Ode to Bomb Queens by ~Vanchi

Oh well I figured it's been a while since I last updated my journal so I might as well write something now that I'm in the mood.

I feel terribly ill today. I wanted to just sleep and watch tv all afternoon But I still have tons of pending work to do. Right now I'm finishing a painting for my aunt. It's a gift for their school president so I want it to be perfect. I also practiced some matte painting a while ago and failed. So now I'm back to finishing some commission sketches. *sigh* I get bored everytime I work on something for too long so I like to sketch every 2 hours or so. It keeps me from falling asleep and it kinda refreshes your mind. So yeah... Gotta go take a short nap cuz the other day I was cleaning the house and when I carried the coffee table I heard a snap in my lower back and now it's killing me.

Nothing much here. I just wanted to post my commission info on a different page that's all.

Commission Info

I prefer commissions without a deadline cuz I tend to do better work when IÂm not under pressure. So at this time IÂm offering these types of commissions:

For sketches:
Headshot: $20 (+ $10 per additional character)
Bust: $25 (+ $15 per additional character)
Whole body: $35 (+ $20 per additional character)

For colored commissions:
Headshot: $35 (+ $10 per additional character)
Bust: $45 (+ $20 per additional character)
Whole body: $60 (+ $30 per additional character)

Note: Prices may vary depending on how detailed you want the work to be. All images are done in a 300-500dpi resolution with a very simple colored background. For additional backgrounds, prices will start at $30. You may use your commissioned artwork for anything that is NON-profit.

What I will draw
I will draw almost anything Â-original characters, fanart, Gaian avatarsÂ EXCEPT hentai, mecha (I will only if itÂs just a minor part of the image), arthro, furtai and absolutely no ~~yaoi/yuri~~.

Method of Payment
Payments must be made through Paypal after I show you the first update. Please contact me via Deviantart notes or e-mail (my add is mylsiekins@yahoo.com) with the subject commission with your name and e-mail address, type of commission (e.g. sketch: bust) and just enough info (e.g. gender, eye color, skin tone, body type, hair color, personality etc.) regarding the character you want me to draw.

*important note* Please DO NOT send me the payment before I've quoted a price for your commission.

ItÂs about time I updated this section of my page.

My laptop has been acting weird, which explains the lack of activity for the past weeks. I had it shown to my cousin and he said I needed to replace the harddrive so I did and now itÂs working perfectly yay! Haha! Anyways, so uhm that being said I want everyone to know that IÂm now accepting commissions. Just a few more things before we proceed. Please read carefully;

Number1. If you want to use my artwork, it is important that you at least send me a note. IÂm no selfish person all IÂm asking is some respect. IÂve caught a few ppl stealing my art and at first I took it as a compliment. But when I saw what this dude [link] did to my Lolita piece I got so annoyed. I am so gonna report his ass to DA.

Number2. You may not deform, edit nor crop the image. I can allow a little resizing but other than that, you cannot do any other changes to the piece.

Number3. Now this really important cuz IÂve seen lots of ppl doing it. You CANNOT use my drawings for myspace layouts and/or livejournal skins without my permission. Downloading them to your computer for personal use e.g. desktop wallpapers/ mobile phone backgrounds etc. is fine. No need to note me for that.

Number4. Do not use ANY commissioned works that I have in my gallery unless you have written permission from me AND the person who commissioned it. Aaand last but not least

Number5. You must link back to misslastri.deviantart. com. If I see someone not giving me the proper credit for using my artwork, IÂm gonna have to ask them to take it down.

There. Pretty simple innit? Now back to commissions.

They caught it at same time but since they're both so nice, I decided to give them both free drawings of their choice. Next time though, only the first one to catch the kiriban will be rewarded. Sooo.. I'll be working on your free drawings as soon as I reinstall my tablet, mmkay? My laptop caught a virus so I had to reformat it. Too bad I left some of the installation CDs at home, I'm at my aunt's place right now. Anyways, I'll be opening for commissions soon, if anyone would be interested, of course. She had her operation yesterday, breast cancer. And I do hope she's okay. She's very important to me cuz she was always there when I had problems with my family. She took care of me and my sister when my mom was away, I seriously don't know what could've have happened to us if she wasn't there. She's the best aunt ever and I love her dearly. I hope I can go visit her this saturday if the weather gets better.

My 5 Weird Habits:
1) I really really reaaaaaally like the smell of rubber. Don't get me wrong, I'm not an addict or anything. I just like the smell of it. Dunno why.

2) I like breaking my nails. Especially on my toes. Instead of using a nailcutter, I just twist em around till they break then I smooth the edges with the nail file. Haha! Weird, i know.
3) Summer is my favorite season (iono if that's weird though) I really can't stand cold weather cuz I get cold real easy. That's the reason why my grandma loves me so much cuz I never use the ac in my room. eheh
4) I like smelling my sister's armpit. (eew) And
5) I also like talking like a pirate. Arr! But that's just me. Anyways I shall tag
