I changed my name from Zombified to TrashBeat in other places more than a month ago. Zombified is so very, deathrock orientated. I love me deathrock, but I never looked deathrock or looked zombified. My work has nothing to do with zombies or gore as the name implies.
Also seeing that I'm trying to make it big in the photography world, TrashBeat is generally a lot more welcome than Zombified.

I need to sort my portofilio out too as I feel this DA has gotten a lot more messy recently. I want good work up only, of good quality. So, welcome forth the age of arty trash beat scum, say goodbye to cliched deathrock days. Hope to see you on my new account (especially the orange one...how are you these days anyway?)

When we finally met up again to hear our verdict they announced it in front of EVERYONE. First up, they called the names of the people who had gotten unconditionals, as if we were to all be amazed by them or something. Then it was people who they felt weren't developed enough, and had given them a place for 2010. The guy proper laid into this one kid and why he was getting a place into 2010. I was in the conditionals group, but the whole experience just made me feel very uncomfortable. No interview, no chance to explain my work, I don't know who any of the teachers or are didn't have a chance to ask questions and we were treated like cattle at a show or something!

Yeah, deffinetly Westminster. I just need a Merit...
And I still can't get over being in London one minute, and being out in Leamington drinking the very same evening...it's very much a mind fuck XD

I had my first interview at Westminster uni, which si the first uni in the world to have taught photography! I am staying optimistic, I feel I have a chance and they seemed to like me but like 500 apply and there are 55 places on the course...

I stayed at Mr Ed's house from Screaming Banshee Aircrew and he laughed at the fact that I had put my protfilio together that afternoon (I stayed at his house in London so I wouldn't have to worry about trying to get to the uni the next day). I meantion this not to name drop, but so hopefully you will go listen to SBA. If you give me emails I will pass you on my favourite songs by them. They put on a good live show and deserve sucess!
Mainly, because he makes me toast and tea and takes me out to see the sleazy indie scene of London and almost killing me in traffic, but ya know.

And of course, it's just my luck that I'm going to London again today to see Schwefelgelb. And then again next week for Dead and Buried. Then I must stop going to London for a bit....need to save cash for WGT incase EMA doesn't come through! And I get to see my best friend , and hopefully my Portuguese friend Paulo who I suspect was in London last night for The Cure as he follows them everywhere.

I am going to shower and BE CLEAN. Stay safe kids.

I haven't been updating this thing so much because I've been busy and have been becoming very frustarted with my life and education. To put it into simple terms- if someone said to me right now "wanna run off to London and live together forever and ever" I would throw up everything and join them.

Today I received a letter from the London college of Art though and they're asking me to supply them with 6 photos and 200 words as to why I chose them and 250 words about a photographic image in general circulation. I don't know what photos to choose. Help me! Tell me which ones of mine in me gallery are your fav (not my modelling pics those won't get me into a photography course )

They are ELECTRONICAL and FRENCH. I like French bands. I think they have that sexy je ne sais pas in their musique.


They are playing London on the 17th of Jan, for all you lucky people who are able to go. Saddly, my loyaltys lie with Dead and Buried (on the 3rd) and Ghoul Garden (new deathrock club in Nottingham, opening night 10th) so will probs be unable to afford to go. Maybe you'll come see me at DAB and Ghoul Garden if ya cool enough!

As for me, recently I've been lazing about after defeating tonsillitus. I expect I'll be back in the real world soon (as if I was ever part of the real world, pffft)

Scarlet and the Spooky Spiders are from ITALY. They're a funky little deathrock band which will make you wanna get your groove on. I think they love The Cramps just as much as me.
I saw these groovy little spiders at Drop Dead Festival in Portugal in October. They played the Thursday and I did a little boogy. My mate Cavey Nik put them on in London many a year ago, and if Nik puts them on they must be good!

Anywho, what has been going on with me.
Some of the photos I've been uploading are of poor quality because
1) DA takes ages to upload full quality images and I have no patience.
2) DA lowers the quality of my images anyway as it hates me.

I was supposed to do a couple more shoots this week. However, a couple of weeks ago I found a lump on my neck. I was shitting myself that it was cancer but had no time to go to the doctors as I have been going to collage and then working with no time to myself.
On Friday evening I developed a sore throat. On Saturday fatigue set in. I started hallucinating at night. I forced myself to work with my Mum waitressing on Sunday to help her out and couldn't eat anything at all because of my throat.
I came home and decided to check my tonsils out in the mirror. They were covered in delcious white lumps. Yes ladies and gentleman, I have tonsillitus of the bad kinda which I have to take antibiotics to get rid of. Had to get the bus to Leamington doctors yesterday whilst having a fever, which was fun.
And I haven't been out of bed since today, really!

But in good news I now have photoshop thanks to my friend Jase. I am hoping he will be at Dead and Buried on Saturday so i can give him thankyou hugs. And so should you!
