store with my dad (a store for Jewish products), when someone hits me on the shoulder. I turned around. "Hi" was my response. Then I did a double take. It was my best friend and HIS father! He's leaving tomorrow for Dallas, so he was shopping for Jewish products as well. We said our goodbyes and good lucks as I left the store.

My brother is leaving America for a year on Monday. My best friend is going to boarding school in Dallas. I haven't drawn anything hilarious on deviantART since school ended. I haven't been able to listen to music for three weeks. I haven't had meat since last week. I've had this stupid cold since Tuesday, I can't shave, the kid I shadow is leaving camp on Wednesday, and all I can think about is when to have Avary and Kaycee admit they love each other.

I FINALLY BEAT DRAWN TO LIFE!!! WOO-HOO!!! I got it in, like, October. I actually beat it two days ago, but I collected all the secrets today. I didn't buy everything as of yet, but I can if I want to. Now what do I play?

Our pets are so dysfunctional... Patches is our fat cat who plays role as alpha pet. We had her the longest out of all of them. Rorschach is our very fluffy cat who scratches everything. She enjoys licking plastic bags. Persephone is our new dog, but she may as well be a cat. She barks on occassion, but she's not playful. As for the guppies, we don't know much about them aside from the fact that they're even more brain-damaged than dalmatians.

Avary's laptop is frozen, so one of the other five main characters help out. Harmony has computer skills like a robot, Sketchu Maji IS a (broken) robot, Kaycee plays a lot of videogames, so she must know something about computers, Cariss-Soff is rich, and Trinko... well, you'll see what happens.

Well, I beat Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Time. It was much better than Blue! Also, I got Darkrai FAIRLY in Pokemon Diamond! Looks like a good month for videogames! Happy June!

Well, Passover (or Pesach to those in the know) is coming up... interesting story just a few minutes ago.

Every year we buy boxes of food for Passover, and they (the delivery guys) bring it upstairs. This year, they left it on the front step, blocking my only escape route. Being the only one home (and one out of three members of my family without back-pain [my parents have back-pain, not my siblings]), guess who had to bring in nine boxes? HEAVY boxes. See how bold "heavy" is? Now I'm one out of three members of my family WITH backpain! Happy Passover!

Also, I don't believe the Orphans Works Act. I'm not giving out a link, because you might over-react too.

Well, I have no clue what I should do. I need to make a special deviation involving Miruba. So... should I make a picture of Miruba that actually looks good? Or... I could have him just say "yay"...

Originally I wanted to make a flash of Miruba's life, but I realised that's too boring and time-consuming. Also, I have plenty of ideas for future deviations! Good ones, for a change! So I need to do what I just described in this journal before any GOOD deviations come out.

Yes. Our TV is haunted. And at a very unfortunate time, too... you see, on Friday night we're not allowed to use anty electronics for religious reasons. When we came home, the TV turned on by itself! "Staticstaticstaticstaticstaticstatic..." Well, this was quite a predicament. Later, the TV turned itself off. |You can imagine how overjoyed we were... until it turned itself on AGAIN. Then off, then on, then off--on--faster and faster! After awhile, it shut off for good... until we were about to go out a few hours ago. So... what's wrong with our TV? Okay, I know this is old news, but I never got around to saying how awesome the characters in Brawl look! (Even R.O.B.) And the color-swaps are so cool! Dedede has old-school colors (greenish-gray), Luigi has Waluigi clothes, Ganondorf has eviler Ganondorf colors, Falco has dark Falco... sorry for the spoilers...

In other news, Yotsuba&! is one of the greatest mangas ever! Even if she IS the symbol of a terrorist group! She's cuter than Bubelman! And talks cuter, too! I never thought a slice of life manga could be sooooo good! Also, I'm anxious for Phoenix Wright manga and... BOBOBOBOBOBOBO!!!! YAY!!!

And wish my sister a happy birthday! (I'll tell her.)

A trailer for Super Smash Bros. Brawl accidently previewed Ness, Jigglypuff, and LUCARIO (which I predicted ) as playable characters, thanks to the sticker screen. LUCARIO, for goodness sakes! If Ness and Jigglypuff are in the game, Marth deserves to be in the game, too!

FINALLY! SMASH BROS. DOJO [link] ANNOUNCED PIKMIN AND OLIMAR AS CHARACTERS!!!! Even if you don't like Pikmin (WHICH YOU SHOULD), this proves characters are still being announced. How long has it been? October?

Just curious though... aren't Pikmin easily killed? And Master Hand could smash them in a blow! But I think Olimar can pull the out of the ground to make more.
